People were killed. So, subhanAllah, in the month
of Ramadan,
close to the end of the month,
Muslims killing Muslims, who knows?
The what we can do is to make
gua for everyone. That Allah subhanAllah
will accept those who died al shahid, and
we ask Allah to give some patience to
their families, and we ask Allah to bring
those who did it to justice. I also
pray to Allah to make all Muslim countries
and the whole world safe and secure. Ameen
al Qarani So,
last night I referred to the saying of
Allama Iqbal
He said that the, the weak, they blame
the Qadr of Allah
So if something happens to them, they failed
in the exam, Oh, this is Qadr
Allah. Someone stole something from them, they don't
fight back, Qadr Allah They always blame the
Qadr
So, Allam Al Qudhan says, The weak, blame
the Qadr.
That the strong, they believe they themselves, they
are the Qadr Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. When
you look at the example of Muhammad
He was one man, and everyone was against
him. He was all by himself.
Then because he believed in his own mission,
slowly 1 by 1 people believed in him,
And by the time Muhammad
died,
Fihajatulwada'
when he did his Hajj, he gave the
farewell sermon, Hajjatulwada'
and he gave the final talk. The number
of people who were able to attend his
sermon and dulhad with him, the number was
a 124,000
people
in a matter of a few years,
because he believed in his own mission. And
as they say, if there's will, there's way.
Right? So you should believe in yourself,
and do what is good. What are the
best things that you can do in life?
We have been talking about gratification and what
will make you happy in this junya, is
to try
to make a difference around you. If if
you see something wrong, try to fix it.
Do something good, make a difference.
Right? Just like the prophets and the righteous
people, they always try to do something good
regardless of what they say about them. Because
someone
with a big mouth, they will always say
something against you, even if you are doing
the right thing.
They say back, well, I grew up in
the village,
with a little farm,
and they used to tell us only the
tree with fruits that will get hit with
stones.
Stones will be thrown at the trees with
the fruits all the time.
Trees with no fruits, no one would care
about them. So if you get attacked or
people attack you, even if you're doing the
right thing, you know that you're doing the
right thing and you shouldn't care too much.
Right?
So for example, in the case of Muhammad
SAW, they say, Oh, he was a magician,
a prophet.
And they know he is the best, and
everyone trusted him, Assadakul Amin.
If they had some valuables, money or gold,
they didn't trust each other. They trusted Muhammad
SAW Alaihi Wasallam, although they called him Majnoun,
crazy
magician,
a poet, but when it was time to
trust someone with their valuables, Muhammad SAW Alaihi
Wasallam was the one.
In that context,
there's a story
about Musa alayhi salam. It's not supported by
authentic hadith or anything.
Musa alayhi salam complained to Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala You Allah, I'm trying to do the
right thing here. I'm doing my best, and
people are saying bad things about me. Surat
Al Aqzab yayuhal adhina hamalu lataqunu kal adhina
azza Musa.
And people interpret it in different ways. Some
say he was accused of adultery.
They paid a woman
to accuse him of adultery. He was innocent.
Some say that he has some skin disease.
Some even said that he killed his own
brother, Musa alaihis salam. He he died of
natural causes.
They say he killed him. Right? So Musa
alaihis salam said, You Allah,
I'm trying to do the right thing here,
and people are distracting me. They're saying bad
things about me. Can you stop them, please?
Then Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said, You Musa.
Yusuf alaihis salaam giving the message and say,
Oh, he was in jail.
Musa alaihis salaam giving the message, Oh, he's
a killer, he killed a man.
Ibrahim alaihis salaam, How can you We believe
in you. Your dad is a Kafir.
Nuh alaihi salaam giving the Masjid, no. No.
No. We can't believe in you. Your son
is kafir.
Lut alaihi salaam giving the Masjid, no. We
can't believe you. Your wife is kafir.
So people will always say things about you,
even if you are doing the right thing.
So don't listen to them.
Just do your thing, and falaf move on
with your life.
I love these words from Al Hazar al
Basri.
Al Hazar al Basri, his words, subhanallah, were
like prophetic. If you see the statements from
Hazar al Basri, you think they were said
by a prophet. SubhanAllah, his words were so
powerful. He said, there are 3 things that
I do, and this is why I'm happy
in my life.
He said, alimtu
and narizqeelanyahhudahuwbayri
fasarahatnarsi.
He says, I know for sure
that my risk will never be taken by
anyone, so I put my heart at his
He says that I know that my work
will not be done by anyone except me,
my rebada, my good deeds. No one would
do that on my behalf, so I got
busy doing that.
And he said,
He said, I got busy with my own
mistakes and my own shortcomings as a home
as a human being. I don't have time
to criticize and talk about other people behind
their backs.
I I focus on myself,
this is why I have no time. I
just do the right thing and move on.
A lot of us,
as I mentioned the Tadr and blaming the
Tadr, maybe Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will test
you in a certain way. You will lose
your job.
The wife will ask for divorce.
Someone will die in the family. This should
not stop you. As I mentioned last night
that the Prophet SAW Alaihi Wasallam,
6 of his 7 children died.
Khadija Alaylam Alaihi died.
Zayina bint Hussain had died.
His uncle Abu Talib died. People were attacking
him. They tried to kill him. And the
Prophet
was smiling because he had a mission in
life. He has a goal, and he was
thinking big and aiming high. And he was
not distracted by all these small things. So
inshaAllah to achieve happiness, you should set a
goal for yourself, try to achieve it.
Forget about the challenges, if there is will,
there is way. Forget about people what people
will say about you, you're not good, you're
short, you're tall, they don't like your haircut,
they don't like the way you brush your
teeth. Someone will have something to say about
you.
There are 7,000,000,000 people in this world.
I would say at least 2,000,000,000 of them,
they don't even believe that Allah exists.
And some say, he has children.
And they say that Allah is Buza, Allah
is Aesa. They say bad things about Allah.
Some say Allah faqir, Allah is poor,
Allah is stingy, He's not giving us. This
is in the Quran. Allah
himself
was not saved from criticism.
So what about you? So again,
have a goal in life, try to make
a difference, do the right thing, don't worry
too much about what people say, they will
say something anyway, regardless. So inshallah, I'm gonna
show you a short video.
Somewhat, a brother I saw the video a
few years ago,
and the brother is from Pakistan.
And this brother has a medical condition,
but this didn't stop him from fulfilling his
rights to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
It doesn't stop him from working,
he doesn't sit at home and asking people
for donations or welfare assistance. He's working hard
despite of his disability.
He goes to work every day. I think
this video was taking a lot. So he
was fasting, he was going to work,
he has time for his kids, he's doing
homework with them, he's cooking with his wife
at home,
and he's doing Ibad, and he's making salamu
time, and he's reading Quran.
Despite of his ability because this brother is
a strong brother, he's weak. He's not weak.
He's not blaming Qadr. He himself is the
Qadr of Allah. So I'm gonna ask the
brother now inshaAllah to play the video. It's
only 2 minutes.
2 minutes. And
if someone is not able to see the
video Insha'Allah,
I'm gonna post it, tonight Insha'Allah on the,
Masjid's website. 2 minutes only. You will watch
it. It will, change your life and perspective
of things Insha'Allah. Again, turn the lights on.
Insha'Allah.
