Nouman Ali Khan – Darkness To Light- Looking At It At A Quranic Perspective

Nouman Ali Khan

Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan talks beautifully about how the Qur’an talks about the believers being pulled out of the darkness into the light on multiple occasions and the one occasion that he shares with us in this lecture is the Ayat of Ayatul Kursi.

Reciting the Qur’an and listening to the recitation of the Qur’an is not only an act of worship but also benefits our Emaan. Of course, it also fulfills the beautiful Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.

‘Ayatul Kursi’ – This grand Aayah of the Qur’an, “Saidatul Ayat Al Qur’an”, the chief Ayah of Qur’an is where Allah describes some of His most fundamental qualities and how Incredible and Awesome He is, how Magnificent He is. That there is no one worthy of worship, only He is, in any shape or form except He is. The Ayah is about darkness and light.

Hence, in our lifetime, we need to confess to Allah what our darknesses are such as laziness, not paying attention in Salah, having filthy habits that nobody knows about, anger, hiding secrets, cheated someone, lied against, etc. we have to admit them to Allah and then ask to pull us out of that darkness.  Those who disbelieved and are ungrateful are the same sources of rebellion, then that’s the only protection they get from those entities.

Allah brings them out of the light into various shades of darkness. How so? Listen intently to find out.

The segment discusses the negative effects of darkness on the listener's perception of reality and the importance of reciting the Bible and learning about Islam as a tool for refreshment. The speakers emphasize the need for people to not acknowledge the darkness of life and to not feel the effects of the darkness. The segment also touches on the rebellion movement and the importance of protecting everyone from it, as well as the difference between C and C in Arabic language, and the need for people to act like their "light," "rocky," and "monster" titles.

00:00:25 --> 00:00:33
			Coming up to discuss a topic it's titled darkness to light looking at perspective.

00:01:31 --> 00:01:31
			Law

00:01:35 --> 00:01:36
			what's your

00:01:38 --> 00:01:49
			104?

00:02:16 --> 00:02:17
			A long way.

00:02:47 --> 00:02:48
			For

00:02:54 --> 00:02:55
			me,

00:03:04 --> 00:03:05
			Allah.

00:03:06 --> 00:03:12
			Before, I'm talking about the believers who pulled out of darknesses multiple shades of darkness
into light

00:03:13 --> 00:03:48
			on multiple occasions, and the one occasion that I want to talk to you a little bit about in this
session is the one I decided to. I chose to recite the passage in the beginning because I believe
that reciting the Quran and listening to the recitation of the Quran, not only is not an act of
worship, but it actually is a it has an effect on all human listening to the rest of the show on the
one side, and the one listening also effects and benefits. And if we're going to benefit from
something from the understanding of these ions, you should also benefit from the bottle COVID
certification.

00:03:49 --> 00:03:53
			plus of course it fulfills a beautiful some of the profits of the lohani we send them

00:03:55 --> 00:04:00
			return to the people precisely I'll talk to the people in a case.

00:04:01 --> 00:04:07
			If you notice, I started reciting with the idea that probably most of you have memorized which I
always

00:04:08 --> 00:04:11
			receive this grant,

00:04:15 --> 00:04:17
			the grand leader, the chief

00:04:19 --> 00:04:52
			allows religion describes some of his most fundamental qualities, and how incredibly how awesome he
is how magnificent he is, that there is no one of worthy aversion for obedience in any way shape or
form. Except now you have to understand social McCullough is a murky surah already saw rather, the
prophet has already moved to Medina and the Wilsons, some of them have been loosened from the very
beginning and some of them relatively new but all of them understand the basics of Islam. And the
most basic teaching of Islam is not

00:04:53 --> 00:04:59
			right. It's the most basic teaching of Islam and this far into the message of Islam Allah

00:05:00 --> 00:05:02
			chooses to reveal an ayah. That goes back to the basics.

00:05:03 --> 00:05:05
			As far as this is like, should be like,

00:05:07 --> 00:05:08
			you should be learning about

00:05:12 --> 00:05:12
			this as well.

00:05:13 --> 00:05:28
			You know why? Because you're not just information, the reminder, because somebody can say dialog
alive via Listen, but they not conscious of what that really means. And so especially in the middle
people on when we hear about the man, when we hear,

00:05:29 --> 00:05:36
			they're actually a reminder to the Muslims that they need to refresh the mind, they need to go back
to those basics that I

00:05:39 --> 00:05:40
			never heard it before.

00:05:43 --> 00:05:45
			And this is one of the one of the beautiful things in our faith is

00:05:46 --> 00:05:54
			the revival of money. Because our faith is not just an intellectual thing. Everybody knows I love
everybody here knows

00:05:57 --> 00:06:09
			what you know what our hearts and our minds are two different things, the heart needs to be reminded
of light, it wasn't shaken by it, we don't feel the love, sometimes the

00:06:10 --> 00:06:18
			reminders of Sophie and the lightness of us attributes are hard to teach us, they're actually going
to take us up unless

00:06:25 --> 00:06:29
			their heart should be full of fear from the remembrance of Allah.

00:06:31 --> 00:06:33
			And because of whatever came down from the truth

00:06:36 --> 00:06:36
			of

00:06:39 --> 00:06:39
			the Word.

00:06:43 --> 00:06:45
			And we shouldn't be associating partners with a month

00:06:49 --> 00:06:50
			about that.

00:07:08 --> 00:07:08
			What

00:07:10 --> 00:07:10
			is going on,

00:07:12 --> 00:07:13
			by the way, every time

00:07:17 --> 00:07:19
			it's supposed to destroy some form of ship.

00:07:41 --> 00:07:41
			Bye

00:07:43 --> 00:07:50
			kind of shift creeping into what is supposed to be a believing community and this form of

00:07:52 --> 00:07:53
			hypocrisy.

00:07:54 --> 00:07:59
			So just like the outside has to be destroyed by why.

00:08:01 --> 00:08:05
			Just like that, the inside will be destroyed by

00:08:10 --> 00:08:15
			the movie, the source of all life, the meteor of all things and the source of all things.

00:08:16 --> 00:08:33
			All things that exists when somebody internalizes that, they realize how much I think I have
accomplished, none of that was me. None of that was me. All of that was a lie. I have no credit. I
take no credit.

00:08:36 --> 00:08:53
			There are so many people that are more qualified than I am that are more intelligent than I am that
are better than I am. That alone will not give opportunity to and there are so many more that are
much less qualified than I am. Way more opportunities than me because he's the source.

00:08:55 --> 00:08:59
			Then you realize that your life isn't actually yours.

00:09:00 --> 00:09:07
			It's not yours. It's a gift given by Allah. Which means you can be taken at any moment because he's
alive.

00:09:08 --> 00:09:10
			He is literally living

00:09:12 --> 00:09:12
			that life.

00:09:19 --> 00:09:22
			Anyone else any other

00:09:24 --> 00:09:25
			time.

00:09:34 --> 00:09:35
			By the way,

00:09:38 --> 00:09:55
			he keeps saying he owns everything the size of the Earth. He owns everything in the size of the
Earth. He says he owns everything the size of the Earth or whatever. The size of the Earth
exclusively. He is the only owner of the size of the Earth.

00:09:56 --> 00:09:59
			He only buy your house and your name is on the title.

00:10:01 --> 00:10:07
			It says older and it says your name. When you pay off your, let's say, Islamic mortgage.

00:10:09 --> 00:10:17
			And you finally get the deed. And it says owner of the property in your name. That's right on top of
that is some LSU.

00:10:19 --> 00:10:20
			in mind,

00:10:23 --> 00:10:28
			remember that, who thinks when they go into their car, this is not my car,

00:10:29 --> 00:10:36
			who thinks when they go into their closet and putting their clothes on behind my clothes, is given
to me who looks at a hand.

00:10:37 --> 00:10:39
			And this is this is my hair

00:10:40 --> 00:10:41
			in my head

00:10:43 --> 00:10:44
			that I didn't hate for.

00:10:47 --> 00:10:53
			He owns everything in the size of the Earth, thinking about that routine that we live.

00:10:58 --> 00:11:11
			And when you realize he owes everything, he's in complete charge of everything, then where are you
going to go, you know, we go to something, you go to the judge because he owns authority.

00:11:12 --> 00:11:16
			You go to the store, because they own merchandise, you

00:11:17 --> 00:11:26
			own some expertise, you go to different sources, because they own something unique. That's the
world, we depend on each other because each of us

00:11:31 --> 00:11:33
			will become very clear who owns everything.

00:11:35 --> 00:11:36
			In this world, every one of us.

00:11:38 --> 00:11:54
			Either something's I need for my family, there's something my family needs. For me. There's
something I need for my work, something might work. For me, there's something that needs government
and my government need something from me this is a world of paper to

00:11:58 --> 00:12:01
			be clear about the nice.

00:12:08 --> 00:12:08
			Advance.

00:12:09 --> 00:12:30
			So we only have clothes on when we have no friends. Anybody has disappeared. Nobody. Nobody is the
greatest symbol of humanity ever. And yet you feel the loneliness you have ever felt in your entire
life. At the same time,

00:12:32 --> 00:12:34
			you still need someone

00:12:36 --> 00:12:38
			to speak on your behalf.

00:12:43 --> 00:12:45
			case on his behalf.

00:12:47 --> 00:12:48
			Unless if the logins and permission,

00:12:50 --> 00:12:53
			you're gonna need somebody to speak on your behalf, you will get

00:12:55 --> 00:12:57
			permission, granted that permission. So

00:13:01 --> 00:13:02
			you know, this is

00:13:07 --> 00:13:11
			very important in order to communicate in English.

00:13:14 --> 00:13:15
			Who at all

00:13:27 --> 00:13:35
			scores were coming before the judge. And when you come before the judge, they're supposed to bring
your case. If you're trying to defend

00:13:37 --> 00:13:41
			the accused excuse, you're in court, when you come before the judge.

00:13:42 --> 00:13:48
			You're supposed to say Oh, your lawyer is supposed to say, Well, Your Honor, you don't know the
whole story.

00:13:49 --> 00:13:49
			I know.

00:13:51 --> 00:14:03
			some background information. He had a tough childhood society messed him up. It was his friend's
fault. There's some background information that your honor you should consider before you punish
him.

00:14:04 --> 00:14:08
			So the lawyer tries to bring up new evidence to defend his

00:14:16 --> 00:14:29
			he knows what is in front of them what they're presenting everything behind them. He has more
information, background information about them, they have about themselves. What are you going to
bring in front of a month? What is he going to bring in front of a logic

00:14:35 --> 00:14:39
			on the one hand, he knows everything in front and behind you

00:14:41 --> 00:14:45
			know about ourselves and on the other hand, we

00:14:49 --> 00:14:52
			able to encompass anything from his knowledge

00:14:56 --> 00:14:57
			knowledge

00:15:02 --> 00:15:03
			Something

00:15:05 --> 00:15:07
			that combined is a small

00:15:15 --> 00:15:16
			one of my favorite

00:15:20 --> 00:15:20
			were born

00:15:22 --> 00:15:25
			mothers every one of us came out of my mother's

00:15:32 --> 00:15:33
			Mother's

00:15:37 --> 00:15:40
			Day didn't deliver you the C section

00:15:43 --> 00:15:48
			out of your mother's because there were so many more that came out without life.

00:15:50 --> 00:15:51
			There are so many more

00:15:56 --> 00:15:59
			the successful delivery and then he said

00:16:02 --> 00:16:03
			no

00:16:06 --> 00:16:14
			he didn't say you know anything cuz when he brought you out of your your mother pass we'll

00:16:27 --> 00:16:27
			see

00:16:30 --> 00:16:32
			you still don't know anything.

00:16:35 --> 00:16:42
			He didn't just say he brought you out of your mind and you didn't know anything. He said he brought
you out of your mother's and you still don't know anything.

00:16:44 --> 00:16:44
			What are you

00:16:47 --> 00:16:49
			doing? They're putting us in our face.

00:16:51 --> 00:16:55
			The angels have access to the unseen we read.

00:16:59 --> 00:17:03
			We read. We read about the angels we read.

00:17:06 --> 00:17:06
			We read.

00:17:10 --> 00:17:12
			They have way more knowledge than we do.

00:17:19 --> 00:17:21
			They know more about ourselves.

00:17:33 --> 00:17:34
			We have no knowledge.

00:17:35 --> 00:17:36
			We don't know.

00:17:39 --> 00:17:39
			Anything.

00:17:48 --> 00:17:48
			That's all we know.

00:17:52 --> 00:18:06
			This puts the believer in his place. He's supposed to put us in our place. Yvonne is about putting
yourself down. You don't declare greatness until you realize how low you are humble I am. That's

00:18:07 --> 00:18:07
			the

00:18:10 --> 00:18:14
			only bonus. There is no higher position.

00:18:17 --> 00:18:17
			And there is no

00:18:21 --> 00:18:27
			there's no job description lower than in the world. Sleep is the lowest you can go You can't go more
than

00:18:29 --> 00:18:29
			he can't.

00:18:36 --> 00:18:37
			So he says

00:18:40 --> 00:18:41
			for whatever he wants

00:18:46 --> 00:18:52
			his soul his kingdom expands the size of the Earth extends to the size of the Earth.

00:18:55 --> 00:18:55
			And garden.

00:18:57 --> 00:19:05
			Gardening tip is mentioned to please remember this. Allah says Barney the size of the Earth does not
exhaust him. What have you learned from that? Don't tell me.

00:19:06 --> 00:19:08
			Okay, license plate number No.

00:19:11 --> 00:19:12
			license plate

00:19:13 --> 00:19:17
			as the other one chicken sandwich available for women veterans.

00:19:19 --> 00:19:20
			Okay, all right, thank you.

00:19:23 --> 00:19:27
			I'll never forget. But anyway, so we were doing something about Islam or something.

00:19:29 --> 00:19:30
			So

00:19:31 --> 00:19:31
			a lot of them

00:19:34 --> 00:19:34
			when

00:19:35 --> 00:19:39
			my garden the size of the Earth doesn't exhaust him. He didn't.

00:19:41 --> 00:19:46
			He didn't just tell us he owns the universe. He also told us he guards it.

00:19:50 --> 00:19:59
			The guards, the guards. The guards aside, the guards the cloud, the guards the little bird that
leaves the next he guards the exits.

00:20:01 --> 00:20:03
			He goes up when we get in our car.

00:20:05 --> 00:20:20
			He guards my children when they get on the bus. There is no way that bus will reach the school until
my guard says it will not. The security system you have installed at home does not guard your house,
a lot of us

00:20:21 --> 00:20:28
			alive is already in our health. Alive is already our money. It's not the FDIC insurance is not
alive.

00:20:30 --> 00:20:35
			Alive is guarding entire nations, human beings at every moment of every day,

00:20:37 --> 00:20:39
			Guardian, all of this is not exhaustive.

00:20:41 --> 00:20:43
			When you think about Guardian, a

00:20:46 --> 00:20:49
			human being know that Guardian, something comes with the Boston

00:20:51 --> 00:20:52
			security guard.

00:20:57 --> 00:20:59
			It's exhausting to have to

00:21:03 --> 00:21:04
			go to see

00:21:06 --> 00:21:13
			us. A lot of the jobs get exhausted during the entire universe in all of existence.

00:21:17 --> 00:21:18
			Is the ultimately high.

00:21:21 --> 00:21:21
			Now

00:21:23 --> 00:21:23
			this

00:21:27 --> 00:21:28
			then tells us

00:21:32 --> 00:21:42
			there's no no need. And there's absolutely no room to force anybody in any way shape or form into
the religion. There's no coercion.

00:21:45 --> 00:21:48
			Why does he say that? You don't have to tell people to come?

00:22:00 --> 00:22:01
			imagination.

00:22:09 --> 00:22:12
			You hear parents are yelling at their children? A lot.

00:22:13 --> 00:22:15
			A lot. Yeah, Mom, I know, I know. I know. I

00:22:17 --> 00:22:20
			know, you you think oh my god, it's so annoying.

00:22:22 --> 00:22:24
			Mom comes back and tells me the nice laws and

00:22:25 --> 00:22:26
			you know,

00:22:28 --> 00:22:29
			because you don't care

00:22:38 --> 00:22:39
			super fast.

00:22:42 --> 00:22:43
			Unless, you know,

00:22:46 --> 00:22:47
			your parents might

00:22:53 --> 00:22:53
			have

00:22:57 --> 00:23:00
			the straight path has already been made very clear for

00:23:04 --> 00:23:05
			people who want to

00:23:16 --> 00:23:19
			image whoever will deny forces of rebellion.

00:23:20 --> 00:23:38
			There are forces of rebellion that wants you to believe in them. There is rebellious urges inside of
you that want you to believe that your temptations will lead you to happiness, that that's what you
should believe in. There are forces inside of you the things that make you think your greed is good
for you. Your prime is good for you.

00:23:41 --> 00:23:42
			Good for you.

00:23:51 --> 00:23:56
			Whoever fights the forces of rebellion inside and outside, outside

00:23:57 --> 00:23:59
			is like the leaders of

00:24:02 --> 00:24:03
			the idols inside.

00:24:05 --> 00:24:08
			forces inside whoever can deny them successfully.

00:24:15 --> 00:24:21
			You can't leave it alone if you haven't conquered the forces of rebellion until you put the
rebellion down.

00:24:28 --> 00:24:37
			The sewer began talking about a father who knew about Allah who believes in Allah to worship a lot.
What is internal rebellion?

00:24:40 --> 00:24:41
			Actually, even

00:24:43 --> 00:24:44
			to Allah

00:24:47 --> 00:24:49
			give me time until the day that

00:24:53 --> 00:24:57
			he asks for something when you ask someone for something What is it called?

00:24:59 --> 00:25:00
			So

00:25:00 --> 00:25:03
			What is he? He has a rebel in Silicon

00:25:12 --> 00:25:13
			Valley

00:25:20 --> 00:25:20
			that's not

00:25:24 --> 00:25:26
			enough then this person

00:25:27 --> 00:25:28
			down inside of them

00:25:32 --> 00:25:33
			holding on to an anchor

00:25:34 --> 00:25:36
			of a ship. That is so well.

00:25:37 --> 00:25:41
			He's holding on to that anchor. Now what brings an anchor where's it

00:25:43 --> 00:25:43
			where's

00:25:50 --> 00:25:51
			the water because the

00:25:52 --> 00:25:54
			water you're in the water

00:25:56 --> 00:26:04
			the anchors drop ship needs to stay stable. So you're in a storm in the ocean you are going to drown

00:26:06 --> 00:26:07
			we

00:26:09 --> 00:26:11
			put the rebellion down and hold on.

00:26:13 --> 00:26:15
			Holding on to that anchor

00:26:19 --> 00:26:26
			in that armor that doesn't break. You're saving yourself. Again I don't need you. If you need me

00:26:31 --> 00:26:34
			Go ahead. Go ahead.

00:26:36 --> 00:26:38
			Holding on to something that doesn't disappoint.

00:26:41 --> 00:26:46
			And then comes the next time the darkness and light

00:26:47 --> 00:26:47
			now

00:26:49 --> 00:26:50
			ocean in the

00:26:52 --> 00:26:59
			darkness upon darkness. The imagery is all connected and talks about

00:27:07 --> 00:27:09
			the ocean. So deep

00:27:18 --> 00:27:21
			dark clouds there's this dark dark dark dark place

00:27:24 --> 00:27:39
			and it's a cloudy night so even the moonlight can't get through the stars. Because you would imagine
a nighttime in the ocean you might think the moon is reflecting right on the water you imagine that
sea but what keeps shining through

00:27:40 --> 00:27:41
			the clouds.

00:27:43 --> 00:27:45
			The clouds are there. Big one whatever my

00:27:47 --> 00:27:53
			absolute pitch dark in the ocean. Holding on to this anchor if you can.

00:27:55 --> 00:28:01
			A lot is a protective friend of those who believe I want you to imagine

00:28:03 --> 00:28:06
			the imagery here. The imagery a lot.

00:28:07 --> 00:28:11
			You just fell off the ship. You have a friend on board the ship.

00:28:14 --> 00:28:15
			Different kinds of friends

00:28:19 --> 00:28:20
			miss you.

00:28:31 --> 00:28:33
			He wants to protect you.

00:28:35 --> 00:28:39
			He wants to protect you will tell you Hey, hold on the anchor and I don't want

00:28:42 --> 00:28:46
			that kind of a friend that wants to protect you is actually

00:28:50 --> 00:28:51
			protecting one

00:28:56 --> 00:28:57
			time that's actually a

00:28:59 --> 00:29:03
			friend that acts like they're your buddy until you need them and they disappear.

00:29:05 --> 00:29:06
			When they disappear.

00:29:07 --> 00:29:08
			You know

00:29:09 --> 00:29:12
			the kind of friend who's always hanging out with you

00:29:13 --> 00:29:15
			is always there. He talks to you a lot

00:29:25 --> 00:29:25
			on

00:29:27 --> 00:29:31
			the go all the way to the bottom of the angels coming from the other side and

00:29:33 --> 00:29:34
			I got nothing to do with this.

00:29:35 --> 00:29:36
			You guys on your own.

00:29:38 --> 00:29:39
			I missed you as far as I can.

00:29:41 --> 00:29:42
			You know,

00:29:43 --> 00:29:44
			a lot of calls themselves

00:29:46 --> 00:29:47
			along with

00:29:49 --> 00:29:55
			a lot of the protective friends of those who have come to the faith. This is a very heavy Ayah
because Allah did not say for

00:29:58 --> 00:29:59
			a long time

00:30:01 --> 00:30:05
			The difference in the Arabic language between C and C

00:30:06 --> 00:30:09
			is the difference was verbal in nature

00:30:12 --> 00:30:13
			represents permanence.

00:30:22 --> 00:30:25
			People who have already attained success

00:30:28 --> 00:30:29
			even criticize,

00:30:35 --> 00:30:36
			criticize,

00:30:37 --> 00:30:37
			criticize,

00:30:43 --> 00:30:45
			but it hasn't become concrete here.

00:30:53 --> 00:30:58
			He is offering his protective friendship to the person who has

00:30:59 --> 00:31:05
			the strongest bordering on doesn't matter if he or she says

00:31:09 --> 00:31:12
			allies offering his protective help if you want

00:31:17 --> 00:31:20
			to become your woody doesn't matter what state of mind you are.

00:31:23 --> 00:31:25
			Doesn't matter what level you're at

00:31:26 --> 00:31:27
			to the highest level

00:31:32 --> 00:31:32
			all

00:31:40 --> 00:31:43
			our various shades of darkness,

00:31:48 --> 00:31:50
			darkness into the light.

00:31:53 --> 00:31:54
			Darkness

00:31:57 --> 00:32:00
			doesn't mean you have to have some darkness.

00:32:04 --> 00:32:06
			Darkness, multiple shades of darkness,

00:32:07 --> 00:32:09
			the darkness of envy,

00:32:10 --> 00:32:11
			anger,

00:32:14 --> 00:32:17
			of narcissism and self obsession

00:32:21 --> 00:32:23
			of cheating and lying and stealing

00:32:25 --> 00:32:26
			would it

00:32:31 --> 00:32:35
			be willing to pull you out to light

00:32:36 --> 00:32:37
			to the light?

00:32:38 --> 00:32:47
			You notice before Allah started talking that he owns everything. He owns everything that he talks
about he guards everything.

00:32:51 --> 00:32:53
			He wants to protect you especially

00:32:54 --> 00:33:02
			he's protecting the entire universe even protecting the ocean he was routing. He was protecting the
anchor you're holding, but he's offering you special protection

00:33:08 --> 00:33:13
			and he continues to change is not a one time fee. I love it. I can feel

00:33:15 --> 00:33:21
			closer to 11 I've ever felt before but it's done now. No, it's not. It's up to

00:33:24 --> 00:33:26
			you keep going back to a lot of

00:33:31 --> 00:33:33
			beautiful things I heard when I was

00:33:35 --> 00:33:35
			at college.

00:33:48 --> 00:33:50
			Before you make me who you are

00:33:55 --> 00:33:58
			what they are nobody else. You know what they are you have.

00:34:02 --> 00:34:05
			You have goofy habits that nobody knows about.

00:34:07 --> 00:34:09
			You're hiding secrets. You

00:34:12 --> 00:34:15
			know what they are, you have to

00:34:16 --> 00:34:18
			pull them out of that pull you out of that dark place.

00:34:24 --> 00:34:24
			And

00:34:30 --> 00:34:34
			then they're protected friends, just the same forces of

00:34:36 --> 00:34:36
			production.

00:34:38 --> 00:34:39
			So those entities,

00:34:43 --> 00:34:43
			he brings them

00:34:45 --> 00:34:48
			into various shades of darkness.

00:34:49 --> 00:34:52
			disbelievers in life, because it says

00:34:53 --> 00:34:55
			from light into darkness.

00:35:01 --> 00:35:02
			Darkness.

00:35:06 --> 00:35:08
			All human beings start off with light.

00:35:10 --> 00:35:12
			We all sort of we don't we're not born into sin.

00:35:15 --> 00:35:31
			This is the mind. that teaches us that human beings are born in the mind. They have the potential.
When they don't exercise that muscle, then it goes into darkness. One of the most wise anecdotes and
examples to help me understand is that one of my teachers, for

00:35:34 --> 00:35:37
			example, he says, You don't exercise a muscle and get stronger.

00:35:40 --> 00:35:51
			muscles get weaker. And you know, if somebody's lying in bed, they're lying in bed for six months,
six months, 10 months, if you don't get up. After 10 months,

00:35:54 --> 00:35:54
			they lose.

00:35:56 --> 00:35:59
			The ability to except guidance is a muscle.

00:36:01 --> 00:36:11
			If you exercise that muscle and get stronger, if you don't exercise that muscle reminder comes to
you advice when opportunity comes to you.

00:36:13 --> 00:36:15
			And you ignore it and you ignore it.

00:36:18 --> 00:36:22
			Until that muscle dies, doesn't matter if it's

00:36:24 --> 00:36:27
			the greatest of all teachers and speakers speak

00:36:29 --> 00:36:33
			for ourselves, because your muscle is dead.

00:36:35 --> 00:36:38
			Because you didn't exercise it when we're still alive.

00:36:41 --> 00:36:42
			Still alive.

00:36:47 --> 00:36:53
			The rebellious forces the rebellious urges inside of us pull people people out of life that

00:36:54 --> 00:36:59
			endow them with in with their birth, and puts them back into shades of darkness, who

00:37:01 --> 00:37:12
			knows are going to be the people of fire. Those are the people of fire the companions of fire, which
still remain the last nuance I'll share with you. It's difficult to hear because it has to do with
the Arabic language, I'm going to try my best

00:37:13 --> 00:37:15
			to understand the challenge.

00:37:16 --> 00:37:32
			And that is like you know, there are two comparisons. There's a comparison in this ayah. And it's
higher this comparison between two relationships. believers have a relationship with a law, and the
disbelievers have a relationship with the entities of rebellion.

00:37:33 --> 00:37:39
			Right believers have a relationship with a law and disbelievers with what is inherently called.

00:37:40 --> 00:37:49
			Extremely rebellious, which is inside and outside as I mentioned, and the name of both relationships
is the same a lot to us is

00:37:51 --> 00:37:51
			the name of

00:37:58 --> 00:37:59
			the relationship between

00:38:04 --> 00:38:06
			it's the same relationship, so

00:38:07 --> 00:38:13
			I can build it slowly. Two relationships are being completed. Now. Let me hear from you. What's the
first relationship between

00:38:19 --> 00:38:20
			courses The second

00:38:36 --> 00:38:37
			way in the first relationship?

00:38:39 --> 00:38:40
			Hello.

00:38:55 --> 00:38:57
			dominates party,

00:38:59 --> 00:39:04
			party, party, teachers, student, parent, child why

00:39:17 --> 00:39:20
			in this relationship who's the dominant party

00:39:22 --> 00:39:23
			leaders

00:39:31 --> 00:39:31
			a lot.

00:39:50 --> 00:39:53
			The dominant party the second relationship is

00:39:57 --> 00:39:59
			the beginning or the end at the end

00:40:01 --> 00:40:13
			This idea of expected sequence. So in the first case, the dominant and the secondary was mentioned.
So you're expecting the second time also the dominant and then the secondary will be mentioned. So
the sequence would have been

00:40:19 --> 00:40:23
			alive. Besides that, he was mentioned first

00:40:27 --> 00:40:29
			mentioned the sea freeze.

00:40:33 --> 00:40:36
			Compared to a lot, there's no comparison.

00:40:46 --> 00:40:46
			grammar,

00:40:49 --> 00:40:50
			grammar,

00:40:52 --> 00:40:53
			grammar,

00:40:54 --> 00:40:55
			becomes juicy.

00:40:56 --> 00:40:57
			Seriously.

00:40:59 --> 00:40:59
			You take

00:41:05 --> 00:41:06
			the selfie

00:41:13 --> 00:41:18
			is not a single person who cannot? The question is whether you want to or not?

00:41:21 --> 00:41:26
			Easy. I'm telling you, I was terrible submittable English,

00:41:27 --> 00:41:28
			in college,

00:41:34 --> 00:41:34
			boys

00:41:36 --> 00:41:38
			in Queens, you know.

00:41:52 --> 00:41:53
			It doesn't have to be exotic guys.

00:41:58 --> 00:41:59
			But

00:42:01 --> 00:42:04
			Allah will open those doors, because Allah is

00:42:07 --> 00:42:22
			easy for you. So what if you're a bad student and everything else, a lot of making top notch into
it, because you wanted to do it because you wanted to get closer to him. And you wanted to hold on
to an anchor, you wanted to teach it for yourself. You know, that's what you wanted

00:42:24 --> 00:42:27
			to have the conversation without explaining a word of the key word

00:42:28 --> 00:42:30
			itself. And everybody understands that.

00:42:33 --> 00:42:44
			We can get there as the people. In my previous session when I talked about setting goals for
yourself, I mean, set goals for yourself. Don't just say, Oh, I can't believe I'm never gonna get

00:42:46 --> 00:42:47
			it one thing at a time.

00:42:49 --> 00:42:53
			What's in front of you pay attention. Don't lose sight of it. Don't

00:42:54 --> 00:43:01
			hold it up, like hold it, like this and memorize and then compare it to the rest of the pages that
are left and say, oh my god.

00:43:03 --> 00:43:04
			Don't do that

00:43:23 --> 00:43:27
			perspective of darkness to light. There's a lot more that can be said about this beautiful passage,
but

00:43:29 --> 00:43:30
			in the previous session,

00:43:32 --> 00:43:36
			thank you so very, very much for listening. If you get a chance to memorize

00:43:37 --> 00:43:39
			what you've heard a little bit about them, memorize them and then

00:43:46 --> 00:43:48
			find them. It's okay.

00:43:51 --> 00:43:53
			It's like a root canal for some of you, but that's

00:43:55 --> 00:43:56
			fine. Finally I

00:44:03 --> 00:44:03
			got something out of this

00:44:06 --> 00:44:07
			session

00:44:08 --> 00:44:09
			as a result
