AI: Summary ©
The sermon from Islam's first sermon highlights the importance of peace and mercy in Islam, as well as Jesus being the Greatest and the King of the universe. The speaker also touches on the subhanous nature of Islam, including its focus on the experience of the world and various elements of the universe, as well as the recording of surah Al-An, a beautiful parable recitation, and how it relates to the Q-home of Islam.

In
the name of Allah, the
Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious,
the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Master of the Day of Judgment.
It is You we worship and You we
ask for help.
Guide us to the straight path.
The path of those You have blessed.
Not of those who have incurred Your wrath.
Nor of those who have gone astray.
And when Abraham said to his father Azarah,
Take idols as gods.
Indeed, I see you and your people in
manifest error.
And thus did We show Abraham the kingdom
of the heavens and the earth, and that
he might be of the believers.
And when the night descended upon him, he
saw a star.
He said, This is my Lord.
And thus did We show Abraham the kingdom
of the heavens and the earth, and that
he might be of the believers.
And when the night descended upon him, he
saw a star.
He said, This is my Lord.
And when it set, he said, I do
not love the heedless.
And when he saw the moon rising, he
said, This is my Lord.
And when it set, he said, If my
Lord does not guide me, I will surely
be of the people who are astray.
So when he saw the sun rising, he
said, This is my Lord, this is greater.
So when it set, he said, O my
people, I am innocent of what you associate
with Allah.
Indeed, I have turned my face to Him
who created the heavens and the earth, turning
away, and I am not of the polytheists.
And his people argued with him.
He said, Do you argue with me about
Allah while He has guided me?
And I am not afraid of what you
associate with Him, except that my Lord wills
a thing, and the price of my Lord
is all things in knowledge.
Will you not then remember?
And how can I be afraid of what
you associate with Him?
And do you not fear that you associate
with Allah that which He has not sent
down to you as authority?
So which of the two groups is more
worthy of security, if you know?
Those who believe and do not wear their
veil in injustice, for them is
security, and they are
guided.
Allah is the Greatest.
Allah hears those who praise Him.
Allah is the Greatest.
Allah is the Greatest.
Allah is the
Greatest.
Peace and mercy of Allah be upon you.
Peace and mercy of Allah be upon you.
Peace and mercy of Allah be upon you.
Surah Al-An'am.
This is the surah we are reciting.
Nowadays, it should be finished by next week.
It should be done with Surah Al-An
'am.
And throughout the whole entire surah, Allah SWT
focuses on one theme and one idea, which
is the Qudra of Allah SWT.
Today, the first ayah recited, Allah SWT beautifully
speaks about something that is very relevant to
what we've been discussing here, which is Dua
Al-Istikharah or Salat Al-Istikharah.
Allah SWT says,
Very descriptive, SubhanAllah, language, very descriptive and
beautiful ayah where Allah SWT describes His Qudrah
and His Power SWT and His Knowledge of
the Ghayb.
He says, and with Him are the keys
of the Ghayb, the unseen.
With Him are the keys of the unseen.
The keys, this is like definite.
All the keys, everything related to the Ghayb
or the unseen, Allah SWT has knowledge of
it.
Including what is going to happen to you
and I, including whether the Istikhara that you're
making or the job you're seeking or the
business that you're seeking is good for you
or not, Allah SWT knows it all.
So if that is the case, who else
should you actually resort or should, you know,
you should ask for guidance and for hidayah?
Only Allah SWT.
وَعِنْدَهُ مَفَاتِحُ الْغَيْبِ لَا يَعْلَمُهَا إِلَّا هُوَ None
knows them but He.
He knows whatever there is on earth and
in the sea.
Look, this is ba'da al-dhikr al-khaas
ba'da al-'aam.
You know, Allah mentions something very general and
now He's going very detailed and very specific.
If He says or had He said only
the keys of the unseen, then we know.
But then He says, سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى وَيَعْلَوْ مَا
فِي الْبَرْ وَالْبَحْرِ Anything that is on earth
or in the sea, you see, in the
sea, it's a whole different world.
From the top, from the surface, you feel
like it's just calm.
But when you go down, it's a whole
different experience.
Last time I was in Egypt and I
posted some videos about it, I went diving.
And subhanAllah, you see, it's alive.
I took also one of those submarines, not
the real one, just a fake one.
You see, subhanAllah, the sea is a whole
different world.
So Allah knows each and every fish, what
it looks like, how long it was created,
when is it going to die, and what
kind of food it eats.
You can think of this, subhanAllah.
You see, in the fall, the leaves,
when they fall, Allah says, any leaves that
falls, Allah knows everything about it, and what
is going to happen after that.
Can you imagine that?
These small, tiny things.
Who thinks about the leaves, subhanAllah, amongst us?
Where is it going to go?
You just look at it, it's yellow, it's
green, yellow, and that's it.
But for Allah, it's a whole different perspective.
And he says, going more specific, subhanAllah, and
he says, there is not a grain in
the darkness of the earth.
A grain in the darkness of the earth.
Right?
SubhanAllah.
Nor anything fresh or dry, but it is
written in a clear record.
Everything is documented.
Even these things, subhanAllah, somebody might ask, why
would Allah document all of these things?
Because He, subhanAllah, is all-powerful.
That's His universe.
He knows every single little, small detail.
Even if there is an ant in the
middle of a dark rock, in the dark
night, Allah subhanAllah provides with the ant.
With that being said, you are the most
honoured or honourable creation of Allah.
We know that.
All of these creations Allah subhanAllah is talking
about, Allah subhanAllah, He honoured us.
So I created everything, but you are very
special to Allah subhanAllah.
So now the question is, do you think
that Allah subhanAllah does not have a record
of each and every one of us?
Before you came to this country, you went
to the consulate, they have your record.
Wallah, you will be surprised.
Everything, this is what you said, and this
is the day you visited, and everything is
just flash drive.
Do you think Allah subhanAllah wouldn't know this?
So with dua al-istikhara, Ya Allah, I
am confused.
I don't know what is best for me,
because you are the one who has the
keys of the unseen.
Choose for me.
Select the best for me, Ya Allah.
So I just wanted to kind of tie
in this, the ayah that I recited with
the dua al-istikhara, or salat al-istikhara,
and inshAllah we will continue further with this.
Recite surah al-an'am.
It's a beautiful surah, and there is a
lot of, subhanAllah, a lot of things mentioned
about the Qudra of Allah subhanAllah wa ta
'ala in surah al-an'am.
I ask Allah subhanAllah wa ta'ala to
make us from those who recite the Quran
and understand the Quran.
Ya Rabb al-alameen, Allahumma ameen.
Aqoolu qawli hadha wa astaghfirullah li walakum.
Jazakumullahu khayran.
BarakAllahu feekum.
