Dawood Alayhi Salaam, Dawood Alayhi Salaam, I said
something about Dawood last week, and I said,
what is so special about Dawood, he was
the what, I ignore you, because you're raising
your hand and you're talking, I ignore you,
you raise your hand, and then, the special,
what is so special about him, who killed,
that was, yeah, is that something special about
Dawood, okay, I'll take that, he was the
one who killed Goliath or Jalut, but that's
not my, that's not my question, the question
is something special about him, he was the,
the first prophet, but king, Awal Malik Rasool
or Malik Nabi, the very first one who
was a king, but also a prophet was
Dawood Alayhi Salaam, okay, of course, okay, take
that.
Something else about Dawood, did I ask a
question, did I ask a question, okay, what,
what, yeah, you raise your hand, I didn't
ask a question yet, huh, oh, his voice
was beautiful, I'll give you that, of course,
what is the dua of Dawood, that the
prophet used to like, for
her, of course, how old is she, huh,
two plus, sister, is this two plus, who
brought me this, no, who gave me this,
is that you, okay, what age, five plus,
I don't know man, question, something
happened when Dawood died, I didn't mention it
last week, but let's see if you know
it, something happened when Dawood died, his son
did something amazing, what happened, you know the
answer, huh, huh, turned king, he became the
king, he already king, yes, he's already king,
wait, something happened when Dawood died, you know,
I never did, and I'm trying to see
if you know the answer, you never said
Dawood died, we're going to talk about it
today, in the funeral of Dawood, something amazing
happened, what happened, he married who,
the daughter of who, of Dawood, tell
me sheikh, just give me this please, I
don't know the answer, but just give me
this, okay, I understand, who is Bukhtanassar, Bukhtanassar,
who is Bukhtanassar, hmm, king, a big man,
no, king, he was a king, but what
was, what was he, he was a king,
but what was he, like a king, hold
on, hmm, yes,
he's the one who stole the tabut, he
took the tabut, and then what happened to
him, he stole the tabut, what was inside
the tabut, give me that, give me the
box, what was inside the tabut, the tablets
of Musa, the Asr of Musa, anything else,
anything else is inside there, driver's license, there
is no driver's license, mashallah alaikum, mashallah alaikum,
so that's enough, let's move on to the
story and the Quran, so Dawood alayhis salaam,
as, I need to start this please, keep
it quiet, hey, Dawood
alayhis salaam, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has
blessed him with lots of blessings in terms
of power and hikmah, and he used to
rule between people, and he used to make
living off of his own whatever he used
to make, alayhis salaam, we mentioned that Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala used to turn steel
into like play dough, like dough, that's how
strong he was, he invented, as the prophets
were inventors, he was the first one who
invented something called the armor, to save people's
lives, he was told one day, as, because
he had a time where he would go
and judge between people, but he has a
very little time where he would go and
rest, as he was resting, or paying attention,
as he was resting, somebody came to him
and he says, there is someone in your
home, somebody came to his home, and Dawood
alayhis salaam was known to be very extremely
jealous, very extremely jealous, so somebody is in
your home, so he ran because his wife
said to that person who was there, if
my husband wants to know you are here,
he will kill you, get out of here,
so already the news spread to Dawood alayhis
salaam, who is of course a prophet, he
heard, so he ran, and then he went
and he found a man, he found a
man who he did not know who he
was, so who are you?
The man says, Who are you?
This is who I am, I am the
one who does not fear kings, nor, not
barred by gatekeepers, and no one can stop
me, no one can stop me, who is
this person?
Who is this person?
Jibreel?
Who is this person?
The angel of death, Malak al mawt, Jibreel?
Who said Jibreel?
But he is not actually Jibreel, he is
the angel of death, nobody can stop me,
I don't fear no one, not barred by
any gatekeepers, what does that mean not barred
by any gatekeepers?
Oh, I know something you will love more,
until you like to make things, you are
an engineer, this you can make, right?
This is something, what is this?
Field goal game?
Okay, this is something like a puzzle you
can make, he loves these things.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says, anywhere you
are, you cannot, even if you are trying
to hide from death, you can't, even if
you are in these fortresses, you know, in
these fortresses trying to hide from death, when
your time is up, your time is up.
So he says, not barred by gatekeepers, even
if there is a gate around you to
save you from death, no, when your time
is up, your time is up.
So Dawood alayhi salam, he realized that that
was Malak al-Mawt, then he says, Marhaban
bi Malak al-Mawt, Marhaban with, you know,
the angel of death.
So he passed away, he died.
It's been said, brothers and sisters, in his
funeral, there was a massive, massive funeral.
His death was mourned by thousands, including 4
,000 priests, all in this huge, massive funeral.
Janazah Dawood alayhi salam was a huge funeral.
So many people, so many.
He had so many followers and so many
soldiers.
They were all there, including 4,000 priests
alone.
So what happened?
It got so hot.
This is the question I asked earlier.
It was so hot because there were so
many people.
Hence came Sulaiman's miracle.
What is that miracle?
Sulaiman, that we're going to talk about today.
He, Allah azawajal, has blessed with more power,
subhanAllah, than his own father Dawood.
What is the power?
He used to be able to talk and
address birds and animals.
So what did Sulaiman said?
Sulaiman alayhi salam, he ordered the birds to
go on top of the, like the ceiling,
to cover the ceiling with their wings and
just to move their wings slightly.
Like a fan.
So they started moving their birds slowly to
be able for people to be able to
breathe.
That's when Sulaiman alayhi salam appeared for the
first time as he was raised by his
own dad.
Let's talk about the story of Prophet Sulaiman
alayhi salam.
But first and foremost, before I start, I
truly today feel I need a hug.
I don't know why.
I just feel a hug.
Anybody?
All the kids?
All the kids, yalla, yalla, quickly, quickly, quickly,
all of you, yalla.
I'm not going to say you come give
me a hug, I'll give you candy.
But just to see who's going to give
me charity today, hugs.
It's okay even if you're a girl.
Yeah, I love girls, hugs, I love girls.
MashaAllah.
I love you.
Say I love you.
I love you too.
Alright, thank you.
Did you take from behind?
Did you take from behind?
Haram alaykum.
Haram.
Don't take nothing.
Alright.
Thank you.
I love you, man.
Thank you.
Alright, Sulaiman alayhi salam.
I feel good now.
Sulaiman alayhi salam.
I'm going to do it in two parts.
First about him, and then we talk about
the story.
Just like I did with Dawood alayhi salam.
Sulaiman alayhi salam, some of his miracles, and
then we talk about the Quran, and then
we go into the story of Sulaiman alayhi
salam.
He was mentioned, how many times Dawood was
mentioned in the Quran?
16.
Do you have a miswak?
You don't have a miswak?
No, you don't?
This is from Madinah, man.
Or woman, not man.
Here.
Ooh.
From Madinah.
17 times.
Dawood, 16 times in the Quran.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala mentioned them, and
we'll talk about that as well.
Some of his miracles.
He used to understand the language of animals.
We will talk about what Allah says in
the Quran.
When an animal speaks, you will talk about
the story of, Ya shabab, girls, boys, girls
and boys, girls and boys.
Where's your dad, inta?
Where's your dad, mom?
Inta, where?
Dad, mom?
Huh?
Yalla, yalla.
Go to mom, go to mom quickly.
We will talk about the story of the
insects.
Or the story of the ant.
And the amazing leadership skills of that ant.
You will see.
From one ant, we will derive amazing lessons.
And then how he responded.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala blessed him with
this.
He asked Allah for the dua, and Allah
answered his dua.
We will talk about also some other miracles.
He is the jinn.
The subjugation of the jinn.
We subjugated the mountains for him.
We subjugated the birds for him.
We subjugated the wind for him.
We subjugated the jinn for him.
The jinn used to serve him.
The jinn used to serve him.
So is the wind.
You will see that Suleyman, even the wind,
like a trip that would take normally about
a month, for Suleyman would take a day.
He would go to the wind.
That's how powerful things were for Suleyman a
.s. Another thing for Suleyman, subjugation of the
steel.
Just like his son, he would play with
his father.
Just like the father.
He used to play with steel, very soft.
Just like his father.
He was blessed with wisdom.
وَمَنْ أُوتِيَ الْحِكْمَةَ فَقَدْ أُوتِيَ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا Here
is a woman who comes in, with two
girls.
A woman came in with a girl, and
another woman came in with another girl.
No, actually it was only one girl.
It was only one girl.
One baby.
Right?
Here is one baby.
And then, there is another woman who came
in claiming, it's my baby, my baby.
Right?
My baby, my baby.
My baby, my baby.
The other woman says, No, it's my baby.
So they went to whom?
They went to Dawood.
Whose baby it is?
Dawood, poor thing.
She claims this is her baby.
The other one claims it is her baby.
But it is my baby, me.
It is my baby, me.
I will die, me.
She is not here.
She is not here.
I'm not done.
I'm not done with the story.
I'm not done.
I'll give you this.
Now she is staying.
This is my baby, this is my baby.
Almost done.
This is my baby, this is my baby.
And then Dawood said, Oh, the other woman,
that's your baby, you take it.
Sulaiman said, My father, I think I have
a better opinion.
I have something different.
Why?
He took the baby and said, Okay, let's
kill this baby.
You claim he is your son, you claim
he is your son, and then we are
going to split it in half.
Bring me some knife.
They brought him a knife, we are going
to split the baby in half, and then
you take half, and then you take the
other half.
Okay?
So he brought this knife, and then I
was about to split it in half, and
then the lady, one lady, one of them,
the youngest one apparently, she says, No, no,
no, no, no.
It's fine.
It's her baby.
It's her baby.
Just give it to her.
It's her baby.
And then Dawood said, Sulaiman said, O my
father, this is the true mother.
Where did she go?
This is the true mother.
Right?
This is the true mother.
Moms, what do you think?
Isn't that the heart of a mother?
No, no, don't harm my baby.
It's her baby.
It's her baby.
Just let her live.
This is the wisdom that Allah SWT had
blessed Sulaiman with.
Oh, we have a watch here, right?
Who gave this?
Huh?
You?
What is this watch as I give it?
Just a watch?
It's just a watch.
It's just a watch.
Okay, I'll give it away inshallah.
He made this dua.
He said, O my Lord, forgive me.
We're going to come back to this.
He bestowed upon me a kingdom that no
one after me should have.
You are the bestower.
Here is the key.
All of you here, all the fathers, all
the mothers.
Listen, listen.
This is amazing.
This is when I teach the names of
Allah.
I'm going to teach you something amazing.
Wahab, from the names of Allah.
Al-Wahab.
Al-Wahab is different than Al-Razzaq.
Please listen.
This is gold.
This is why I say these lectures are
not only for kids.
It's for kids and parents and everyone.
Boys who are in the back, listen to
this, man.
Stop texting her.
Leave her alone.
You're the youngsters now, Musaybah.
Leave texting her.
You want her, go tell your father.
What is he talking about?
I don't know.
I'm just making things up.
Just keep that phone down.
How does he know I'm texting her?
Al-Wahab is different than Al-Razzaq.
Al-Razzaq is the provider.
Al-Wahab is the bestower of gift.
What is the difference?
What is the difference between Al-Razzaq and
Al-Wahab?
Al-Razzaq, you work.
You work, then you take the reasons.
And Allah will support you.
This is the difference.
Al-Razzaq, you make an action.
You make a move.
You go to work.
And then you get your paycheck.
That's Al-Razzaq.
Whereas Al-Wahab, When you read the Qur
'an, anything about brothers, mostly children, or even
wives, Allah uses the name Al-Wahab.
What is the name Al-Wahab in English?
The bestower of gift.
You know when I said Al-Razzaq, Al
-Razzaq, you have to make an effort to
get something.
Al-Wahab, you don't do nothing.
It's a gift from Allah.
Like your children.
You've been married for 20 years.
Nothing is happening.
But all of a sudden, your dua, the
dua of others, Allah answer them, and then
you come in one day, mother, you come
in one day from work, and your wife
acts weird.
She's so weird.
Mary-Jean, she calls you Mary-Jean?
Habibi, whatever she calls you, she's weird.
Guess.
Guess what?
Guess.
What do you mean, guess?
What did you do?
No, I did not do anything.
But guess.
She's asking weird.
Come on, guess Habibi.
Guess what?
What did you do?
No, no, nothing.
But guess.
She's acting weird.
I'm pregnant.
What does pregnant mean?
This is a gift from Allah.
Mulk is a gift from Allah.
So what is Sulaiman asking for here?
Ya Shabab, Ya Bilal, Ya Habib, Abu, Abu,
Abu.
Allah SWT says here, Ya Shabab, what's going
on here?
Poor thing.
He said, O my Lord, forgive me.
And grant me a kingdom that no one
after me should have.
You are the bestower.
O Allah, forgive me and grant me an
authority that will never be matched by anyone
after me.
So much so that the Prophet Muhammad SAW
says, Mulk Sulaiman, he ruled the entire world.
He ruled the world.
He ruled the earth.
He ruled the earth.
Sulaiman SAW, the dua of Sulaiman who is
being granted, Allah SWT, He answered this dua.
He ruled jinn.
He ruled the wind.
He ruled soldiers.
He ruled animals.
He ruled giants.
He ruled everyone.
Sulaiman SAW.
I like you, Adam.
Watching and yeah, I can see.
Do you know the last man who entered
Jannah?
She raised her hand.
Just because you raised your hand.
It's hers.
Do you know the story in Sahih Muslim?
The Prophet Muhammad SAW, when he said, narrated
by Ibn Mas'ud, he said, the last
man who came out from * fire, and
then he was going towards Jannah.
Very interesting story.
And then he looks back and he says,
الحمد لله الذي نجاني منك.
He told the * fire, الحمد لله that
Allah has saved me from you.
And then he goes, it's a long hadith,
I'm gonna just quickly quickly summarize it for
you.
And then a tree pops up in the
middle, just on the way.
A tree pops up, beautiful tree.
And then he keeps looking, looking, looking, and
it's just a beautiful tree.
ربي أدني من تلك الشجرة أشرب من مائها
وأكل من فاكهتها وأستضل تحت ضلها.
Oh Allah, get me close to that tree
so I can eat from the fruits of
the tree and sit under the shade of
the tree.
Allah says, if I were to get you
there, would you ask me anything else?
The man says, لا يا ربي, I will
not ask you anything else.
And then he went in, sitting there, being
happy, you know, eating from...
This is outside of Jannah.
Imagine, outside of Jannah.
And then the second tree pops up a
little bit far away.
And then he looks, he looks.
He made a promise, remember?
He made a promise.
And then he looks, he looks, he looks,
he looks, he looks.
And then he says, ربي أدني من تلك
الشجرة.
Can you make me close to that tree?
I just want to be close to that
tree.
You know, it's a beautiful tree.
Then Allah says, didn't you tell me, you
promised you're not going to ask me anything
else?
Yes يا ربي ولكن أعدك, أعدك.
I make a promise, I make a promise.
That's like your son or your daughter sometimes.
I promise you that I will never do
it again.
وبعدين بيدو it again.
I will never do it again.
I will never do it again.
I will not ask you for anything else.
And Allah forgives him.
لأنه يرى شيء ما لا طاقة له به.
كما قال عليه الصلاة والسلام.
يرى شيء ما لا طاقة له به.
He says something has no power over him.
And it's beyond him.
He goes under the second tree.
He's enjoying himself.
And then the second tree happens to be
by the gate of Jannah.
Right there.
And then he hears the people of Jannah.
He hears the voices.
Something is happy.
Something is going on there.
ربي أدخلنيها.
Oh Allah let me in.
I want to go inside Jannah.
And then the gate of Jannah is open.
He sees it's packed.
Allah says to him, Okay, Allah go inside.
He goes, يا ربي it's packed.
I have no place to go.
Where am I going to go?
عبدي أتريد Do you want your place in
Jannah to be as great as the greatest
kingdom on earth?
This is your place.
This is the last person.
This is the lowest, very lowest, lowest person.
Do you want your place in Jannah to
be as big as the greatest kingdom on
earth?
The greatest kingdom on earth is talking about
who?
How do you know?
Because Sulayman, he ruled the entire world.
I gave you this, right?
No.
No.
I'm the man.
What did I say?
The kingdom of Sulayman.
He ruled the entire world.
This man, Allah is telling him, Do you
want your place in Jannah to be as
great?
Just your home in Jannah will be as
huge, as big as the entire world.
This is the kingdom of Sulayman, who ruled
the entire world.
Some people are complaining, I have a little
basement.
I have one bedroom.
I have this.
I have that.
Imagine the lowest person in Jannah will have
as big as the whole world is your
home in Jannah.
But you, sisters, sisters, here's something nice.
Just be quiet.
Girls, you in Jannah, it's not going to
be like the kingdom of Sulayman.
No, no, no, no, no.
You in Jannah, you will have inshallah.
You come in here, you're just like wasting
your time.
Ya Rabbi, just to settle for the lowest.
No, inshallah.
You will have the highest name, by Allah's
will.
Because there was another hadith that the prophet
says that Allah told the man, Are you
pleased?
Listen, this hadith is also in Sahih Muslim.
Are you pleased?
The man says, And you shall have the
same.
Your place in Jannah will be as huge
as the entire world times two.
Then the man says, And then, Five times
the man says, And please, and please, and
please.
Times five.
Then Allah says, And you shall have the
same ten times more.
These people, the lowest, he will have the
entire earth times ten.
How about the highest?
May Allah make you an eye amongst them.
Here are the ayat.
O people, we have been taught the language
of birds.
And been given everything we need.
This is indeed a great privilege.
This is from the Quran.
This is why I'm just giving the ayat
based on what I said earlier.
That he says, Sulaiman forces of jinn, humans
and birds.
All, not just birds.
You will see even animals.
They used to be under the authority of
Sulaiman a.s. And Sulaiman, we subjected the
wind.
Even the wind used to serve Sulaiman a
.s. Its morning stride was a month journey.
And so was its evening stride.
Allah says, Meaning, a trip that would take
one month.
But for Sulaiman, it's only a day.
That's it.
Not even the fastest
rocket.
This is faster than that.
It will take him only a month.
Only a day.
And we cause a stream of molten copper
to flow for him.
The steel becomes so soft for him.
The jinn serving him as well.
Allah says here, We subjected to him the
wind.
Anywhere he wants, the wind will take him.
The wind will blow and take him.
Even the shayateen.
Brothers and sisters, what is the difference between?
You are jinn.
How did you know I was going to
ask that question before answering the question?
You are jinn.
You are right.
She is right.
What is the difference between jinn and shayateen?
She already knew the question before.
Not even my wife knows that.
Not even my wife cannot read my mind.
Nobody can read my mind.
But she read my mind.
May Allah have patience upon your husband.
Your husband is keen.
Before he does something, I know what you
are going to think.
That was my question.
The question is, what is the difference between
jinn and shayateen?
What is the difference?
What is the difference between jinn and shayateen?
Do you know the answer?
You don't know the answer?
You are in the back.
All the way in the back.
Yes.
What is the difference between jinn and shayateen?
No.
No.
I mean, yes.
But no.
That's not.
That's his in the back.
What's the difference between jinn and shayateen?
Yes.
Aha!
All the shayateen are evil.
And?
Jinn are lovely?
And you are lovely too, man.
No, I cannot give you all.
I give you only one.
Because you are half of the answer.
No.
Come on.
Orange.
I'm coming.
Come on.
Get out.
Get out.
Come on.
Say it.
I'm not hearing.
Yes.
Huh?
Jinn are good and shayateen are bad?
No.
No.
Come on.
You are in the back.
Come on.
You.
Jinn sometimes good, sometimes bad.
How do you know?
No.
How do you know?
No.
No.
I need the answer.
In the back.
See, I'm trying to be fair.
Girls, I can't hear.
I cannot hear.
I'm paying you for this, man.
I'm paying you to tell.
Hajja, come on.
Right.
And shayateen?
This is the difference.
Jinn are good and shayateen are bad?
Every shayateen is jinn.
But not every jinn is shayateen.
Why?
Because amongst the jinn, there are those who
are believers.
Amongst us are Muslims and amongst us are
non-Muslims.
So the Muslims of the jinn are jinn.
And the non-Muslims or the non-believers
are shayateen.
Are shayateen.
Huh?
That's the question.
Comes in the first story of Sulaiman a
.s. In about 10 minutes, we're done.
In about 10 minutes, we're done.
Ya Fadi.
In about 10 minutes.
Where's Baba?
Where's Baba?
Are you done?
You're a kid, man.
You're done?
I know she knows I'm looking at her.
She knows, but she doesn't want to look
at me.
Put it in a box.
Put it in a box.
Sulaiman had that power.
To be able to understand the language of
animals.
So he goes one day with his soldiers.
Brothers and sisters, especially the husbands.
This is for you and I.
This is for the husbands and the sisters.
And all of us.
I'm going to come back to this.
I'm going to come back to this.
Be with me.
As they are going and walking with his
soldiers.
They pass by a valley of ants.
It's not ants.
Ants.
Not khala.
Ants.
And they're walking.
And then he heard an ant leader.
Oh, I encourage you all to read or
to watch on National Geography.
The world of ants.
What an amazing, amazing world.
An amazing world.
Especially the ants.
Who work so hard only during the summer.
To sleep during the winter.
Here in Canada, do you see ants in
the winter?
It's snowing.
So they work so much to save up.
Save up, subhanAllah.
So that they can survive during the winter.
So here, she's working.
They have a leader.
And subhanAllah, the ants leaders are all female.
Just like the leaders.
So he heard the ant leader, the queen
of the ants saying to the ant, Look
at the amazing, very smart leader ant.
Here's number one.
Number one.
When they reached and they came across a
valley of ants, An ant warned, whose ant?
The leader.
She's saying, Number one.
This is something that when you talk to
your children, You can use this as well.
When you talk to a friend, to a
boss, You want to win an argument or
you want to justify something.
Because sometimes, Hey brother, you have kids, who
has kids?
All of you, right?
When you tell your kid, I don't want
you to do this.
What does your kid say automatically?
Who said why?
Of course.
Of course, man.
No brainer.
You say, don't do this.
That's not his son.
He's not a son who tells you, you
tell him, do this.
He says, There's nobody.
He will have to say, Why?
Who gave me the evidence?
Why my brother does it?
Why on me?
Why are you scared of mama?
Huh?
That's why she did it.
He always asks you, why?
So here's this ant.
She's saying, O ant, Exactly interesting.
O Adam, O Yusuf, Number one, listen.
Listen.
Number one.
Go inside your homes.
Yalla, yalla, yalla.
Go inside your homes.
Why?
Before they say, why?
She told them why they should enter their
homes.
Your dad and my dad, they don't do
this.
Back home.
It's our time today, which things are different.
The way I grew up, I can't ask
my father why.
He ask why, I can tell my eyes
how many times.
No, he didn't hit.
You can't ask why.
Just do.
So here, Enter.
Go quickly into your homes.
Why?
Because Suleiman and his armies do not crush
you.
But she's so smart.
She's justifying an action of Suleiman.
Suleiman, she's saying, unknowingly.
This is why Suleiman, Why here he says,
And so Suleiman smile in amusement in her
words.
She is so smart.
Ya ants, go inside.
Why?
Suleiman is coming.
He's going to crush you.
Go quickly, quickly.
And why would he crush us?
What did we do wrong?
Unknowingly.
These guys are huge.
And you guys are small.
He will walk and you say, Excuse me,
ants.
Ant, please, please.
Make way, make way.
Suleiman is coming.
Make way.
You're an ant.
I don't see you.
You're not there.
I will just crush you and go.
So she says, Go, go inside.
Isn't that an amazing ant?
Put her in a box.
She came to Suleiman and she says, Suleiman,
oh, Suleiman told her, Oh,
you ant, how many grains do you need
to survive for one year?
She said, I need three.
Suleiman put her in a box and he
gave her three grains and he locked her
in that box.
He came back a year later.
He opened up.
He found that she consumed two grains and
she left one as a spare.
He asked her, Didn't you say you needed
three?
He says, yes, that's when my rizq is
on Allah.
But because now my rizq is on you,
I thought that you may forget about me.
So I kept one in spare just in
case.
Put her in a box.
When your rizq is on Allah, you don't
have to worry about anything.
Allah will look after you.
But subhanAllah, when you think your rizq is
because of your boss or your this or
that, you're never going to be happy and
you're never going to live in a happy
life.
Please remember this dua.
Please sisters, memorize this dua.
Why?
Look what he says.
He says, well, Oh my Lord, because when
he heard her, amazing, Ya Rabbi, I can
understand what she's saying.
I can understand the language of these ants
and the animals.
This is amazing.
And then how she saved herself from being
crushed.
Rabbi, now he's attributing the blessings to Allah.
It's not like Qarun who says, this is
because of me.
I'm strong and powerful.
No, he says, Rabbi, Number one, this is
why I said, you and I, husbands and
wives, why?
Because sometimes we're not thankful.
Be thankful of your, be thankful of your
wives.
Why?
When you go home, sometimes you just say,
Sisters be happy with your husbands and say
to yourselves many times and every day.
In fact, you should say it every day.
Should they say it every, every hour?
Say it every day.
Say, inspire me always to be thankful to
your favors.
Don't you think that your husband is a
blessing from Allah?
Don't you think that your wife is a
blessing from Allah?
Don't you think that your son that you
complain about all the time?
There's so many children who don't want to
come here.
You drag them to come.
They will say, no, we will not come.
But your children are here with you and
they love it here.
Alhamdulillah.
So you should all say together, together all
say, I don't hear you.
When you go home and you find your
meal, you find your lunch, you find your
dinner been already cooked.
You go home and you see your children
running in Gaza.
The children are being, mom, she cooks whatever
she needs.
She could cook if there's anything to cook
for her child.
And then she hugs him.
He goes out.
He does, she does not know that the
son will be coming back.
All of a sudden, she hears a bomb.
Where is my Habib?
He's gone.
Whereas you come home, your children are running.
Your children are here.
They're sitting.
They're safe.
They're happy.
They're smiling.
Say, Oh Allah, bless me always to be
thankful to your favors.
You have that, that monthly thing already been
paid every month.
Alhamdulillah.
You don't have to worry.
Your electricity is paid.
Your heater is paid.
Your food is paid.
You just come home and say, Alhamdulillah, I
have parents who are taking care of this.
Little sisters, do you get the point or
you don't get it?
Because you and I sometimes we take things
for granted.
There are people who are maybe making so
much dua and they're willing to pay millions
just so that they can have a son
or a daughter.
They're barren.
They cannot conceive.
You have a son.
You have a daughter.
You have children.
You have a father.
You have a mother.
Say, before Allah takes these blessings from you.
So this is Sulaiman A.S. when he
saw this and you know, and how he
could understand her.
He attributed that to Allah S.W.T.
and he thanked him for his blessings S
.W.T. Leadership skills.
Leadership skills.
We're going to learn these leadership skills from
the hoopoe.
Who's the hoopoe?
We're going to learn leadership skills from Sulaiman.
Sulaiman, he used to run things all of
a sudden, one day, as he is in
this.
And I'm done.
In one minute, I'm done.
I'm concluding right here.
And I'm concluding right here.
I'm concluding one here.
Those who have been paying attention only, only,
until you've been paying attention.
He's been paying attention in the back.
What was I going to say?
Leadership skills.
Leadership skills.
Sulaiman, he used to have his meetings, daily
activities.
Amongst them, is a meeting with all his
soldiers and maids and slaves and animals and
whatnot.
But something he was so special about, that
some of us parents do have and some
parents don't have.
Some parents do have this skill and some
parents they're totally oblivious.
Each had skill.
He pays very meticulous attention.
I'm telling you, billions, they're all there in
his haram.
But he noticed one very small creation was
not there.
Who had the creation?
Al-Hudhud.
Where is the Hudhud?
Where is the Hudhud?
He pays very meticulous attention.
Some of us, our children are out.
We don't even know what they are.
We don't know what time they come home.
We don't know what time they leave.
We don't know who they're talking to.
We don't know what they're doing on their
phones.
Think of it as you wish.
We don't know what they're looking at.
We don't know what they're doing at home.
We don't know what they're doing.
We are totally oblivious.
In Africa, somebody told me, hey, there's some
parents who have 20 kids.
20 kids, they're in the village.
You think he's gonna go and count 20
kids?
He goes to sleep with his wife and
the kids, whoever is there.
Whoever is not there, we're gonna make somebody
else.
Don't worry.
Dawood, Sulaiman, he had the skill of being
meticulously, he pays attention even to the slightest,
latest, or least details.
Where is the hood hood?
He's not here.
And something else, something else amazing.
He says, either he brings me an excuse
for missing my meeting, or I will kill
him.
So this is another leadership skill.
What is that leadership skill?
I will listen.
I will listen to his justification.
If he has a valid excuse, no valid
excuse, I'm firm.
I'm gonna punish him.
Before you kill your son, before you kill
him, listen to him.
Why did you do what you...
For one, two, and three.
And the watch.
Who did this?
Musa.
Musa with who?
Remember Musa with Harun?
When Musa went to speak to Allah, and
then he came to...
And then he put Harun from...
And then, why?
And then he heard from him.
He heard, he says, why did you do
what you did?
He heard, it's not me, it's the Samiri.
And then he told him the story before
punishing, he heard the story.
And then he went to Samiri, before punishing,
he heard the story.
So this is something, a leadership skill that
we learned from Suleyman A.S. There's more,
a lot more, a lot, a lot more.
And then comes in the amazing story of
the jinn and black magic.
What's black magic or dark magic?
As-Sihar.
As-Salamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Let me tell
you something.
I want to think of something like this
because I want to make a series about
black magic.
I have a series about black magic.
I don't do this, right?
But it is really, it's online.
But I want to do it, this is
a new version of it.
Should we have one session just about the
world of jinn?
Or include it throughout the, for example, what
we do here?
Will I have one separate session?
What do you think?
One separate session because I would need at
least because I'm going to talk about what's
black magic, the type of black magic, what
is sihar, what's the difference between sihar and
mass, and possession, and is it spiritual or
is it physical?
And I'm going to talk about of course
the cure.
I'm going to talk about the ayin and
the hasad and the cure.
So it's going to take me at least
maybe four or five sessions.
Do you want to do this?
Or have maybe one day, Saturday, full day?
That is the, what I meant to say
here.
Either have it throughout the series or have
one day and do the whole day, the
world of jinn.
Who says one day?
Who says within Fridays?
Other Fridays, the majority.
So next week, we will try to conclude
the story of, because khalas, we're almost done.
After Suleiman, Ilyas, Wal Yasa, after Ilyas, Wal
Yasa, we're going to go to Isa a
.s. Before Isa, we're going to talk about
Mary, we're going to talk about Zakariya, and
then Isa, and then we're done with the
nation builders and then start a new series
inshallah ta'ala.
So bi-idhnillah, Jazakumullah khair for coming.
I didn't say, I didn't say, did I
say?
I didn't say, okay, okay, tayyib, tayyib, tayyib.
