You're listening to the productive Muslim podcast, season three, Episode 17

00:00:18--> 00:01:02

Santa Monica, and welcome to day 17 of the productive Muslim podcast if you're still with me, and listening to these podcasts and doing the tasks of this challenge, I am super proud of you. Now for today, our talks are going to be, we are basically going to be preparing you for the last 10 days of Ramadan, because obviously, those are the days where we really, really, really want to take advantage of things. So your article is called your Toba to do list now. And this is very important because within certain communities, there is a certain mentality that when you've done a sin, you are tarnished by that sin, and you're remembered for that sin. And then sometimes there's also this

00:01:02--> 00:01:42

mentality that some Muslims have that if they've done a sin, they can't go back to Allah subhanaw taala that this thing is too big, or they've been committing sin for so long, that there's no point turning back. There's no point trying to seek forgiveness. And what this article really makes you realize is that Allah truly is Allah for Allah truly is the one who forgives. And there is one very, very beautiful area in the Quran, where Allah subhanho wa Taala said, Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and love those who purify themselves. Now, I need you guys to think about this because Allah doesn't love the person once he's done repentance once he has finished repenting

00:01:42--> 00:02:19

or stopped doing this in Allah loves the person who has constantly repented. So will no matter how many times you've done sin, even if you've gone back to that same sin, but you turn back to Allah and you know that Allah is giving you an unlimited amount of chances and not even just unlimited amount of chances. Because what do humans do, when you do something wrong, a human will forgive you, but they won't forget. And if you end up slipping up again, they will bring up what you've done in the past. Whereas the last panel daily you do a sin, you seek forgiveness for Allah has wiped your slate clean, and that sin is not going to come back. Allah loves those who constantly repent, you

00:02:19--> 00:02:59

sin and you tend to Allah to forgive to and to ask Him to forgive you. At that moment, Allah loves you, you have endless love, and I want you to think about how great and inspiring that is. So with this tober to do this, I want you guys to start reflecting, reflect on things that you want to change, reflect on the time that perhaps you've wasted, reflect on the relationships that you may have severed, or reflect on the things that you may have said about someone behind their back. I want you to reflect on the things that you want to seek forgiveness from Allah subhanaw taala for and I want you guys to realize that it is never ever too late to ask for forgiveness. And it is

00:02:59--> 00:03:35

never ever too late to seek Allah's love. And this article insha Allah is going to help you get into the correct mindset to recognize because our Eman is something that fluctuates, you know, especially this month of Ramadan, Ramadan tends to be a month where people are on a high and they become practicing and you know, they're doing so much for their Deen. But then after Ramadan finishes, they experience like a slump. Or what actually tends to happen in Ramadan is there tends to be a bit of a Ramadan slump. So you started off Ramadan really pumped, you had a whole list of things that you were going to do.

00:03:37--> 00:04:17

And now that you're midway through Ramadan is not happening. I tell you what happens to me sometimes in previous Ramadan. So I make a commitment to myself that I'm going to finish the whole of the quarter and I'm going to finish reading the whole other content. And so I commit myself to doing one just a day. And I started off the first four or five days and I am on point. And then I get to the sixth or seventh day and I've slowed down on my reading or I'm I'm basically I haven't done enough one day so I have to make it up the next day. And then the next day it just becomes too intense. And then by the middle of Ramadan. I told myself, you know what, okay, fine. Maybe if I do forges a day,

00:04:17--> 00:04:55

I will manage to finish it merrigan mind that even we wonders I still managed to fall behind and I'm giving myself a target of forges a day. It is never too late. Okay, whatever slump you're experiencing, if it's a slump in your amen if it's a Ramadan slump. Today is your day make Toba for whatever it is that you want to do, and make a sincere intention to Allah to make things better to regret whatever you have done, and to improve upon it and be productive, not the rest of your task for today. If you are listening to this podcast in the evening, then you're going to do this particular task The next morning, you're going to make breakfast for a family member. And breakfast

00:04:55--> 00:04:59

can be anything if you want to go out of your way and make pancakes with whipped cream and fruit

00:05:00--> 00:05:40

Go ahead and do that. If you'd like to be simple and make cereal with some milk and give it to someone as a gift to save them the effort, then go ahead, but your task is to make breakfast for someone in your family. And your last task is to make to have for someone that you are not on good terms with. This could be someone who has hurt you or someone who you've actually hurt and you are going to make to have for them you're going to make to her and ask Allah to forgive their sins. ask Allah to guide them, ask Allah to bless them, because essentially we all want the best for everyone. So these are your tasks for today. I hope you have a wonderful day and I will be with you for day 18

00:05:40--> 00:05:53

where we are going to look at how to maximize the last 10 nights of Ramadan. We need to be prepared for these extra amazing days be it Mila I hope you have a wonderful day and I will be ready tomorrow with Mr Kumar Lucha barakato
