Bismillah Al Rahman Rahim Al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil Alameen wa Salatu was Salam ala Rasulillah him Hamid wala Ali. Wasabi. Germaine was seldom at the Sleeman he got here on cathedra Amma bad sermon Alikum dear viewers around the world wherever you may be asked Allah subhanho wa Taala to keep all of us safe May Allah subhana wa Taala keep us in our families, our neighbors or relatives, everyone safe and I ask Allah subhana wa Taala that as the last 10 nights of Ramadan began May Allah accept from all of us may Allah accept our pm our CM, our do us any good that we do in the month of Ramadan May Allah subhanho wa Taala accept all of it from all of us. I mean, yarrabilba el Amin. So
continuing with our series, the 7077 branches of faith, and once again, we're using the primary source, which is the book of Imam Al by Hadley Rahmatullah are they and not only that, but we'll find in many different places that Imam Al bye happy Ramadan, Ramadan, Ali has actually compiled a list of 77 branches of faith. I've mentioned that improved in some of my previous lectures, there are seven that are related to the subject of tongue or the are related to the tongue. There are 30 branches of faith that are related to the heart, and there are 40 branches of faith that are related to physical actions. So 100 Today, we have covered the tongue ones before we have covered some of
the physical actions yesterday, starting yesterday we are talking about the ones that are related to the heart. Now yesterday we talked about Allah subhanaw taala. You know, having this belief in Allah subhanho wa Taala understanding that you know how amazing Allah is in his power in his aura in His Majesty and so forth. Now today, I want to talk about something that you and I we should be thinking about every single day. What is that thing that I'm referring to? It is the Hereafter. This is actually one of the signs of iman, is to believe in the hereafter. But once again, just like yesterday, we talked about Allah subhanho wa taala. One is to have the knowledge that Allah is
Almighty, He is only one. And then one is to truly believe that in your heart. One is when you talk about the day of judgment and you ask anyone any Muslim, that what do they say? And what do they know about the Hereafter they all will say that when we depart from this world, we are buried, and our Of course, the roof departs, the soul departs, but then a day will come, that Allah will resurrect us, we will stand before Allah subhanho wa taala. And then Allah will make a decision whether we will go to Jana or Johanna, and this is something that every single Muslim knows. Now when we talk about the Day of Judgment in general, there are many different faiths and many
different theories that we come across. Some believe in reincarnation, some believe that, you know, once you die automatically, you go to Paradise and so forth. And a lot of there are a lot of a lot of fates out there. And many different theories out there that completely outright reject the concept of the Hereafter. And this is why Allah subhanho wa taala, especially in the mucky, surahs. Allah time after time emphasizes that there is something called the hereafter there's something called a countability in the Hereafter, and I want to bring your attention and draw your attention to a very, you know, a very amazing surah in the Quran surah Yama mentioned in the 20/29, Jos or the
29th para and Allah subhanho wa taala. He mentioned and suited Akiyama Le O Cosimo be yarmulke Yama so this is the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam being told by ALLAH SubhanA wa Taala that anyone who has any doubts about the hereafter. First of all, let's crush those doubts. Let's get rid of those doubts. And he's saying to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa salam O Allah Jalla wa Ala that oh Prophet tell these people love, first of all, everything, every single theory out there regarding the Day of Judgment, that has the idea that the day judgment will not occur, they are absolutely wrong. OpenSim will be yarmulke Yama. And then he says that I swear upon the Day of Judgment mean
that the Day of Judgment will most certainly take place when a Ecosim will be enough Silla, Weimer and once again all your fingers are wrong and I swear that that day is the day where there will be extreme amount of blame mean that a person will blame themselves on the day of judgment and Subhanallah we
find we find that on the Day of Judgment, there is a certain conversation that will take place. And I pray to Allah that he that he does not make any one of us. I pray to Allah that He does not make any one of us part of that conversation and what is that conversation is a conversation that will take place between those who are destined to the fire Jahannam and beat them and shaytaan this is a conversation between them and shaytaan and they will come to shaytaan and they will try to blame ship on for their failure, and shaitan will say, He will say very clearly, he says maccarinelli YALI coming so Tonon Illa and TAO to confess that Jeff tomley Do not blame me today for your problems. I
only gave you Dawa, I only called you to wrong and you responded, I never forced you to put a gun to your head. So this is something that we find that on the Day of Judgment, there'll be much blame they'll be going around, and this word little Wymer that we find another word in the Quran, such as Loma Tala. And this is something that Allah subhanho wa taala. He says, In sutra, either the Allah says Allah Hoff una lo Metalla. And these are people who dedicate themselves to Allah, and they do not fear the blame of anyone. And the reason why Allah is saying that is because quickly, that there are people who do good things, but then they are afraid of someone, you know, downplaying what
they're doing, or someone criticizing them, or someone blaming them for something. And so they're saying, Well, are you hopeful Allah Almighty Allah, if they're not afraid of anyone's blame anyone's criticism. So once again, Allah wema means that on the Day of Judgment, there will be extreme cases of blame that will be going around and reason why this is, brothers and sisters is because on the Day of Judgment, we will find out exactly where we will be going, what is our final destination. So this is why it's very important, that is not just about believing in the fact that something will take place. But then through our own actions, we are doing the right things to ensure that we are
preparing for that last day. Something else that we also find in Soto Qiyamah, because we're talking about the Yama is that there are two different concepts that are found in Sudoku, Yama. One is the concept of accountability. And one is the concept of fear. And if you think about it, these are two things, by the way, that drives each one of us to do something, think about it. Accountability, if I know that if I don't get to work on time, or nowadays, because of this pandemic, we are at home, we have to log on at a certain time. I know that if I don't log on at a certain time. And even if I'm at home, if I don't complete my work, then there's something called accountability, right? My boss
is gonna send me an email, my supervisor may send me an email, they may call me, you know, what's up, they may ask me, so we don't want that kind of accountability. Why do we do our taxes because we don't want Uncle Sam and the IRS knocking on our door and sending us letters after letters, right. So this is why because we have this concept of accountability. If I don't do things the right way, then there's accountability. Now in this dunya, the accountability is such that, you know, you can do things wrong, and you may even get away with it. But in the Hereafter, no one is going to get away from it, no one's going to get away from anything that they have done, every good that they
have done, it will become apparent, every rung that they have done, it will become apparent, no one is going to do a job, no one's gonna be able to escape from the accountability of Allah subhanho wa taala. Then as I said, the second thing that drives us and motivates us is fear. So because we have fear that if I don't work hard, I can lose my job. And if I don't have my job, I don't have a paycheck. And then I don't have a way to sustain and take care of my family, that drives us to make sure that we are doing our work correctly. You know, subhanAllah, I remember when this you know, when this pandemic in the very early stages of this pandemic, we all saw that how people were
hitting the grocery stores, and the grocery stores were completely empty. Why? Because there is this fear And subhanAllah you know, everyone's talking about it, stock up for two, three weeks to three months, and everyone's going to the grocery stores and everyone is like collecting and stacking up their fridges and so forth. Why because there is fear there is genuine fear. Now both of these concepts, accountability and fear, both of them have been mentioned and sewer to Qiyamah first of all accountability that Allah will hold every single person accountable. You will not bowl in San who young might even be caught dama What a hot what a person has done whatever a person has done,
because when you do something, you know that either you're going to reap the benefits of it in the future, or you're going to suffer the consequences of something in the future. You're not bought in such a person will be made aware of the fact of what they have sent for
Word and what they have said in the hereafter. If a person thinks that you know what, let me escape. Let me just try to get away from all this. Allah subhanho wa Taala once again and sort of Kiama he reminds us that no person, no person is going to be able to escape that day of judgment. In fact ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada says, I asked several Insano Alanna Gemma Arya Varma, like do you really think that we will not be able to bring your bones together, but indeed, for the Dena Allah and also we are banana, Allah says, Indeed, we have the ability to put together you in the perfect order, not just the way we are as human beings, but Allah will put us back together to the smallest details
such as our fingerprints, you know, our fingerprints are very unique, and Allah subhanaw taala, on the Day of Judgment, can just create us as you know, our fingers, but Allah is going to bring us back, he's going to resurrect us to the smallest detail, and not just the details, but it will be our memory too, we will remember every single thing that will that took place in this dunya. And so this is why brothers and sisters, these two things, accountability and fear is something that we all should be we should all have in mind at all times. Accountability, the fact that Allah is going to ask me for every single thing that I have said, or I have done today, subhanAllah we do things, but
there is no idea there is no concept that I will face these consequences in the hereafter. Today, we break the law today. Today I'm driving on the road, I'm crossing the speed limit. I'm just driving really fast, very recklessly on the roads. I know that immediately if a cop sees me if a police officer sees me, he will give me and he will issue me a ticket. That is fear. And because of that fear, we don't drive above the speed limit on the roads. So brothers sisters, why do we not fear Allah subhanho wa Taala we know that Allah is going to hold us accountable and nothing is hidden from Allah, nothing is hidden from Allah. Today in this dunya things are hidden from other people.
Nothing is hidden from Allah. And not only that, but when it comes to consequences, Allah has the greatest consequence. And that is the fire Johanna. This is why Allah wants us to always be vigilant, always thinking about the Hereafter. And that is what it means to believe in the hereafter. Finally, a few things I want to share with you about the hereafter is that we go to the Sahaba, to the ultra on home, and we understand how much of a you know how much they were aware of the Hereafter, oh Bucha or the alota and gets into an argument. And he says something that he regrets. And the person says that, you know, say, you know, in obika realizes that I have said
something to a person that on the Day of Judgment, he can stand against me on the day of judgment, the fear of the Hereafter causes obika to say back, say to that person, that whatever word I said to you, whatever phrase I use against you, then say that same thing back to me and this person says, No, I refuse to do that. And goes, Don't say it say it. Because the prophets Allah has said them he had instilled within the Sahaba this fear of the Hereafter that he does not heal. Bucher does not want to stand before Allah, and have to give an account of this. So once again, where is today our accountability, or is our fear and Subhanallah we find also instead of haka, so, the Harpa that on
the Day of Judgment, every person will be given a book, either they will be given the book in the right hand, or they will be given a book on their left hand. Now, today, we work so hard, but we have no idea that time, whether our book or book of deeds will be given our right hand, or left hand and just think about this. Just to give you an example, imagine, you don't a lot of times, we are so much worried and concerned, let me give you an example of a student, a student that works really, really hard. And the time comes that they are sending requests to different universities to find out, you know, in first of all to, you know, to they want to get accepted into those universities.
And they have no idea they have absolutely no idea if they're gonna get accepted or not. But they work hard. Sometimes they are slacking, but they'd still do apply. And what happens on that day is that when they log on, you know, they log on and they get first of all, an email notification, that, you know, certain university has responded to you. Now you're logging on, you have no idea. You have no idea. Is that a yes? Is it a no. And just imagine if it is a yes. I mean, we see videos today on social media, when they see it's a yes, they lose their mind. They're celebrating, they're so happy. They're showing everyone and they take a snapshot of it with it from their phone. They're sending it
off to everyone. Look, look, look, I got accepted. I got accepted, you know. And so on the Day of Judgment, that's exactly the way it's going to be is that if we have done enough good and Allah subhanaw taala gives us
Our book of deeds in our right hand will be going around to everyone the same way. Look, look, I got into Janna look I got into Jana. And not only that, but the Quran says that what? What a man an OT for a moment oto Kitab will be a meanie for your own her own Nakuru. Kitabi I read my book, it needs oran to unimolecular Hey, Serbia, I knew it, I knew it. If I worked hard, I will get the results I wanted. And I knew that I'm going to visit and I'm going to see Allah subhanho wa Taala on this day, and I will have to send before Allah subhanho wa taala. And so they are so happy. And then Allah says for who a fee or Isha to have all the they are in the eternal bliss. But on the flip side, just
imagine a person logs on. And it says I'm sorry, your application has been denied or rejected and you will not be allowed to or you will not be admitted into this university that a person is you know, they're thinking to themselves, there's so much regret. And then they're thinking, Where did I go wrong? If a person is a slacker, they know automatically why these are the results. But if they're not a slacker, they worked hard, but not enough to get in. Then they're thinking to themselves, where did I go wrong? Where do I go wrong? And they're just you know, they're criticizing themselves or blaming themselves. And that's exactly what's gonna happen on the Day of
Judgment. What amendment ot keytab will be shrimali? Anyone who's given the Book of deeds in their left hand for your call? Yeah, lathe and Isla muda Ketopia. Like, I wish I would have not even been given my book, just like that person says, You know what, my day was going really well to read this email. I read. I wish I had not even read this email. That's exactly what's going to happen. I wish I have not been given my book of deeds. At all years later, Willem de Mahi salvia, and I have never known what my results are ya later ha kinda telecall. The, I wish that, you know, I wish I would have just died, that would have been better for me, rather than going through this pain, and Allah
subhanho wa Taala says, eventually, there'll be thrown into the fire, Johanna. So this is why brothers and sisters, we have to prepare for the Day of Judgment. That is where each one of us we will go. That is where each one of us will stand before Allah subhanho wa taala. And so Qiyamah highlights this, you know, that we all stand before Allah subhanho wa taala. And we will have to give an account of every single thing. And this is why once again, everything that we do is for the hereafter. So let's today starting today, everything that we do everything that we say, let's think about the benefits that AI will gain in the Hereafter, let's think about the repercussions that come
with a certain action. It was something I said, and I will I will have to face them on the Day of Judgment. And the reason I shared with this with you know, the reason I share all this with you today about the hereafter is because the last night's at a Madonna are starting tonight. And everything that we will do in sha Allah, we are bending fitting ourselves in the hereafter. So think about this, that every good that we are doing. It is an investment for ourselves in the hereafter. That's pretty much what it comes down to. I mean, one night of worship this tonight could be the night Rachel Carter, it could be late possibly the night late to the garden. And once again, if we
worship Allah subhanho wa Taala on this night, then Allah will give us the reward as if we have worshipped him for 83 years and there are majority there are so many people who don't even live beyond a few years and just think about, you know, showing up on the day of judgment. And there's so much reward so much reward and you're thinking to yourself, you know, there's reward of 1000 years of worship, and he was thinking to yourself that it even lasts for probably like 50 years, 60 years, 7080 years, and I have 1000s and 1000s of years of worship. And Allah will remind us that did you remember that a certain night of later coddle you worship Allah subhanho wa Taala that was just a
three years so there is so much that we can accumulate on these beautiful nights of Ramadan, these last five on nine Ramadan, ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to first of all give us ability to always think about the hereafter to always be mindful of the hereafter and ask ALLAH SubhanA wa Taala that in these last 10 nights that I'm Allah, may Allah give us ability to excel, may Allah accept our daughters make a lot of dua, brothers and sisters in these last 10 nights of Ramadan, make a love is the father make a lot of dua that Allah saves us and saves us from the fire Jahannam do all this in these last 10 Nights till next time in sha Allah does akmola heyde A salam Wa alaykum Warahmatullahi
