Salam Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh Bismillah Al Rahman Rahim Al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil Alameen wa Salatu was Salam ala Rasulillah Muhammad wa ala alihi wa sahbihi Morain about Welcome to another segment of Kali Mala. Today we are going through the story of Masada, Islam, but along with another person that we find in the story of Musashi, Assam His name is all grown. And so there is not much that is mentioned in the Quran about karoun. But there is one passage that we find in pseudo classes Allah subhanho wa taala. He begins his passage by saying in a cartoon Academy called the Musa Baba lay him. So besides this passage, we don't find much mentioned in the Quran. There is of course,
sort of off it or in sort of men, Allah subhanho wa taala. He does mention the word or rune, but there is no information over there elaphe in our own our Harmon or Karuna for all or looser, I don't cut them that fit own Harmon and Otto and these were the three people that were you know, they were viewed as, you know, they were allies, and they were, you know, ministers of fit own and so forth. But these were the right hand men of fit own all along and throughout this entire journey. And so in sua Alafaya we don't find besides that any other information regarding our own and we come here to sort of process and this is where we find some information about padrone. Now first of all, who was
Autozone according to majority of the oil, Mr. Harun was the cousin of Musa alayhis salam. And as the owner they mentioned that it was his uncle's son. So this is a you know, this is a close relationship. This is a you know, you know, first cousins. And so but nonetheless Musa alayhis salam is the prophet of Allah Koran is a transgressor to Koran is someone that Allah subhanho wa taala. Truly has given so much but he did not. He never gave back and he was arrogant. And this is why Allah subhanho wa Taala he destroyed him. So we began this passage, Allah subhanho wa Taala he says in the Quran Academy kami Musa, Allah, Allah him, Allah subhana wa Taala he talks about that how he,
he was from the nation, and from the tribe of Mussolini, Islam and for Bahati him, and he behaved arrogantly towards them. Now, what does that mean? Many, many have their own Ummah, they have given multiple reasons, multiple explanations of what does for Bhavati him mean some say that he was he treated people in the wrong way. Some say that he has so much wealth, but he had not distributed his wealth and charity to other people. Some say that he was a complete sellout. Now what does that mean? He was a sellout think about it, that if he was from the tribe of Musashi, Islam, that makes him what that makes him a person that, you know, it was the people beneath saw in that who were
enslaved by fear to own and so forth. So he comes from money and saw it, yet the fact that he's around fear own, and he's a right hand man of fit on. And he's watching his own people being enslaved, and he's watching his own people being tortured. And they see him as one of them, the people beneath saw you who are being enslaved, they see that this is a man from within us. And we expect that he should stand up for us, and he should vouch for us. But on the other hand, he does not do anything for us. Rather, he is one the right hand men of fit own. And this is something that we find very often we find something very often even within this country, you find that how so many
times, you know, we find that there's so many atrocities and crimes committed against the African American community yet you find at times, you know, people who are from the African American community, for example, they will go and they will stand by the side of the oppressor. We find in many cases that people who are quote unquote, Muslims, they call themselves Muslims, but yet they will stand by the side of the volume and the oppressor, and they think that they're doing something good. So, we find this that this is something that has been going on throughout the history of humanity and so forth, it should not shock it should not, you know, put us in a state of shock that
this is happening falloon was no different in that case. So, Allah subhanho wa Taala says, that he committed crimes and so forth, and many of the other minds they say that this is exactly what he did some other whenever they say that this is in reference, when Allah says that he committed crimes and he, he was behaved arrogantly and so forth. Some say that this is in reference to an accusation that Arun had placed and he had created a
against Musa alayhis salam. So the story is mentioned that one time we saw the Assam he got everyone together the people but he saw it, and someone had asked this question to Musashi Sunday, what if there's a woman who is accusing another man that she was sexually abused? And then what could or she's, you know, complaining of * and so forth, what would happen that kind of situation? Musa alayhis salam said that this will be the punishment and the consequences of such crimes? And then the question was said or asked that what if it is you what if it is you in that position, and he said, even if it's me, and and that is when there was a woman who was paid by our own, she was paid
off by a cartoon, to stand up in front of the public and to launch an accusation against Musa alayhis salam and Musa alayhis salam he confronted her on that. And what we learned from that is that when someone accuses you is not right, that you just simply, you know, say that this is the wild door, and I'm going to sit down, and I'm not going to do anything about it. If someone truly accuses you of wrong, that you have a right to stand up for yourself. And so Mussolini has some he has stood up for himself, and he cornered that woman. And then she gave, she gave in and she caved in. And she said that it is this man who put me up to this and he paid me to do something like this
and so forth. And that is when some of the books of the FCA they mentioned that Musar a son at that time, he was so upset at what Qarun had done. And you know, he was trying to shame him in from the public, that he prayed to Allah subhanho wa Taala that he is swallowed by the Earth and hence the the Earth has swallowed him up. And despite the fact that he had asked, he asked forgiveness, for Musashi he saw Mussolini ism was not willing to forgive him and thus our own met his end and he was swallowed up by the Earth and this is something that's going to be mentioned. But what we learned from this is that you know, we talked about the how many crimes that he committed, but this is also
talks about the how resourceful he was to how useful is resourceful he was the Quran says and this is for Buhari him What Are They Now homie they'll canoes we gave him treasures now treasures this word does not really capture the essence. The word Ken's means a treasure. canoes means many treasures. So what that means is that he had perhaps not just one vault, or one place or one room of treasure, he has so many rooms, and each of them were filled with so much treasure in gold and so forth. And not only that, but the Quran also says Matt, in nama Fatiha who let her know
that how there were so many men who are needed to open these vaults and the word McPhatter here is a very interesting word because the word miftah if you think about it, the word Mr. In Arabic means a key. The plural of that word is Muthiah T. Ta Yeah, in her at the end, Marfa t. Here, this word is mfam T Ha, there's no yeah, here, which means is that many of the organizers say that this comes from the event of is Mavado here, which is musta. So morality, which implies that these treasures and these vaults were so big, and they were so magnificent. And the doors were so heavy. And think about this, you know, if you have ever gone to a bank, you know, especially a long time ago you had
even nowadays, you have like sometimes they put the key and you have the spinner, they would open it and so forth. And then they would have like, you know, like probably you need a very strong man to like open the vault and so forth. And then people would go and you know, they had those safe deposit boxes and so forth. So I mean, think about this, these were doors that were so heavy, as some automat have interpretated that perhaps there are so many men that were needed to open the door to these vaults. So Allah subhanaw taala is telling us how resourceful he was how you know how rich he was, and so forth. But at the same time Allah subhana wa Tada says that the people of his community
said to him, Latta, fre that do not be happy. What does that mean? That do not be happy? If Allah has given you so much can you not be happy? So what this led to fry here in this ayah means is that do not let this be a means of your happiness. Because there are some people that when they lose money, they become really sad and the only way that will put us the only thing I can put a smile on their face is by making more money nothing else will bring them happiness or nothing then nothing will bring sadness to them unless it is related to money. And yes, we all do get sad at times you all do get happy. You know you get a job, you're happy you lose a job, of course you're sad, but
that you know when a person has become
so attached to this dunya that everything revolves around this dunya and the dunya is everything to them. The dunya is was bringing happiness to them the dunya is was bringing sadness to them, then this is where we need to understand this that Allah subhanaw taala saying that the frog, or the people are telling our own lotta frog. So this is what a lot of raw here means. So what do we learn from this idea? Because it's always about the lessons and reflections. The very first thing is that yes, we live in the dunya and yes, we can be attached to this dunya but we have to always understand that the love of Allah subhana wa Taala always should supersede the love of this dunya there is
nothing wrong in saying that I love the dunya or I like the things is dunya you know, we always like to have a good house and a good car. There's this is all part of them. Yeah, too. There's nothing wrong with that. But at the same time, that we love these things, and we are okay with these things and we live with these things. But always it is always going to be about Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah and His Prophet SAW Selim, at all at the core of everything when it comes to love, who is at the core of that love, it is Allah and Prophet sallallahu it was setting up. Another thing that we learned from this idea is that family cannot protect you when it comes to a family. Uh, no family
can protect anyone else from Allah subhanho wa Taala when it comes to Allah subhanho wa Taala or is only Allah that can protect us. So that's why it is always very important that we connect ourselves with Allah subhanho wa Taala and pleasing Allah should be the priority of our life. And another thing that we learned from this ayah also is that just like family cannot protect us. Likewise, resources cannot protect us. So when Allah He does not really matter what language we speak, it does not matter what tribe we belong to, it does not matter what country we come from and so forth. If there's one thing that will make us successful in this dunya and akhira. It is our connection in our
dialogue with ALLAH SubhanA with the Isla and as Allah says sudo fragility in a coma command Allah He come the most honorable person in the eyes of Allah subhanho wa Taala is not based on color, or which race we belong to or what language we speak, or whether I'm Arab or non Arab, and so forth. It purely comes down to the who has the KOA in front of Allah subhanho wa Taala the next ayah Allah subhanho wa Taala says, What would deadly female attack Allahu dal Akela when I attended Santa Ceiba, Camilla dunya, were asked in coma accent Allahu uniqa What type of real facade the fate of Subhanallah this idea in itself many times we read this idea, but this idea is giving us Allah is
giving us four important advices four important advices were those advices bear with me here and listen to this. Allah says first of all, what le fie man attack, Allahu Akira, that first of all is that that seek the world that which Allah subhana wa Taala has bestowed on you the home of the Hereafter. So Allah Subhana Allah is telling us that be cautious of the hereafter be, you know, understand that the hereafter is the primary goal. The hereafter is where we all have to go just like think about this. When I you know, we think about that I have to pay my taxes, I have to submit my taxes, there's always a deadline for that, we always know that there's deadlines coming or
there's a certain person that I have to face. When it comes to my job, I have to talk to my boss, or I'm gonna have to come face to face with my bosses at certain you know, situations and so forth. So always remember that the hue after is a place that you and I and we all have to go and we have to face Allah subhanho wa Taala So Allah is telling us what with Wi Fi man, Allahu dal akhira the Be conscious of your of the hereafter. Advice number two is when a 10 cent a C becoming a dunya. And Allah subhanaw taala saying that find your share. And do not forget to a portion in this dunya also mean that take care of yourself take care of your dunya also, but not at the expense of your hero,
not at the expense of your Accra. So take care of your dunya for all of us. There is a shear for us in this dunya Allah is saying that go and find that share. Absolutely go out and take care of yourself. Take care of your dunya also, and then he says we're asking karma Asad Allahu Naik and treat others in a good way the way Allah treated you. So the third advice of Allah is that treat other people take care of other people. Do not, do not be overwhelmed about yourself. Do not be consumed about your own personal interests, but also take care of other people look after other people And subhanAllah we're going through this crisis right now. There is no better time than to
you know, to look after people then this time this is the time where we go out there are so many people who are in need going and looking after people even if it's just a simple phone call. Call each other how are you doing?
meaning, is there anything I can do for you, even if you don't have to go somewhere, just even paint, you know, just, you know, taking the time out of your busy schedule, calling someone and not because you want something from them just calling them how are you? How's your family? Is there anything I can do for you, that means that you're looking after other people. And then Allah subhanho wa Taala says, one that will heal facade and do not be from amongst those whose cause chaos on Earth. So for advices of Allah subhanho wa Taala number one is take care of your akhira number one, number two is take care of yourself, there is a share for yourself in this dunya achieved that
no doubt no problem, but not at the expense of your actual art take care of yourself. Number three is take care of others. Number four is do not cause chaos on earth. Now, when we look at Corona Corona did not do any of these things. He not do any of these things. He forgot about the alcohol. He never even the share that he had. That his responsibility. He never did everything that he had to do, he took this dunya at the expense of his akhira. Number three is he never too he never looked after other people. Number four, he was whispered on and causing corruption on earth. The fact that Finn owned will do all this and he was standing by for own and he was approving of finance actions
makes him a volume also. So the reason why Allah subhanaw taala said this is because Allah is giving us four advices that these are four things that you need to do. At the same time. Param did not do any of these four things. This is why Allah subhanaw taala he mentioned this idea. Now after that, we also learned that there were some people, you know, you're always going to find those kinds of people who were envious, who are envious of our own and his and his success, the money that he had. So Allah subhanho wa Taala he refers them to, but before that Allah subhanho wa taala. He also talks about the arrogance of Arun Musala ism comes to him and says, Allah has given you so much, why don't
you give some some of it away? And he says, Why should I give it away? In nama Oteiza, who Allah elimina nd I have I achieved this because of my hard work. I went, I studied, I work hard, I got the degree, I got the job. I studied well, I did all this and that. And now Now today, I have a fortune and you want me to spend it upon others, and Subhanallah today, this is the mentality of many people. In fact, today even within this country, too, you see that people who are so wealthy, I mean, the more a person has, first of all, we have to understand that it's not because of us that we have this wealth, it is because of ALLAH SubhanA wa Taala there are so many people who are so smart
and so intelligent, but Allah has not given them so a person who has first of all, they need to realize that Allah is the One who has given them. But today when those kinds of people are approaching you ask them that why don't you give something What do they say that I'm the one who worked hard and now you are me to spend money on those who do not wish to work hard, not realizing that that's not what we're supposed to look at, what we need to realize is Allah is the One who gave us this money, and we should be spending this money on his creation and helping other people. Allah gave us we should share with other people in this is what Allah subhanho wa Taala was from us. And
Allah tells us, the Quran was the complete opposite. So always remember that whatever we have, never be arrogant on what you have. And what we have. Always remember that Allah subhanaw taala is the one who has given us this. And if Allah wants, Allah can take all of it away in the snap, you know, in you know, in a blink of an eye basically, and Allah Subhan Allah can take away everything, everything that we have. And so that's why I never we should be arrogant on what we have always say Alhamdulillah and when the opportunity comes, always try to go out of your way to help other people. If you cannot help out by giving something there's so many other ways that you can help other people
out, then coming back to these people who were envious of God on and so forth. Allah subhanho wa Taala mentioned that they were envious of our own at the same time when our own was destroyed and he was swallowed up by the Earth.
They said you know they were that dies when they realized that your money and your your your position will not help you and they actually even said no, not a Manila who Alina Hassan verbena, that if Allah subhanaw taala did not have mercy on us, we would have also been along with that person. So what we learned from this is that making sure that number one is that do not be envious of anyone else. Whatever you have, say Alhamdulillah and you move on in life, you know Subhanallah many times we are so envious of others and think about this Imagine if you ever said that oh Allah I want the life of that person. You know, it's many, many times we say this, we see we see a person
that mashallah they have a nice car, they have a nice house. You know, we think that everything is going on normal in their life. But I would you know, this is something that when you do research you will learn
and that will lie, there's people who have so much money in this dunya so much money in this dunya and you read about them, but they're struggling in their personal life, they're not happy behind the screen. They're not happy, when they are alone. They're not happy with their family and so forth. So that's why you should never be envious of someone's life. Because if you say, If we say that I want that person's life, then we're we're saying to Allah subhanaw taala is that Oh Allah, you know, I want their life meaning that I want the good and if there's bad in their life, I want that bad in my life. And that's not what we should be making dua for rather, you should always say Oh Allah, Oh
Allah, you have given such a such person and nema. Oh, Allah increase that nema. Oh Allah grant me something similar, you can say that kind of dua, or you can just make a simple plain Oh Allah give me this, or Allah grant me this, through your Rama, to your mercy and so forth. There's nothing wrong in doing that, but always try to stay away. Because these people they were envious of our own. And that is when they realize towards the end, that Allah have mercy upon them, otherwise, they would have also been destroyed. So that's why do not be envious of other people's lives. Whatever you have, say Alhamdulillah and Wallahi, you will go when you travel the earth. And when you go
around other people, you will see that there are so many other people who are less fortunate than you who have much less than you and I, and that is when we say Alhamdulillah. But that's why I do not be envious of anyone else's life. Whatever position we are in, we say Alhamdulillah. And another thing that we learned from this idea is also that when you are with someone else, and when you are envious about someone else, here once again, Allah subhanaw taala, save them. But the owner, they say that perhaps Allah could have destroyed the same people, because they were envious of Karuna and so forth. So that's why what we learned from this is that once again, if we are around people who
commit alone, if we are around people who do wrong, they remember the on the Day of Judgment, we will be held accountable with them, we will be with them. So this is why it's very, very important that we don't ever put ourselves in that kind of situation. And not only that, but even if you are like see once again, you know going back to this going back, you know going back to the story of Masada your son when he was accused by the woman to you know, cartoon is a volume of here korunas clearly the volume over here, Allah subhanaw taala destroyed him. So we have to understand that people who do learn eventually Allah's wrath will come upon them. But if I'm around them, if you are
around them, then when Allah's destruction comes upon them, it will come upon us also. That's why we have to always stay away from people who commit learn, and do not ever try to justify if they're doing wrong, we stay away from them, because that's not, you know, as they say, you are guilty by association. So that's why we don't ever want to put ourselves in that kind of situation. I ask ALLAH SubhanA without to give us ability to understand these things. Once again, there's so much that can be learned from this is from these is once again we talked about how you know we need to have a connection with Allah subhanaw taala resources will not help us our family connections will
not help us. Allah gave us four advices and not only that, but in the upcoming ayat that first of all, whatever Allah has, I mean we talked about wherever Allah has, you know, you always think Allah subhanaw taala, share with others and so forth, do not be arrogant, and at the same time, do not be envious of other people's lives. And do not be around those who come and learn and who are who are divinely mean, perhaps one day if Allah's wrath comes upon that it could come upon us also ask ALLAH SubhanA whether to give all of us ability to understand these things. May Allah subhanaw taala keep us from amongst those who remember him day and night. And we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to keep us
away from the moody mean on the Day of Judgment immunoblot Alameen wa salam Wa Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa barakato
