Tonight,
we heard
the recite in.
We heard them
recite Surah Tia Sin.
A surah that we are all very
familiar with.
But sometimes
I presume that
being a non Arabic speaking community,
we maybe don't get so much time to
reflect on the meaning of what we are
reciting.
And out of this
entire Surah
and it's something that we also hear at
all our jannah is
when we have a janaza and
we pick up the mayot,
or we put him into the ground
and we say,
Hazamah
wa Adarrahman.
This is what the most merciful has promised.
It's guaranteed it's going to happen.
From it we have created you, and to
it
we shall return you, and from it we
shall raise you up
once again.
Says,
and to give you the
the number
of the verse, we're starting with verse 51,
52,
53, and 54.
Please take the time to go home and
look it up. Read through the translation and
reflect on it.
Do they not ponder over the Quran, or
are there locks on their hearts?
So Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala wants us to
ponder. He wants us to reflect
over his verses, over his signs.
Starts with verse number
51.
And the horn will be sounded.
Israfil alaihi salam,
the great archangel, the malak
of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala,
he is the one that has been designated
the task
of blowing the horn,
and the horn will be blown twice.
In
another verse in the holy Quran,
says,
says, and the horn will be sounded.
And everything will soon away.
To swoon away means
it will disappear
as if it was never there.
As if it never existed before.
That's how it will disappear. I mean can
you imagine?
When that horn is blown for the first
time,
Here Allah is speaking to who? He's speaking
to the
the Arabs of the desert.
He's using metaphors
that are easily understood by them in the
Arabic language.
We've revealed it as an Arabic Quran, so
you might make sense of it. So Allah
uses the metaphor of the scroll.
If you open up the scroll and you
release it, what happens?
It returns to its point of origin. Now
just as Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala began this
creation
with that, as they call it in the
scientific fraternity, the Big Bang, then the
perpetually expanding universe.
When the universe reaches critical mass by the
decree of Allah,
it won't be able to expand anymore. It
will retract and return to its point of
origin. They even given that a name
in the scientific fraternity. They call it the
Big Crunch.
But most certainly what will happen is that
everything will go back to its point of
origin.
That singularity,
0 volume, infinite density. And what will happen
in the process?
Allah!
The sun will be extinguished.
That sun that without it life would not
be sustainable on this planet Earth
has a core temperature of 5,000,000 degrees Celsius.
Allah will extinguish it just like that.
Allah will rip the heavens asunder
and the stars will be extinguished, everything will
be colliding into one another.
Going back to that,
Just like we began the creation for the
first time,
we will return it to its point of
origin, back to nothing.
Back
to nothing.
So this will be the sounding of the
the horn for the first time by
Everyone,
everything in the heavens and on earth
will disappear,
will perish, will be gone.
Everything
I'm not mincing my words here. And everyone.
Everyone
and everything. Nothing will be left.
Who will remain?
Who will remain?
Allah.
And the proof of that is,
Everyone
on it
or in it
will disappear,
will perish, will be destroyed.
And only Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will remain.
Everything
shall perish
except for the countenance,
except for
the eternally existing essence of Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala. So that's what will happen with
the blowing
of the horn for the first time by
Israfil.
Everything will be be destroyed.
And in fact,
as it comes in the Hadith,
what will happen on earth
is that Allah will
first send
a gentle
breeze.
A gentle breeze Allah will send.
Softer than silk.
Can you imagine that? A breeze?
Softer than silk.
And that breeze will take the souls of
all the believers.
That's why our beloved prophet sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam says,
The hour will not come
until there is not a single one left
on the earth saying,
Allah, Allah.
Or saying, la ilaha illallah. So Allah will
remove all the believers.
And
the most evil of creation will remain.
And it is on them
that the hour will be established
with the destruction of the heavens and the
earth
and everybody
running
as if they are intoxicated.
The day when you see it, every woman
giving suckling to her child will abandon that
child. And every woman carrying a child, and
a woman will miscarry that child, and you
will see mankind intoxicated.
Creation,
the disbelievers, the rejecters of faith in Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala after the believers have been
removed
from the dunya.
Right?
So then once everything has been destroyed and
only Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala remains. And we
know that
everything, even the balaikah,
they will also have to die.
In fact, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will say
to Balakkil Mote,
he will say to him,
take
the soul of Mikael
and take the soul of
Jibreel.
He will have to take the souls of
all the Malaika.
And if you take the soul even of
Israfil, who blew it for the first time.
Malik El Mote will have to take his
soul.
And then when all the souls have been
taken,
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will turn to Malek
El Mote and say, Mutya Malek El Mote.
Die o angel of death.
And it is narrated that Malekhil Mote, when
he experiences the throes of death,
he would have wished not to have taken
one single
soul. He would have wished for have not
to have taken one single soul if he
had the choice
because of the severity
of the throws of the saqqara remote.
And then everyone will be gone, and everything
will be gone,
and only Allah will remain.
And the time in between the two blowings,
The true
evaluation thereof,
the true value thereof, in terms of time,
only Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala knows. But then,
is Sarafil will be the first one that
will be raised,
and then he will have to sound the
horn for a second time.
The horn will be sounded, and everything will
soon away. Everything will be destroyed. Everything will
perish in the heavens and on earth, except
for that which Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala wishes
to remain.
And then it will be sounded again.
This will be the second blowing.
And they will all be standing up and
looking on.
Yes. You and I.
Each and every single one of us will
be standing there. On the new earth, because
everything was destroyed. Everyone was destroyed. So where
is the resurrection going to take place? On
a new earth?
Within new heavens.
As Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says in the
holy Quran,
Indeed, Allah is almighty most capable
of taking retribution.
The day when this Earth will be exchanged
for another Earth,
And the heavens will be exchanged for other
heavens.
And everybody will be brought out in front
of the one, the compeller.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. So in Surah you
are seeing,
Allah is
speaking about the second blowing.
And when the holy sounded,
then they will hasten out of their graves.
Al Ajadath. Al Ajadath Ayal Khubur.
They will hasten out of their graves.
In Surat
Ma'arij,
Like as if they were running to an
idol that had just been erected.
But
And they will say,
They will say, woe be to us. Who
has raised us up? Because they didn't believe
in the bath.
They didn't believe in the resurrection.
As Allah says, in, Surah Al Muthafim,
do they not think
that they're going to be resurrected
for a great day?
A day when they will all be standing
in front of their lord, Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala. All of mankind.
Every single human being will have to stand.
In the grandest courtroom.
In front of the highest judge Allah Subhanahu
wa ta'ala. I ask you by Allah. What
have you and I prepared for that day?
What have we prepared for that day?
And if we are going to enter into
a debate with Allah, then we're in trouble.
That's why in these last 10 nights of
Ramadan,
cry before Allah and beg Allah
for
You know what is? A light account.
Maybe use a few questions, maybe 10 questions.
You know? Or 15 questions or 20 questions.
What do you think?
Not one question.
We don't be asked any questions.
Because
in the hadith of Aisha Radiallahu
Alaihi Anha,
Whoever enters into a debate in that courtroom
with Allah,
question and answer, q and a,
will be punished by Allah.
Said
Aisha asked,
Does Allah not say, that the one who
receives their book in their right hands,
that they will be given a light account?
A light account. And they will return to
their families happy
with what they've achieved.
So you know what the prophet
said to her? Yeah, Aisha.
He said, oh Aisha. That is only a
presentation.
The light account,
the one who receives the scrolls in their
right hand,
their deeds will only be presented to them,
and then they will be entered into paradise
without any account,
without any debate. May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
make us of them.
This is what al Rahman has promised. This
is going to take place.
There's
no escape from it.
We're going to have to present ourselves in
that grandest courtroom
in front of the highest judge, Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala, on that day.
The messengers that have warned us, have all
spoken the truth.
Incarnate, in a, it has been nothing but
the second blowing of the horn.
And then they will all
be They will all be presented to Allah.
On that day, nobody will be wronged.
And nobody will get except what they have
what have we sent forward
for that day? What have we prepared
for that day? May Allah
make us of the.
Those that are sending forward.
Allah make us of those who truly develop
taqwa. This Allah consciousness that we really care
what Allah thinks of us, us. And we
care whether Allah is pleased or displeased with
us. Because that inshallah will help us to
send forward for tomorrow, that which is going
to benefit us.
The day when wealth and children will be
of no benefit, except for the one that
comes to Allah with a clean sound and
pure heart. May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala forgive
us in this month of Ramadan. Allah accept
from us all our deeds, and raise us
up on the day of your mukhiama.
In the shade of Allah,
the day when there is no shade except
his shade to be entered in the company
of our beloved prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.
