			Allah, the Almighty the majestic. His words were on a philosophical level.

00:02:35 --> 00:02:37
			And to those three,

00:02:40 --> 00:02:42

00:02:45 --> 00:02:46
			That's just the

00:02:48 --> 00:02:52
			simple chapter heading of asahikawa

00:02:53 --> 00:03:15
			before he actually begins headies so let's have a look at the chapter heading Malhotra Lucha de ses
chapter of the Hadeeth of gabbled mnemonic of your loved one, and the statements of Allah the
Almighty the majestic, why the third earth that they live in a colorful includes parts of a verse of
sort of

00:03:18 --> 00:03:20
			unexplained all of this in detail.

00:03:22 --> 00:03:27
			Gathered nomadically your loved one was one of the unsavoury companions.

00:03:28 --> 00:03:31
			And he relates

00:03:32 --> 00:03:33
			a very long

00:03:34 --> 00:03:52
			one which was studying in relation to his remaining behind and failing to join the prophets of
Allah. Heidi was one of them in one of his most famous and critical expeditions, the husba, the
campaign of double.

00:03:55 --> 00:04:30
			This is what the Hadeeth is about. It's not so much about the campaign of the walk itself, but
rather, the loads connected. It's more about gathering the moniker of your loved one's own
narrative, his own story, his experience, his feelings, his failure to join the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam, his repentance and remorse for this and law, delaying his the acceptance of his
repentance and then his ultimate redemption. So this is what the story is about.

00:04:33 --> 00:04:38
			Governor Monica de la one, let me say a bit about Gavin monocle of the alarm himself.

00:04:39 --> 00:04:53
			Government monocle de la one was one of those companions who wasn't from makaha originally, but he
was an unsavoury companion from Medina from the tribe of cousin lunch

00:04:57 --> 00:04:58
			even before the hedge

00:05:01 --> 00:05:06
			When the prophets the law it was something was met by a number of

00:05:07 --> 00:05:12
			people from Medina to who responded positively to his call.

00:05:15 --> 00:05:20
			One year the prophets of Allah, it will send them on the occasional hedge, met six of them.

00:05:22 --> 00:05:26
			The following year, they brought six others there were 12 of them.

00:05:28 --> 00:05:30
			Then, in the third year,

00:05:33 --> 00:05:36
			approximately 75 companions,

00:05:39 --> 00:05:50
			mostly men, some women came from Medina on the occasion of hatch. And on this on this occasion, they
all gave beta sort of sort of love, some love, love it.

00:05:52 --> 00:05:56
			And this was done near a protruding rock known as Apple.

00:05:57 --> 00:06:18
			And this night came to be it was done at night and the secrecy and the darkness of the nights, out
of fear of the grace and the profits of the alarm. It was still in Mecca, there was before the
Hitler was in the whole season. And that famous beta is known as beta to Layla tilaka, who by

00:06:19 --> 00:06:21
			the pledge of Aqaba.

00:06:23 --> 00:06:37
			It was a watershed because then the province of the law it was resolved, after that pledge of
allegiance, and after that assurance from the people of Medina, that they will protect him and
assist him and support him.

00:06:38 --> 00:07:18
			After that, he resolved to emigrate to Medina, and de la. And he began sending the companions in
order to establish himself in the city of Medina, which at that time, was known as Yes. So cabina,
Malika viola, and he was one of those 75 people who gave sort of sort of laughs and alarm, it was on
them on that occasion. And he prided himself on this. for him. This was a badge of honor, which he
actually preferred over the badge of honor of being a participant in the Battle of Bethel, even
though he didn't participate in the battle, but

00:07:19 --> 00:07:31
			but he says that, although people regard the veterans have that in a greater light, and they
consider their participation in the battle and to be

00:07:32 --> 00:07:46
			truly meritorious, and a great badge of honor, for me, I would not trade anything with the honor of
having been one of those people who gave back sort of sort of less and less law it was in the night
of.

00:07:47 --> 00:07:57
			So he embraced Islam even before the hedger, but he was from Medina from the two from the tribal
village, one of the two main tribes of Medina as I've mentioned for hours and

00:07:59 --> 00:08:09
			when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam arrived in Medina, he was one of those who received and
well, and at the time of the beer, he was approximately 25 years of age.

00:08:10 --> 00:08:23
			So, when the Robertson love it was arrived in Medina, he was 2526. He fully supported the messenger
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam from the very outset, however, he didn't participate in the Battle of
but

00:08:24 --> 00:08:26
			but in the

00:08:27 --> 00:08:39
			third year of hedging, in the Battle of Oxford, he played a prominent role. And this was the first
battle in which he accompanied the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:08:42 --> 00:08:46
			And in fact, he played a very important role

00:08:47 --> 00:08:49
			in a number of aspects one,

00:08:52 --> 00:08:53
			on the day of the Battle of word,

00:08:55 --> 00:09:09
			abortion of young being the leader of rage March at the head of a $3,000. He tried to convince the
unsolved of Medina to withdraw from this fight.

00:09:12 --> 00:09:16
			Me understanding that this is a quarrel between the or Ah,

00:09:18 --> 00:09:31
			we arrange. We only have a quarrel with some of the members of our tribe, Mohammed and his
companions, who have fled from Makkah and harrisdale caravans and fought us in the Battle of Bethel.

00:09:32 --> 00:09:46
			So, our quarrel is with Mohammed and his companions, the emigrants. Our coral is not from the
indigenous population of Medina the law that will also come as part of his ploy on that day.

00:09:47 --> 00:10:00
			He tried to convince some of the unsaved to withdraw from the battle to detach themselves and leave
the British and the emigrants to battle it out with the

00:10:00 --> 00:10:00
			Each Other

00:10:02 --> 00:10:05
			also can play on that occasion

00:10:06 --> 00:10:57
			could have met with some sympathy. But garbled pneumonic of the alarm stepped in. And the role he
played was primarily because he was a poet. In fact, over the years, the prophets of Allah Almighty
has seldom had three laureates, poets, Royal poets that he himself would had appointed, had chosen
and selected, and they would defend the honor of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and
composed spontaneously and impromptu compose poetry on his behalf, defending his honor and attacking
his enemies and satirizing them, and lampooning them. And the three these three famous poets
laureates were gathered with them molecule, the alarm,

00:10:58 --> 00:11:07
			the alarm, and Abdullah not a lot, but the unlock, he was very eloquent gamma mnemonic. So

00:11:09 --> 00:11:20
			on that occasion, he actually rose and he again spontaneously impromptu, he composed couplet he
composed the whole poet, poet.

00:11:21 --> 00:11:38
			encouragingly, I'm sorry to ignore also of yarn and his plea, and inviting them to be steadfast
reminding them of their duty to the messenger, some love it, some of them and the pledges and the
promises that they had made to him.

00:11:39 --> 00:12:06
			As a result of his moving poetry, the any sympathy that could have been given to a boss of ganz,
please. Discipline dissipated, and then he composed further couplets, and addressed them and sent
them to abuse of young warning him about the unseres loyalty to the messenger Salalah bilinguals.
And their refusal to respond to his plea.

00:12:07 --> 00:12:20
			That was one way in which he played a very important role. Another role was that gambler monocle the
alarm and would proudly recollect that on the day of

00:12:21 --> 00:12:56
			when, unfortunately, because of strategic error on the part of the Muslims, and in fact, the failure
of a number of companions to act on the words and the commands of a sort of lust and the law it was
seldom as a result of that, after the initial victory in the Battle of word. The Muslims suffered a
major setback, and as a result, they were caught in a pincer attack from two fronts from the front
and the rear, and great confusion rained on the battlefield. In that confusion.

00:12:58 --> 00:13:44
			word spread, and this rumor was believed by many that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had
been killed in battle. caribou Malika the alarm was actually the first companion to see the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam safe, alive and well. And he was the one who called out to the Muslims,
giving them the glad tidings and the news that know the prophets of Allah alayhi wa sallam is safe
and well, because he was the first one who actually spotted the Messenger of Allah it was on them,
and who publicly announced this and made this declaration so that the others found out then the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam silan, gambled, nomadic or the alarm, and he gave him part of

00:13:44 --> 00:14:28
			his armor, his joint breastplate and backplate. So Goblin monocle, the alarm actually wore part of
the arm of a sort of law, and it was Salam. And then he fought very bravely, actually sustaining 17
moons and injuries on that day, he was carried away from the battlefield wounded, and he feared and
so did the other companions fear that he would actually die as a result of his wounds, but he did
eventually survive. So this was his role in the Battle of water, which was his first battle. He did
not participate in the Battle of butter. And I'll explain that in the heavies when his words come
actually describing that.

00:14:30 --> 00:14:59
			From the Battle of onwards, he participated in all of the battles within a sort of law, some of the
law and he was sort of my main the loyal companion in the ninth year of hedger when the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam marched to the north, in a campaign which eventually came to be known as
a campaign of the walk. gobble mnemonic of the alarm as a result of his personal weakness and the
personal failure. He failed to

00:15:02 --> 00:15:08
			This was mainly as a result of procrastination and delay, and then

00:15:09 --> 00:15:30
			a failure to join the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he didn't join him, as a result of
which the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam expressed his immense displeasure On his return. And
Allah revealed verses about galbanum article the your loved one and his other companions, although
they weren't named in the corner,

00:15:31 --> 00:15:31
			and

00:15:32 --> 00:15:35
			then Gabrielle monocle the Allah unrepented

00:15:37 --> 00:16:24
			and this is his story of repentance and redemption. Following this story, he remained loyal and
truthful to the messenger sallallahu wasallam after the Prophet sallallahu Sallam passed away, he
survived for another four sorry about 30 or 40 years some narration say he died in 40 hijiri. And
some narration say he died 50 hijiri, approximately 40 years after the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam towards the end of his life he actually became blind. Now, this is the this is galbanum
Article of the alarm and this is a companion that whose story we'll be reading. Now, as I said,
gambling the medical the alarm and was very eloquent. And he was a poet. In fact, he was so eloquent

00:16:25 --> 00:16:40
			that on one occasion he said to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam or messenger of Allah, since
he was a poet himself, he said, O Messenger of Allah, Allah has said what he has said in the Quran
about poets

00:16:41 --> 00:16:44
			for law essays and sort of a shout out, shout out to

00:16:47 --> 00:16:48
			him.

00:16:49 --> 00:16:56
			Nevada, if I do that, and the poet's the way you would follow them,

00:16:57 --> 00:17:04
			Do you not see that they wander aimlessly in every Valley? And that they say that which they

00:17:06 --> 00:17:06
			do not.

00:17:08 --> 00:17:11
			This is a very concise

00:17:13 --> 00:17:14
			and accurate description.

00:17:16 --> 00:17:19
			very succinct description of Puppets

00:17:21 --> 00:17:23
			that the poet's the way you would follow them.

00:17:24 --> 00:17:27
			Do you not see that they wander aimlessly in every Valley?

00:17:29 --> 00:17:31
			And they say that they do not know.

00:17:33 --> 00:17:38
			Because poetry in those days is similar to

00:17:39 --> 00:17:42
			a rap in this day and age.

00:17:45 --> 00:17:46
			Just like rap,

00:17:47 --> 00:17:51
			you could take these verses and fit them perfectly on

00:17:53 --> 00:17:54
			modern day rap.

00:17:56 --> 00:17:57
			But the mushara

00:17:59 --> 00:18:00
			the poet the way would follow

00:18:05 --> 00:18:08
			him Do you not see that they wander aimlessly and every

00:18:10 --> 00:18:16
			one of them you're alone and that they say that which they do not do? Because in those days as well.

00:18:18 --> 00:18:27
			It was exactly the same. What would the poet speak of no different things haven't changed in 1400
years.

00:18:28 --> 00:18:30
			The poet's then they used to speak of

00:18:31 --> 00:18:34
			their sword, their spear.

00:18:36 --> 00:18:39
			The Pope to speak of his sword, his spear his shield

00:18:41 --> 00:18:43
			his horse his camel

00:18:45 --> 00:18:46
			going into battle

00:18:48 --> 00:18:48
			wine,

00:18:50 --> 00:18:52
			drinking, partying.

00:18:54 --> 00:18:55
			His women

00:18:58 --> 00:18:58
			his

00:19:00 --> 00:19:03
			allies, his alliances, his strength.

00:19:04 --> 00:19:09
			And if you look at modern day rap exactly the same instead of the camera, you've got the ride.

00:19:11 --> 00:19:13
			Instead of the sword, you've got the Glock

00:19:15 --> 00:19:22
			and the pistol instead of the shield and the armor you've got the vests

00:19:25 --> 00:19:29
			instead of wine you've got both wine and

00:19:31 --> 00:19:31
			drugs.

00:19:36 --> 00:19:45
			So the description is no different The details are no different. So Allah condemned the Shara in the
Quran, which allow you

00:19:47 --> 00:19:51
			to see the one that endlessly and every Lally and that they say that which they do not do.

00:19:53 --> 00:19:54
			So

00:19:55 --> 00:20:00
			this is another topic altogether. garbled romanichal the alarm set to the messenger

00:20:00 --> 00:20:02
			Just a lot, cinema messenger of Allah.

00:20:04 --> 00:20:07
			Allah said what he has said in the Quran about the poets.

00:20:08 --> 00:20:16
			And he was concerned because he was one of the poets. He was famous. He was a poet even before the
hijra, before he became a Muslim.

00:20:18 --> 00:20:43
			And he continued to recite poetry for the sake of the prophets of Allah, it was some sort of sort of
love from the love. It was seldom said, By Allah, the poetry that you recite against them, meaning
his enemies, the prophets, enemies, but by Allah, the poetry that you recite against them, is
equivalent to showering them with arrows.

00:20:45 --> 00:20:47
			He was that forceful in his poetry.

00:20:49 --> 00:20:49
			And,

00:20:51 --> 00:21:10
			in fact, the whole Camila of those, one of the tribes, the whole tribe of those actually embraced
Islam, because gambled, nomadic or the Lahore and as part of his poetry, he issued threats against
them in his poetry. And when that when those couplets reached them,

00:21:11 --> 00:21:17
			they knew that God was speaking on behalf of the Messenger of Allah, and he was speaking truthfully.

00:21:19 --> 00:21:28
			Out of fear of the threats of gab on behalf of the sort of loss of the law, it was seldom those the
tribe of those actually embraced Islam.

00:21:29 --> 00:21:33
			So gobble monocle the alarm was extremely eloquent.

00:21:36 --> 00:21:38
			And this is one of the reasons why

00:21:39 --> 00:21:46
			this is so famous that have either gamba nomadic, he was a poet, but this is an example of his
poetry

00:21:50 --> 00:22:13
			in the arm when law revealed versus of sort of bolt relating to cannabigerolic, although he wasn't
named and his two companions What are Robbie and Hilary knowmia two other companions are guilty of
the same failure as gabbled nomadic, these three Allaha which we'll say is of them in sort of boba
while a third Earth and Athena

00:22:14 --> 00:22:54
			and that's what hurting him I'm Claudia had to learn today alludes to in his chapter heading when he
says Berber Hadeeth Academy nomadic in earlier Lahore and we're only learning as the virgin while
the ferocity Latina, colorful chapter of the hadith of garbled, nomadic and the statement of Allah,
the Almighty the majestic, while a third Earth and living in a higher level. And to those three
whose affair was deferred, he is referring to this verse of sort of totoaba, in which law says while
naka de la horrorland nibio marcellina What uncertain devina terbaru visonic are sort of embody maka
the zoo for a minute.

00:22:56 --> 00:23:01
			So matava de noviembre overhang, while the ferocity living in

00:23:02 --> 00:23:06
			the dark and even more remarkable, Dr. La he

00:23:07 --> 00:23:11
			was an alum and gentlemen of La la la metabo de

00:23:15 --> 00:23:27
			la se is, indeed a lot relented and turned in mercy to the prophets and to the immigrants and to the
assistant from Medina.

00:23:30 --> 00:23:31
			And the vena cava, all of

00:23:32 --> 00:23:36
			those who follow the messenger in the hour of difficulty,

00:23:38 --> 00:23:39
			after

00:23:40 --> 00:23:44
			it was close, that some of their hearts may have swear

00:23:45 --> 00:23:47
			them a lot of terms to them in mass.

00:23:50 --> 00:23:58
			So that they may repent, indeed, he is most compassionate and merciful towards them. And then in
this next verse last season, this is a verse in question.

00:23:59 --> 00:24:10
			And a lot of and two, meaning a lot turned in mercy to those three, while a third level, whose
affair was deferred

00:24:12 --> 00:24:26
			their bark, and even more, until when the earth became narrow and restricted for them. Despite its
vastness, well, dark alley and fossils, and even their own souls became constricted for

00:24:28 --> 00:24:28
			one

00:24:30 --> 00:24:38
			and they were convinced allameh gentlemen Allah in that Lee, that there is no refuge from law except
in a law

00:24:41 --> 00:24:42
			from metabo it

00:24:43 --> 00:24:46
			then law turn to them in repent in accepting them.

00:24:49 --> 00:24:49
			So

00:24:51 --> 00:24:59
			this is the verse which has been referred to in the chapter heading. And when was this occasion when
did the unsolved on the Mahajan on the end

00:25:00 --> 00:25:06
			Immigrants on the assistance follow the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in the hour of
difficulty. This was a campaign of

00:25:09 --> 00:25:36
			so garbled nomadic will be able to see the words how the poor earning just one verse describes their
own inner condition, and the outer condition of their world, these three, whose affair was deferred,
ie they fail to join the messenger some of the law it was suddenly. But last panel, who was when
they return, they apologized. But the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam does not accept their
apology.

00:25:38 --> 00:25:41
			And what was to become of them?

00:25:42 --> 00:26:03
			What was lost judge was the prophets judgment. He reserved judgment until Allah declared his
judgments about these three. And Allah reserved His judgment and deferred their matter. So this is
what's referred to those three, whose matter was deferred. And in that period,

00:26:05 --> 00:26:15
			of that matter being deferred in that interval, which lasted approximately 50 days, they were
ostracized and boycotted by the whole community.

00:26:18 --> 00:26:34
			their life, their lives, their world was became such that law describes it in these words, until the
earth sponsors vastness became restricted, narrow and constricted for them, and even their own souls
became constricted for them.

00:26:35 --> 00:26:40
			Until they were convinced that there is no refuge from Allah except to Allah.

00:26:41 --> 00:26:45
			In just these just few words, they require a lot of explanation.

00:26:46 --> 00:26:58
			What was their state of mind? What were their emotions? What was the atmosphere in the city of
Medina? How did they feel? What were they thinking? What are the companions thinking?

00:27:00 --> 00:27:33
			There is no one better to describe that to us. And to illustrate that to us than one of the three
who happened to be this extremely eloquent gamma blue molecule of your life. And he was a famous,
powerful and eloquent and forceful poets. But this is an example this is one of the longest have
Ethan Mahajan. This is an example of his eloquent prose. This is another reason why this is so
famous. Allow me to explain something about Arabic literature. For those of you who are studying
Arabic literature.

00:27:35 --> 00:27:43
			What sorry, those of you who are familiar with Arabic, and especially those who are either orlimar
or Bolivar, to Lenin, and who have studied,

00:27:45 --> 00:27:49
			say, the alien laws book and what are

00:27:50 --> 00:27:51
			the

00:27:52 --> 00:28:00
			other belagavi is an anthology of Arabic literature, selections of Arabic literature, and his book,

00:28:01 --> 00:28:19
			display despite being an Indian, he compile this book, as an anthology of Arabic literature,
selections from Arabic works over 14 centuries, for people to study and appreciate the power, the
beauty and the elegance of the Arabic language. And it's known as an

00:28:20 --> 00:28:25
			RV This was so well received, that in sharm

00:28:28 --> 00:28:31
			May Allah bring peace and stability to that land

00:28:33 --> 00:28:34
			in sharm

00:28:36 --> 00:28:37
			the number of

00:28:39 --> 00:28:42
			leading Arab men of lettuces

00:28:44 --> 00:28:45
			convened the council

00:28:46 --> 00:29:09
			to choose a book, which would be the best example. And the best anthology of Arabic literature for
students, and advanced students across the Arab world to study and appreciate the beauty of Arabic.
So naturally, these were Arab men of letters, poets, and

00:29:12 --> 00:29:22
			literary artists. They all came together. And having studied and scanned and surveyed many different
Arabic works and collections.

00:29:24 --> 00:29:33
			They convened a meeting, they went away, and they all came back. And in their subsequent meeting,
all of them independently

00:29:34 --> 00:29:44
			came to the conclusion. And in that meeting, they all agreed that the single best work of anthology
of Arabic literature is the work of

00:29:47 --> 00:29:57
			and these were all Arab scholars and men of letters. So they all went away study and then they all
came back and they agreed that the best collection of Arabic literature

00:29:58 --> 00:29:59
			as an anthology is

00:30:01 --> 00:30:04
			The middle of

00:30:05 --> 00:30:05
			nowhere

00:30:07 --> 00:30:22
			and say that we'll have some alien literally what he did is that over the 14 centuries, he took
selections from Arabic works as examples of the beauty, and the power and the force and eloquence of
Arabic.

00:30:23 --> 00:31:16
			And in the earlier parts of the book from the Hadees, he has taken the heavy thought on woman in a
shot of the law of evil if which we studied last. And he has also taken the hadith of gamma when the
monocle be alive. And not only that, but he refers to it's in his introduction. And he explained so
from the best anthology of Arabic literature, he provides this as a supreme example of the beauty
and the force and elephants and the power of the Arabic language. And he explains how caberg nomadic
or the allotment in this beautiful Hadees is able to capture and encapsulate and deliver in such
potent words, his emotions, thoughts and feelings, all, as a description of that verse of the court

00:31:16 --> 00:31:30
			and in which law sees the earth become narrow and constricted for them, despite its vastness, and
have their own souls became constricted for them, and that they were convinced that there is no
refuge from Allah except and

00:31:31 --> 00:31:59
			so, this, this Hadeeth for those who are able to appreciate the language and the Arabic, this hadith
is not just simply a hadith and mojari it's actually a beautiful example, a supreme example of
Arabic prose from one of the poets of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gamma monocle the law
and this is why this is one of the reasons why I've chosen this heavy flout inshallah we'll begin
but before we

00:32:01 --> 00:32:12
			Well, let's begin ladies love Nana Rahim Allah and Ganga nomadic and Nadia la related from Captain
America The law relates to the with an uninterrupted chain from myself

00:32:14 --> 00:32:18
			to law, he had a release from Captain America The alarm that he said

00:32:20 --> 00:32:22
			the law is a law it was summoned to hospital.

00:32:24 --> 00:32:24
			I

00:32:25 --> 00:32:26
			never

00:32:28 --> 00:32:35
			remained behind some messenger of a loss of the law, it was seldom in any expedition

00:32:37 --> 00:32:38
			that he

00:32:39 --> 00:32:40
			marched in,

00:32:41 --> 00:32:42
			in the hospital.

00:32:44 --> 00:32:46
			Except the expedition of

00:32:50 --> 00:33:07
			this whole story is ultimately about the ball. So let me give an introduction to the topic of the
walk. And this is what's referred to in the verse of the Quran as well when Allah says feast for
those who obeyed the messenger in the hour of difficulty.

00:33:10 --> 00:33:12
			It was the ninth year of his

00:33:14 --> 00:33:15
			Makkah

00:33:17 --> 00:33:22
			had been conquered just under a year before.

00:33:23 --> 00:33:26
			It was a month of Russia in the ninth year of hedgehog.

00:33:32 --> 00:33:34
			province the love it for some of them,

00:33:35 --> 00:33:36
			was now

00:33:37 --> 00:33:38
			immensely powerful.

00:33:39 --> 00:33:51
			Makkah had capitulated. Many of the tribes surrounding the Vienna and Makkah had also capitulated
and came and paid homage to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and entered into the fold of
Islam.

00:33:53 --> 00:33:59
			Unfortunately, however, because of the stirrings in the depth of Arabia,

00:34:03 --> 00:34:09
			the immensely powerful superpower of the time,

00:34:11 --> 00:34:22
			one of the two superpowers, the Eastern Roman Empire, the Byzantine Roman Empire, lying to the north
west of Arabia,

00:34:23 --> 00:34:27
			the Eastern Roman Empire and the Byzantines, they became

00:34:29 --> 00:34:38
			concerned of the stirrings of Arabia, and the matter of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and
the early Muslims concern them.

00:34:41 --> 00:34:43
			And there was now a constant threat

00:34:45 --> 00:34:46
			to the Muslims of Medina

00:34:48 --> 00:34:49
			from this court

00:34:50 --> 00:34:54
			in fact, this threat was so serious that

00:34:57 --> 00:34:59
			the alarm mentioned in

00:35:00 --> 00:35:15
			A very long Hadeeth that we remained in constant fear that the Pakistani Arabs would invade Medina.
Now whoever the sun is Arabs.

00:35:18 --> 00:35:24
			The Eastern Roman Empire had its capital in Constantinople, modern day Istanbul

00:35:28 --> 00:35:30
			and towards the south of

00:35:31 --> 00:35:35
			Constantinople, especially in Anatolia,

00:35:36 --> 00:35:40
			in modern day, Syria and Jordan, and the Levant.

00:35:42 --> 00:35:46
			This whole area, the Levant, and modern day Syria and Jordan, and also

00:35:47 --> 00:35:54
			the whole of Iraq as well. This whole area was inhabited by the now that nomadic Arabs.

00:35:56 --> 00:35:59
			These were the northern extreme northern Arabs.

00:36:00 --> 00:36:05
			And towards the Northwest, the most powerful of these northern Arabs were the banal Hassan.

00:36:08 --> 00:36:42
			Now, the Byzantine Romans, they use these wild Bedouin Arabs as vassals, they use them as soldiers
with their independent kingdom, but the whole kingdom ultimately was a vassal of the Roman states.
And they use these Arabs as a buffer zone between them, and the wild Arabs, as they regarded them of
Central Arabia. So these northern Arabs, extreme northern Arabs, some of them were allied to

00:36:44 --> 00:37:30
			the Byzantine Romans, especially towards the north west, and the Arabs to the north, east, and the
east of Arabia. They were allied to the society, Persian Empire. So you have two superpowers of the
time the sunny Persian Empire, towards the northeast and the East and the Byzantine Roman Empire to
the northwest. Neither of these superpowers ever made a direct claim or ruled over Arabia. But they
both had a number of vast Well, they both had vassal Arab states. And the Byzantine Romans had the
Arab state, which was its client, vassal state.

00:37:31 --> 00:37:47
			And they were Christian, with assigning Arabs were predominantly if not entirely Christian, just
like that. And the society, Persian Empire had the bottom left. The left means who were who were the
most powerful

00:37:49 --> 00:37:55
			alliance of tribes in the east and the Northeast, and they were the vassals and the client states of
the Persians.

00:37:58 --> 00:38:23
			So they acted as a buffer zone, and they were the clients of these two superpowers. Whenever they
fought, these vassal states fought with them. So in fact, before the arrival of Islam, the two
superpowers, the Byzantine Roman Empire and the society Persian Empire had engaged in a very long,
debilitating conflict lasting generations.

00:38:24 --> 00:38:51
			And in most of those conflicts, the Byzantines fought the Sani Persians. And the blue Hassan was a
sign of Arabs being Roman vassals, fought alongside them against the left needs, who were the
sassanid Persian vassals. These details are important because this is what's referred to in the
heavy, so whenever the Muslims eventually faced

00:38:52 --> 00:39:04
			a threat from the Byzantine Romans, or they actually faced them in battle, they faced not only the
Byzantine Roman army, but also the Hasani darus.

00:39:05 --> 00:39:35
			And before the Byzantine Roman army, the buffer zone was occupied by the assignee of Arabs. So more
often in the Hadeeth, you find a reference to the assignee narratives. Similarly, when the Muslims
eventually fought against the Persians, they fought with them, they fought the Ottomans. And in
fact, before they fought the Persians, they fought the locknuts, the vassal state of the Persians.
So So even though the law says that we feared an invasion by the

00:39:37 --> 00:39:41
			by the Arabs, and this invasion was such a major threat,

00:39:42 --> 00:39:44
			and rather than assigning Arabs, where

00:39:46 --> 00:39:59
			they were unlike the Bedouin tribes of Central Arabia, because they were a vassal state of the
Romans, they enjoyed a lot of their wealth they, they occupied the fertile region of the Fertile
Crescent

00:40:00 --> 00:40:42
			In the Levant and Syria and Jordan, they had the alliance of the Byzantine Roman army. They had
their weapons, their armor, their training, their strategies, except their strategy, etc. As a
result of which they were much more disciplined and organized and had a much larger force than the
any of the Arab tribes could muster from Central Arabia. So their threats was a very serious threat.
On one occasion and see the nominee will have borrowed the alarm Who says I had a brother from
amongst the I'm sorry, I was a tongue. And late at night, he came pounding on my door. So I said,
Who is that and he identified himself. This was the brother that the Prophet some of the love it was

00:40:42 --> 00:41:27
			some of them had made of, say, the barber of the Allah and the beginning after the hedger, the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did Maha mean, he established brotherhood between the emigrants
and the unsolved. And so one, I'm sorry, became a competitor. Well, one Mahajan became an
competitor, a brother of one of the law. So this was the companion whom the profits of the law
enforcement selected to be the Companion of the brother of Barbara the alarm. She says it my brother
from the inside came pounding on my door, late at night. So I said to him, Who is it, he identified
himself? And he said, open the door. Some things happened. So I said to him, what have the Beluga

00:41:27 --> 00:41:44
			sun invaded. So this shows that this was a constant and persistent threat on the minds of the
companions that have the alarm, that if ever there was an alert or a warning, then their first
thought was that the ban was a sign of invaded Medina.

00:41:46 --> 00:42:02
			And one of the reasons for Balu Hassan invading Medina is that the hypocrites in Medina and the
enemies of the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, they were now becoming very desperate, because
over the years,

00:42:03 --> 00:42:05
			gradually, every threat

00:42:06 --> 00:42:10
			against the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had been neutralized.

00:42:12 --> 00:42:21
			in Makkah, last panel Adana, despite all the difficulties, and the hardships, and the murder and the
torture and the persecution.

00:42:23 --> 00:42:26
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the Muslim survived.

00:42:27 --> 00:42:28
			And he did Hitler

00:42:30 --> 00:42:31
			and after the Hitler,

00:42:32 --> 00:42:40
			again, this was a fledgling community, surrounded by enemies in the city of Medina.

00:42:41 --> 00:43:17
			Gradually bits by bits, stage by stage, the threats within the city of Medina who neutralized the
threats around the city of Medina who neutralized on each occasion, the hypocrites and the enemies
tried every method to bring Islam to an end and to crush this early movement, and to exterminate the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and his band of followers once and for all. This was the
reasoning in the Battle of pirate. This was the reasoning in the fifth year of Hitler in the battle
and the campaign of the trench.

00:43:19 --> 00:43:33
			Then, gradually after the Prophet some of the love it was some kind of conquered Makkah, the
hypocrites in Medina when are becoming extremely desperate. One of them was, he wasn't hypocrites,
but initially, he was someone called a war

00:43:35 --> 00:44:00
			of war army opposed the messenger some of the law it some of them, he was actually a monk who lived
in Medina, and he was a man of great status and position and influence and power, a man of learning.
So he was an Arab who had embraced Christianity and become a monk. When the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wasallam arrived in Medina he opposed the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam invited him to
slam and spoke

00:44:01 --> 00:44:13
			to him, but he was very rude and refused to acknowledge the messenger Salalah it was Sunday. He then
left Medina who discussed he then went to MCC, and

00:44:15 --> 00:44:21
			rounds the Moroccans against the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the Muslims. When

00:44:22 --> 00:44:52
			the Quraysh were eventually defeated, this Abram era he made his way to Byzantine run. And then he
began to agitate the dishonored Arabs and the Romans against the Prophet, some of the love or some
of them close and as the hypocrites became more and more desperate, since all their strategies were
failing, eventually, in the ninth year of hedra, after the conquest of Makkah, they became so
desperate that we

00:44:53 --> 00:44:59
			managed to convince the Byzantine Romans to prepare

00:45:00 --> 00:45:36
			To launch an attack against Muslims, and in preparation for that he sent word to Medina, saying to
them that build a machine that will serve as headquarters for us in the city on the outskirts near
Mr. De Oba. So his hypocrite followers agreed, they established a machine. This is known as mustard
there are, which law refers to in sort of the boba gang. Well, Athena duck or mustard on there are
omaka from what the free mean, when you saw the limit of the law, what a pseudo mean, what do you
mean?

00:45:37 --> 00:46:20
			Well, love, you should have no luck. It won't be here, but they built this machine. And then they
came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam a whole band of hypocrites. And they said to him or
messenger of Allah, will you come and consecrate prayer in the masjid and bless it for us. So not
only did they build a mystery, but nefarious intentions, but they so surreptitiously decided to
deceive the messenger some of the lighting was on them and stamp his authority on the machine by
inviting him to pray solarflare in, but this was just before the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam
was about to embark on this campaign of the walk. So he said to them, I'm on the verge of traveling,

00:46:20 --> 00:46:23
			I will come to the masjid and pray there and on my return.

00:46:25 --> 00:46:31
			On his return from the book, when he was close to Medina, Allah has the will reveal these verses of
the Quran.

00:46:32 --> 00:46:42
			And the verses say, and those who built a machine will have enough data to master them there are
with the intention of harming

00:46:44 --> 00:46:47
			and with in unbelief.

00:46:49 --> 00:46:54
			What the free car with a view to dividing and creating, sowing division amongst the people

00:46:56 --> 00:47:07
			being the nominee in amongst the believers, what you saw them live in horrible law, what I saw, and
as a place of lurking and ambush for those who have fought and battled against lambs messenger.

00:47:11 --> 00:47:21
			And they will swear that we only meant good What do you mean that in the listener, they will most
assuredly swear and take oaths, that we only meant good.

00:47:23 --> 00:47:28
			And Allah bears testimony that they are surely liars law

00:47:29 --> 00:47:33
			Do not ever stand there. So

00:47:34 --> 00:48:18
			this was known as the masjid of there are and this panel that they actually built a machine with a
view of making that mission to garrison and UN headquarters as the headquarters to store weapons and
to collect and to create himself division and eventually to launch an attack from within the city
against Muslims when the Byzantine Romans would arrive. So this will an era have also played an
instrumental part in convincing the Byzantine Romans to launch an attack and they were already
concerned about the Muslims. So the Muslims were also fearful that the Byzantine Romans would launch
an attack and they and a year before the prot in the eighth year of Hitler, the province of the law,

00:48:18 --> 00:48:20
			it was already sent an expedition

00:48:24 --> 00:49:10
			towards the north, and that came to be known as a husband moved the campaign of mortar where they
actually fought a battle facing overwhelming numbers. And the all three commanders of the prophets,
a lot of them were killed. And Cardinal will either the alarm took command and made a strategic
retreat and save the Muslim army and brought them back to Medina. That was a year before. I
discussed the husband water two three years ago as part of the heavy so on this occasion, man, the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam realizing that the threat was growing more and more intense, he
decided to launch he decided to engage the Byzantine Romans and then assign it allies in the present

00:49:10 --> 00:49:54
			as a pre emptive measure. So he made an announcement to the believers that I will be marching to the
north to face the Byzantine Romans and mega slanted allies, and he summoned the believers to join
him into system profits. The law was summoned men who summoned support he summoned, he invited them
to give in charity, and the Muslims began to make preparations tribes came from out of the city and
joined the Muslims. Eventually, when the Muslims left, they numbered more to more than 30,000. So
how about all the A lot of them who in the month of Rajan in the ninth year of Hydra march from
Medina Applause Now

00:49:56 --> 00:49:57
			the

00:49:58 --> 00:50:00
			Masonic Arabs occupy

00:50:00 --> 00:50:17
			Modern day Jordan, Syria. And that is a fair distance from the city of Medina to travel in that,
through travel to make that journey to travel in the heat of Arabia, in the desert across

00:50:19 --> 00:50:21
			this empty rocky

00:50:22 --> 00:50:29
			desert was a very long and arduous journey, and The very thought of it was enough to put off people.

00:50:30 --> 00:51:14
			As a result, the hypocrites again in their desperation, they did not want the Muslims and the
prophets of Allah it was for them to leave the city of Medina and to engage in this preemptive
strike against the Byzantine Romans and that assignee danos. So they tried their utmost to dissuade
the Muslims from joining the province to lie to them, they would have meetings, they would go in
groups and can try to convince the Sahaba of the alarm, not to march with them not to march with the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam they would themselves make all manner of excuses and they were
trying to dissuade the habit of the alarm la quote, some of their words and their statements and

00:51:14 --> 00:51:42
			their pleas and their excuses and I've got one of them is they've told the others Latin futile
philhealth do not go out and do not March out in the heat. Sort of last season sort of boba
immediately thereafter, they say Latin fiddle, Phil How do not March out and the heat will narrow
down no matter how low can we say that the fire of gentlemen is even more intensive exceeds, if only
if but they understood.

00:51:44 --> 00:51:46
			Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:51:48 --> 00:52:36
			told us how about your loved one, to donate their wealth on that occasion, when he made the
announcement, so your family your loved one, came to him with 1000 dinar sovereigns of gold, and
placed them in the lap of Allah alayhi salatu was Salam prophets Allah love it alayhi wa sallam
received in another Hadith mentioned that. On another occasion, in that same period, Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam made an announcement on the member who was standing on the member, he
made an announcement, and he said, who will donate in the way of a law firm with the alarm stood up
and said O Messenger of Allah, I take the responsibility of 100 fully loaded and prepared camels

00:52:36 --> 00:52:39
			with their blankets and their saddles.

00:52:42 --> 00:52:46
			Then the Prophet Sall Allahu alayhi wa sallam made another announcement.

00:52:47 --> 00:53:05
			And now he stepped down one step of the Member of Parliament, I found that the alarm stood up again,
and said, O Messenger of Allah, one more 100 camels from me fully laden and loaded with their
saddles and blankets, profits, a lot of it was one of them steps another

00:53:06 --> 00:53:18
			step down another step of the member. He made another announcement again, or one of my family alarm
stood up and said, O Messenger of Allah, a further 100 camels on

00:53:20 --> 00:53:59
			a my name, fully laden and prepared but their saddles and their blankets, when he brought his number
two 300 and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was descending from the member. The words of the
Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam marveling at the charity of smile, have fun with
your loved one, he began motioning with his hands in that manner, that, as we say, wow. So he began
motioning with his hands, and explaining in amazement, and then he actually said the words mouth,
murmur, mouth, smile, man, man in the back of the article young. That's

00:54:01 --> 00:54:04
			what it was man does after this day will not harm him.

00:54:06 --> 00:54:42
			And when he went and gave 100 Gold sovereigns, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam explained our
law, I am pleased with ceman you'll be pleased with him also. I've got a family now for the alarm
went to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, instead of messenger of Allah. I have brought half
of my wealth, but other half I have left for my family, and I have brought you in one duration is
mentioned that he says, I have 8000 goals, sufferings 4000 I have left for my family and 4000 I have
given to you in the way of law. The hypocrites will watch.

00:54:43 --> 00:54:59
			Another companion arrived. He was not wealthy. So he worked hard in moderation all night long. And
as as a reward for his hard labor, he was given two sets of dates.

00:55:00 --> 00:55:11
			That's approximately seven kilograms of dates after working all night long and laboring, so he
brought one slap to the messenger sort of the law it was.

00:55:12 --> 00:55:36
			And he said, a messenger of Allah, this is all I can afford. I worked hard. I have left one side for
my family. That's equivalent 3.5 kilograms. And I give you the other one, sir. This is my
contribution in the way of Allah. The hypocrites were watching him as well. When Abdul Malik now for
the love and brought 4000 Gold sovereigns. That was a huge amount. The hypocrites said,

00:55:37 --> 00:55:40
			alcoholic romantic now Mila wishes to show off with this channel.

00:55:41 --> 00:55:56
			And when this other hobby it'll be a lover and brought one Sir 3.5 kilograms of dates, not
sovereigns days. The same hypocrite said what need does a lot have have this one set of dates.

00:55:58 --> 00:55:59
			So

00:56:02 --> 00:56:07
			Allah subhanho wa Taala revealed a verse of the Quran and Athenian resuming the way in

00:56:08 --> 00:56:12
			the art will love you and allow you to do and enlarge the home for you.

00:56:13 --> 00:56:21
			alarm and leave those with tongs and jeer at those who donate from amongst the believers

00:56:23 --> 00:56:24
			giving in charity

00:56:26 --> 00:56:34
			and those who taunt the others who do not find anything to give except the fruits of their labor

00:56:35 --> 00:56:48
			is Corona milk. They mock them socket, alarm and alarm box them with a demon for them as a painful
punishment. stuffing them all after stuffing them in the stuffing

00:56:49 --> 00:57:33
			from La la, see forgiveness on their behalf or do not seek forgiveness on their behalf of the
Messenger of Allah. Even if you seek forgiveness on their behalf seven times Allah will never
forgive them. They were the hypocrites. These are them on our own. So they were very desperate. They
resorted to rumor mongering to jibes to tours to dissuasion to discouragement to fear mongering in
order to prevent the Sahaba of the alarm from leaving muddy. Eventually, the Sahaba of the alarm
left with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, there were those who lagged behind who were who
had not completed their preparations. Some of them lag behind there were the stragglers, they

00:57:33 --> 00:57:47
			eventually joined the prophets of Allah it was some of them, some of them didn't. Others came
beforehand to the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and said to him, O Messenger of
Allah, we wish to come, but we are unable to come.

00:57:48 --> 00:58:03
			So clear because of their disability, or inability, whatever the case, they were sincere, they were
truthful. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam accepted their excuse, and grant them
permission to remain behind.

00:58:05 --> 00:58:11
			One group of so how about have the alarm and who came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
said to him on messenger of Allah,

00:58:12 --> 00:58:26
			we wish to come with you. Well, we are we have no transport, or messenger of Allah. If you can
provide any transport for us, then we will join the prophets of Allah alayhi wa sallam said, I have
no transport to give you.

00:58:28 --> 00:58:30
			So they turned away,

00:58:33 --> 00:59:02
			crying, weeping, all of them this whole group, when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, I
have no transport to offer you to join me. They turned away. As they turned away, they all began
shedding tears. A lot actually mentioned them in the the one low wire to feed them in a dimmer has
an allergy to the mind own, they turn away, whilst tears roll from their eyes out of grief and
sorrow that they cannot find anything to spend in the way of the law.

00:59:03 --> 00:59:54
			When they went away, one of them retired to his home at night. And he performed Salah, and after
Salah he raised his hands, and he prayed to Allah saying, Oh Allah, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam has invited us to join him, and I wish to join him. But I lacked means and resources, unable
to join him, or law. I wish to offer some charity, but I have nothing to give any charity. So here I
made my declaration to you, any Muslim who has wronged me in any way in my body, in my wealth, or
even in relation to my honor and dignity? Who has wronged me? And now I have a right over him or
law. I forgive every Muslim who has wronged me and this I made my charity.

00:59:55 --> 00:59:59
			The next morning, when he joined the Prophet civil alarm, I think was one of them.

01:00:00 --> 01:00:05
			The next day, the law It was announced in the gathering. He said

01:00:08 --> 01:00:11
			he who gave Southern last night's rise,

01:00:12 --> 01:00:13
			no one stood up.

01:00:14 --> 01:00:19
			Again he, he announced, he who gave charity yesterday rise.

01:00:21 --> 01:00:33
			So then this, the alarm stood up and said O Messenger of Allah, I offered charity Yes, last night.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, well received the glad tidings that Allah has accepted
your supper.

01:00:35 --> 01:01:18
			So this was one of those who could not find any transport to join us or less than the law it will
send them. This is why this is known as free sanity. In fact, this whole campaign later came to be
known as the husband double because when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam March, he did not
intend to travel to the moon. He just intended to travel north to meet the assignee of Arabs and the
Byzantine roles, wherever they would meet, he eventually stopped and camped at the wall for a number
of days and then returned. So that was the extent of his journey. This is why subsequently this
whole campaign came to be known as a puzzle with the ball, the expedition of the walk. But another

01:01:18 --> 01:01:19
			name of this it has what is

01:01:21 --> 01:01:33
			the expedition of distress and difficulty? Because indeed this How about the law and could not find
much whatever resources and means they had, they had to divide between more than 30,000. How about
the law?

01:01:35 --> 01:01:36
			And

01:01:37 --> 01:01:53
			we may say that there were 30,000. But the reports they were receiving of the number of Byzantine
forces, were in excess, that the number of the Byzantine forces was actually in excess of 100,005,
in excess of 100,000.

01:01:54 --> 01:02:36
			On the journey, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam in the habit of the love and when they left
on that journey, things were so difficult that some of us How about the alarm, who say, we would
share a date between two people. And the manner of sharing the date was that one date was shared
between two one would take the date and not bite it, but merely suck, suck the date, and then drink
a sip of water, and then he would give it to the next companion, he would suck the date and drink
water, he would return the date. He wouldn't bind to to immediately suck on the date, and he would
drink a bit of water. Eventually, even their water ran out. Someone saw that the camels that they

01:02:36 --> 01:02:43
			were riding, they slaughtered the camels in order to drink the moisture from the intestines and the
innards of the camels.

01:02:44 --> 01:02:57
			This is why even Allah describes this expedition as FISA to Lhasa in the hour of difficulty in our
distress. So whilst the Messenger of Allah was traveling in that manner,

01:02:59 --> 01:03:00
			some remained behind.

01:03:02 --> 01:03:06
			Eventually, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam marched the walk.

01:03:07 --> 01:03:53
			He didn't intend to go to the walk, but it was a journey towards the north. And he stopped at the
place called the walk. The walk is approximately about if you were to calculate 2.2 points about 330
miles, but you have to actually travel and go from a route and through the land route. It's about
430 miles. But do you remember this? How about the love or the hypocrites had no idea that he was
merely he was going to stop the book, all they knew is that he's going to march northwards through
the deserts. And they said the goal was just to go on such a journey. So a number of people remain
behind in Medina, whilst Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was with the companions experiencing

01:03:53 --> 01:04:03
			this difficulty in this distress, those who remain behind I'll speak about them later. He eventually
stopped at the walk. And

01:04:04 --> 01:04:07
			it was approximately a 15 day March.

01:04:08 --> 01:04:11
			And having stopped at the walk,

01:04:12 --> 01:04:17
			he realized that his spot his profits, a lot of it was from scouts.

01:04:18 --> 01:04:38
			When perhaps we recognize, and they came back with reports that the enemy is nowhere to be seen. So
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam decided not to press any further, and he kept there camping
in the walk. The walk is near the it's in the northwestern corner of the Arabian Peninsula, very
close to the modern day,

01:04:39 --> 01:04:59
			Jordan border and close to the Gulf of Africa, so that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam can
when he can't there, many of the powerful tribes from the surrounding region, came and paid homage
to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and entered into either an alliance or

01:05:00 --> 01:05:09
			to sign the pact and the treaty with him, of paying homage to him and recognizing his authority,
even though some of them did not embrace Islam.

01:05:10 --> 01:05:15
			For instance, the chief of ala which is acaba, the city of acaba,

01:05:16 --> 01:05:50
			that was known as ala, the chief of ala was a Christian whose name was john yohanna. He came he was
an Arab, you have now he came and paid homage to the province and the love it and some of them,
signed a treaty with him and so did many of the other surrounding tribes. And then having camped
there for approximately 15 to 20 days, the province of La highly hosted them, which began his return
journey to Medina. And he arrived in the month of Ramadan. So he had left in Russia, the whole of
Shabbat, was spent part of the whole shebang. And then parts of Rama bomb

01:05:51 --> 01:05:59
			was spent on the journey and then eventually, he returned into the city of Medina in the month of
Ramadan, so approximately 50 days.

01:06:00 --> 01:06:06
			So this was the campaign of the walk. This is just a summary, I've left out many of the details

01:06:10 --> 01:06:15
			of nomadic robiola and despite being a sincere believer of

01:06:16 --> 01:06:29
			his failure to prepare, hurriedly enough, and because of his procrastination, and his unnecessary
delay, he missed the opportunity to join the prophets of Allah Haile was

01:06:30 --> 01:06:54
			among the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam returned on the journey. A lot told them about those
who failed to join the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. The opportunity of the book was a real
test of Eman and the fall of belief and hypocrisy. Many of us have the alarm, I would say that's
sort of

01:06:55 --> 01:07:17
			one of the last students to be revealed to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam much of sort of
the Toba has revealed before, during and after the campaign of the walk. And in the surah, the
hypocrites were exposed and a lot condemned them in certain terms,

01:07:18 --> 01:07:19
			very categorically,

01:07:20 --> 01:07:26
			Allah describes them in sort of the other side of the line who say that the sort of the boba

01:07:28 --> 01:07:32
			disgrace the hypocrites, some sort of that they were unable to show their faces.

01:07:34 --> 01:07:42
			When the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam returned he was told by Allah on the journey, yeah
COVID on illegal without a jab at him.

01:07:45 --> 01:07:49
			They will come to you to offer their excuses or messenger of Allah when you return to them.

01:07:51 --> 01:07:57
			And that's exactly what happened. When the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam returned to Medina,

01:07:58 --> 01:07:59
			the hypocrites came.

01:08:02 --> 01:08:06
			There are approximately 100 of hypocrites who remain behind.

01:08:07 --> 01:08:11
			They came to him and they began to offer their excuses.

01:08:12 --> 01:08:23
			What did the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam do our sense of this topic again? During the
Hadith, Allah had already told him and forewarned him. Yeah, cuz they're all naked without him. When
you return,

01:08:25 --> 01:08:32
			they will come to you. And they will plead with you they will make their excuses.

01:08:33 --> 01:08:36
			So when they did come here to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam treat them.

01:08:39 --> 01:08:58
			In fact, before the gin, some of the hypocrites did have decided to play a clever one. So they said,
We don't wish to go anyway. But why do we wish to draw attention to ourselves? Let's falsely go to
Mohammed and tell him that we have our reasons that we are unable to go.

01:09:00 --> 01:09:01
			So

01:09:02 --> 01:09:10
			if He grants us permission to remain behind, then we've got his authority. And even if he refuses,
we still don't go.

01:09:11 --> 01:09:21
			So some of them went to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam made excuses. Prophet salaallah
alayhi wa sallam said, Okay, so Allah subhanho wa Taala actually chided him, If Allah

01:09:30 --> 01:09:31
			May Allah

01:09:33 --> 01:09:36
			excuse you, a messenger of Allah, why did you give them permission?

01:09:38 --> 01:09:58
			Why didn't you wait until the truth would have been without the can manifest to you? Ie, if you
didn't say anything to them, then these hypocrites would still not have left with you. And then
their hypocrisy would have become manifest. So after the province of the love it for some returned,
some of them came they made their excuses

01:10:00 --> 01:10:15
			And this is the way the Messenger of Allah and Allah dealt with the hypocrites, hypocrites came.
They lied through their teeth. They made all manner of false excuses. Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam

01:10:16 --> 01:10:17
			accepted whatever they said.

01:10:18 --> 01:10:34
			Whatever they said he did not debate with them. He didn't discuss with them. He didn't interrogate
them. They said whatever they want to, they lied. They made false excuses. Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam accepted whatever they said and let them come.

01:10:37 --> 01:10:45
			gamba nomadic robiola and he was one of the sea of believers who outside of his failure, was unable
to join the Messenger of Allah.

01:10:47 --> 01:10:54
			And see how Allah tested him. He was a sincere believer, and we've learned of his exploits in the
Battle of God

01:10:56 --> 01:10:57
			and His supporter, the Messenger of Allah.

01:10:59 --> 01:11:09
			So when he came, he sat before the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and we learn in
his own words. When the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam saw him.

01:11:10 --> 01:11:43
			He smiled, the smile of an angry purse. So he smiled at him. He was a strange smile, mixed with
emotion. The Prophet smile was one of love for gambling romantic, because it was a sincere follower.
But at the same time, he was immensely displeased with him. He was angered by him. He was hurt and
pained by him. So uncommon when the money came in sacks before him. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam smiled, the smile of an angry purse.

01:11:45 --> 01:11:50
			And then Calvin Malik made no excuse. He confessed.

01:11:51 --> 01:12:04
			Prophet salaallah alayhi wa sallam told him to go, he reserved judgment until Allah had declared and
pronounces judgment. And Allah didn't declare his judgment, Allah reserved judgment and defended
them at

01:12:05 --> 01:12:21
			the hypocrites, they were able to get away with one single word of a lie. A lie knew they were
lying. Of course, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam knew they will lie, they lie, save them in
this dunya but damned them in the US.

01:12:22 --> 01:12:44
			But the sincere believers, they spoke the truth, and they were tested severely, in such a way that
the earth despite its vastness became constricted and narrow for them, and their own souls became
restricted for and they were convinced that there is nowhere to flee on the face of the earth except

01:12:46 --> 01:12:59
			this is the difference between a man and the fall between truth and falsehood, between honesty and
dishonesty, between speaking the truth, veracity and lying, and between happen badly.

01:13:01 --> 01:13:14
			Another group, there was another group that repented. Ultimately there were four groups when it came
to the campaign of the walk. And the law describes all four groups and sort of the thought that

01:13:16 --> 01:13:30
			I read the verses. I'll translate them, but I'll leave the explanation. And the beginning of the
next week and Sharma. The four groups in relation to the campaign of the wolf were as follows The
first group,

01:13:32 --> 01:13:36
			a lot scribes and sort of boba was serving on a one on one a minimal hygiene

01:13:38 --> 01:13:41
			well enough to bring him the son of the law,

01:13:47 --> 01:13:49
			radical social anti

01:13:50 --> 01:13:51
			law signs

01:13:58 --> 01:14:02
			and those who were the first

01:14:05 --> 01:14:14
			and the preceding ones, the early and first and preceding ones of the immigrants and the assistance,
the Mahajan only amstar.

01:14:15 --> 01:14:24
			And those who followed them in a good way, Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with
Allah. Allah has prepared for them gardens beneath which river shall flow

01:14:26 --> 01:14:32
			then they shall remain for F. This is the great success.

01:14:34 --> 01:14:36
			Then last panelboard Allah mentions another

01:14:40 --> 01:14:41
			woman, Arab

01:14:43 --> 01:14:46
			woman in Medina, Mercado de la

01:14:48 --> 01:14:50
			Mora thing, Moore's

01:14:52 --> 01:14:54
			Law says and then there's another group

01:14:55 --> 01:14:56
			around you

01:14:59 --> 01:14:59
			those

01:15:00 --> 01:15:11
			Better than around you who are hypocrites from amongst the Bedouin women in Medina and from the
people of the city, murderer Adam nefab. They are obstinate.

01:15:12 --> 01:15:14
			They are persistent in their hypocrisy.

01:15:15 --> 01:15:20
			Laughter Adam, Adam, Adam, you know you do not know them we know

01:15:21 --> 01:15:23
			we shall punish them twice.

01:15:27 --> 01:15:29
			Then they shall be returned to an even severe punishment.

01:15:31 --> 01:15:34
			That's the second group, then the third group.

01:15:36 --> 01:15:51
			Last quarter and essays. There is a third group of eminent scientists that are senior as the last
one year to balagan. The third group was a group which had done which had mixed good deeds and bad
deeds.

01:15:52 --> 01:16:24
			It is possible that Allah will forgive them and wherever Assa is used in relation to Latin the
possible mean certainly so Allah will certainly forgive them. Who was his third group we know of the
inside of the Mahajan who joined the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. The second group, the
hypocrites who refuse to join him, the third group was third group, the ones who had mixed good
deeds and bad deeds. This third group was a group of those sincere believers who failed to join the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

01:16:25 --> 01:16:58
			However, they realize their mistake. So before the Prophet sallallahu, Alayhi, wasallam returned,
they were shameful of their failure and of their behavior. So what they did is that before the
return of the Messenger of Allah, they came to the machine, and they tied themselves to the pillars
of the machine in repentance. When the prophets alarm, it will send them into the machine and he saw
them he said, Who are these, even though the Sahaba of the alarm, I'm unknown to them, one of them
was of all Ababa or the alarm.

01:16:59 --> 01:17:24
			So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said Who are these and they said, a messenger of Allah.
These are the ones who fail to join you. And they have vowed to tie themselves in repentance until
you untie them yourself personally. So the prophets the love, it was seldom said I will do nothing
until Allah grants me permission. So he left them, then these verses of the Quran will reveal

01:17:27 --> 01:17:31
			that that is, while hieromartyr forbidden obey Him

01:17:34 --> 01:17:37
			and others who have confessed

01:17:38 --> 01:18:18
			to their sins, and who have mixed good deeds, righteous deeds and unrighteous deeds, it is possible
I'm certain that Allah will forgive them. So after the revelation of this verse, the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam went personally and untied this group of companions of the law. There
were just a handful, just a handful, very few, but they tied themselves to the pillars. Eventually,
after this verse was revealed profits in the law it was tied them, this was the third. So we had the
CM 100. On the inside who joined him. We had the hypocrites who remain behind and we even tried to
prevent and dissuade others. Then we have the sincere believers who out of their weakness and their

01:18:18 --> 01:18:39
			failure, fail to join the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam admitted and confessed to their guilt.
And even before the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam arrived, they tied themselves to the
pillars. Allah revealed verses of the Quran and forgave them, the prophets of Allah and he uses them
personally and tied them. Then there was a fourth group, his fourth group consisted only of three
people.

01:18:41 --> 01:18:52
			And who was his fourth group, alas, as well are Haruna murjani, amarilla, and others who were differ
whose maxa was deferred for the decree of Allah.

01:18:53 --> 01:19:09
			They were just like the third group in that they had failed to join the profit some of the library
some of them however, they did not make such a public declaration of their confession and their
repentance. And they didn't tie themselves. These three were GABA, pneumonic,

01:19:10 --> 01:19:12
			mania, and mirage.

01:19:13 --> 01:19:51
			The last three companions, they were just like the third group, but they didn't tie themselves. So
the third group was forgiven. These three the matter was deferred. And this is what gamma when the
moniker of the alarm, speaks off in the Hadith, and explained further about all three, all four of
these verses and these four groups, and we'll actually proceed with the headache of gathering the
medical the alarm in thorough detail, beginning from next week. And so far all I've done is just one
