So,
how's everyone doing?
So,
how's everyone doing? Thank you. So about a
month ago, we had, brother Akbar Ali from
the, Muslim welfare center. Yep. And, he spoke
to you about how they help the refugees
and, how you can help.
So today, inshallah, we have brother Mohammed Jahan.
He is the, president or the
the general manager
of the, Muslim welfare center.
Before I introduce him to speak, inshallah, I'm
gonna ask sister Sadia to tell you something
related to,
one of the brother's donation, please.
Assalamu alaikum, everyone.
Our grade five raised money for a little
boy who was battling cancer for the last
2 years,
and his last wish before
passing away
was that
he would be able to raise enough money
to build a well for the children that
are not able to have clean water.
So last week he passed away, but, alhamdulillah,
our class was able to raise $200
to help with the cause.
Thank
you. So, inshallah, the money would be donated
to, Islamic relief,
to contribute toward building a well in Africa
to help, provide clean water for people over
there, inshallah. So I'm gonna introduce brother, Mohammed,
Han. I'm gonna give him the mic, inshallah.
He's gonna talk to you about the Muslim
welfare center, and, what they do basically inshallah.
And at the end, inshallah, we'll offer,
the food you raised or collected in the
last few weeks inshallah. So they're gonna take
the food and give it to the needy
families and the refugees.
So on behalf of Muslim representative, I would
like to thank you,
to the management,
brother,
Sandrof, president. Mostafa. Madam Mustafa and brother,
like, all the management as well, like, to
support Muslim and the Sandrof Food Bank, especially,
say, refugees
as well.
Like, as you know, like, we are very
blessed to live in this country.
We don't see normally any hunger issues, but
when we see outside Canada, especially, like, in
Asia and Africa and Syria,
Very well, like,
people are suffering. Suffering not only for the
food, but also they they are not living
in a peaceful condition.
And Muslim embassy
from
last 23 years,
working in social welfare projects, so that we
started the food bank.
So we are helping more than 13,000
clients every year.
Okay. Those who are newly immigrant in Canada,
those who are not, very well settled here,
they're also looking for the food. And all,
like, your contribution, your usual contribution, like, even
they get a cane of food is helping
them and helping,
to those families who are suffering from need,
especially, like, hunger. We try to eliminate the
hunger through our food bank. And nowadays, like,
every
day we see, like, a lot of pressure
coming on on local food banks. And also,
like, being as a Muslim, we also try
to help everyone in respect of religion, nationality,
caste, or creed. So I really, like, thank
you very much again to helping Muslim representer
and Muslim representer full time. Thank you.
The Muslim the Muslim Welfare Center of Food
Bank, like brother Rehan said, is open year
round. They help lots of people.
So at any time, if you guys ever
want to have a canned food drive or
have extra canned food at home, please go
donate it there. They also collect clothes and
other things as well. And during the month
of Ramadan, we have a special project called
project Ramadan.
We build around 4,000 baskets
of food for different needy families. So hopefully,
Insha'Allah, around that time, I'll come back and
explain that project to you guys, and, we'll
get you guys involved. But we wanna thank
you from the bottom of our hearts,
for
collecting all these foods, and just know that
even one can of food, like brother Rehan
said, will help someone,
not go hungry for that day.
So we have actually a gift. Like I
told you, I was gonna bring a gift,
so I kept my word. We have a
gift here,
and we'll give it to Imam Mustafa, and
he'll give it to one of the teachers.
So we want to give it to 1
boy and 1 girl who exemplified,
the spirit of this canned food drive. Someone
who exemplifies the character
of giving back to other people. So we'll
leave it with Imam Mustafa and the teachers
to decide who that one boy and one
girl is that, did that. So
thank you so much for having us, everybody.
Oh, this is my favorite,
candy here.
And I know some of you will try
to kidnap me to take the candy,
and,
we'll try to find someone.
Anyway,
so we're gonna present the 2 letters here.
One letter for the organization, and the other
is a check for the $200, and also
we'll go downstairs to, get the food inshallah
that you collected.
Don't forget to subscribe. Assalamu alaikum.
