AI: Summary ©
The blessed month of Bara is highlighted as a reward for good deeds, a way to maximize reward for praying in a special place, and a way to give forgiveness to those fast. Fasting is emphasized as a necessary entry into Islam, avoiding dislike of activities and providing three groups of rewarded individuals involved in the activities. A fundraiser is also mentioned to help those who participate. Visits to Jannah are only allowed for those who fast in the right way, and participants should avoid wasting food and dislike activities.

I bear witness that there is not worthy
of our worship except Allah,
and I bear witness that Muhammad, peace
be upon him, is the seal of the
prophets and the final messenger
to all humanity.
Today, inshallah, I'm a talk about some of
the blessings
and some of the virtues of this blessed
month and how to maximize our reward in
this month.
So we know that
in fact that the reward for good deeds
are multiplied or is multiplied several times in
the special places and the special times.
So for example, if you pray in the
masjid Haram in Mecca,
you will get a 100,000
rewards,
and this is more rewards than any other
masjid in the whole world.
And, also, if you do acts of worship
in special times, like the month of Ramadan,
the reward is more multiplied than other month
of the year.
So, for example,
if you give or if you pray a
sunnah, for example, you get the reward of
fat.
If you pray fat like salatul qlabbi, you
will get the reward of 70 bull.
If you do a Umrah in Ramadan, you
get the reward of Hajj.
So the reward is multiplied in the special
times and the special places.
So
the honor, if you wanna understand the value
and the virtue of the month of Ramadan,
look at the honor that Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala
gives to those who fast in this life
and in the next life. So with regard
to the honor we get in this life,
this is narrated
in a Hadith in Al Bayhaji.
Ajayb ibn Abidah. Did the prophet
says that my ummah has been given 5
qualities in this month, and no prophet before
me was given these qualities.
Number 1, on the 1st day of Ramadan,
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will look at my
Ummah, and whoever Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala looks
at, he doesn't punish in the next life.
This person is forgiven.
Number 2,
those who fast,
the smell of their mouth
in the day of Ramadan are better in
the sight of Allah than the smell of
lust.
Number 3, the angels will make dua and
is the fall for you every day night
in the month of Ramadan.
And number 4, Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, will
order Jannah to get ready for you. And
Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, will say, get ready
for them. They are about to leave the
pain and the difficulties of this dunya and
move to my gender.
And number 5,
on the last day of Rababad, Allah
will forgive those who fast, all of them.
So the honor on the day of judgment,
those who fasted in the right way in
this world, they will get the VIP treatment
on the day of Jannah. They have a
special door, a special gate for them to
enter Jannah.
So the prophet says
in this authentic hadith in Bukhari and Muslim
that there is a gate in Jannah who
leads to Jannah that is called the.
Only the people who used to fast in
this world will go through this door. So
when the last one of them has entered,
the door will be closed so no one
else will be able to enter from that
door. So the honor is in this world
and in the next world.
Number 3,
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala makes it easy for
you to give his forgiveness in this month.
He opens the door
wide open for you.
If you look in the Quran in chapter
2, Surah Al Baqarah,
the person that talk about fasting, there are
several ones. And the last one of them
says, and when
my servants ask you, Muhammad, about me, tell
them I'm very close to them. I'm nearby.
So let them ask me and believe in
me so that that they might be rightly
guided.
And Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala don't put verses
there, like, for no reason. If Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala puts the verse of dua and
the verse of tawba next to the ayah
of fasting,
so it has something to do with Ramadan
and fasting. The door is wide open.
And the doors of forgiveness are wide open,
and the doors of the hellfire are closed,
and that the the, the devils are chained
in this month, the shayateel.
So Allah, Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, is making it
easy for you. So what do you need
to do? You need to start a new
sheet with
Allah Start a new page with Allah Subhanahu
Wa
Ta'ala.
So what you need to do? Number 1,
you have to quit
doing Haram, like eating from Haram resources.
Drinking or smoking, what is Haram? Suddenly, you
pay it with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. What
is the point?
What is the point
if Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala tells you to
quit doing something halal in the day of
Ramadan, like eating and drinking and being intimate
with your wife, then you do haram in
the day of Ramadan. What is the point?
If halal is haram in Ramadan, of course,
haram is is haram.
So this includes eating from haram resources,
smoking stuff you're not supposed to to smoke,
and I believe that smoking is haram. It's
a destruction of money. It's a destruction
of health.
So number 2, you have also to avoid
things that are disliked
like wasting food. In the month of Ramadan,
Muslims
are generous.
We invite people for Iftar in our house
and to show them who are generous. Alhamdulillah,
we make lots of food.
And we end up eating 30, 40% of
all the food that has been prepared, and
the rest of the food
is taken to the garbage. And this is
not acceptable.
Look at attitude. Look at your Muslim brothers
and sisters in different countries, in Syria,
in in in
many places.
Almost all of them, they have needy people.
So instead of wasting all that food, send
them the money. Sponsor orphans.
Help the new Masjid in the city.
Help with the different projects we have.
So to avoid the Muhammad or the Munkarath
in this month. Al Amrif Tharath was convenient
Shabaab Futtatilullah.
So number 3, you have to
start doing Ibadah. If you don't pray,
this is a good chance to start in
the month of Ramadan. And Allah, Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala, will accept from you, and He will
forgive you all the prayers you missed in
the last years of your life.
So how come a Muslim
fast in the month of Ramadan, 18 or
19 or 20 hours, and he or she
doesn't pray?
This is not come on. This is not
acceptable.
And you have the scholars fighting over you
whether to call you a Catholic or a
Fassid or a Sindhir.
Do you want to come on the day
of judgement and the angels fight over you
whether you are Catholic or in Hindu
fasting. Plus, as I said, fasting takes 20
hours a day.
What does salah take from you?
5 minutes multiplied by 5, that is 20
or 25 minutes a day. Doesn't Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala who created you deserve 25 minutes
from your day? You have 24 hours? Give
him 24 minutes.
And still some of us are not willing
to give Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that much.
That's
Allah
So the ibadah that the prophet
did in the month of Ramadan are classified
into 3 groups. Number 1, verbal,
and this includes and recitation of the Quran.
If someone is not able to recite Quran
of Ramadan, they can listen to the recitation,
like the Arabic and the English,
translation. Or if they read the English, this
is their best. And in Islam, you don't
get a reward for doing the actual hibadah,
but for doing your best. Even if your
best is not good enough,
actual Ibadah, but for doing your best. Even
if your best is not good enough, Allah,
subhanahu wa ta'ala, out of his mercy, will
give you the reward. So number 2 of
the, Ibadah is the physical Ibadah,
and this includes salah
and fasting,
umrah, atikaf in the month of Ramadan.
Number of premium, Ibadahtu al Mani, and this
includes salakat, zakat, and
zakat, and so on and so forth.
And he was exceptionally
generous in the month of Ramadan.
And this is something we need to learn
from the prophet SAW.
There are several
donation opportunities in this month. Number 1,
feeding, fasting people in this month.
If you feed a a a fasting person,
the prophet
says in, whoever
feeds a fasting person, then Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala will give them the reward for feed
for for their fast, but Allah will not
detract from these people's fast, from their
reward. So every Saturday, we have Iftar and
the masjid. So please sponsor the Iftars, talk
to the office inshaAllah.
Number 2,
there is
Iftar for orphans to collect funds for orphans
in the Islamic Academy tomorrow. You can also
participate in biotechnology.
Number 3, we have the taste of Ramadan.
We invite them Muslims,
and we introduce Islam to them,
and this is a good opportunity for Dawah.
If you also would like to sponsor the
taste of Ramadan, please you're welcome talk to
the office.
And number 4, so not to take much
of your time, the fundraiser for the masjid
at the end of the month. This is
a golden opportunity to maintain
the masjid of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
So this is also a golden opportunity to
help with maintaining the masadiq. And Allah, subhanahu
wa ta'ala,
says in the Quran that whoever
maintains the masjid of Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala,
this is a a sign of their true
belief in Allah in the last day.
