During these ten days… go big or go home!

Salam Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh My dear brothers and sisters in Islam, I pray you all phenomenally well and worshipping Allah subhanho wa Taala to the best of your ability during these virtuous and sanctified days, the first 10 days of the Al Hamdulillah hamdulillah. Allah subhanho wa Taala has brought us many reminders regarding the reality of these days and how righteous deeds during these days are more beloved to Allah subhanho wa Taala than any other day. But take note of the fact that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said righteous deeds alarma asylee right. And we understand from this statement, any good deed, any deed beloved to Allah subhanho wa Taala is

more beloved to Allah subhanho wa Taala. And this should push push as brothers and sisters in Islam in being more creative, in terms of, you know, setting our aspirations for these 10 days in terms of the plan of execution that we have for these 10 days to ensure that we gauge Allah subhanho wa Taala in so many different ways, using so many different deeds that are beloved to Allah subhanho wa Taala now, no doubt, our Salah, our fasting, our recitation of the Quran, our Africa takbeer these are all mighty, but also brothers and sisters in Islam, let us not forget that, you know, being dutiful to our parents, how mighty This is with Allah subhanho wa Taala, raising our children and bringing them

closer to Allah, how mighty This is with Allah subhanho wa Taala maintaining the bonds of kinship, looking after the family relations, how great this is also with Allah subhanho wa Taala. So with this knowledge brothers and sisters in Islam, as we get through these days, and before we get to the 10th of the hijab, let us become more creative in terms of, you know, developing our relationship with our parents for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala Alhamdulillah we are doing much for our parents, what more can we do, especially during these 10 days that you know, because it's pleasing to Allah subhanho wa Taala when we are in the service of our parents and obedient to them, what more

can we do? Right? It might be in the form of making an extra special do ask for them during these days, because maybe you far away from them. Right? If you live with them, and you're closer to them, then the sky is not is not the limit is the minimum in terms of what you can do in 10. You know, with regards to gaining,

you have the happiness but that extra happiness from them with regards to your children, what extra thing can you do during these 10 days right as a parent because it's beloved to Allah subhanho wa Taala that you raise your children? What extra thing can you do for them with regards to you know, your responsibility over them and bring them closer to Allah subhanho wa Taala it might be that you already have, you know, a weekly sitting with them? Can we increase that setting? Right? Can we help them memorize a new surah? Can we teach them the meanings of a surah of the Quran? Or maybe two or maybe three? Or maybe a few verses? If we can't, can we bring a teacher in to teach them right?

during these days, especially doesn't mean we need to stop after but during these days, especially right so we need to be creative with regards to this as well. With regards to maintaining family relations, what can we do right to bring extra happiness in the hearts of those that Allah subhanho wa Taala has told us to fear Allah subhanho wa Taala with regards to them the bonds of kinship, right? Those people that Allah subhanahu Allah has set a relationship between us and them and made it from tough for us to maintain relations with them. We do we are doing things for them and hamdulillah What more can we do? Now I know, whenever we talk about family relations, people write

to me and say, Chef, but you know, we have, you know, between us and a family member, the relationship is so toxic, that if I engage them, it's going to cause all my 10 days of the future to to disappear because I'm just going to become so upset. So I say to you, you know, these are exceptional circumstances, but they do exist no doubt. So if you can't do good in the least don't do harm. Right? For the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala especially during these days, point to note brothers and sisters in Islam and amylose silence, right. All good deeds, all good deeds, we should think about all good deeds, different ways to engage Allah subhanho wa Taala and knock the doors of

our Jenna. So brothers and sisters in Islam. This is our season of worship. We don't know if we're going to get another one. Get creative and do more for it can never be enough.
