In the name of Allah, the most gracious,
the most merciful.
We will start, God willing, with a verse
Inna al-safa wa al-marwata min sha

I tell you to stop, you will stop,
God willing Just three verses, not many Inna

Hayyakumullahu ayyuhu wa ikhla wal akhawati wabayyakum barakallahu
feekum May Allah azawajal bless you brothers and
sisters and show his mercy upon all of
you Just a quick, brief, we need to
comment on, alhamdulillah This year we had Eid
before Ramadan Alhamdulillah Eid upon the Muslim Ummah
was before Ramadan because Syria got liberated and
that means it's Eid It's a yawmin ayyamillah
It's one of the days of Allah azawajal
and it is indeed Eid if you were
to talk about you know being, you know
the I won't say the abuse it's abuse
and beyond the torture and the persecution for
more than 40 years 54 years 54 years
Subhanallah you know and then alhamdulillah thumma alhamdulillah
you know Allahumma lakul hamd Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala you know with this breakthrough whoever
taught you know in a matter of 10
days alhamdulillah came al-fatah it's a sign
it's a sign it's a symbol it's a
message that it can be done yes we
can do it shukran ya ala' shukran lahum
ya ala' al-munadhilin ya'allimuna al-durus
fil hayah al-munadhiluna fi al-sham wa
fi al-falastin wa fi al-lubnan you
know they're teaching us lessons that don't give
up yes it can be done so those
who say it's impossible they're teaching us that
there's no such a thing as you know
impossible it is possible if Allah azawajal all
he has to say is be kun fayakun
so alhamdulillah we should be grateful and we
should rejoice yafrah al-mu'minuna binasri Allah so
let the believers rejoice with the nusrah of
Allah azawajal that Allah azawajal has given victories
to the Muslim alhamdulillah today or yesterday it
was al-sham tomorrow inshallah ta'ala al
-falastin and and and and Pakistan and and
and and and and
and
and and And Allah Azza wa Jal
turned them into idols so Quraysh and Arabs
you know to teach people about the you
know how to venerate the Kaaba and the
Masha'il Haram.
So they put these two idols one in
a Safa and the other one in a
Marwah to teach people lessons and came after
Islam came you know the Sahaba they wondered
whether they should be making Safa and Tawaf
because it's also called Tawaf by the way
you know when we say Tawaf around the
Kaaba and also the Sa'i between Safa
and Marwah is also called Tawaf.
So some people say but Shaykh Tawaf is
only around the Kaaba also called we can
say Tawaf between the two mounts between Safa
and Marwah as Allah subhana wa ta'ala
says in the Qur'an here this is
what we stopped last week, Allah says and
whoever does good voluntary which means voluntary work
but what does it mean here Allah is
shakir appreciative and alim and all knowledgeable subhana
wa ta'ala.
So some said one translation with regard to
At-Tatawu'a, Ya'ani Hajj ba'da Hajj
wa Umrah ba'da Umrah this is one of
the interpretations you know when Allah says here
whosoever does good what does good mean here
some translations or interpretation they said or Tafseers
it means when you do Hajj and then
you come back for another Hajj when you
do Umrah or you come back for another
Umrah it could be one translation or one
interpretation because the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.
says Tabi'u, Tabi'u bayna al-Hajj
wa al-Umrah fa inna huma yanfiyani al
-faqr wa al-dhunub kama yanfi al-qeeru
khubta al-hadeed.
The Prophet s.a.w. says keep doing
Hajj and Umrah continuously if you can, Tabi
'u bayna al-Hajj wa al-Umrah do
it continuously if you can one after another
if you can do it every year Alhamdulillah
do it every year.
For Allah s.w.t. says he says
for Allah s.w.t. prevent and remove
poverty to them.
Ya'ni this Umrah and Hajj doing them
continuously it there will be mean of the
prevention of poverty Subhanallah.
If you having difficulties financial difficulties think of
Umrah or think of Hajj fa inna huma
yanfiyani al-faqr wa al-dhunub they also
not just prevent the poverty but also remove
al-dhunub ya'ni sins.
There is another interpretation that says fa ma
tatawa khayran ayy al-tatawa bi al-amali
al-salih fi makkah methadan al-tatawa bi
al-amali al-salih fi makkah another interpretation
says with regard to doing good after the
Hajj or the Umrah to do some righteous
deed in Makkah such as sadaqah in Makkah
or more tawaf you know when you do
tawaf by the way when you do tawaf
when the Prophet Muhammad talks about the virtues
of tawaf for every step that you make
Allah s.w.t. will raise you one
rank in Jannah.
Allah s.w.t. will give you one
hasanah and will remove one siyah for every
step and the Prophet says with regard to
al-bayt man tawaf bi al-bayti sab
'a kana lahu bi itq walad min waladi
ismail.
The Prophet says whoever does tawaf seven times
the tawaf has to be seven times the
circumambulation around the Kaaba is always seven circuits
so whoever does that let's say you do
your Umrah and you finish and then you
just come and then let me I'm fine
I'm feeling energetic let's do some tawaf for
every tawaf you make seven circuits it will
be as if you're freeing a slave is
another you know it's another virtue of tawaf
so they says here فَمَا تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ
اللَّهَ شَاكِرًا عَلِيمًۭ so whoever does any voluntary
work there in Makkah شَاكِر على وَزْنِ فَاعِل
وَشَكُور على وَزْنِ فَعُول فَشَاكِر شَاكِر means he's
appreciative Allah he appreciates the action that you're
doing is one of his names الشَاكِر الشَكور
right what does it mean for Allah to
be شاكِر Allah thanks you subhanahu wa ta
'ala for that action that you're doing فَشَكَرَ
اللَّهُ لَهُ فَغَفَرَ لَهُ hadith the Prophet Muhammad
says there was some debris some glass something
on the way and then a man was
passing by so he removed the debris he
removed that harmful thing from the way شيء
يعني في الأرض كأنه شيء يؤذي الناس right
for this man walked by and he found
something harmful so he removed from the way
so the Prophet Muhammad says Allah عز و
جل recognize his work and he appreciates his
work فَغَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ and Allah forgave him
because of this small deed that he did
just what did he do he just removed
something harmful from the way sometimes we walk
and you find things on the way sometimes
you even ignore them why do you ignore
them if it's something harmful take it and
remove it from people's way from you know
it could be harmful for people so this
is this ajar in that شَكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ
he's all knowing subhanahu wa ta'ala nothing
escapes him subhanahu wa ta'ala and then
اللَّهُ يَلْعَنُهُمُ اللَّعِنُونَ this ayah was revealed upon
Bani Isra'il إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ so those
who hide their clear proofs they're hiding the
clear proofs I will explain and guidance that
we have revealed after we made it clear
for them in the book يعني in the
Torah they will be condemned by Allah and
condemned by all what does it mean so
the Jews at the time they had in
their Torah ayat verses about الحدود what is
حدود limits of Allah what is the punishment
of committing zina what is the punishment of
drinking alcohol what is the punishment of killing
they have that you know the حدود we
call it the حدود in the Torah they
had that so what happened they concealed they
withheld the truth depending on who's involved if
it's somebody from Bani Isra'il who's from
the elite they will hide the حكم the
ruling but if it's some layman or the
ruling is to be killed okay we have
to kill because of he committed this or
the punishment is to be whipped we will
have to give you you know lash you
and whatnot so there was this جارية from
من اليهود there was this woman from اليهود
she committed زنا زنات وهي امرأة محصنة there
is a difference between committing adultery for a
محصنة وامرأة غير محصنة what's the difference محصنة
is a woman who's married يعني she is
محصنة يعني chaste woman who's married and غير
محصنة she is not married يعني she is
virgin let's say right so the one like
the the example of that woman who committed
زنا and the prophet Muhammad he ruled that
they should be stoned to death very well
known story of the غامدية her name was
المرأة الغامدية because she was امرأة she's married
she's محصنة you know so but the ayah
that talks about in surah النور الزاني والزاني
فاجدوا كل واحد منهما تمانين جلده not married
so this is one in regard to المحصنة
so this woman she committed زنا and she
is محصنة so they came to the prophet
Muhammad عز وسلم they came he asked what
was the حكم of a woman who committed
زنا the prophet says the حكم is the
كتاب الله is in the quran and then
the yahood they came and he says no
no we have not this in our كتاب
we don't have the حكم in the كتاب
in our book in our Torah we don't
have the حكم so they were sitting with
the prophet and who was with the prophet
عبد الله بن سلم عبد الله بن سلم
was a jewish man who embraced islam so
the prophet says bring the Torah so they
brought the Torah they said okay read from
the ayat of الحدود read the ayah of
the of the حكم so they knew that
the prophet Muhammad was not able to read
he was illiterate so the man who was
reading and the prophet was looking but the
prophet does not know how to read so
he put his this man to hide the
ayah that talks about the حد that talks
about the the limit the punishment he hid
it and عبد الله بن سلم was there
behind he says why are you hiding it
remove your hand remove your hand the ayah
is there the clear proof is there he
talks about the punishment of woman who is
محصنة who committed زنا just like in the
quran in your book also in the Torah
it says she should be stoned to death
so this is the ayah was revealed الهدى
here means who rasulullah هدى they did not
believe in guidance the guidance of guidance of
the prophet محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم tell
them oh muhammad you're lying okay bring the
Torah and read your book read the Torah
because they came and says we don't have
this rule in our book we don't we
don't have it the prophets no no you
have the حكم in your book bring the
Torah and read it you will see the
book you will see the حكم right there
what happens when they conceal the حكم or
they conceal any علم it they will be
cursed from allah subhanahu wa ta'ala not
just the curse from allah the curse of
all who's اللَّعِنون here اللَّعِنون has
meanings اللَّعِنون could be all mankind not only
allah will curse them allah the angels uh
everybody and اللَّعِنون could also be even the
animals will curse them everything in this universe
will curse them اللَّعِنون look at the curse
that they're getting just because they are concealing
علم and this is why من هنا أخذنا
أنه من كتم علماً ألزمه الله يوم القيامة
this is very very dangerous especially to those
in islam whosoever conceals knowledge he will be
uh bridled uh with a brittle of fire
on the day of judgment you know uh
اللِّجَام اللِّجَام you know the the horse the
horse has a saddle and the horse has
that what we call a bridle like the
uh the thing that pulls the horse you
know that that leech right that pulls the
horse a man who withholds علم he has
علم and he does not convey it سبحان
الله he will be oh he's asked about
it and he knows it but he's not
conveying it he will be bridled by a
brittle of fire on the day of judgment
so is the importance of the امانة the
امانة of العلم right اِلَّا الَّذِينَ تَابُوا إِكْسَبْتُ
اللَّهَ عَزِيزُهُ جَلَّدًا puts an exception exception to
So there is here, la'na, but there
is also an exception.
What is this exception?
Except those who repent.
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ تَابُوا But not only just repent.
No, they have to repent.
وَأَصْلَحُوا وَبَيَّنُوا Here comes, as Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala says, as for those who repent,
mend their ways, أَصْلَحُوا Mend their ways, يعني
this stop.
They, not that just they make tawbah, they
make tawbah and also instead of, they know
that they're going on the crooked way, so
they have to mend their way.
Instead of being on the crooked way, I'm
gonna take the straight path.
So they have to mend their way.
And also, and let the truth be known.
So these are the conditions for the tawbah
to be accepted, for the
The conditions of a
alim, if he's withholding ilm, if he wants
to repent, he has to do three things.
Number one, he has to repent for the
ilm.
ياخي, somebody comes to a alim or shaykh,
but he has a position in a masjid,
or he has a position somewhere, and then
they ask him a question, and that question
could mean that he will lose his job.
I don't know, he may say.
What's the ruling of, you just give fatwa
to the director that it's okay to go
and get a house of riba.
Yeah, yeah, there is no problem.
So, he's going to lose his job or
whatever.
So, he knows the halal and haram, but
he's withholding the halal and haram.
So, number one, he has to make tawbah.
I'll just give an example.
Number one, he has to make tawbah.
He has to mend his way.
And instead of making that fatwa, I will
no longer make that fatwa again.
خَلَص, I make tawbah to Allah عَزَ وَ
جَلَّ And I will contradict, not myself, whatever
I used to say, I will go and
tell people, La, ya naz, this is haram.
Or this is actually halal.
This is the condition for the acceptance of
tawbah of a alim who knows the truth,
but he's not withholding the truth.
With regard to the tawbah, do you know
the tawbah of a layman?
Like anybody, some people, they commit some sins
and then they want to make tawbah to
Allah عَزَ وَ جَلَّ Our condition for repentance
to be accepted is four conditions.
Do you know what they are?
Four conditions.
Condition number one, repentance to Allah عَزَ وَ
جَلَّ That's number one.
Number two, الندم, the guilt.
Sometimes you ask someone, you know, who committed
something, he says, how do you feel when
you think of the sin which you committed?
Neutral.
Yeah, neutral.
It's not a good sign.
It's not a good sign.
Whereas another, someone, how do you feel?
Because she says, I think Allah will never
forgive me for what I have done.
So I said, did you kill someone?
No.
But Allah forgave the man who killed 100
lives, wouldn't He forgive you?
But she said, I've done something horrible, I
don't think Allah can forgive me.
Oh, okay.
So you're the one who killed Hamza, the
uncle of the Prophet.
You're the one.
No, I didn't kill nobody.
Allah forgave the man who killed Hamza.
He was the uncle of the Prophet.
He wouldn't forgive you?
Then I said, how do you feel when
you think of the crime which you have
or the sin which you have committed?
How do you feel?
She said, I feel sick in my stomach.
I said, that's a good sign that Allah
has already accepted your tawb.
So the feeling of remorse, of regret, because
there's some people who they, youth or whatever,
youth or not youth, they meet in one
another, they start laughing, talking about the past.
Hey, Allah, I did this.
Hey, Allah, I did that.
And I, hey, we were, you know, silly.
And I did this.
Remember?
Yeah, oh yeah, we did this and that.
And we went there, and you know, right?
Iftikharoon.
Yahi.
And all the youth here.
Allah Azza wa Jalla has forgiven you.
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has even, they
said, even the angels, you know, made them
forget that you've committed that sin.
Why I reminded those angels of your sin?
There's some shuyukh who do this.
Let me tell you so that you don't
do like me.
I was this.
And I was that.
And I did this.
And I did that.
Ya Rabbi, kastal ala nafsik.
Allah did not expose you.
Why are you exposing yourself, man?
I just want people to see what I
was doing in the past so they don't
do it.
Yeah, but don't expose yourself.
Mabarikum fee rajul.
Just say, a man did this, and a
man did that.
A man, a person, I know very personally,
I know him so close.
And he was this, and he was this.
And you don't have to expose yourself.
illa al-mujahideen hadu liyajaroon istaghfirullah I know,
yaani, but sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
Yeah.
So, that's number two, sah?
Yes.
What's number three?
Not doing it again.
Not to do it again.
You have to commit that you will never
come back and to commit that sin again.
But some people do tawbah and they have
the intention that if it comes, I'm going
to do it again.
Even if it comes again.
Ya Rabbi, don't make her come my way
because if she comes my way, I'm going
to have to, I'm just, I'm weak, man.
I'm weak.
Tayyib, you're weak, yakhi.
Why you, laa tatamannau liqaa al-adoo.
Why are you doing this?
So, not only you make tawbah, you have
to have the remorse in your heart.
And number two, the persistence that you're not
going to do it again, inshallah.
Ya Rabbi, I'm not.
If I fell into it, may Allah forbid,
khalas, renew your tawbah again.
Such as, not waking up for fajr.
Ya Rabbi, I know I miss it.
Khalas, Ya Rabbi, I'm going to commit to
wake up for fajr.
I'm going to commit to come to the
masjid and pray fajr, you know.
And then you've been doing it for some
time and then all of a sudden one
day, you don't come.
And then you go back into your old
routine.
Renew your tawbah again.
And then, because they say the one who
commits a sin and repents from it and
comes back and do it again, he's not
fooling himself.
He's not fooling Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
He's fooling only himself.
But if you happen to do it again,
may Allah forbid, go back and and repent
again and again and again until Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala, you know, forgives.
But then there's another fourth.
There's another fourth condition.
This is pertinent to between you and a
person.
Ah, huqoq.
There is huqoq Allah and there is huqoq
Ibad.
Huqoq between you and Allah, I have repented.
And I feel really bad about doing that
haram thing.
And I committed to never do it again.
But how about the huqoq of the person
which I have wronged?
Allah has forgiven, but how about that person?
Then I have to go to that person
and mend the hearts.
How about if I were to go to
that person after I made tawbah?
But then this person does not know.
If I were to tell him, this may
create a big problem.
Don't tell him.
You make du'a for him.
How about if you stolen some money from
him?
You return the money.
How about if you spoke in bad about
him?
Are you gonna go tell him, Ya akhi,
ya na'im, just Allah listen, ana tubt.
Walakin I wanna tell you something I used
to do in the gatherings many times.
I spoke so bad about you.
About how, about your business, you're a liar,
you're this, you're that, you're hada.
He didn't know.
But I'm coming to tell him, I said
that you're a liar, I said that you're
cheat, I said that you're kada.
This may create some animosity between me and
him.
Don't do it.
What would you do instead?
In the same gathering where you spoke bad
about him, go and speak good about him.
Wallahi rajul, ah, min an'am min an
'am.
Sukkar.
Sukkar, min altaf khalqa allah.
From, I know that person, I know him,
he's such an amazing.
The same gathering, or any gathering, when you
have a chance, speak good about him as
you spoke bad about him.
Qayyib.
Fahada.
When kunna?
The fourth.
The fourth.
Al-Huqooq.
Al-Huqooq.
We spoke about, what is Al-Huqooq?
Al-Tawbah, right?
The conditions of Tawbah of the Alim, and
the conditions of the Tawbah of, of, in
general.
Qayyib.
Ulaika, in the ayah.
Ulaika la'anuhumu Allah, wa la'anuhumu al
-la'inoon.
The ayah, after that.
Inna alladhina kafadhu.
Okay, there's a difference here, there's something interesting
here.
Then Allah Azza wa Jalla talks about, inna
alladhina kafadhu, and with regard to the non
-believers, inna alladhina kafadhu, wa maatu wahum kuffaar.
Here's the difference.
Wa maatu wahum kuffaar.
Not only they, because now you cannot go
to a non-believer, a non-Muslim and
say, you are going to hellfire.
Who are you?
Who are you?
Do you have the key to Jannah?
Anta, it's written, you're going to hellfire.
You can't say that.
Or you go to some Muslim and say,
Anta, Jannah.
You can't, especially for non-believers.
Why?
Because you never know.
You never know.
They may, Allah may guide them.
They may, they may do something, you know,
for them to earn the guidance of Allah
Azza wa Jalla, and they may turn to
be believers.
But when would you?
If a person, subhanAllah, Inna allatheena kafaru wa
maatu wahum kuffaar.
Here's the difference.
Wa maatu wahum kuffaar.
You know what that means?
And they die in the state of disbelief.
Then and only then.
As Allah said, Walaika alayhim la'anatu Allah,
wal malaikati wal nasi ajma'een.
Upon them is the la'ana of Allah.
The la'ana, the curse.
The la'ana of Allah.
The curse of Allah.
Wal malaika, and the angels.
Wal nasi ajma'een.
Consistency, as if Allah Azza wa Jalla put
in an emphasis.
Not only, just it's sufficient for the curse
of Allah Azza wa Jalla alone.
That is sufficient.
But Allah is telling you about those disbelievers,
who die in the state of disbelief, not
only Allah will curse them.
The curse is coming from Allah.
And al malaika, Jibreel, wa Israfil, wa Mikael,
and Malak al Mawt, and all the other
angels.
And, wal nasi ajma'een.
wal nasi ajma'een.
Brothers and sisters, the difference between, al farq,
bayna had al la'ana, wa had al
la'ana.
Those who withhold ilm, I'm gonna ask you
this, if you're paying attention.
Those who withheld ilm, Allah talked, He says,
yal'anuhumu Allah, wa yal'anuhumu la'inoon.
They will be cursed, by Allah, and all
mankind will curse them.
Right?
And then, Allah Azza wa Jalla talks in
the second ayah about, those, disbelievers, who die
in the state of disbelief, they will also
be cursed, by Allah, and the angels, and
all mankind.
What's the difference between the first curse, and
the second curse?
Habibna?
That the, sorry, the ones that have the
ilm, are cursed for a certain time.
JazakAllah khair.
Because those are cursed for a certain time,
unless and until they repent.
Then, if they repent, then Allah Azza wa
Jalla, will forgive them, as He says.
But these people, the other sect, the other
party, the other group, that Allah Azza wa
Jalla spoke about, innal ladheena kafaru wa maatuhum
kuffaat.
They disbelieve, and they die in the state
of disbelief, there is no repentance for them.
Repentance is over.
So, the curse, from Allah Azza wa Jalla,
is on, and is forever, from Allah, from
the angels, and wal nasi ajma'een.
innallaha wa malaikatuhu wal insu wal jinn, hatta,
yal'anisu, look, there's a difference between, you
know what's the opposite of a curse?
la'na?
rahma.
rahma, mercy.
The opposite of curse, la'na, is rahma,
is mercy.
So, the Prophet Muhammad Azza wa Jalla, when
he says, innallaha wa malaikatuhu wal insu wal
jinn, hatta, no
one convey it.
Why?
The Prophet says, Allah and the angels, and
the ins, and the jinn, ya habibi, the
ins and the jinn, even the fish in
the ocean, they seek forgiveness to the people
who, who convey khair, who teach people khair.
Why?
Why brothers?
Why?
Why all this?
Allah and the angels, and ins, and jinn,
and even the animals, they pray for you.
They pray for those who convey ilm.
They pray for those who teach people khair.
Why?
It's a no-brainer.
Why?
When you teach people khair, people become good.
Instead of becoming, you know, causing corruption on
land, and causing corruption in the sea, you
know, you're teaching people good, so instead of
causing corruption, leading corruption, no, you're leading good
and khair.
So people are doing khair, instead of doing
corruption, and doing evil.
So this is why Allah, and the angels,
and the ins, and the jinn, and even
the animals, the prophet says, particularly, al haytan
fil bahar, fish inside the ocean, they, they,
yusallun ala muallimin nasil khair, teaching people khair.
khalideena feeha, this is very important, khalideen, you
know what khalideen?
mukhaladeen, mukhaladoon, khalideen, khalideen is forever.
khalideena feeha, la yukhaffafu anhumul adhab, wala hum
yusalloon, this is where you came.
khalideena feeha, la yukhaffafu anhumul adhab, khalideen, meaning
they will be in it forever, those who
die in the state of disbelief.
So they are disbelievers, and then they die
in the state of disbelief.
They had many chances to say la ilaha,
but they didn't.
So, they will be thrown in hellfire, khalideena
feeha, meaning they will never come out from
it, wala yukhaffafu anhumul adhab, the punishment will
not diminish, it will not be reduced.
The punishment will be forever and ever.
Yes, they will have some wishes, I mentioned
this in one of my khutbas before.
They will have some wishes, one of the
wishes, they will say, these people in hellfire,
No, before Ya Malik, let me finish, wa
lana nadeena feeha, Allah
is saying here, la yukhaffafu anhumul adhab, the
adhab will not be reduced.
It will be forever and ever.
Imagine, astaghfirullah man, astaghfirullah.
Somebody standing on fire forever, standing on it.
Because some people, as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
says, there are some who, the fire will
reach their ankles, the fire will reach their
knees, the fire will reach their bellies, some
people, you know, the fire will reach their
throat, they will be turning in fire, they
will be living in fire.
And the punishment will never reduce.
And when the skin gets burned, as you
know, scientifically after some time, the skin, you
know, loses the feeling, so you start not
feeling anything, no pain.
So Allah Azza wa Jalla will change the
skins into new skins.
Why?
Yaduqul adhab.
So they may feel and taste the punishment.
It's no joke.
It's no joke.
Why would I?
Don't joke brothers.
Don't, don't, you know, really.
Why won't you wake up and pray Fajr?
Why don't you come to the masjid?
Why don't you read Qur'an?
Did you read Qur'an today?
How many pages did you read?
Oh, no I didn't.
I was so busy.
But you were so busy doing so many
things, fine.
But you were reading, mashallah, all the messages
on your WhatsApp.
All the groups.
You had time to read, right?
Couldn't you read only one page of the
Qur'an?
Just one page.
Yani, what's wrong?
What's this?
Fine.
And Allah subhana wa ta'ala says, ana
wal'ana insha'Allah wa ta'ala wa
ilaahukum ilaahun wahid la ilaha illa hu ar
-Rahman ar-Rahim ha yajimukum insha'Allah in
two minutes, bi-idhnillah wa ilaahukum ilaahun wahid
thumma yabda'u Allah bi-ayat al-tawhid
After talking about this, and then Allah says,
And your Lord is Wahid, is One.
la ilaha illa hu This is the ayat
of, talking about the oneness of Allah azza
wa jal.
la ilaha illa hu And then He chose
two names to end the ayah with.
ar-Rahman ar-Rahim Because after this ayat,
will come amazing ayat, which I'm not going
to do tonight.
inna fee khalqis samawati wal-ardi wakhtidai fee
al-layli wal-nahar Talking about the amazements.
Talking about the wonders of Allah azza wa
jal.
inna fee khalqis samawati wal-ardi About the
creations of the heavens and the earth, and
the alternation of the night and day.
But before that, Allah azza wa jal talks
about, ilaahukum ilaahun wahid You know, al-aqool
salima tanfee wujud alihatan ukhra al-aqool salim
Any sound brain will deny the existence of
two gods.
Or more than one god.
Let's just say more than one god.
This is a sound brain.
If somebody is sound.
Because it does not make sense.
law kana fee hima alihatayni lafasadata As Allah
subhana wa ta'ala says, If there were
two gods in this earth, the earth will
become corrupted.
Why?
One god says, I want rain.
The other god says, No.
I don't feel like rain today.
Sun.
I want sun.
Just like a woman cannot have two husbands.
Yeah, you can love, but it's right.
She cannot have two husbands.
One husband wants this, the other husband says,
No, I want this.
La mafeej.
Doesn't make sense.
Don't ask me the opposite.
Don't ask me, I don't answer.
I'm just telling you.
No, no, no.
We're live.
No, but true, true.
Subhanallah.
She cannot have two husbands.
This earth cannot have two gods.
This universe cannot have two gods.
Your body cannot have two hearts.
Allah azza wa jalla says in the Qur
'an, مَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِرَجُلٍ مِنْ قَلْبَيْنِ فِيهِ
جَوْفِهِ Allah says that in the Qur'an
clearly.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala does not place
two hearts in a man's body.
Two hearts.
You can't.
It's only one heart.
One heart says, two hearts.
And one says, I want to beat.
The other one says, beat fast.
The other one says, no, slow.
The other one says this.
The other one says that.
When I went to Malaysia, they have this
mountain, whatever it's called.
I forgot the mountain.
On top there is a cave.
In that cave, there is this Sikh or
Hindu people, whatever you know.
So, it's people they go and visit.
So, I went up.
I went all the way up and then
I found these people.
And I spoke to them.
Because they have in these.
How many gods?
More than thousand gods.
I have.
So, if you want rain, we pray to
the god of rain.
If you want sun, we pray to the
god of sun.
If you want money, if you want whatever
you want, you have a god.
You go to that particular god and you
ask him.
Subhanallah.
Allah Azza wa Jalla says, in the Qur
'an, If there was in it, Allah Subhanahu
wa Ta'ala, If there was in it,
Allah would have corrupted it.
He would have corrupted it.
It would be fasad.
It would be corruption if there were two
gods.
Imagine two gods fighting with each other.
No, no, no.
This and that.
I like Na'im.
The other god says, No, I don't like
Na'im.
Get rid of him.
The other god says, No, I love Na
'im.
He's a good man.
Abu Rayyan, Oh, I love Abu Rayyan.
The other guy says, No, Abu Rayyan.
No, I don't like Abu Rayyan.
Ya, Abu Rayyan.
No, I don't like him.
So, you see, Subhanallah.
Allah says, Wa ilahukum ilahu wahid.
La ilaha illa hu.
Ar-Rahman.
Ar-Rahim.
Okay, we'll end with this beauty.
What is the beauty?
Allah ordered us to pray to the god
of sun.
Allah ordered us to pray and we pray.
Allah ordered us to read Qur'an.
Alhamdulillah, we do.
As much as we could.
Allah ordered us to fast, we fast.
Allah ordered us to pay Zakat, Sadaqah, we
do.
Allah didn't overburden us with anything that we
cannot do.
There.
He is Ar-Rahman.
He is Ar-Rahman.
Wa ilahukum ilahu wahid.
La ilaha illa hu.
This is why he didn't say Al-Mujeeb
Al-Qadeer.
Al-Aziz Al-Ghanib.
No.
Ar-Rahman Al-Rahim.
La ilaha illa hu.
There is only one god who decreed that
we do certain things, but he did not,
Subhanahu wa ta'ala, and he did not
and he will not hold us responsible about
anything that is more that we can bear.
La yukallifullahu nafsan illa wus'aha.
And this is why he is Ar-Rahman
Al-Rahim.
And then he goes talking about the ayat
of this universe.
And that we will talk about next week
insha'Allah wa ta'ala.

he's dead only temporarily and he's coming to
us.
So the Hadith says a woman should not
really mistreat and abuse her husband because the
woman from Jannah you were sleeping you just
woke up.
You heard about women in Jannah then you
woke up.
Go back to sleep now.
Go back You know the woman from Jannah
says she curses the woman in this dunya
she says don't mistreat him he's only there
with you temporarily and he's soon coming to
us.
You like that one ha?
I had to go a little bit I
had to go a little bit No no
