The difference between wahid and ahad

is wahid means 1, but ahad it means

1 and indivisible.

Allah cannot be divided into parts.

And this ayah is basically a response to

the Christian belief of the Trinity, that they

say that he is 1 in a Trinity.

He is 1, the Father, the Son, and

the Holy Spirit, 31.

So, Islam or actually this verse,

rebutiates

and and condemns this belief in the trinity

and it says that Allah is 1 and

indivisible. You cannot divide him into the father,

the son, and the holy spirit. It's 1.

So, there is a difference between 1 and

wahid and ahad. Wahid means 1, Ahad means

1 and indivisible cannot be divided into parts.
