So last time, we gave 7 examples
of the mistakes that some people do when
they come to Jum'ah, and today, inshallah, we'll
continue and give another set of mistakes.
So the first mistake, if you are sitting
next to someone
and someone is coming and and gives you
salaam, don't give them salaam. Otherwise,
it is not acceptable in fiqh to give
salaam to people when they come. You have
to focus with the iman.
And if someone sneezes and says, Alhamdulillah,
don't tell them, You're hamakumullah.
If someone asks you a question in the
food bank, don't answer them back.
So inshallah, we'll give a couple of examples
or a couple of hadith from the sunnah
to prove what I said. The first one
is in Bukhari and Muslim.
The prophet
says in an authentic hadith in Bukhari and
Muslim, if someone
says to his brother in the footba,
just these two letters,
listen,
be quiet,
then this person will get no reward for
his footbath.
Sitting in the Nasheed next to Ubayy ibn
Kaq Radillahu Anbu, and the prophet was given
a phukkah.
Then the prophet said that he recited an
ayah from the Quran, then Abu Darda says,

Do you know why this verse was revealed?
So Ubay never answered him back.
So he said, he probably didn't hear what
I said.
Couple of minutes later, he said the same
thing. When was this higher bill? He didn't
answer him back. He said, okay. He probably
doesn't know. Then 2 minutes later, he said,
brother Ubay, when was this IR bill? He
didn't answer him back. So after the food
bank, he gave to him and said,
why didn't you answer me, man?
So Ubay
said, the only thing you got from the
foodba is your talking. No reward for you.
Then Abu Darda went to the prophet
according to this authentic hadith and said told
him what Ubay said. So the prophet
said, Ubay
has said the truth. So if you speak
in the foot, but even if you answer
people salaam or sneezing, then no reward for
you according to, this ahadith.

if you sneeze and you say, alhamdulillah, in

The answer is no.
Because coming to Jummah is not an obligation
for women. It is permissible. If they come,
they get the reward. If they don't come,
it is not a sin for them according
to the Hadith of the prophet and and
the opinion
of the scholars, all of them.
But coming to Jum'ah is an obligation
on the brothers.
So some of the sisters, when they stay
home, they don't come to Jum'ah.
And in many countries, they do this thing.
And some of them told me, they stay
at home, but they want to pray Jum'ah.
So what they do, basically,
they watch the Khutba for Jum'ah on TV,
live.
Then after the Khutba, when the imam starts
to, lead salat to Jum'ah, they stand in
a line behind the TV, and they pray
behind the imam.
What is this, man?
Shjumah is done in the Masjid, not in
the house.
So if you pray at home, and this
is through the sisters, you pray for rakas
and not 2.
And the sisters who did this over the
years in the past, they don't have to
make up the salawat again because ignorance is
an excuse in Islam,
but you have to apply this from now
on.
Number 3.
Some of the brothers, when they missed the
footba, they come in salah, they prayed to
mark
after Jum'ah to make up for the footba.
And this is not correct. There's no proof
whatsoever except
a saying attributed to Omar Khattab
that if you miss the foot by you
pray 2 rakas,
and this saying is not authentic.
Plus, it contradicts the hadith from the prophet
if you miss 1 rakah in Jummah, then
you pray another rakah after. And if you
catch 1 rakah from Jummah, it's counted as
Jummah for you. So the prophet didn't say,
pray 2 rakahs,

So some of the brothers,
when they come for Jumah, they think that
there's 2 rakas sunnah before Jumah.
There's no proof for this, and the prophet,
saha, a sallam, never did it. But if
you come to the masjid before Jumah, you
want to pray the Hayat of Masjid, fine.
If you want to pray Doha, fine. If
you want to recite Quran after the Hajjid,
no problem. But there are no 2
before Jummah. The prophet,
however, prayed after
Jummah. If he prayed in the masjid, he
prayed 4. If he prayed in his house,
he would pray
too. But the scholars say there's no problem
if you pray 2 rakas in the masjid
or in the house. This, you know, is
is permissible, and it is a sunnah you
can do. But there's no 2 rakas sunnah
before unless you wanna pray.
Number 5, some brothers,
they sit in a particular place all the
time in the Masjid. And if they come
late and this place is taken,
now they are mad, and they ask the
brother to move because this is my spot.
Especially, if if they said against the wall
or a pillar because it's easier to sleep
this way in the footer.
Okay? So don't ask people to leave their
place because you came late. If you came
late, sit in the bed. Okay?
The proof is in Bukhara a Muslim, the
prophet says,
in Bukhara a Muslim, don't ask your brother
to leave his spot so you can sit
in his place. This is not acceptable.
Number 6.
Some people harm the other people who come
to Jummah.
They harm their eyes, they harm their ears,
and they even harm their noses. How?
For example,
they harm their ears when they their phones
are on all the time.
So are they sitting for the footbath or
in salah and you hear crazy, crazy ringtones
in the salah?
Or they bring little kids to salah and
they're Khubba and they cry all the time
and they scream all the time. If you
come to the Masjid with your kids, please
sit in a place where you don't hurt
people.
Put your phones on silent
and put your kids on fire, as I
always say.
Harming people's eyes,
this happens in the case of the youth.
I'm not saying all of them, but some
of them, when they come to Chubba with
their hanging pants,
or their pants are too short. So when
they sit in in front of you or
pray in front of you, and I've seen
this many times here and in Al Rasallim,
that when they make ruku or ma'am or
sujood,
you see everything, man. You say, laha alalaqf.
Oh my god.
So people don't feel comfortable looking at this.
So make sure when you pray or you
sit for footba, you cover yourself properly.

there is no reward for you. This salah

to smell good. Otherwise, you'll be hurting people.
And also, if you smoke cigarettes or weed
or whatever, then you come to the salah,
make sure that you change your smell.
Some people, including myself, are allergic to smoking.
If you stand next to me in the
salah and you smell like cigarettes,
I'm gonna collapse in the salah, and so
on and so forth.
So number 7, and we conclude with this.
Not showing respect to the Masjid,
the same respect that he showed to other
places.

park your car, a loyal and healthy, masha'Allah,
