You probably didn't get to choose your life
situation.
You probably didn't get to choose your parents.
Didn't choose your kids.
You may not even have chosen
the country that you live in right now
or even the job that you do.
The fact of the matter is
sometimes life takes us to places that were
not of our choosing. And I know for
a fact
that whatever
tests you've been through,
you didn't choose those.
But I guess
if we're going to look at it with
the eye to show up
in any situation,
then we all need to make a decision.
And that decision,
the decision that I am inviting you to
take today,
is to bloom where you are planted.
Say that again.
Bloom
where you are planted.
Wherever you are,
in the sandy soil, the clay soil, the
rocky soil, on a mountainside,
on a grassy plain,
bloom.
Bloom.
Bloom.
You were planted in that soil for a
reason,
and you have everything you need to be
able to bloom in that soil.
So make the decision.
What does blooming mean? Blooming is showing up.
It's being you.
It's being you authentically,
fully.
It's being mindful. It's being present. It's bringing
forth
from all those gifts that you have inside
you. It's bringing them to the table.
It's saying, I'm here.
I'm here. I'm ready to serve. I'm here
to live. I'm here to make a difference.
I'm here to bring the gifts that I
have
to this space.
I'm ready to bloom where I'm planted
because you don't get to choose.
Not all the time. And if that's the
case, whether you bloom or not
is simply a decision away.
I invite you
to choose
to show up
as the hero
of your life story.
