Mustafa Khattab – Ramadan Worship

This month inshallah. Now, one quarter

of the month is gone. One quarter, 25%

of the month is gone. And this month

goes very fast as we said before, this

is why we call it fast. The first

day,

the top is,

but afterwards,

you open your eyes and the month is

gone.

SubhanAllah.

So

before we speak about the different Ibarat that

the Rosh Haqarah did in this month, we

have to remind ourselves

of the blessings

and the virtues of this month.

We start with the the virtue in the

next life. We're told

that the people will fast probably in this

dunya

in the year after they had they would

be getting a VIP treatment.

Through which those who would fast properly will

go through this door. So when the last

one of them has entered, the door will

be closed so nobody else will enter.

So as I said, those who fast properly.

I'm not talking about those who hide our

names all day long, they sleep, and they

say the whole night in front of Facebook.

How are you gonna hit up this door

if you didn't fast properly? Okay? So you

have to do the requirement

to go through this door.

So this is the treatment in Adam, the

VID statement.

Then in this dunya, we're told in the

that

if you fast properly, if you do a

large part, then your sins will be forgiven.

And we are talking about minor sins because

in the other I mean, the prophet

says So the prophet explains this

This is not forgiveness.

The other thing is, the word for good

deeds are multiplied infinitely in this month. There

are many of this hadith about the Ummah

and Ramadan, you will give that a word

of hash for example.

As the prophet says,

Every good deed of the son of Adam,

thy salah be you Quran, salah.

You know that word is

up to 10, 700, and the Lord will

give more. But fasting, there's no definite word

given in Hadith. Why? Because Allah says that

a word is absolutely, and I'm the one

who gives that word. And Allah kareem, you

will give infinitely.

So what do you need to do in

this month? What you need to do is

to do what is required to reach that

level of tawla during this month, and to

give the lafar of forgiveness in Allah subhanahu

ala.

And the best example that we said at

the beginning is to follow the example of

the prophet

fasting,

when you go for Umrah, when you sit

for antikaf in the masjid, this is a

physical

and the Promised Saladin did all of them

in this month.

And as we said in the amount of

reminders,

there is no minimum for atikaf according to

the majority of the scholars. The Maggies, they

say the minimum is one day and one

night, but the majority of the scholars, Imam

Khaneefah, and the Shekhan, and Imam Ahmad. They

say

year. This is a recommendation.

Why? Because you can put it forth. And

the money stayed with you for 350 days

The rest of the scholars, Imam Shaf, and

Imam Ahmed and Imam Ali,

they say there's no need to give Zakat

if you use it for personal use, for

beautification.

If you use it for personal use, then

it becomes even like your house, your car,

your

iPad, your shirt.

It's a personal thing. You use it for

personal use. But, if you buy the gold,

you keep it in your house.

So, when the prices go up, you sell

it. All of that, I must say you

have to give zakat on that money on

that gold regardless.

So this is the ruling in this case

that there's no sha Allah gives zakat in

this month because they're going to multiply it

instantly through this month. That's Allah subhanahu wa'ala

nations and the Zakat given by the members

of the community.

And they say, this was called

You

can give it to the masjid

a week from today, we're going to have

a fundraiser for the Masjid. So it is

good inshallah to give you a salah and

use a guide towards helping this Masjid,

helping the Muslim community for yourself and your

family. So I expect inshallah every brother,

during the night of Ramadan. So, I used

to give the talk between Tahoeye and I

would ask a question and the winner would

get $20

I usually put it in an envelope and

I give it to the brother or the

sister or the young one. I give them

the prize and Tahoeye.

So one night,

there was this brother, he had me ask

for it and I gave him the $20.

The same night, we had the fundraiser for

the masjid. I think it was around the

27th

of Raulah.

So the brother came to me,

he was talking to me. I need the

brother. He stuck into the mashup all the

time. So, he was talking to me and

all of a sudden

he started to cry.

I

don't know why he was crying.

So, he said, do you know the envelope

I gave you last night? I said, yes.

He said, do you know how much money

I put in that envelope? I said, well,

I didn't open it. I just gave it

to the, you know, the brother who was

collecting the funds. He said, the one I

have deleted for the the fundraiser

is the $20

I have from you.

A 100 grains, so the reward is 700

that Allah gives more.

He left.

How come Allah

gave me the masjid and he gave me

the donation for the fundraiser. I think it

was about $10,000

or something.
