This is a very special time. It's the
best time to get close to Allah
So I'm gonna start with this authentic hadith
from Muhammad salaam.
The narrator of the hadith, it's an authentic
hadith. He said that the prophet salaam claimed
the member one
day. The first step, he said, amil.
And when he took the second one, he
said amil. When he took the third one,
he said amil.
So after he finished, the Sahaba said, You
Rasulullah, why did you say amil 3 times?
He said because Jibril,
angel Gabriel, came to me the first time,
and he said that whoever witnesses the month
of Ramadan, whoever is present during Ramadan and
they don't get their sins forgiven, they are
losers. And I said ami.
It's true. Then I took the second step,
and Jibreel Alaihi Salam said,
whoever has 2 parents or one of them,
and they don't give that person to Jannah,
then this person is a loser. Because if
your parents are alive or one of them,
then
you are not nice to them. You are
not kind to them. They don't make dua
for you. Then you are a loser because
no one loves you more than your parents.
No one would care about you ever than
your parents.
He said, yes. My mother is alive. So
the prophet said,
Hadith is in, Muslim, Sahin al Sahih.
The prophet
told him, stick to her feet
yeah, and serve her. Be good to her
because Jannah is right there under her feet.
The 3rd time, the prophet told him,
Jibril Alaihi Salam said, whoever hears your name,
you Muhammad, and doesn't give you peace and
salam, then this person is a loser. So
when you hear the name Muhammad,
you say, alayhi salam, may Allah shower his
peace and mercy, Muhammad,
then whoever doesn't say it is is what?
He's a loser. So the prophet salaam alayhi
wa sallam said ami. Why?
Because when you give salam to the prophet
salaam alayhi wa sallam and ask Allah to
shower his mercy on him, then Allah subhanahu
wa a'ala himself
will give you 10 salam back. And if
Allah gives you salaam, He showers His rahma
on you, then khalas,
jannah, first class.
So this is the easiest way. So the
month of Ramadan is very special. Why? Because
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala makes it super easy
for you to get close to Him.
We pray a Bhu 2, 3 minutes ago.
We know from the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam, if you pray Farf like Bhu namaz,
then you get the reward for 70 Bhu.
Now you pray it, you got the reward
for 70 Bhu.
If you pray it to aqa as sunnah
after daw, you get the reward of Afar,
like the dawras, man revelation.
If you, for example,
make Ummrah in Ramadan, you will get the
reward of Hajj. We know this from the
hadith.
If you give Zakkha or Sanaka at Ramadan,
the reward is multiplied more times than any
other time of the year. And this is
why Mohammed salaam was exceptionally
generous, kareem,
all year long,
but he was very very generous in the
month of Ramadan.
We know that the shayateen are chained.
We know that the Jannah is wide open,
and we know that jahannam the doors to
jahannam are closed. Okay. Someone will say, okay.
If the shayateen are chained,
how how come that some people kill in
the month of Rama?
Some people steal in the month of Rama.
Some people lie. Some people commit zina. So
it means shayateen are loose. Right?
So the meaning of the hadith, the alhamah,
they explain this hadith
in different ways. They say that the big
shayateen are chained, but the small ones are
loose.
Or the Quran always talks about 2 types
of shayateen. There are the Jigni shayateen,
and there are the human shayateen.
So the jinni shalateen are easy to deal
with. If you say, awwutu billahimna shaytaanalajeem
or ayah kursi, they run away from you.
But for the human shalateen, if you give
them ayah kursi,
the human shalateen will give you the tafsir
of it. They don't run away.
And they are around you all the time.
Some you call friends. Some you call brothers.
How do you know them? Every time you
try to do something good, they say, no.
No. No. No. Don't waste your time. And
every time you try to do something bad,
they say, oh, let's go. No problem. Masha'Allah.
Let's go. I'm with you.
So these are the human shayateen. So the
jinnish shayateen, they are chained in the month
of Ramadan,
but the human shayateen, they are all over
the place. You save them wherever you go,
in the street, in the market, in the
store. They're everywhere.
Right?
So this is the first ex second explanation.
The the third one,
we know that
yourself in nafs
always motivates you to do what is wrong.
Even if the shayateen are chained,
but their influence is still there. And your
nafs always motivates you to do something wrong
because you like to do certain things. Allah
wants you to do the right thing to
do to go to Jannah, but yourself
is overwhelmed sometimes with desires, and we're human
beings, and we make mistakes.
So if you make forgiveness in this month,
Allah will accept you.
If you recite the Quran, you will get
very close to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. You
pray taweeh, you go to Jannah. You fast,
you go to Jannah. This is the reward
mentioned in the hadith of the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam. And as I mentioned last
time, last night in the taweeh,
Dua is very, very special in the month
of Ramadan, and this is one of the
ways to get very close to Allah,
especially Dua when you are fasting. The prophet
said, there are 3 people whose Dua is
never rejected.
One of them is the person who is
fasting. Every time you make dua, there is
a guarantee that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will
accept.
Also, when you look at the Quran, as
we said last night, the ayah that talk
about Ramadan in Surah Baqarah,
ayah number 86, the ayah before and the
ayah after.
There is an ayah in the middle that
talks about dua. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, whenever
my servants ask you Muhammad about me,
I am nearby. I'm close to them. I
will always answer this dua. The ayah before,
the ayah after they talk about the month
of Ramadan. So there is a reason why
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala put this ayah right
there to show you that Ramadan is a
very special time. You need to make a
lot of dua. And as I said, if
you want to to become rich,
billionaire with hasanat in the month of Ramadan,
always make dua for Muslims.
Everyone that alone forgive them and give them
Jannah. The prophet
says in the hadith, whoever makes dua for
Muslims,
Allah
will give him or her one hasala for
every Muslim they make dua for. So if
you say, you Allah, forgive all Muslims in
the world, you Allah, give them Jannah, give
them the shafa'ah, Muhammad
give them the reward for their fasting and
qiyam and salah, then Allah
will give you the reward for every Muslim,
which means 1,600,000,000
hasanats.
Right? And it takes less than 10 seconds.
So whoever doesn't take advantage of all these
good things that I mentioned, which are very
easy, it doesn't take a lot of effort
from you, then this person is a loser
as the prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam said.
We ask Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, to help
us fast in the best way, and we
ask Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, to give us
the reward in the adhah, and we ask
Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, to make us enter
through the door of Rayyan in Jannah, and
we ask Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, to give
us the firdaus al a'ala, and the shafa'a,
and
to give us from his hands to drink
from Al Khosaf.
