they are active. But as a whole, for the most part, we are not active. We don't know what is going
on in our society. We are completely oblivious every every single time the word elections come
around, brothers and sisters elections does not only mean that who's going to be the next president.
It also means that what is going on in your own community, when we talk about school and the gun
		

			violence that happens in our schools. And let us always remember that our children are they are part
of the society. It can happen if it has happened at a public school, it can happen at any other
school, because this is the society that we live in.
		

			So when we talk about gun violence, when we talk about our situation here in our cities, elections
have to do with everything. And as a Muslim, we should know what is going on in our own community.
We should know what's going on in our own society. Brothers and sisters Rasulullah salAllahu alayhi
wa sallam is the perfect example for all of us. Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam Never Was he
in a situation that he was oblivious. And he did not know what is going on. When he went to send

is not by going and doing the same exact of ignorance what they're doing, but it is about going and
educating. It's about going and being part of your community. Even nowadays, I say, Do not call
churches and find a way to be part of them. Go to the soup kitchens, go to these food pantries go to
these kinds of places. And when you work with them, that is when they will see the true colors of
		

			what Islam is today. This is very, very important that we must do this. We need to show people what
is the true color of Islam.
		

			The next thing I will say is which is very also very important, which ties into these two points is
that when we come across ignorant people, we do what Allah subhanaw taala has told us in the Quran,

community, our participation in society will speak volumes. So that's why it's always very important
that when someone comes and they just simply want to object and not only that, forget about people
		

			who are not from the Muslim community, even from within the Muslim community, people will come and
they will say this is not from the Sunnah, and this is against Islam and so forth. But you keep on
doing the work because when you know that you're doing something right there and is proven from the
Sunnah of the Prophet SAW Salem, you keep on doing what is right.
		

			I ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to make our situation better. It is a very first of all, as we are
dealing with this pandemic as it is, the entire world is dealing with this pandemic as it is. And it
only hurts when you hear these kinds of situations. That yes, there were wrongdoings done on our
part to there were some people in the name of Islam, they did something very, very wrong to at the
