Quran Weekly this Abdul Nasir Jenga, coming back to you with another installment of stories of the prophets. Today we're going to be talking about how to own alayhis salam.

00:00:43--> 00:01:22

Haruna Li Salam is one of the prophets in the Quran, who is mentioned most of the time in tandem with his brother Musa alayhis salam, a little bit of detail about how to analyse Salaam that we find information from different narrations and different sources of information. Is that Harun Ali Hassan who was the actual biological brother of Musa alayhis salam, and also a lot of narrations mentioned that he was probably older than most Allison like a year older than Moosa his his brother. Now, to talk about how to nanny Salaam you do obviously ended up mentioning Musa alayhis salam because they're mentioned together in the Quran. How did I do that I'm actually come to be a prophet be

00:01:22--> 00:02:04

selected for Prophethood what was the means of that? Of course, Allah created him to be a prophet selected him to be a prophet and meant for him to be a prophet. But what was the means of that? What was the path to that? When Allah subhanaw taala spoke to Musa alayhis salam and granted and Prophethood musala made this powerful dua to Allah that is mentioned in the Quran. Rubbish rally Saudi why a silly emri wallula oppa that Amelie Sani Yahoo Howdy. It's a very powerful beautiful day I might just do a weekly video on that one later inshallah. But he goes on to say, which was your main alley? He says, Oh Allah give me an aid give me a helper from my family somebody I can trust

00:02:04--> 00:02:47

Haruna he my brother Huddleston would be great who shouldn't be he ezri strengthen my back like like strengthen me through him provided him to me as support and what's very interesting is as a refers to the lower back so just like when you lift something heavy and you put on like a back brace back support. So he says make Hello my back support so I can lift this great way that Oh Allah you have entrusted me with who should be here as rewashing a coffee nominee make him a partner in this mission of mine, gaming sub B hacker Cathy Ron, so that we may glorify You abundantly. When I've called aka Kathy Ron and we will remember you abundantly in that cocoon, Sabina Basilan in you are

00:02:47--> 00:03:32

watching over us. So Musan a salon appeals to Allah subhanho wa Taala to a point how to not only his Salaam, his brother, also as a prophet, alongside of him and in and make him a partner in this mission that he is being sent on. You know, a lot of times when we talk about a sign of manlihood or somebody being a tough guy, then, you know, it's like I work alone. I don't work with any partners. I'm a lone wolf. You know, this type of mentality is out there a lot of times, well, Musa alayhis salam is a prophet of Allah. And he's even described as being as a prophet of Allah, Who is very strong, very manly, so to speak, or a man's man, a tough guy. And he's asking for help. He's asking

00:03:32--> 00:03:56

for support. He's asking for a partner on this mission. So it goes to show you that identifying the task ahead and realizing what you're going to need in your task is intelligence. And it does not contradict if I'm going to need help some support and asking for that help. And support does not contradict any type of ability, or manliness or strength or courage, but its intelligence.

00:03:57--> 00:04:41

Now, another place in the cosmos actually, sooner number 28, Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us about musala he said, I'm making these requests for Allah, I am number 34 and 35. And so then number 28. He says, Well, he had one, why did he specifically request Harun? alehissalaam so we're learning about how to nourish him? Who was Harun Elisa? Obviously he's the brother of mutualism. So he says, was he Rahman Ali? I need somebody I can trust somebody I know. But secondly, why Harun Allah His Salam? Well, he Harun he says my brother Harun, who are upset homie Neely sonnen. He is a lot more eloquent in speech than I am. He is a lot more well spoken than I am. He speaks much more clearly

00:04:42--> 00:05:00

than I do. have so many listen for our salumeria So he says, I will also send him with me You suck the pony. He will help me communicate and make my point. He will back me up in the UK they won't because I'm afraid that these people might not listen to me. They

00:05:00--> 00:05:45

I try to call me a liar and try to reject me. Allah subhanaw taala said center should do, I'll do the center should do Abu dakka be Africa, Allah subhanaw taala said that we will strengthen your arm through your prophet meaning we will give you the support that you need in order to carry out your task through your brother, we will make your brother your support when ajala Kumasi was born. And we will give both of you authority we will appoint both of you as prophets of Allah for like I say Luna, la Kuma, and they won't be able to get to you. So we learn a little bit about Harun Ali salam, he is very mature, very intelligent, very devout. And he's also extremely eloquent and well spoken.

00:05:45--> 00:05:52

And this kind of corroborates with some of the narrations that we know about how to not be so dumb that he was like a preacher. He was like a public speaker.

00:05:53--> 00:06:26

And what was the outcome of this? So So what is the lesson to take home from this, the lesson that we take from this is that anybody who is working for the dean, you know, anyone who is striving to make the world a better place. It's not so much about admitting what you can't do. But it's very important to understand to identify and recognize the talents that others have, and not be too arrogant to be able to admit somebody else's good at something that I'm not good at.

00:06:27--> 00:07:08

That's very important. And then when you find people who have talents, and who have abilities, who can contribute something valuable, valuable, identify it, admit it, recognize it, praise them for it, recruit them based on it, because we have to understand that at the end of the day, we're not in competition with each other. We're all on the same team. We're all on the same team, the team of Islam, the theme of Allah, the theme of the Messenger of Allah, the team of the Quran, the team of the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu sallam, we're all on Team Islam. And so we don't have any type of these petty conflicts and beefs and arrogance and conceit and insecurities. We don't play these

00:07:08--> 00:07:41

silly games, but we embrace each other, and we embrace each other's talents and abilities. And we facilitate people to be able to contribute and really be able to take the mission further through their talents and their abilities. And we see a great prophet of Allah musante salam identify that in his brotherhood when he speaks better than I do, yeah, Allah, send them with me make him a partner in my mission. How do you know he said, I'm if we take a look at those narrations, where he mentions that he's older than mutalisks. And that means this is his younger brother.

00:07:42--> 00:08:18

But he's not threatened by that musante. Sam is obviously the one in charge, the one who leads the one who's holding the staff, the one who conducts all the miracles, but he's the one who goes to communicate with the law and the mountain of tool. But how long is Amazon intimidated by that? He's not looking to undercut him. He's not bothered by this. But he understands I have a contribution and he has a contribution, because we're all working for the same goal at the end of the day, to please Allah to serve the home of the prophets a lot he sent him and to take this Deen further, we need to keep that in mind. And when people are willing to work with each other and identify that, what's the

00:08:18--> 00:09:04

benefit, and the benefit is when Musa alayhis salam goes to the mountain of food, and he comes back and he finds the people doing schilke and while that's a really bad thing, Harun Ali Salam practiced great wisdom. While masala Sam was away, and this should have took place amongst Vanessa in amongst the followers, where he says in the Hashi to an takuna for rock the bane of any Israel. While I'm Tara Foley, I was afraid that you would say in a hurry to enter Kula for rakata benavente side that you permanently divided the people and you did not listen to what I told you. So how do you know Allah Hassan handled things so tactically tactfully that he held things down until musante. Sam

00:09:04--> 00:09:46

could get back and settle the matter and the issue, but he did not create a civil war amongst women who is sorry, that wisdom came in handy when musala his alarm was willing to admit He's talented, and I need him. And Haruna Allison was willing to say he, he might be younger than me that but he's leading here, but they worked together. And together they were able to accomplish and achieve remarkable things. And that's why Allah subhanaw taala tells us about them in the Quran as well. So this is a story of the Great Prophet Harun Ali Hassan, who Allah subhanaw taala mentioned by name multiple times, when the when the when the magician's when the magicians fell into servitude and

00:09:46--> 00:09:51

stated their Imani and Allah. In Surah Taha, they said, Rob Bihar una Moosa.

00:09:52--> 00:09:59

manabi Robbie Haruna homicide, they said, We believe in the Lord the master Rob, of Harun and Musa, they said Harun before Musa

00:10:00--> 00:10:26

So Harun Aaron Haruna Li Salam is a great prophet of Allah. I just thought I'd share a little bit about him with you today here, just from Allah Hayden. I hope everyone's benefiting in sha Allah from the stories of the prophets. Don't forget to share this with family and friends. May Allah subhanho wa Taala allow us to be more like the great prophets in the Messenger of Allah until x weekly, jack ma hi Ron are Salam alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
