Welcome brothers and sisters to this morning's event.
As just before, check, Sergeant Omar comes onto the stage, I'd like to briefly remind the brothers and sisters of the nine points I had made without elaboration in Sharla. And by the time I finish, I hope there'll be more people who have managed to come into the lecture halls from both the brothers and the sisters side in shallow tala.
First of all,
when we, when I gave my talk, I mentioned that being faithful to Revelation is to grow into big becoming animated in our intuition
that I mentioned the second point was that being faithful to Revelation also means to have a passion for the impossible.
Then I mentioned being faithful to it is to have hope in things that are not in our hands.
And the fourth point I made made following on from that was being faithful to Revelation is to let revelation possess us, instead of us possessing revelation.
by revelation, of course I mean, the Quran and the Sunnah.
The fifth point, following on from that was being faithful to Revelation is to uphold the truth and virtue everywhere and with everyone.
sixthly I mentioned being faithful to Revelation is to avoid superstition, reject wasteful and demeaning conduct, and to be assured, through obedience and adherence, that Allah's mercy prevails over his anger.
Seventh Lee that being faithful to Revelation also means to trust Allah, without reservation.
The seventh point as an eighth point was being faithful also means
about it means to love Allah, basically. And finally, I mentioned being faithful to Revelation is to live a life knowing that the way we treat the servants of Allah and we are all servants of Allah is the same way we can expect Allah to treat us in turn. So our conduct is important. So these are the nine I think important principles or points I mentioned slightly academic and these lots of explanation perhaps to some people, but some of us can easily engage with those. So that's my summary inshallah for Shaq's, a soldier, then the fourth one is coming across. Can I mention again, please, turn your mobile phones off. That's extremely important.

So just be aware of this little things. There's no complaint nobody's complaining anything. It's just I think we haven't taken enough precautions and preparation to arrange this
properly. Because the nature of the event is a family experience you can't avoid but be but on that side, the sister side there is an area and we'll try and

It is my absolute pleasure to introduce to you Chef sajida Ahmed Ahmed. He is from Zimbabwe, having studied in Saudi Arabia for the last nine years. He's a graduate from Eman South University. He completed a diploma in Islamic Studies. He then completed a degree in Sharia and he is now pursuing his master's in advanced judiciary, Mashallah. He is actually a British citizen having he was born here, having lived the first few years of his life here before moving on to Zimbabwe and then on to Saudi Arabia. And it's his first time here at our conference and we are indeed grateful to him having come here Mashallah. But it's not It's his first time here in the United Kingdom. He is
actually involved with several Islamic organizations including knowledge International University mercy mission and alcohol third, Mashallah. He's also been traveling extensively worldwide giving lectures in Australia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and having come to the United Kingdom several times over as well Mashallah. The title for the talk today is having faith for eternal life, achieving freedom from eternal despair. We've started a little bit late so we aim to finish just under an hour's time in your life. indeed all praises belong to Allah subhanho wa Taala. We praise Allah subhanho wa Taala we seek Allah subhanho wa Taala as assistance and we see colossal panic attacks as guidance
and we seek refuge in Allah subhanho wa Taala from the adverse consequences of our deeds, and the evils of our souls.

that he has gathered us here today. I mean,
first things first,
are servants of Allah. And that is that our presence here at this particular conference is solely to worship Allah subhanho wa Taala. And this is something that we need to
keep manifestly alive in our hearts. We're here to learn, yes, but that is a secondary objective. We're here to meet our fellow Muslim Brothers, and for the sisters to meet their fellow Muslim sisters. But that is a third party objective. The primary focus of your attendance here is the worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala. You have to believe that from the time you left your home,
during the travel that you experience coming here, during the days that you will stay at this particular venue. You are in the worship of Allah.
Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah kaha your presence here is a means of building your paradise. Your presence here is a means of making your skills weighty on the day of
your presence here is not in vain. And Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah does not allow the good of those that do good to go astray Subhana Allah, may Allah subhanho wa Taala accept our deeds, and May Allah subhanho wa Taala forgive our mistakes, indeed, he's upon or labor. I mean, the topic I shared with you earlier, is having faith in an eternal life, as well as achieving freedom from eternal despair. And as someone said, just before I walked into the venue, the topic itself is a lecture. Right? The wordings of the topic is a lecture in and of itself. And this is a very clear in the fact that Islam and our sources has shared wholesome lessons pertaining to
both the titles that I've read to you. So there's two titles that have come together and in reality, we could actually have two separate talks regarding this but nonetheless, it is but an important inclusion Alhamdulillah in the list of topics for this year's conference, and inshallah We ask Allah subhana wa
Allah to grant us the ability to do some form of justice to it. I mean, so once again, having faith for an eternal life and achieving freedom from eternal despair. Now, my dear brothers and sisters, my dear mother, mothers and fathers, that which there's no doubt in
that which there is no doubt in is that we
will live two lives, we will live two lives, a life which is temporary, and a life which is eternal, a life which is temporary, and a life which is eternal. And
we understand the reality of the temporary life when we study the Islamic sources. And we hear for example, the words of Allah subhanho wa Taala. When he said, in the comedian, or in the home by the tune, Allah subhanho wa Taala revealed to his prophet that you will die and they will die. And Allah subhanho wa Taala said, could lunasin the equitable mode, Allah subhanho wa Taala said that every soul shall taste death. And if we look at the teachings of Mohammed, Abdullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam and let us ensure that when we hear the word Muhammad, we say sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as this is from the rights and manners and etiquettes with our beloved prophet muhammad sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam, when we look at his teachings are servants of Allah, and O Children of Adam, we find several a prophetic narration that makes manifest the temporary nature of our life in this world. So for example, he advised us by saying, Lucky numata comme la Ilaha, Illallah, he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that we should make our dying, repeat the statement, La ilaha illa Allah. So the fact that he taught us this lesson, teaches us the temporary nature of this life, of the temporary life, which is one of the two lives that I shared with you earlier. And this was manifest amongst people in general, or this understanding of a life being temporary, was manifest in people
in general. So we find the statement of a poet, an Arabian poet, when he said, Alamo to Babylon workqueue, NASA, hello, that death is a door. And each and every one of us will walk through that door. very eloquent words, and words that really strike a nerve within ourselves. It brings forth an awareness and acute awareness and an understanding that each and every one of us will die. And this is something which we have witnessed, and our sources are indeed enough for us.
Also sevens have a lot and oh, children have Adam, that which there is no doubting is that we have an everlasting life awaiting us.
We have an everlasting life, awaiting us.
For Allah subhanho wa Taala said, we're in an
that indeed, the life of the Hereafter is forever. Allah subhanho wa Taala your Creator and my Creator, the Lord of the worlds are blessed that he will Joanne Allahu kahar the only one worthy of worship the irresistible ahead alpha summit, Allah The Lamia lead, will amulet Willem yaku. And ahead sapan, who were to Allah, glory and Exalted be his mentioned, told us that the life of the Hereafter is indeed forever. And as believers in the words of our Creator, and in the authenticity of the Quran, that it is the unchanged word of Allah subhanho wa Taala. We believe without doubt that the life of the Hereafter is eternal, the life of the year after is everlasting.
Now that we've brought about the fact that
we will live two lives, we need to also remind one another, that mankind differed in the understanding regarding the reality of life, the reality of life, and you can write life in capital letters. They differ in the understanding of the reality of life. So, we have a group that thought life was the life of this world.
They thought that life was the life of this world. So they forgot about the concept of boundaries. And they did everything in their capacity.
to quench the thirst of their desires to satisfy their whims to complete their fancies.
And that made sense, because they made the concept of life this temporary life. So, the net result of that is doing everything in our capacity to achieve all our ones before this life is taken away.
They sacrificed everything important for that which they thought was important.
They sacrificed everything that was important for that which was important, and they lived their lives as a result in Oblivion, in Oblivion, a state of heedlessness a state where they were governed by the whims and fancies and there was no concept of responsibility, no concept of accountability that mattered to them.
Allah subhanho wa Taala speaks about these people. In his book, Allah subhanho wa Taala says, fella to urge ibuka Mr. Lu home oil.

Allah subhanho wa Taala says regarding these people who thought that the true life was the life of this world, Allah said, Do not become fascinated and did not become amazed by their wealth, their financial standing, their material well being and do not become amazed as well, regarding their children. It is only that Allah subhanho wa Taala wants to punish them
with the financial standing and material well being wants to punish them with the children that has blessed them. So panela wealth, which everyone knows is a means of goodness, right? Nobody says no to wealth, right? Everybody is trying to increase the material well, being nobody's trying to decrease it. Nobody stands up one day and says, You know what?
I've had enough of earning money. I want to become bankrupt. Does anybody say that? So how does that work that Allah subhanho wa Taala says that Allah only wants to punish them with their wealth. What does haka and foster home or home coffee ruin, and they are from the disbelievers.
Now, obviously, Allah gave them the blessings. And these were people who didn't know boundaries. So they use these blessings in a way which contradicted the teachings of Allah subhanho wa Taala and the teachings of His Beloved Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So they lived lives without boundaries, and they were given only to indulge even more in their disobedience, only to indulge even more in their disbelief, and as a result of the extreme indulgence, the punishment in the real life which is the life of the laughter increased, does that make sense? This is what Allah subhanho wa Taala says about them. Allah subhanho wa Taala says about them from our behead tiara to
whom, American Almighty Allah subhanho wa Taala says the trade was not blessed with any real profit. Their trade was not blessed with any real Prophet, and they were from the misguided. In fact, Allah subhanho wa Taala says, They traded the greater for the lesser.
They sold the hereafter for a paltry price of this temporary life.
We Allah subhanho wa Taala protect us all. Allah subhanho wa Taala says and sort of out there
eloquently and the words of Allah subhanho wa Taala all eloquent, Allah subhanho wa Taala says, yeah.
In our adult life, he has

Allah is addressing everybody, O mankind. Indeed, the promise of Allah is help.

With regards to the life of this world, it is only but a deception to not become diluted.

we have another group, and this group hit the nail on the spot, when they took to task the concept of understanding the reality of life, and they considered life the life of the hereafter. Again life in capital letters if they considered life, the life of the hereafter.
And because of this, they remembered the words of our beloved Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, when he said, couldn't fit dounia Kanika Sharif, or Abu Seville, that remain in this world, as if you are a traveler, or a wayfarer. We know that when we travel, we pack only what we need. We don't indulge and sort of pack access to our requirements because travel is difficult. The airlines only give us 20 kgs. Right. And if we overweight, it's extremely expensive, right? So we pack according to our requirements. And this is what our beloved Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam is teaching us live in this world as if you were a traveler. Don't live as if you settling here.
Understand that the real life is the life of the hereafter that is a place of settlement, and not this place. So this group, understood wholesomely the words of our beloved Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and this group understood when our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said hydrogenous, man, pala amaru, una Emmylou, that the best of all people are those who have been blessed with a long life and been blessed with good deeds.
They lived a long life, and they live that long life in the obedience of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And they understood the words of our beloved Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, when he said, Well shall ness, men pod or Maru wa
that the worst of all people are those who live a long life, but they live that life in the disobedience of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So this is a group, oh seven of Allah, and oh Children of Adam, who understood the reality of life. Thus, they invested not the word invest, they invested they health, before sickness, they invested their wealth, before poverty. They invested they youth before old age, and they invested their free time before they became busy. And they invested their life before their death.
This was the net result when the understanding was correct. Now, why do I use the word invest?
Understand are servants of Allah, no children of Adam, now that you know that the real life is the life of the hereafter. Understand that this time that we've been given, and this wealth that we've been given,
does not belong to us.
It belongs to Allah subhanho wa Taala.
We have been given it and as a result of this, we will be answerable with regards to how we utilize this time and how we utilize this wealth. If it was our time, and our wealth. Why should we answer about anything that we do? That makes sense right? Right. If you have 1000 pounds

If you had 1000 pounds,
you can spend it how you want.
I can spend 1000 pounds how I want is that correct?
Allah subhanho wa Taala says in his book in law hasta la mina mina
Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah says that Indeed, Allah has bought from the believers, their lives and their wealth in exchange for gender
in exchange for Jenna, so we took ownership of gender and Allah subhanho wa Taala took ownership of our life and our wealth.
Are we all clear on this? Okay, let's move on. Now that we've understood that we don't own our time, and we don't own our wealth, we should never ever say, we have sacrificed our time. Or we have sacrificed our wealth when we do that, which is the command of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And this is a common statement nowadays, if you attend the talk, or if somebody donates the speaker, at the end, we'll say, we thank you for sacrificing your time. And we thank you for sacrificing your wealth. And we need to put a big X on that particular statement. It's not sacrifice its investment. But I'll tell you that a little bit later, when you spend a lot of time that he's given us the way he wants
us to spend that time and his wealth, which is given us the way he wants us to spend that wealth we have invested, we haven't sacrificed. So that was the sacrifice. If I gave you 1000 pounds, and I said hold this amount of money, and next week, I will send you
an instruction of where to deliver that amount. And the following week, I said please go to Brother with man. And please pass on that amount to him. Do you have the right to go with mine and say he has 1000 pounds which I have sacrificed?
Do you stretch your money to sacrifice
so if this is not our wealth and not our time, it's not ours to sacrifice. When you attend a conference like this, when you spend in the path of Allah subhanho wa Taala when you spend your day looking after the commands of Allah subhanho wa Taala you have invested because Allah subhanho wa Taala is not in need of your piety. His Majesty is great whether you worship him or you don't worship Him, whether I worship him or I don't worship Him, Allah subhanho wa Taala doesn't need us to prostrate to increase his rank that how La La quwata illa Billah. When we followed his commands, Allah subhanahu wa Jalla gave us a big agenda.
He invested our piety for our benefit La ilaha illa Allah. But when do you really sacrifice
sacrifice of servants of Allah, and oh Children of Adam happens when you spend this wealth and this time, which we don't own in the disobedience of Allah subhanho wa Taala because when you do that you are sacrificing your agenda. You are sacrificing your paradise, when you could be investing and growing it you are depleting it. May Allah subhanho wa Taala protect us all. So I want you guys to have this understanding. There is and that's why at the beginning I said you are here to worship Allah we are investors, and I thank you for investing your time and I asked Allah subhanho wa Taala to increase your investment. There is no better way to invest our wealth, except in the way of Allah
azza wa jal Allah, Allahu kaha.
So servants of Allah, once again, I say, with the correct understanding, this group of people invested their health before sickness, and they invested their wealth before poverty, and they invested they youth before they became old. Or they youthfulness and they invested their free time before they became busy. And they invested their life before their death. Allah subhanho wa Taala makers from the people of gender, when the time of death applies to us, I mean, so this group of sevens of Allah and oh Children of Adam and my dear fathers and mothers and my dear brothers and sisters, this was a group that saw this temporary life as a means to an end and not an end.
Does that make sense? They saw it as a means to an end and not an end. And as a result, their spacious homes did not affect them. As with that spacious home,
they remembered the tightness of the grave. And the bright chandeliers that lit the homes did not affect them. Because with those chandeliers they remembered the darkness of the grave. So panela and they preserved or persevered, rather, in all good, as they remembered the words of our beloved Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, when he said, la Khurana hadoken Mira maroussi Shia walo an ELT a haka. Subhanallah today, how do we meet people
with a serious face, right? We should meet them with a happy face, because meeting them with a happy face is an investment. So when you understand where you are, and you understand where you will travel to, and you understand how to get there successfully, you have become a person who lives their life with perspective, because that's what perspective is with clarity. And because that's what clarity is, right? You know where you are, you know where you're going, and you know how to get there successfully, because everybody will get there. But the question is, who will be successful? And who won't? My dear brothers and sisters, now that we've affirmed the everlasting nature of the
And we've discussed how groups have differed in the understanding of life. Ask the question, why is belief in the hereafter so important?
Why is belief in this eternal life? As is one part of this talk today? Why is it so important?
There's countless pieces of information I can share with you regarding this right. But I'll share with you some
belief in the year after dear attendees is a momentous concept in our lives with uncountable benefits.

is in believing in Allah subhanho wa Taala and the last day and Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions in it, some other pillars from the pillars of Eman in that particular ayah. So Allah subhanho wa Taala clearly tells us that it is from piety, and it is from better to believe in the last day.
Believing in the last day of servants of Allah allows us to deal with adversities that we experienced in this temporary life. It truly does.
Imagination if somebody oppressors and oppressors and oppressors and oppressors, and then they just dropped it.
After all the hurt that you feel and the oppression that they've done to you,
wouldn't that be a bigger problem for you? That that's it, it is dropped dead. They did what they did, and they oppressed and they stole and they usurped
and they might have killed
and they just dropped dead? Doesn't that create a bigger problem in our minds and hearts? Way is the form of justice here. Right? And mankind by nature, it is part of our natural disposition to
do everything in our capacity to attain justice, even the two year old child
So hey, no, let me tell you why.
When the two year old child is walking, and he bumps his head on the wall, for example,
he starts crying, isn't it? What do you do to stop the child crying? You hit the wall, naughty wall, the child is happy. hamdulillah justice, right? Although you shouldn't do that, that's bad. That's bad, because then you teach the child that when you get hurt, you should hit people, right? Because the child learns that Oh, that's what my mother does. She hit the wall. When somebody hits me, I'm gonna hit him as well. So we should that's bad. That's not the ideal way of dealing with the situation. But that's to do with another topic, so we won't discuss that. So, believing the hereafter helps us understand this concept of justice and it helps add peace in our lives because we
know we will go to a date in which no operation will take place and pure justice will exist and Allah subhanho wa Taala will take each and every body to task each and every one will be taken to task. So hon Allah so we
This belief in the last day indeed as peace and contentment to our lives, belief in the last day weakens the trials and tribulations that we face in this world.
By Allah does, because we know that if we are patient in our adversities, then Allah subhanho wa Taala will reward us with a greater price with a greater price. So panela it's not a concept of we suffering in this world. And that's it. No, your difficulty is a means of greatness for yourself. So be a person of resilience in your difficulty and maintain patience. And this can only happen based on the strength of your belief in the last day. We have heard people say, may Allah protect us all? Why does Allah subhanho wa Taala do this to us?
With the goodness in such and such an act, for example, this are these statements are a clear sign of lack of belief in the last day.
That's where the problem is. Many people ask how do we solve the problem?
You solve the problem through teaching them the reality. But before that, there's a step. You have to solve that problem through building email. You have to solve that problem through building a man. May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us the understanding,
