Salam Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

first of all, I ask Allah subhanho wa Taala that he assists us in all of our matters, ask ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada that as we go through this pandemic, may Allah subhanho wa Taala help us immensely May Allah subhanho wa Taala give us the ability to get through this with our iman in sha Allah. Of course times like these are never easy for anyone. And many of us had never ever envision to go through what we are going through today. But here we are today we are going through these days and no matter what it is in sha Allah we will always ask ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada for his help and we will use this time to come close to Allah subhana wa Tada. Today in sha Allah starting today, every

Thursday I want to start a new series in sha Allah for our sisters in our community and other places. And the idea that I had in mind is that I want to go through the a hadith of eyeshadow, the Allah Tala and ha that are relevant to our audience. Now as we all know that a hadith narrated by ISIL, the ultra AHA are as much as approximately 2200 a hadith. Of course, we cannot cover all of them. But what we intend to do is to just take those a hadith the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and by the way, there are collections that we do find, you know, outside we have found them online relate to the hadith of Aisha EULA to Arnhem. So before that, insha Allah so this is the

journey that we want to embark upon. And I hope and I pray to Allah subhanaw taala that he puts Baraka in this journey. I mean, a little bit odd I mean, so before I actually get to I shall the Allah Quran ha. And you know, when we talk about I shall the electron had a hadith nearby. So the yellow Tron, we usually talk about the family of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa salam. And I want to go even a step further than that. And I want to talk about something that we find interestingly in the Quran, when it comes to our families, ALLAH SubhanA wa Tala mentions in the Quran that there are four different types of families. And this is not something that Allah actually mentioned in the

Quran. But this is something that we find the stories in the Quran that we find, and when we categorize certain stories, we come to this conclusion that there are four different types of families. You have the first type of family where the husband is a believer and the wife is a believer in sha Allah, they both are beloved to Allah subhanho wa taala. And here in the, in the Quran, we find in one sutra, Allah subhanaw taala mentioned three of the categories of the four, and that is Surah, utter Hareem Surah taurine, which is the last Surah of the 28th Jers or 28th, Pata. And in this surah, Allah subhanaw taala mentions an incident that took place in the life of the

prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and ALLAH SubhanA wa Taala mentioned the very first category which is where the prophet saw some is, of course, a believer in the law, and his wives, the Omaha to mean they are believers in Allah subhanho wa Taala The second category that we find our families is where the man is a believer, and the woman is a disbeliever. And we find that at the end of sorta Hareem where Allah subhanho wa Taala says that although Allahu methylene Lavina Cafaro Murata no hen one level at a look. So this is Allah giving a parallel giving an example where Allah subhanaw taala is saying that you have a man in the case of no other USANA conference that no one wrote a note. And

also in the case of Ruth Alehissalaam, where both of these men, they were believers in the Lord they gave Dawa and they call people to Allah, yet their wives, they were disbelievers in Allah subhanho wa taala. Then Allah subhana wa Taala talks about the third category which is where you have the man who is a disbeliever and you have the woman who is a believer, and that is where we find the story that you know just few hours later on Allah subhana wa Tada says, that of Allah who method and in levena, Manu Imran Farah own, Allah gives the example of the wife of fit own. And here we find out of course the man is just believer and the woman is a believer, and not only that, but we also find

that Allah subhanho wa taala, giving glad tidings to the wife of fit own. And not only that, but as we all know, based on the other a hadith the Prophet SAW Allah send them that the wife of it own, it will be the

will be the wife, one of the wives of the Prophet SAW Selim in sha Allah in the Hereafter. And then you have the fourth category, which is the man is a disbeliever and the woman is

also a disbeliever and that is the example of a Bula hub. Allah subhana wa Taala mentioned Tibet Theodor Abbey, there have been what that might have now and who might, who might when I kiss up, so let's learn out on that, and I have one more eye to who. So he and his wife, Allah subhanaw taala mentions both of them in the same context in the same sutra, that both of them are the they both were disbelievers, and both of them are

the anger of Allah subhanaw taala is upon both of them, and both of them will be in the fire Jahannam so this is this is what we find in the Quran. So once again for different couples. Now, when we talk about this, of course, we get we come closer to the subject of the family of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And before we actually talk about the family of the Prophet SAW Salem, there is something that we find in the Quran different words that are in reference to the word family. And the two words that I want to focus on today in this session is the word a hen, and the word and so you find for example, in Sudha Ali Imran so once again, it's called Ali Imran. And

now instead of Ali Imran ALLAH SubhanA wa Taala says in Allah has tafa dama when you hon. So first of all, Allah subhanaw taala says that he selected and estafa is in reference to a very special selection made by ALLAH SubhanA wa taala. And he says in this idea that he has chosen Nuada husana He has chosen as Amata has Salam. And then he says what Allah Ibrahima will Allah in Marana Allah, Allah Allah me and he has given these people a certain preference over everyone else. So here in this ayah we find what Ibrahim the LM Ibrahim, and we find Allah Imran up now. There's another place in the Quran where Allah subhanaw taala is talking about the family of Ibrahim alayhis salam, and he

says what Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh who alaykum Al Bayt Okay, now Adam bathe a halal bait, and not only that, but when we talk about the wives of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and without getting into a theological difference, the who is considered as the adult bathe or not. I'll talk about that very briefly later on Inshallah, just a sentence or two but we find in the Quran when Allah subhanaw taala refers to the wives of the Prophet SAW Selim, he referred to them as bait. So the question that begs is that what is the difference between Al and Al? So the owner might have mentioned that the difference is that when you talk about the word a *, it is in reference to the

immediate close family members to oneself, like for example, there's a hadith of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that is mentioned that he was one time under a sheet. And with him was Hassan Hussain Ali Rhodiola Tron and Fatima, Viola Quran ha and he you refer to them as a halal bait. So once again, we're talking about when we say the word * is in reference to the closest people in your family, when Allah subhanho wa Taala talked about the wives of the Prophet is Salam, because these are the people who will spend their days in the nights with Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that Allah subhanaw taala also referred to them as a halal bait. Now when you say

the word Allah, the owner may have mentioned that this is a greater scope of people in your family or people within your progeny like generations later. So if a person says that I am and they let's just say they do have everything documented and recorded, that they are related to the family or they are related to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam then we will not say that they are the adult baby we will say they are from the Isle of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And so this is something that we find very gentle in the Quran, like Allah subhanho wa Taala he says, There are men who and the Root Chakra we talked about the family of that would argue Salam. Now we don't we

don't find in the Quran, about the wife of the rule and the children of that rule. But here Allah Subhan is talking about the progeny or He Allah Subhan. Allah is talking about the family that would come from the world and so forth his followers and anyone who may be a follower of his teachings, then they are referred to as Allah. In the same case we find the story of Fidel owned in surah. Al Horford. Well, Allah subhanho wa Taala he says that there were people who followed him and Cofer and so forth. So Allah subhanho wa Taala he says, a narrow Euro Luna will do one way or she will Yamata ko Musa or two other Hulu and a theater owner. I said that either. So Allah is not also in reference

to only the believer followers is also in reference to anyone, whether they are believers.

as non believers, they disbelieve in Allah subhanho wa Taala everyone in the family can be referred to as the Al. But however, when we talk about when we're talking about the word a *, this is in reference to the immediate close family members of Rasulullah sallallahu ala he was sending them and if you have studied Montana, if you have studied logic, there is a concept called Omaha salesman watch again, what this means is that you have a greater scope. So every one is a reference to Allah. And then within this you have a certain very specific group, which is called a handle. And so this is something that we find even you know, like, for example, when we talk about the subject of

prophets, and messengers, so it is fair to say that all messengers were prophets, but not all prophets were messengers. And so there's a lawsuit and there is a be the the lawsuits, they can be categorized, or they can be put into the category of an OB, but not every single Nabhi was a lawsuit or messenger. So this is this is how that works. So you have a greater scope, which is called Al and then within this group, there is a very special group which is called the * of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Now, when we talk about the Allah, the Prophet SAW Selim, as I said earlier that the wives the Polish centum, are included in the Add on base of the Prophet sallallahu

alayhi wa sallam, of course, there are some other groups that they disagree with his whole notion and this whole idea and they say that the wives of the Prophet SAW Selim are not included in the Al Bayt, and their reference or their delete that they use is once again the Hadith I shared earlier, the Hadith of the sheet where the prophet Allah, his son was sitting in a sheet with Fatima, and Ali and Hassan Hussein, and he says, This is my oil. And so they use this hadith as a reference. And they usually say to that this hadith is found in your books. And we follow that what's in your books. So this is actually like sort of their way of saying that this is following your books, why

don't you believe in it? And our response to that, to that notion, or to that objection, would be is that the Prophet saw some never said anything to the effect that these are my only like, added bathe, or neither did he say anything where he gave the impression that they are not from an adult bathe like the wives probably some are not from the added bait. So what that basically implies is that once the profile is some was sitting with his family members, and he said, these are my ideal bait. And that's all that he mentioned, he never negated the status of added bathe of anyone else. So this is the way we understand this. And as I said earlier, that there is no better proof or

bigger proof than the words of ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada, that when he referred to the, the wives of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he referred to them as Omaha, meaning and now he's ever he referred to them as a he will bathe Allen Beatty, where you're talking about contact Ohira. This is found in SOTL as up in the case of similar fasciola that I do want to mention this to that seminar Farsi, as we all know that he was a, a Persian Companion of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And it just so happened that during the Battle of trenches, he was of course, he played a very heavy role number one to begin with, by providing this suggestion to the Prophet SAW Salem, that instead

of you know, just fighting these people, let's dig up trenches. And he also mentioned that this was a very successful method that they used to use in Persia, during wars and battles, and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he agreed, and he said that let's stick with this. And they began to dig trenches. So the fact that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam took the opinion of a seminar physeal Viola Tron, and not only that, but he was playing a heavy role and digging up the trenches and guiding the Sahaba on how to dig up the trenches. This is why the Sahaba they began to surf like, you know, they began to talk to each other and they began to debate and dialogue, that who

does sermon belong to you know, this is your Subhanallah very beautiful that where you have the Sahaba fighting over each other, and the Mohammed they said that sermon is from us and the unsalted will say that no Salman is from us. And that is when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he came in he said, that no Salman is neither from you and neither from you he is from us, he is from us and he used the word Al. Now the Allah ma have explained that in the sense that here this is not this, this does not necessarily mean that Salman has the status of added beats. Here. This is more of like a shut off, or more like a a gracious kind of like, fever or something kind of the Prophet SAW Allah

Although he was sending them, he has said about Salman or the yellow that iron, but nonetheless this does not once again this does not make him from the admiral bathe of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Now when we talk about the wives of the Prophet sallallahu today he was sending him of course there is much mentioned in the Quran. First of all is that Allah subhana wa Tada we refer to them as our mothers. And I want you to think about this, that today we love our mothers and I ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to give our mothers long lives um, you know, but Allah Mina, ask ALLAH SubhanA wa taala, that anyone who has lost their mother, may Allah subhana wa taala, enlightened

there gave me a little bit Alameen so we love our mothers immensely. And a lot of times we we, you know, we, we recall their advices and the things that they taught us when we were small children.

Likewise, Allah subhanho wa Taala is saying in the Quran, and Nabhi you all have been meaning I mean, unfussy him was why Jew or Maha to him, that there his wives, the wives of Prophets, Allah, some are your mother's. So once again, just like we hold it near and dear, the advices, and the love that our mothers have shown to us throughout our entire lives. Likewise, we are to have that same kind of level and respect for the advices given to us by our mothers too, which are the wives of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa salam, we also find in the Quran that one of the key things about the lives or the wives of the Prophet SAW Allah Psalm is that no one is allowed to get married to

them, and neither can they get married to anyone else, after the death of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa salam, this is found in Surah Al Azhar once again and this ayah begins by where Allah says, y'all you intervene a minute later the Hulu youth and be in a youth an electron Illa

ad now this is a very long idea. And this is by the way, was revealed after the wedding of Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam with Xena Binta geohash or the Allah Tala Aha. And it's mentioned that as part of the walima, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam he wanted to invite the Sahaba to his home. And when he did invite them to his home, it is mentioned that the Prophet salallahu audio has sent him of course, he's very caring. He wants to be very careful about other people's feelings. And so it is mentioned that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam after the Sahaba you know they had their food. They were just sitting there chit chatting with one another. And this was putting some burden

and making things very uncomfortable for us hula, so Allahu alayhi wa sallam. And so is mentioned that the Prophet Allah is some he got up and he left the room. And after a while he came back and after he came back the Sahaba they had noticed from the face of the Prophet alayhi salam that the Prophet alayhi salam probably wants us to leave. And that is when this idea was revealed where Allah subhanaw taala he's saying that do not enter LA to the Hulu, youth and Nabhi do not enter the house of the Prophet sallahu wa salam. In a year the electron electron and oil are now leading unless you are permitted to enter for food and make sure that it is not in the process where the food is being

prepared me that you only enter when the food has been prepared. And then the Prophet SAW Allah and then Allah subhana wa Tada. He says, for you out there, I'm Tom Fanta Shirou when I'm mostly seeing the Hadith, this is again ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada highlighting that what is the adult and the respect that you show to the house of the Prophet SAW Allah salah, that when you come you partake your food, then you leave right away. And then Allah subhanho wa Taala says, in Nevada Licon Kenya, you didn't know that this was causing harm to the Prophet sallallahu sallam. As I said earlier, the prophet li son was in a very uncomfortable situation. And then Allah subhanho wa Taala says siesta Haman come

in Subhanallah the province has some has his higher he has you know, he's he's shy in telling his guests now he could tell his guests very, you know, very clearly that, you know, it's time to go and leave, but the possum is shy about it. But Allah subhanaw taala says will Allahu Allah yes to Him and Huck, Allah does not shy away from seeing the truth. And here Allah subhanho wa Taala understands that the prophet does not want to tell them, but Allah subhanho wa Taala is going to set the rules, and he's going to set the standard straight, that this is called a dub, and you have to take care and you have to look after your respect towards the Prophet sallallahu it he was send them

and finally at the end of this, I have the Quran Allah Subhana Allah he says wala, and thank you as well as the human body above that forever. No wife of the province of some is going to marry anyone else. Because the whole idea is that they are like our mothers and as we all know, we don't marry we are not allowed

To marry our mothers, so this is I mean once again please do not take me very literally when I say there are mothers, this is Allah subhanho wa Taala you know declaring that they are our mothers and we we respect this notion. And everything that we find in the Quran about the wives of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is that Allah gave them a choice, either you can be with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and that is if you wish, Allah and you wish, the prophet Allah his time and you want a great reward in the Hereafter, and a very high status in the hereafter. Or, if you wish, the dunya if you wish, the dunya then the Prophet SAW Selim he can, he can let you go? And

this is something that has mentioned in the Quran in surah Azhar once again where Allah says yeah, you have to be you personally as well. Jika in Quran tuna to regional Hayato dunya was in atta Oh Prophet Muhammad SAW some tell your wives, that if they should desire the worldly life, and is a dormant. Then come for to Alena ALMA to Kona what will sir recognize Sarah hon Jamila, I will provide for you and give you a gracious release. This is Allah subhanaw taala telling the Prophet alayhi salam to tell his wives. On the flip side, Allah says Wayne continue to return Allah wa Sula, what Darrell Accra there is they do wish Allah and His Prophet would better Accra in the hereafter

the home of the Hereafter for in the law I've done in Mercy net min Kona agilon Aviva Allah has prepared for the doers of good a great reward. And as we all know that when this choice was put to the wives of the Prophet Salah Salem What do you honestly think that the the wives of the Prophet would do you think that they will choose the dunya over the akhirah? Absolutely not. They chose the IRA over this dunya and in they wanted to remain with Rasul allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and we will talk about this very briefly later on to that,

that their wives the Prophet SAW Allah Hardy, he was sending them that because, you know, the Pavarotti, some had desired he wanted to take or he wanted to be with some otherwise during that time, and we don't find anyone in Nepal and these wives, they gave permission to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Once again, we find in the Hadith of the Prophet alayhi salam, in some cases that if there was a night dedicated to a certain wife, there were cases that we find in the books of Sierra that the otherwise the person they were sometimes come to that house, or that wife's house, that the property is somehow dedicated to, and they would talk to the Prophet sallallahu

alayhi wa sallam in the properties, Salam had a very comfortable kind of relationship with his own wives, like where they were talking to each other back and forth. And you know, this, this, by the way, teaches as to how we need to be with our own spouses that you don't have like a kind of personality that is inviting. The problem is I've never had this kind of personality where the people would run away from him. I've talked about this in some of my other lectures. This was the nature of the Prophet sallallahu sallam. In fact, it is mentioned that one time, all right, I'm gonna hop out of the Athan, he came, and he was standing outside, and he could hear the wives of the

Prophet SAW Selim, that the property is someone's talking, and they're, you know, they're responding back to him. And I want you to think about this, that when a husband and wife are conversing with each other, and the husband is saying something, and the wife is saying something back, in many of our cultures that we may come from, it is viewed as a disrespect, you know, often we're just going to do a via, you know, we say these kinds of things, our culture, that How dare you speak back to me. So, you know, once again, we find in the case of the Prophet SAW Salem, that the wives of the Prophet Ali's, I mean, the Prophet, they will converse back and forth, like he will say something

and sometimes they will say something back to him. But as long as there was a mutual understanding and mutual respect, between him and his wives, there was nothing wrong in having this conversation. And as I said to him, he's hearing this, and he's thinking to himself that How dare like they respond to the Prophet and they talk back to the Prophet this way. And then the Prophet when he walked in, he knows Omar Mahatama, had his personality, as soon as he walked in the wives of the Prophet on the left, but it also he just stood there and he just stayed there. And he had a smile on his face. And he you know, on whatever thought was getting upset that how can they talk to you like

that, but the profanity, some is okay about it. He's cool about it. So this is something that we find it you know, this loving kind of relationship between the Prophet sallallahu Sallam and his and his wives. And not only that, but we also find in many other verses of the Quran, where Allah subhanho wa Taala he would refer and he would directly address the wives of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam yet Aneesa and maybe urine is an OB

We find this in many places in certain HAZOP. So this is a shut off. And this is kind of an honor, and I respect given by Allah subhanho wa taala, to the wives of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and also we learned by, you know, by when we come when it comes to studying about the wives of the Prophet sallallahu ala your son, this also means that we should learn about their lives, you know, their lives are very, very fascinating. Subhan Allah and these women, they played a very heavy role in preserving Islamic scholarship in preserving Islamic, you know, Islamic literature, in the sense that, where they taught us so much about the life of the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

And many of the ways the prophets are somebody they narrated a hadith. Of course, no one has narrated more a hadith amongst the wives of the Prophet than I usually allotted on her. And the last thing I will say is based on the wives and what we learned from their lives, every woman should be inspired from their lives to be a woman scholar, especially if you have that drive within you to learn your deen, then this is something that today we need, you know, subhanAllah women, women played a heavy role in society in the life of the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, even after the death of the Prophet Allah has some women played a heavy role in their community and in their

society. And not only that, but we also find cases where like, for example, on would have been a hubbub of the time assigning a woman to look out for the affairs of a marketplace. Here you have eyeshadow on the Allah Quran, her giving fatawa. So if a woman is well grounded in Islamic sciences, and Islamic scholarship, then you know, there is nothing wrong and imparting that knowledge to other women. Unfortunately, today, what we see is that there are very few women who are doing that. And so I would humbly advise that if you have this, drive within yourself that you want to, you know, you want to educate yourself and you want to learn your deen, that do not hesitate in pursuing that

dream of yours. Today, the times that we are living in, we need more and more women scholars, we need more and more women who are well grounded, and they have not just you know, I'm not talking about just studying online, I mean, going to orlimar going to scholars going you know, studying Islam property, the way we find in our rich history. So this is what I would say is that if you have that drive, please do pursue that drive. Now, the last thing I want to cover today is something very brief about each of the wives of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Of course, I do want to mention this, that this is not the entire life of each of the wives. This is just few snippets, few,

you know, some major points about each of the wives of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And we'll try to stick to the order and how the Prophet Allah has some marry them. So the very first one that we find is how the jello the electron, ha, this was the very first wife of the Prophet SAW Allah while he was sending them and while the valley son was married to her, there was no other wife that the Prophet Allah has some he married, she had, and she gave birth to six of the seven children of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and she was also known to give her utmost amount of support to the mission of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam we don't ever find in the story of I

in the story of how deja vu alotta on her and her biography that she not she wants objected to the Prophet sallallahu Sallam she always gave her support to the Prophet SAW Salem. In fact, we find that there were days before he became a prophet, that the she he had children already children are at home, she's taking care of those children. And the Prophet saw a sudden on what he who would go and he would isolate himself in the mountain for days on Days and days. And not once, not once. Did everybody just say you know, enough is enough or you know, she'll never say anything disrespectful, or, you know, something that would cause a displeasure to the province that Allahu Allah who was set

up. In fact, we find that because of her support to the Prophet SAW Selim, throughout his entire mission, Jubilee Allah his son once comes to the Prophet SAW Selim and says that I and Allah are conveying our salam to khalifa I mean Subhanallah you know thing about that shut off and that honor that has been given to Hadith God Allah Allah, that Allah and Jubilee Valley Islam. You know, here we're talking about a lot and they were talking about Jabra Eid, the leader of all the mala Iike, and all the angels conveying their Salaams to hadiza. Viola had this is truly an honor for Khadija Ravi Allah Tirana. We also find that when the Prophet SAW Selim needed financial support, she was

always there to provide

had that financial support. Even during the three long years, the boycott of yours of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, even during that time, the one who was stepped up financially and always provide to the Prophet SAW Allah Salam, and his and his mission was how deja vu Allah to Allah. And we learned that she was made to the Prophet SAW Salem, to the age of 65. And that means that at the age of 65, this was the 10th year of prophethood, not after his 10th year of prophethood, where she passed away she was 65. And according to the math, if you do the math, the simple math of the Prophet sallallahu sallam was at that time, 50 years old, when she passed away.

Now the next word of the Prophet saw him he married was, so that will be Ultron ha. And once again, we also learned that so that was 50 years old. So there was probably a, you know, a few months gap between the Prophet SAW Salem and her. But nonetheless, we do find that as soon as soon as she stepped in, she served, of course as the role of the mother, and she treated the children of the prophesied Sanlam like he like her own children, and like she showed that love to the children of the Prophet SAW Selim, like she was show children to her own biological children. But nonetheless, she was a very great support to the Prophet SAW Salem. And I want you to think about this too, that

when Hadiya passes away, a * it passes away. The problem is Saddam is struggling with this loss, like here is just one family member. This is the property sometimes external and internal support, they both have passed away. And the property does not need someone to not take care of just one child like multiple children here. And so the province has set up and this is why so that is so beloved in the CEDAW, the province of salaam pika, she stepped in at a very critical time, at a very crucial time. And she took care of the children of the Prophet SAW Salem, so that the Prophet alayhi salam can focus on his own mission. And, you know, look at this. It was during her time that you

know, the problem was awesome. He came across the unsolved there was the first pledge of Aloka, the second pledge of Acaba. And you know, all this taking place, and all this has happened while he is married to soda or the yellow Tron. Hmm.
