			Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh My dear brothers and sisters in Islam welcome to episode
number 24 moments with the Quran. Today's moment comes from Surah to tasas. No doubt from the story
of Musa alayhis salam and Musa alayhis salam story is vast. But for today's moment and episode, we
want to tap into the moment of his life after he successfully escapes the search parties of your
own, the army of your own and everyone who was searching for him because of the events that happened
in Egypt. And as he successfully escaped Egypt, he reaches the waterplace of Midian. And he finds
the hustle and bustle of livestock trying to get their fair share of drink from these water places.
		

			And in in the process as well of his observation, he sees two girls as well, but they are driving
their livestock back. Everyone is trying to drive their livestock forward. They are driving their
livestock back. So he goes over to them. And he says Matthew Kumar, what's your circumstances
situation? So they said that, you know, we wait for the men to finish with their livestock. And then
when they are done, we go and allow our we go forward and allow our animals to drink. So basically,
they're making manifest to him that we don't appreciate, you know intermingling with the men. And
naturally the animals when they see the water, our animals are trying to also run in to get the
		

			drink. So we're driving them back to ensure that there's no fear of any intermingling, and so on and
so forth. And this is for modesty, brothers and sisters in Islam, and then they explain that our
father is an old man. So naturally, Musa understands that there's no other males who can assist. The
father is an old man. So they doing this noble work on behalf of the Father. So Musashi, Sam takes
ownership of the situation, he gets, the animals fed, and then the animals are handed back without
any request for any IGR any reward and so on and so forth. Now, naturally, these girls go back home
to their father, earlier than usual. So the father naturally he asks, you know what happened today?
		

			Right? Why are you here earlier than normal? And they explained to the Father exactly what happened.
So the father, no doubt wants to have an audience of Musa alayhis salam and one of his daughters
comes after that. And Allah subhanho wa Taala says, For at the Houma gem, she is here
		

			to hand Allah, Allah subhanho wa Taala says that one of the girls came walking, right? modestly
Subhan Allah modestly, but Allah subhanho wa Taala already told us that one of the girls came, but
Allah subhanho wa Taala says, she came walking modestly. And after this, Allah say scarlet, she said
to Musa, that, indeed my father wants to have an audience with you so he can give you the reward of
your kindness, you know, for the work that you did, with regards to his livestock. So in between
walking, and she said, Allah says is to here, and a stay here, right and a stay here. modest. Allah
describes her as being modest in between Allah telling us that she came walking and Allah telling us
		

			that she spoke, this is amazing Subhan Allah. And obviously, depending on how you read the the ayah
these meanings become more apparent. So for example, if Allah subhanho wa Taala said, Vijay at their
home at Tempe, right, one of the girls came walking and you stop there. And then we recited LSD
here, pilot, LSD here incarnate, right? So the translation would be one of the girls came walking
and model in a modest way she spoke. But if you read the ayah, in a different way, such as the
following for jet
		

			tendency is to hear that one of the girls came walking modestly. Right? So we see some handler, how
modestly here describes the way she walked. And the way she talked to handle the way she walked and
the way she spoke. Right. Now this obviously, our scholars through pondering over the meanings of
the Quran, they've highlighted this amazing benefit. And basically, they're highlighting to us
Hannah law, how modesty the concept of being modest, is from the most amazing qualities of a female,
and how her modesty is understood in several matters from them, the way she walks, and from them the
way she talks. No doubt this benefit is especially for the sisters, but also applies to the parents
		

			who are raising daughters. So hon Allah, may Allah subhanho wa Taala bless us with the knowledge of
the Quran in its entirety. So Allah in its entirety is a big ask because the knowledge of the Quran
just never ends. It's the timeless miracle that just keeps giving just keeps giving you recite surah
casas the first time you'll understand something the second time you'll understand something new the
third time you'll understand something more substantial. And the same is the case with all the
sources of the Quran. For those who are familiar with my teachings of surah Yusuf in several

			I've always tried to make it a habit of teaching the new audience, the new lessons that I have from
Surah Yusuf, in the lesson that's currently taking place that I didn't have when I taught the lesson
previously Subhanallah it is the timeless miracle that just keeps giving me Allah subhanho wa Taala
cause us to live as part of the family of Al Quran and cause us to be raised on the day of gamma
with the family of Al Quran. I mean, you're a brand I mean, this is the lesson of today's moment, be
modest, and modesty comes from the way we speak and the way we walk and we gain the Subhanallah from
the reading of just one area from the book of Allah subhanho wa Taala I love you all for the sake of
