Final messenger
to all humanity.
Whoever Allah
guides, there is none to his guide, and
whoever Allah subhanahu alaihi wa sallam leaves to
go astray,
there is none to guide.
The
month of Ramadan is now old.
Some of us were forgiven
and some of us were not.
So some of us will be happy they
were fasting,
and some of us didn't get their sins
forgiven. So we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
to make us among those who have been
forgiven, and among those who will make it
to Jannah, and among those who would live
till next Ramadan. Ameed, Ameed, Ameed.
So today, inshallah,
we'll talk briefly about Jannah paradise
and how to make it there, and we
gave a brief description of Jannah and the
deeds that brings you and then bring you
closer to Jannah.
So the prophet SAW Salam, although
he was forgetting everything,
the past and the future, and he will
be in the highest place in Jannah, but
still he was asking Allah
to give him Jannah and to protect him
from the hellfire.
And this was then the Khadiyat and ibn
Majah and Abi Dawood. A man came to
the prophet
so the prophet
said,
what do you say in your dua, salaam?
So the man said,
when I say my shashamud,
before the salaam, I say, oh, Allah, give
me Jannah and protect me from the hikmai.
Then he said, oh, prophet of Allah,
I'm a very simple guy. I can't make
fancy dua like you and Muhal.
So the prophet
said, that's all we say in our dua.
Oh, Allah, give us jannah and protect us
from the hilfire. We don't say anything, special
in our dua. That's all we say.
So the prophet says, it was his Yani,
tradition, his way to give his Sahaba the
good news of Jannah. Of course, we know
the 10, Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali
and the rest of them, but he gave
Bashar good news to many of his Sahaba
that they will go to Jannah and we
don't know their names. They are not mentioned
in the habib. Their names are not given.
And, also, some of his sahaba, they passed
away in his lifetime, and he said that
they went to Jannah after they passed away.
So in this within the hadith, the prophet
said, I saw Jahan and Jannah lying with
the angels, and I saw Khamzat
lying down on his bed in Jannah. So
this is the description that the prophet
gave to some of the
So there is a lot of description given
about Jannah in the Quran and in the
sunnah, but Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala tells us in the Quran and in
the sunnah that whatever you think of Jannah,
it is beyond what you think. You cannot
confirm him how beautiful and
beautiful and magnificent and great Jannah is. So
the prophet says in that
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says so it's the
puts a kadeed.
I have prepared for my righteous servants
that which no eye has ever has ever
seen
and no ear has ever heard of and
no heart has ever comprehended.
This is the description
given in the Quran and in the sunnah.
Of course, we are told about the trees
of Jannah, the palaces, the rivers, the food,
the gates of Jannah, and so on and
so forth.
So the Quran talks about different things in
Jannah, the gates, the palaces, the rivers, and
so on and so forth. It says, for
example, that the people in Jannah would be
60 feet in height.
And this is particularly good good news to
someone who's short like myself. Sixty feet is
is very tall.
It also talks about the rivers and so
on and and so forth.
But we are told whatever you think of
Jannah is much much better.
Because
now, no matter
how Jannah is described in the Quran and
Sunnah, we are not equipped
to comprehend
how beautiful and magnificent Jannah is. Now imagine
the people who lived 1500 years ago, if
you wanna describe an iPad for them, no
matter how simple you try to explain, they
would they don't understand what you're talking about.
Facebook and Wi Fi and,
Internet wireless Internet and Facebook and
Skype and all that stuff. They don't know
what you're talking about. What is electricity and
all that stuff? No matter how simple you
try to explain, they can't. They can't comprehend.
And the same is also true for the
description of Jannah.
So we are told this is with regard
to the description of Gaza, regarding the pleasures
in Jannah.
There are so many of them, but I'm
gonna give a few just a flavor.
So we are called that Jannah the people
in Jannah would have no jealousy in the
cause. No envy.
They would have no worries.
So if you have issues with your wife
or your husband in in in this duniya,
in Jannah, no hatred,
no jealousy, nothing. People would just love each
other.
You don't need to hate no one in
Jannah. Everybody will love other people in Jannah.
So in Jannah,
no worries, no fear.
No fear in
Jannah. No. Where is in Jannah? What should
you worry about?
There are no illnesses
in Jannah.
You don't have to worry about the cold
in the winter
and the snow in the winter. You don't
have to worry about the heat and the
mosquitoes in the summer. You don't have to,
worry about taxes all year long.
Everything is free, so you don't have to
worry about GST.
In Jannah, everything is free forever. And this
is what Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says.
So the people in this dunya, they have
2 words.
Number 1, especially if you have money, if
you have a job, if you have a
wife and children, you have 2 words. Number
1, that these pleasures will be taken away
from you.
You will be fired. You will lose your
money. Your wife will divorce you.
Or that you will be taken from the
pleasures by death, so you will leave the
pleasures behind. And Allah
tells us in the Quran
that you are staying there forever, and the
pleasures are not taken away from you. So
don't worry about all these things.
So we are called in the Quran
that one of the pleasures we have in
Jannah that you will be with your beloved
ones.
If your son died in your lifetime, you
will be with him.
If you lost your parents in this dunya,
we'll be in with them in Jannah because
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala this is the way
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala completes his favor upon
you in Jannah. This is what they say
in the tafasir.
Some will be raised in rank, so they
will be with their beloved ones.
Nur alaiqsala,
Musa, Aisa, Ibrahim Yusuf, all of these great
prophets. You will see them and talk to
them face to face.
And also talking to the prophet
you love so much in this dunya, you
try to follow his example all the time,
you heard about him in history books, and
when you went to Madinah and you stand
in front of his grave where it says,
here you can give salam to the prophet
salam, and you saw it and shed tears.
Now imagine when you go to Jannah and
talk to him and give him salaam, and
he'll give you salaam back and call you
by your name. Is there any pleasure greater
than this one?
There is one.
Seeing Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. We'll have them
in a'aba min nayeem.
Prophet says in the authentic hadith, where the
people of Jannah will go to Jannah, Allah
will ask them,
is there anything that you hope for, that
I that you would like me to give
you? They say, oh, Allah, you have brightened
our faces.
You gave a jannah, and you protected us
from the hellfire. What else can we go
for?
Then the hijab, this curtain will be lifted,
and they would see Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
and they have never loved anything in jannah
more than looking at the face of Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala. And this is also mentioned
in the Quran as Allah, Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala,
and the papalamin des barihan.
So everyone wants to go to Jannah. If
I'm gonna ask everyone in the masjid,
would you like to go to Jannah or
no? Of course, everybody will raise up their
hands.
The Quran tells us even the kuffar, they
would like to go to Jannah.
Even the kuffar.
But
those who will go those who deserve it.
So Jannah is an honor. Only those who
deserve
it. You have to be a part in
this sunniyah. You have to work hard, do
righteous deeds, and Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, will
give you Jannah. This is what Allah, subhanahu
wa ta'ala, says in the
So if you would like to go to
Jannah and you don't do your deeds, you
don't fast, you don't pray, you don't give
zakah, so on and so forth,
then you just have high expectations
without doing your best,
then you are fooling yourself.
You have to do your best, so Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala will give you
The last thing I wanna I wanna give
today
as,
a thing that will lead to Jannah is
obey
and serving your parents and be kind and
good to them.
Number 3, serving your parents and be good
to them. I'm asking
to strive in the way of Allah to
go to Jannah. So the prophet
said, is your mom still alive?
So he said, yes. Then the prophet told
him, go and serve your mom indeed Jannah
is under her feet. And the hadith is
insayat. And
the
