			Mashallah, welcome to season two, Episode Two of our series blast from the past serum in the 21st

			And that principle is everything right is good. But not everything good is necessarily right. must
always remember this. And we are taught this in the Sharia, even if we look at marriage and getting
married, right Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told us to look for religion, religion, right,
as a decisive factor in choosing our potential spouse, but Islam has also taught us that from the
conditions of the continuation of the marriage, is that this compatibility, compatibility, so
somebody could be religious, this is good. But it doesn't mean that they're religious, that they're
right for us, we could be incompatible. It could be a factor, you know, you could be a person who's
		

			very quiet. You like a quiet house, but this person who you might get married to talks a lot. What's
going to happen, right, you're going to have ringing ears for the rest of your life. Right? This,
this can happen. So you look at compatibility to make sure that we are concentrating on what is
right. I'll give you another example. If you read a book, a self development book, a good book, not
a story book, a fictional book, a self development book, you read this book, The night of an exam,
and you still not ready for the exam. Let's say you have a math exam tomorrow, and you're reading a
self development book. Now reading is good. But is it the right thing to do at that time? No, it's
		

			not the right thing to do. So not everything good is right. But everything right is good. And the
reason why I say this brothers and sisters is because we discussing our objectives. Right? We are
here to do something good.
		

			But we must make sure that it's right. You know, sitting and listening to a talk is a good thing.
Nobody's gonna say you lost. Staying in the house of Allah is a good thing. Nobody's going to say
you've lost in fact Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam says in a hadith reported by Abu hurayrah
in certainly Muslim and this is going to make those who are sitting happy. mage

you are sitting in Allah as mercy, Allah will give you gender. If you make dua for your children,

for your community or for your country. In Allah's mercy, allow and accepted we know my dear
brothers and sisters, it's our sins that block the mercy of Allah reaching us. Now, Allah has given
		

			us a chance by making us and choosing us to sit in the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So the
harmful effects of our sins cannot harm us now we are in the mercy of Allah. This is the time to ask
from Allah. This is the time to remember Allah, this is the time to learn there is no better
gathering than the gathering of knowledge. This is the second present. What's the third present?
Allah causes angels to surround this gathering. La Ilaha Illa angels Yama, yes, angels, as
Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has taught us dedicated angels that Allah has created to
travel the earth to traverse the globe. Looking for gatherings such as this, Allah sends them and
		

			says, Go look for my servants who have gathered to learn from the inheritance of Rasulullah
sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So the angels rush, because they love to follow Allah commands, they
rush
		

			and they search and they search until one angel or a group of angels comes across Masjid. rumery
will come up
		

			and say Subhana Allah, I found what Allah told me to find. Now, what do the angels do? as taught as
taught to us by Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam the angels are not selfish. They don't
selfish. They're not selfish.
		

			They are selfless, you know, if it was you and me, and we came across a million ringgit, for
example. Which should be the secret Don't tell anyone where it is. Right. What are the angels do the
angels call out to the other angels?

			brothers and sisters. And that is why, and especially since Rasulullah, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
said Adele and his family, that the one who points towards good is like the one who does good. That
is why you should make sure you bring someone in your right hand and you bring someone in your left
hand when you come for this lesson. So that you get these rewards that I have shared from the people
you bring as well. So this is the beauty of Islam, and hamdulillah for Islam. May Allah subhanho wa
Taala.
		

			grant us the understanding me. So this is a blessing gathering being here is good, my dear brothers
and sisters, but we want to make it right. Remember, we said right is the best? How do we make it
right? By remembering what we shared yesterday, the objectives I'm not going to go into them in

Quran. Because events of the Sierra are mentioned generally in the Quran, like we said yesterday.
Number three, to understand or develop and grow our understanding of the irrelevance of Rasulullah
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and his history in our life today. So yesterday we said when you go
		

			home on the way I learned this today, I learned that today and I have this issue I'm looking at or I

			excuse me, a small portion of the surah, which highlights a historical event with a lot of Moosa to
tell the people, his people, but who is trying to slaughter a cow. This is a historical event,

situation is impossible for us. We hyperventilate because of that, but the reality is we haven't
really understood the setting that really brought it about history helps us do this. I'm not going
to dive into World War One in the lessons of World War One. That's a different topic altogether. But
I just want to excite you to understand the importance of history and learning about history. Now,
one of the questions that was asked was, or after our introduction was, what's the best book to
		

			learn the Sierra? Can you tell us a book to read to study the Sierra? Well, as I said yesterday,
brothers and sisters, as many books there's many books but let me just clinically answer this
question because the question I said what is the best book, the best book to learn the zero is the
Quran. The best book to learn the Sierra is the Quran. Look, look at Surah Surah Allah Allah, Allah,

the Quran study the Quran is the best reference for the Sierra. And it is the root of the Sierra, no

today. And that was the Islam of Hamza radi Allahu Allah. And Omar Ravi, Allah who are our leaders,
the giants that walked the face of this earth before us yesterday, I described them as the Giants
upon whose shoulders You and I are trying to balance ourselves. We'll introduce you today. We'll
		

			take some lessons today. And continue with the lessons tomorrow. And remember, as I said, we are
analyzing and we're not just storytelling. Now what's amazing if we look at the Islam of Hamza and
Omar, Ravi Allahumma, is that one person's Islam happened out of defense of the messenger sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam, the other person's Islam happened according to some reports out of his desire to
kill Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So
		

			look how Allah subhanho wa
		

			Allah guides matters, that sometimes you think you know, but you don't know. You think you think
something is good for you, but you don't know you think you think something's bad for you, but you
don't know. The result is both of them became Muslim. But the reason is two different things. One
wanted to annihilate Islam, the other one who wanted to defend his nephew.
		

			You know, Hamza, right, never knew about the intricacies of the message of Muhammad sallallahu
alayhi wasallam. But when we look into his Islam, we see that he was someone who was as a preset
born in Makkah, before the birth of Rasulullah, sallAllahu, Alayhi, wasallam, or two years before
the birth of Rasulullah, sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So in terms of age, he wasn't much older. He
wasn't, you know, a very senior person to Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi, wasallam. In terms of age,

have an uncle that's only two years older than Rasulullah salallahu alayhi wasallam. So by default,
they were close, they shared matters, and they had a relationship. Now.
		

			The interesting thing about Hamza rhodiola, and which probably many don't know, is yes, he was an
uncle to Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam. But he was also a foster brother of Rasulullah
sallallahu alayhi wasallam, which means they drank milk from one female. So he was a foster brother
to Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and the female that they drank milk from is the famous

			Hamza before Islam. He was a fierce enemy. Omar was the one who told the Quraysh or told the leaders
in the House of Representatives, that you know what, whoever accepts Islam, we should start beating
them. We should start persecuting them. We should start punishing them. It was Omar who said this,
take note of this. In fact, Omar, he beat the slave girl who he was responsible over for accepting
Islam from morning till night. And when he finished, he said to her, Omar has not stopped beating
you because Omar feels sorry for you. Omar has stopped beating you because the handover has become

sallam said yes, he said, we will stop hiding. Let's march together to the caravan. And the Muslims
came out with honor. And they marched towards the caravan with cameras on one side and armor on one
side and all of the Quraysh and the leaders could only look on and nobody dare attack the Muslims
because they said how can we attack them when they have armor and Hamza with them? How can we attack
these people? So please take note of this My dear brothers and sisters, because even Mr. Ravi Allah
who said that, from the time Omar accepted Islam we were no more seen as the underdogs or we no more
		

			felt that we were the underdogs This is a rough translation, but I want you to take note of this as
