So last night we spoke about how a
husband
should
work and encourage his wife to go to
Jannah with him. They go to Gaza and
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says in the Quran,
many aayahs that the husband and the wife
and the children will be together in Jannah.
And I remember last night when I said
he will take your wife with you to
Jannah, almost all the problems in the masjid
said la hawla
except for 1 guy.
Okay?
So the whole purpose of marriage in Islam
is to give you a successful relationship in
this world and to give you Jannah at
the end.
So how can you make it Jannah? As
we said, make Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala the
center of the relationship.
So for example,
do you pray with your wife at home
or you just pray on your own?
Do you talk about Jannah? Do you talk
about Halal and Haram?
Do you teach your wife this week?
Do you talk about Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
and Assam? When was the last time you
did this?
So this is what I'm talking about. Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala has to be the center
of the relationship.
The man Allah has to be the center
of the relationship.
So Abdullah ibn Nawal the Sahaba the prophet
was sitting with his wife one day, and
all of a sudden he started to cry.
So his wife cried.
He didn't say anything. His wife saw him
crying, so she started to cry.
He said, why are you crying? She said,
I saw you crying, I started to cry
for you to sympathize with you.
So he said, I cried because I remembered
this ayah in Surah Maryam where Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala talks about Sirat and the bridge
over the hellfire, and people will be falling
in the hellfire of that bridge. And I'm
not sure if I'll be with those who
will pass it safely
or I will fall in there.
This is why I cried.
But the point is she cried with him.
Okay?
And this is something that will lead both
of them to Jannah and to the mercy
of Allah Subhanahu Wa'ala. We'll give a couple
of hadith to conclude, inshaAllah.
So one hadith in Muslim Abi Dhahu, the
prophet says, Allah will shower his mercy when
a man who wakes up at night and
prays and he wakes up his wife to
pray. If she refuses,
he will sprinkle her face with water so
she will wake up and pray. And Allah
will shower his mercy when a lady who
wakes up at night and she wakes her
up up her husband to pray. If he
refuses,
she will sprinkle his faith,
his face with water.
And remember my words, I said sprinkle with
water, not with a bucket of water. Okay.
Some people take my words literally.
Also,
the prophet said Yes, sir. If a man
wakes up at night and he wakes up
his wife and they pray together 2 rakats,
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala would like them among
those who mentioned Allah a lot, who are
mentioned in the Quran. So pray together. After
you go after Isha in regular regular days,
you can pray Sunnah then Isha with your
wife, and she will pray Isha
And
the
Quran.
So last last question is very difficult. It
seems very simple.
We spoke about the shortest aya or verse
in the Quran. That's right. If you put
your trust in Google,
then Okay. Your answer will be wrong. Is
wrong.
