Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest.
I bear witness that there is no god
but Allah.
I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger
of Allah.
Come to prayer, come to success.
Prayer has been established, prayer has been established.
Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest.
There is no god but Allah.
There is no god but Allah.
And if you are punished, then punish as
you have been punished.
And if you are patient, it is better
for the patient.
And be patient, and your patience is not
except with Allah.
And do not grieve over them, and be
not in distress because of what they plan.
Indeed, Allah is with those who are righteous
and those who are doers of good.
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most
Merciful.
And We have decreed for the Children of
Israel in the Book, You will certainly cause
corruption in the earth twice, and you will
certainly ascend to a great height.
And when the promise of the first of
them came, We sent against you servants of
Ours who were severe in battle, and they
passed through the homes, and it was a
promise fulfilled.
Then We repeated to you again against them,
and We supported you with wealth and children,
and We made you more numerous.
If you do good, you do good for
yourselves, and if you do evil, for them.
So when the promise of the Hereafter comes,
let your faces be evil, and let them
enter the mosque as they entered it the
first time, and let them destroy what they
have destroyed.
It may be that your Lord will have
mercy on you, and if you return, We
will return, and We will make * a
prison for the disbelievers.
Indeed, this Qur'an guides to that which
is most just, and gives good news to
the believers who do good, that for them
is a great reward.
And as for those who do not believe
in the Hereafter, We have prepared for them
a painful punishment.
And man prays for evil as he prays
for good, and man is ever hasty.
And We made the night and the day
two signs, and We erased the sign of
the night, and We made the sign of
the day visible, that you may seek bounty
from your Lord, and that you may know
the number of years and the reckoning.
And everything We have detailed in detail.
And for every person We have bound his
tail in his neck, and We will bring
out for him on the Day of Resurrection
a book that he may find spread out.
Read your book.
Today your own self is sufficient as an
account for you.
Whoever is guided is only guided for himself,
and whoever is astray is only astray.
And let not a burden bear another burden,
and We will not punish until We have
sent a Messenger.
And when We intend to destroy a town,
We command its rich, and they are corrupt
therein, and the Word has come into effect
on it, and We destroy it with destruction.
And how many generations have We destroyed after
Noah, and sufficient is your Lord as an
All-Aware, All-Seeing, Knower of the sins
of His servants.
Whosoever intends to hasten, We hasten for him
therein whatever We will for whomever We will.
Then We made for him *, that he
may enter therein condemned and banished.
And whosoever intends the Hereafter and strives for
it, striving for it while he is a
believer, for such it is that their striving
is appreciated.
To each We extend these and these from
the gift of your Lord, and the gift
of your Lord is not restricted.
See how We have favored some of them
over others, and the Hereafter is greater in
degrees and greater in favor.
Do not set up with Allah another god,
lest you be condemned and forsaken.
Allah has spoken to the pregnant.
Allah is the Greatest.
Allah is the Greatest.
Allah is the Greatest.
Allah
is
the Greatest.
Allah has spoken to the pregnant.
Allah is the Greatest.
Allah is the Greatest.
Allah is the Greatest.
Allah has spoken to the pregnant.
Allah is the Greatest.
Allah is the Greatest.
Allah is the Greatest.
Your Lord knows best what is in your
souls.
If you are righteous, then He is ever
Forgiving to those who turn to Him.
And give to those near to Him what
is right, and to the needy, and to
the wayfarer, and do not waste wastefully.
Indeed, the wasteful are the brothers of the
devils, and Satan is ever ungrateful to his
Lord.
And if you turn away from them in
search of mercy from your Lord, hoping for
it, then say to them a gentle word.
And do not make your hand tied to
your neck, and do not stretch it all
out, lest you be condemned and rejected.
Indeed, your Lord extends the provision to whom
He wills and has power.
Indeed, He is ever Aware of His servants,
Seeing.
And do not kill your children out of
fear of poverty.
We provide for them, and if they are
poor, We provide for them.
Indeed, their killing is a great sin.
And do not approach adultery.
Indeed, it is an immorality and an evil
way.
Allah is the Greatest.
Allah hears those who praise Him.
Allah is the Greatest.
Allah is the Greatest.
Allah is the Greatest.
Allah is the Greatest.
As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
Reciting the last part of Surah Al-Nahl
and the beginning of Surah Al-Isra, I
personally, and I don't claim to be a
mufassir or something, but I look at the
correlation between the end of Surah Al-Nahl
and the beginning of Surah Al-Isra, at
least if we try to apply it to
what is going on in the world nowadays,
we will find that at the end of
Surah Al-Nahl, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
speaks about an incident, during the Ghazwah of
Uhud basically, where the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam lost his uncle Hamza, Asadullah Hamza ibn
Abdul Muttalib.
And it is one of the saddest and
most unfortunate days in the life of the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
Hamza, Asadullah Hamza, he was not murdered or
killed in a normal way.
We know what was done to him.
And it showed how much of anger they
had towards Hamza.
And they knew how powerful Hamza radiallahu anhu
was.
So they killed him and the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam, according to one narration, he
said, you know, because they did this to
my uncle, I am going to actually kill,
he said 70, 72, 73, like basically, he's
going to be, you know, multiply that number.
Because Hamza wasn't a normal person.
Then Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says in
Surah An-Nahl,
You know, if they did this to your
uncle, then he should not say that I'm
going to punish, or going to do this
multiple times on multiple people.
If something like this happened
to you, do the same.
And then Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala said,
You know, it's frustrating.
It makes you really upset and very mad.
And it makes you feel like your moral
and your emotions are down a little bit
because of what is happening.
However, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,
But you know, even
if you have sabr after all of this
harm and this adha, subhanallah, and this oppression,
then even that's better for you.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,
Again, see how many sabr
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala said here.
The next ayah there is also sabr.
Have more patience.
I will be
patient until patience itself becomes like wondering how
he's becoming patient.
Subhanallah.
Don't worry
too much.
They're planning a lot of shaitan and satanic
acts behind the scenes, but don't even worry
about it.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, he sees.
He sees the meetings that happen behind the
closed doors.
He sees everything that they're planning for you
and for the ummah and for your companions.
Just do
your part.
So that's the end of Surat An-Nahl.
It feels like it's really relevant to what
is happening now and what we see in
Gaza, of course, and Lebanon, and so many
other oppressed countries in the world.
Then Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala goes into
the next surah, which is Surat Al-Isra.
So you see that,
subhanallah, the order here.
And again, this is just my own reflection.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala speaks about an
incident which made the Prophet ﷺ really, really
upset and really angry because he lost his
uncle.
And then the next one, Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala speaks about Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa.
And then Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala also
speaks about Bani Israel.
You corrupt twice on earth, right?
And then Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala said,
You know, when the first time, after he
corrupted the first time, we're going to send
the strong servants of ours.
You see the word عباد, here عباد, like
true عباد of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
You know, when the ummah fulfills the عبودية
of Allah azza wa jal, when the ummah
fulfills the عبودية of Allah azza wa jal,
only then we can achieve victory.
Only then.
But aside from that, don't even think about
it.
Because it doesn't make sense.
If Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala makes you
victorious right now, you think, okay, Muslims they
do all kind of haram, they're not following
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, they just go
with the flow, but Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala is still giving them victory.
They didn't even work for it.
It's not going to be significant.
But Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala supports you
when he says that you deserve the support.
But we, unfortunately, many of us don't deserve
the support right now.
So don't be surprised.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,
A true
servant of ours.
A true servant of ours.
But if we look at the servants of
Allah nowadays, or they call themselves servants of
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, they betray one
another.
They betray one another.
They do what?
Betray one another.
They support the enemy behind the scenes.
Can we call these servants of Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala?
And guess what?
Even if Damascus is liberated, they're going to
go out and celebrate.
Although they were betrayed.
So this is not to disappoint you and
make you lose hope, but just to give
you clarity.
The Quran gives us clarity.
You need to do something.
You have to work for it.
You have to work for it.
And then, of course, Allah continued.
Hopefully tonight we can talk more about this.
But we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
to allow us from this to be true
servants of His.
And we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
to make us amongst those who recite the
Quran and implement and apply the Quran in
their lives.
Allahumma ameen.
I say this, and I ask Allah to
forgive me and you.
May Allah reward you well.
To remind the brothers, inshallah, the sisters, to
go out and vote and do your part.
This is shahada from Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says, Go out
and vote, inshallah, and do your part.
The question is, whom should I vote for?
Do your job.
Okay?
Do your job.
There are a lot of Muslim organizations.
They said, we endorse this one.
Obviously, I personally cannot tell you.
The masjid cannot tell you.
But do your part.
Instead of saying, I don't know where I'm
going to go because I don't know whom
I'm going to vote for.
Do your job.
Okay?
This is your amanah, inshallah.
Be a servant of Allah, azza wa jalla.
Jazakumullahu khayran.
Qabballahu minna minkum.
Also, we have Saturdays at 9 o'clock.
We have Fajr.
And then also at 9 o'clock we're
going to have the breakfast, inshallah, community breakfast.
So join us.
