So the Prophet
says in Hadith
that a Muslim is always in pursuit of
wisdom.
So whenever he finds wisdom, he takes
it. So this is something a Muslim does.
So a Muslim, an intelligent Muslim, a wise
Muslim,
he knows or she knows why they are
here on this globe, on this in this
world.
They are here to worship Allah
glorify
him, stick around for a few years, then
they leave this world and move to the
next world.
Most of the people won't realize this fact.
And every time people come to me for
counseling,
I tell them, brother and sister,
you have 2 options. Number 1
and here's the thing. Before I give them
2 options, I tell them there's if you
are 40 years old
or 35 years old, there's no guarantee that
you are going to live another 40 or
another 35.
Now you have 2 options, either to live
a miserable life
or
to live a good life till the end
of your life and go to Jannah, alhamdulillah,
everyone is happy.
And I remember a few months ago, I
was doing dawah and somebody came wanting to
know about Islam so I sat with him
in the office and
I was giving him the introduction about Alkhanu
Islam, Alkhanu Ilman and all that stuff and
all of a sudden, there was
a terrible knock on the door. I opened
the door. There was this lady in her
forties,
45,
and she was devastated.
She was in tears, and she had her
husband and their daughter.
She came from an African country. Okay?
So
the lady said
my husband wants to divorce me because I'm
dark. I'm black.
I said La Hawlul, He is dark. She
is dark. Their daughter is dark. The whole
family is dark. I'm dark too. Okay?
So I said La Hawa Allahu Was
he blind when you guys got married then
he, you know, was able to see after
that? Or you were white at the time
of marriage then you got a tan so
you lost your color. What?
Go home. They said what time should we
come back? I said,
come back in 2017.
What is this man? Al Muslimul
Al
Haqqim.
A wise person is the one who doesn't
make the same mistake twice.
They learn from their mistakes. And we have
this saying back home,
a wise person is not the one who
doesn't make mistakes,
but the person who doesn't make the same
mistake twice.
Al Muslim Al Hakim.
So a wise person is the one who
thinks about the things he or she is
going to say. And believe me, if you
do if you do this,
75% of the time, you're not going to
say anything because it's either not beneficial
or is going to harm someone
or there's some harm that come from it.
So they keep their mouth shut, And this
is what the prophet says
in the authentic hadith,
let those who believe in Allah in the
last day
say something good or be quiet.
So you have to process everything you're going
to say. You have to think about the
things you plan to say. And, again, as
I said, most of the time, you're not
going to say it because there's no benefit.
It's a waste of time. It's a waste
of resources.
And I gave the story a long time
ago, but I like this story, and it
has to something to do with a scent.
Sayyid
so a man came to the guards and
said, I wanna talk to Muhammedalai. They said,
who are you? He said, tell them I'm
his brother.
They went to Muhammedalai, your brother is by
the door, he wants to come in. So
he said, okay, but brother, Alhamdulillah, come in.
So when he went inside,
Muhammad, I'm looking at him, and this is
not my brother. Who are you? He said,
I'm I'm your brother from Adam and Eve,
Adam Hawad.
He said, okay. What do you want?
He said,
you are great. You are my brother from
Adam and Eve. I want my share in
the money of my brother from Adam and
Eve. He said, okay. That's that's nice.
A cent. He gave him a cent. So
he said, what is this? A cent? What
am I gonna do with a cent? So,
Waawhi, lallahu, he said, wallahi, if I start
giving away my money to my brothers and
sisters from 'almati, if you will not even
get a cent, you are lucky. Alhamdulillah.
Al
