We'll get a very special guest,
a distinguished guest.
And this guest comes once a year.
And this guest is the month of Ramadan.
The Sahaba
used to make dua that Allah would give
him life
So we all ask the most
to give us the life,
the strength
to live up to the month of Ramadan
to be able to fast this month and
to get all the blessings of that great
month.
So whether you want or you wish or
not, the month of Musa'i is coming
if it is the will of Allah
But what about you? Are you ready
for this month?
If you recite the Quran or if you
hear the Quran recited
and the imam is reciting
some person to talk about the hellfire
or jannah,
if you receive both of them the same
or you don't care or you don't feel
anything in your heart,
then you have a frog in your heart.
If you see the Janazah and the Russian
people praying Janazah for someone who died, and
you even go with them to the graveyard,
and you sit to the side, you stand
to the side joking with the guys who
are chit chatting,
then you have a problem in your heart.
If you see Muslims being killed every day,
and the Muslim blood is the cheapest on
earth,
And you don't feel very sympathetic for them.
They may have a problem with your heart.
And the easiest way, for example, is if
you are watching a lecture with your family
or nation about, for example, the suffering of
the Sahaba or the death of the prophet
and
everybody around you is weeping and crying, and
you are sitting there digging in your nose
or scratching your head, you don't know what
is going on.
If you have all these things,
then welcome to the club,
the club of the stony hearted people, the
hard hearted people.
Or organ in the in the body that
if it is sound in the whole body
is sound, if it is corrupt, the whole
body is messed up.
And this organ is the heart.
It's one of the smallest organs in your
body, but it is the most important one.
The prophet
in another authentic hadith narrated by Abu Ghayyas
says 3 times in this authentic hadith
does not judge you by how handsome you
look or how tall you are or how
big muscles you have, but Allah
will judge you by the purity of your
heart and the sincerity of your actions.
And we ask
the
The second type of hearts is the dead
heart.
Nothing is dead completely.
Allah
talks about some people in the Quran, and
He says,
then your hearts
became so hardened
to the point that they became as hard
as stones or even hard.
You are dead complete nothing.
The first type of hearts are the people
who have sick hearts.
Their heart is alive, but it is sick.
If Allah
gives them someone to advise them a good
company,
then they listen.
But if Allah
gives them a bad company,
a bad influence in their life, they just
go astray. They fall off the wagon
and so on and so forth.
Okay.
Is a transition,
and this life is very short.
Hayafi adid munyaqaziyal.
Or as I say in Somali, nulosho wayat
halal,
life is very short.
So what kind of a lie with this?
If you are an Ramadan like an owl,
you sleep all day and you play all
night. And if this is your last Ramadan,
how can you meet Allah
with with this kind of fasting?
And we know that through experience, the first
couple of times, you commit a sin, you
feel very remorseful,
you cry,
and you feel very regretful.
But the 5th time, and the 7th time,
and the 15th time, you do the same
sin,
you wanna put a charity in Hashem or
give charity to the board, they tell you,
no. Come on, man. You will go broke.
Your kids will be homeless.
Just go play, you know, play something. Do
something crazy.
Direct your attention, distract your attention from Allah
and they guide you toward evil.
So to revive your heart, you have to
have a good company. That's Allah
There are so many ways, omission and reason,
and how to revive your heart, how to
soften your lives.
That first one is to be mindful of
Allah
to keep Allah
in front of you,
to speak to Allah
all the time, as the prophet
did.
And Allah tells us in the Quran,
those who believe
and are mindful of Allah subhanahu
wa'ala, they mention him all the time,
and those who mention Allah subhanahu wa'ala, they
have tranquility
in their hearts.
So the second thing that you can do
to soften your heart or why your heart
resuscitate
your heart Islamically
is to always think of Adil, to think
of the brain. And all that you will
do or say when you stand before Allah's
punishment.
The prophet
tells us in the Usid e kaneer,
I used to forbid you
from going to the graves, visiting the graves,
but now you can visit them because they
will make you
chin tears,
and they will soften your hearts, and they
will remind you of the next life,
as the prophet prophet said in the 3rd
place.
You.
Those people who will remind you of the
lost hand of Allah, you forget.
If you fall off the wagon,
they will give you a hand,
and they will support you, and they will
put you back on track.
You always question your intentions.
Why did I do this? Why did I
do this? What is the benefit of doing
this? Am I doing the right thing?
So number 4, and this is the last
one for today, you have to judge yourself.
Always blame yourself. Why did I do this?
Why am I so foolish? Why did I
wait until the month of Ramadan? I didn't
have the right the right thing.
You don't do the halal, but you do
the halal. What kind of mentality is this?
You often judge yourself. Judge your intentions. Am
I doing this for the right reason?
Will this bring me closer to Allah
Will this take me to Jannah or otherwise?
So be smart,
be intelligent,
plan ahead of time, and so you have
prepare yourself for the month of Ramadan.
