Hey. Assalamu alaikum, guys. Okay. So this is

my first time doing this, and I don't

know how it's gonna come up. But, here

I am. I'm reacting

This video has caused a lot of controversy.

It's one of the most popular videos on

my YouTube

for interesting reasons, but

it was in 2019.

A lot has happened, a lot has changed

since then.

So I thought that it would make sense

for me to react to myself,

2 years later to see

what still holds true,

what I no longer believe,

how

I think the conversation has moved since then.

So,

yeah,

let's let's get it.

Nigeria.

And it is a huge telling a story.

Conference. About this conference. And I'm one of

the few sisters who are on the panel.

Other people on the panel, there's some really

big sheikhs there. One of them is Mufti

Menck.

The names of the others escaped me but

they were they were like, you know, very

well respected shiur.

So everybody everyone had a chance to take

the mic and do their thing

and then at the end,

they did a q and a for the

audience and it was huge, thousands of people

there.

So, you know, after some back and forth,

they invited me to to come and sit

on the the stage,

and take part in the in the q

and a with the sheikh. She says that

she she she thinks she watched it. Yeah.

So, anyway,

what I wanted to to kind of, you

know, talk about was one of the questions

that came up was about widows

and what we should tell, you know, widows

in in our society.

So we're gonna get in there, guys.

I think I can figure out this live

stream situation,

So I will be doing a proper reaction.

That was just like a little hint.

That was a very long story. I don't

think I'm gonna be responding to that story.

However,

I will definitely prioritize it inshallah because I

think that there are a lot of misconceptions

that are floating around. And like I said,

I've been on a journey and I have

changed in some respects.
