As you probably know, if you have been
following the news, there was a plane crash
in Cuba a few days ago.
And, many people lost their lives including
2, new Muslims.
2 reverts, brother Abdullah and sister Rosa.
So someone who's related to to them, is
asking for your dua for them, so I
ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to accept them
as shaheed and to give them them jalatu
firdaws, inshaAllah. Ameenir Abdul Almeen. So,
basically I'm gonna talk about
inviting people to Islam,
since we made the announcement.
One of the most beautiful things that you
can do in this life, you cannot find
a better job than inviting people to the
Dhirullah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. And this is actually
the job of the Prophets. What did they
do? They invited people to Islam.
And,
as I said, this is the best job
you can do in this world. Like, if
you have any other job, I'm not gonna
give you examples, but if you have any
other job,
the reward for this job is only here
in this dunya, more or less.
But inviting people to Islam, if someone accepts
Islam at your hands,
then Allah will give you the valakkah in
dunya and the reward in akhir.
And I believe, allahu 'alaam, no one has
more rewards than the Sahaba of the Prophet
SAW.
If you are from India, Pakistan, if you
are from Afghanistan,
if you are from Turkey,
Europe,
Africa,
many other countries,
your great great great great, grandparents accepted Islam
because of the Sahaba. And what happens when
you guide someone to Islam, if they do
something good they pray, they fast, they give
sadaqa, they go for Hajj, you would be
getting a similar reward.
If
you guide someone to do something good, you'll
be sharing the reward with them.
And,
in this way the Sahaba of the Prophet
SAW said that if all the generations that
came after
some of the reward will go to the
Sahaba for guiding us to Islam.
But if you guide someone to Islam and
they do something Haram, you are not sharing
the sin. You only take the good things
only, but if they do something Haram, you
are not sharing the sin.
So the prophet
asked the Sahabi, do you love Jannah? He
said, of course. Yes. I love Jannah. So
the prophet said,
the prophet
said, love for others
what you love for yourself.
The word brother here in the hadith is
a very general term in Arabi. Just like
the word man in English, it means man
and woman, and it also means your brothers
and sisters in humanity and also in faith.
And so on and so forth. So doing
Dawah is the best thing you can do.
So now
SubhanAllah,
every time I think of our presence here,
part of your your presence here, it should
teach people about Islam.
We Our job is not to convert, but
to convey the message.
Convey, not convert.
Everyone has free choice, but we just tell
them what we have. A lot of people
are not happy with what they have. They
are desperate for something else, and usually Islam
is not in their radar because of what
they see in the news, the movies, and
and the terrible things they see in the
news.
But if you show them Islam,
by example,
especially if you are successful in what you
do, you're a successful lawyer, you're a successful
doctor, realtor,
teacher, people will always look up to
you. So if you teach people about Islam
through your actions and talk to them.
Because some of us think, yeah, if I'm
a good Muslim, khalas, I don't have to
talk to anyone.
Well, no one was a better Muslim than
Muhammad salallahu alaihi wa sallam. He was the
best man, he has the best akhlaq and
the best manners, but still he spoke to
people and he invited them to Islam,
you know.
We are not here just to make money,
but to be good ambassadors
for the faith. And again, at the end
of the day, we tell people, this is
what we have. This is what Islam teaches.
There are what this is what Muslims stand
out for, and it is up to them
to choose Islam or not to choose Islam.
But you you provide for them an alternative.
Allah
says in Surakaf, Waqulil hakum marabbikum
famashaaafaliu
minwaman shaafaliu. You just show them the way,
but it is up to them to walk
this path.
So now, very 2 quick examples inshaAllah. I
was in
in the UK, London, UK in January with
a group of brothers. Maybe some of them
are here, Ambar Abbasara and some others.
And we're there for training on how to
do dawl,
especially to atheists.
So basically before we left the UK,
we did some straight Dua,
and we invited so many people to Islam.
You know, people in suits and ties and
mashallah, like highly educated and,
you know, not everyone was responsive.
So while we were talking to people,
we came across this guy, he's basically a
street clown.
His name was Aaron.
So some of us said okay, let's take
a picture with the guy, and when I
said okay, can we talk to him about
Islam? They said don't waste your time, he's
just here to clown around. He's not here.
He's not interested.
So after we took the pictures I posted
them on Facebook, but I spoke to the
guy and I said okay. Aaron,
do you have a few minutes? He said
yes. I said okay.
Imagine if you wake up,
you find yourself on an airplane
and you don't remember taking a flight from
Pearson Airport. You just found yourself on the
airplane.
There are some fundamental questions you have to
ask yourself if you didn't take the flight.
Number 1: What are you doing here on
this plane?
And number 2: Where did you come from?
And where you're going? Where is the plane
going to land?
And he said: Yeah, these are legitimate questions.
And I said: While you're asking yourself these
questions,
they started to serve food,
your favorite movie was on, DJ,
you know, all that good stuff, and you
just got so distracted. Do you think it
is fair to keep these questions in your
mind or get busy with the food, the
movie, and the DJ? He said: No, I
should ask myself these questions. So I said:
at the end of the day, eventually your
plane is going to land.
We're going to die and leave this world.
If you think of this planet Earth as
the plane
so eventually, you should ask yourself, who put
us here? What are we doing here? Where
do we come from? And where are we
going after? And he said, yeah. These are
very logical questions. And within 10 minutes, the
guy took shahala. He said because he told
him Allah put us here,
the purpose is to worship Him and eventually
we're leaving this world, we're going to Jannah,
Khas He took shahala immediately. Alhamdulillah.
Now the other guy, his name was Tom,
you know, he was a hard case. He
has so many questions.
So I explained to him, like, I think
we spent like over 2 hours with him.
Me and Imam Mahmoon from, Toronto, we Mahmoon.
We spoke for him for 2 hours.
Hard case. He asked a question after question,
and he said, Okay, I read the Quran,
it makes sense, everything makes sense except for
one thing. I said, Alhamdulillah, okay, what's your
problem?
Aqizat go mushkaleah
He said this ayah at the end of
Surah Hadid,
Alhamdulillah
Okay He said this life Allah says in
the Quran is nothing but play and amusement
But there are so many different things in
this world
And I said dude, everything else will fall
under play and amusement.
Right? He said but this doesn't make sense.
And I said okay, before I came here
to the UK,
they said,
the food in the UK is all about,
you know, chips and, fish and and, chips.
Chip and fries. Fish and chips. Fish and
chips. Fish and chips. Yes. So when I
explained to him, yeah, he said, yeah, we
have other foods, but what we are famous
for is, you know, fish and chips.
He said, yeah, makes sense.
We're we were in communication for several months.
He asked for a copy of the Quran
clear Quran. I mailed it to him, And
he was asking questions, asking questions questions, questions.
Right before Ramadan he traveled to Malaysia, then
to Brunei,
and he just texted me 1st day of
Ramadan he took shahal. Right?
So Allah
put it put us on his way
to teach him about Islam, but Hidayah at
the end of the day is in the
hands of Allah.
Same thing can happen to you. There are
a lot of people out there that are
desperate,
and if Allah
guides them through you, then this is better
than anything else in in this world. If
you don't have the knowledge to to speak
about Islam or invite someone to Islam, at
least give them a translation of the Quran,
give them a booklet, let them read and
reflect, and we ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
to give Hidayah to everyone. We'll continue tomorrow,
inshallah.
The question for last night, how many times
we say
in front and a young brother answered and
the answer was, 17.
2 for Khazrat 4
4 3, 4, and the winner is brother
Yahya,
ibn Yusuf is here. Yahya?
Fast?
Mashallah.
Jazakalaha
Yusuf, ascent.
High five. Jazakalaha, tag beer?
So as usual, inshallah,
If someone has janaba at night and someone
was intimate with their spouse at night and
they were able only to take shower after
fajr
or a sister, Yaani, finished her monthly cycle
before fajr, The bleeding stopped before Fajr, but
she was only able to take shower after
Fajr. Is her fasting valid or not?
Especially if they took the shower after Fajr,
after Adhanu Fajr, not before. If you know
the answer, email me before tomorrow asr at
