Quick announcement inshallah before we begin. Tomorrow after
salatul ashah, 7 tonight,
we have an important lecture inshallah by brother
Muhammad Amal
on sharia compliant investments in Canada. So if
you like to invest or learn about sharia
compliant investments, so you're welcome tomorrow, inshallah 7
to 9 PM, after salatul ashah, it's gonna
be downstairs.
Also the youth program will be at, Frank
Bacikney, 6:30 to 8:30,
the birth of the prophet SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam.
I know it's a long discussion.
Yani, they say he was born on
12th,
some he was born some other time, and
some say he died the exact same day.
So it's a long discussion.
So the most important thing is not when
the prophet was
born, the most important thing, why was he
sent as a prophet? This is the whole
thing.
So as we recited in the second ayah,
second rakah
of the Surah, Surah Anbiya, Wama'a sallnaka ilahaahmatalalami.
The Prophet
came as a mercy to all of humanity.
Of course we are happy
that the Prophet was born. Of course.
But we're happy. Fatihamakkah, we're happy. Alhamdulillah.
These are great achievements,
and everyone should be happy for these achievements.
The Muhammad
his birth
and his mission was,
and he was a great favor from Allah
Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Allah
Subhanahu wa ta'ala is telling us in the
Quran
that Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala has done us
a great favor
by sending Muhammad
This is a great nirma from Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala.
Michael Hart,
And he has a book,
it's called the 100, a ranking of the
most influential
people in human history.
So in this book, Michael Hart is Christian.
So he is an American author. In his
book,
he listed the 100 most influential people in
human history, like Einstein and Isaac Newton and
Musa alaihi salam and Isa and so on
and so forth.
So although he was not Muslim, he put
Muhammad salam as number 1 in the list.
And he said that his choice of Muhammad
salam to be at the top of the
list
will surprise some readers and will be questioned
by others. But he said very clearly that
Muhammad salallahu alaihi wa sallam is the only
human being who has been successful both on
the secular and religious levels.
No one can reach him. Right?
So both on the secular level he was
successful. He established,
yani,
Dawullah in Madinah, he established the Islamic State
in Madinah, and he was very successful as
a ruler, he was successful as a spiritual
leader, as a prophet,
as a husband, as a father,
and so on and so forth, as a
brother to the believers,
and so on and so forth. He said,
well, look at the other prophets.
Isa
didn't complete his mission. Everyone was against him.
He stayed for 2 year 2 years 3
months, then he left.
Musa alaihis salam died in the wilderness
for 40 years. Bani Israel, when he told
him let's go to
Bayt al Maqdis, they said no, we don't
want to go. So he couldn't make it.
He couldn't make it inside and he died
in the desert,
Musa alayhi salaam. No, alayhi salaam, he made
dua against people, You Allah destroy them.
Sala alayhi sala, You Allah destroy them.
Who would, alayhi sala, destroy them? Everyone.
Muhammad
said, No, I will keep my du'a for
my ummah that Allah will give him Jannah.
Right? So this is his du'a. And before
he died
and all of Arabia became Muslim,
right
at the death of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi
wa sallam. And within 100 a 100 years
from the death of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi
wa sallam, Islam reached
Spain, North Africa, India, China, Pakistan,
Turkey.
It was all over the place. Right? So
Islam became very successful during the life of
the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam after his
death.
When Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam started, he
was one man.
And everything and everyone was against him.
He was one person.
But he changed humanity.
And slowly, 1 by 1 they accepted Islam,
until now 1,700,000,000
people believe in Muhammad
and billions and billions throughout history, they believe
in him.
As I mentioned in the Khutba,
a guy by the name Al Asibnu
Adam, he said that was the culture back
then. He said because Muhammad
had 3 sons, 3 boys, and they all
died in his lifetime, and when he died
salaam
he had no boys. I mean, they died
in his lifetime.
He had 7 kids,
4 girls, 3 boys, all of them died
except for Fatima radiAllahu anha.
And the prophet
when he was giving up his soul, he
told Fatima radiAllahu anha, you will be the
first one to catch up with me in
Jannah Insha'Allah. Uh-huh. She she died 6 months
after him. Right?
So Al Asadnu'a,
this evil man, he said because Muhammad
died and he left no son to carry
his name,
after
this generation no one ever will remember his
name.
So now, about 1500 years later,
as I said in the Khuba, more than
a 150,000,000
men and boys have the name Muhammad.
It's the number one name in the world.
Warafa'analaka
Vikraq. Right? Warafa'analaka
Vikraq. Do you know of anyone
who's who's called Al Asabnu'ak?
No one remembers the name. If I didn't
tell you about him, you wouldn't even know
that he actually existed. Right? So Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala revealed in a tabata'inaqal kawthar fasaliyahrabikawal
hainna shaaniaka wal abitur.
Al abitur, if someone dies and they leave
no children,
they are they are called Abitur. There is
no one to carry their name. So Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala says, no, your name will
be honored, Urafan alaka bikra, but Allah 'asabnuwa,
it will be Abitur. No one will remember
him, he will go to the
garbage of history, no one will remember him.
But your name will be honored and elevated.
When someone takes shahala, alhamdulillah, in the last
10 11 years I've given shahala to 100
of people, And the key to Islam is,
La ilaha illallah Muhammadu Rasoolah. So they same
they say
they believe in Muhammad
as a prophet just like they believe in
Allah.
Every time we do tashahul, we say, Ashaduwala,
Illahi Illallah, shaduwala Muhammadu Rasoolah.
Even in Adhan, subhanAllah, there is not a
single minute that goes by anywhere in the
world,
except that there is someone making Adhan and
saying, Ashadualla, ilaha illaillah, shaduallan Muhammad Rasoolah. So,
for example, if you take Niagara Falls as
an example, by the time they finish in
Buffalo, New York, they finish Havana, Niagara Falls
will be making Havana.
They finish, Saint Catherine's will be making Havana.
By the time they finish Stoney Creek, by
the time they finish Hamilton, by the time
they finish Burlington,
by the time they finish Oakland, by the
time they finish Mississauga,
then Toronto, then Scarborough,
then Ajax, then Kingston, Oshawa, Ottawa.
And we're not talking about London, Ontario, we're
not talking about other nearby cities. So there's
not a single minute that goes by, except
that there's a Mu'adhir somewhere
making Adan, and this is 247.
For the last 1500 years. Ashaduallaha illa Allah,
Ashaduallaha Muhammad Rasulullah. So this is Mimdal Blafir
Adzik. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala honored Muhammad
I don't know of any human figure,
from the beginning of humanity to Yawmul Qiyaba,
who people know every detail of their life.
We know everything about Muhammad Sasser. How he
looked like, how long he lived,
how many gray hairs he had in his
beard and his head, How he took a
shower. How he made udu, how he ate,
how he dressed. His imam. They even know
the name of his his his, mule, and
his horse, and his camel, and his sword,
and his stick. They know everything single thing
about him. They know about his shoes,
they know about his family,
they know about his goat. Every single detail
of his life has been preserved.
Every single detail of his life. Everything.
From how he prayed and how he made
hajj to how he cleaned himself in the
mushroom.
Every single detail is known about him. And
I don't think of any other figure in
history,
whose life has been recorded in such detail.
Isa alaihis salam.
When you look in the Bible for example,
in the Old Testament,
in the book of Genesis of Hooroo, you'll
find like 3, 4 pages that talk about
when the people of Israel, they left Egypt,
how many goats, how many animals they had,
and how many sheep, and and so on
and so forth.
But when you move to the New Testament,
the last
the bigger portion of Isa alaihis salam's life,
there is not a single thing about him.
It starts to talk about him from the
minute he received the message and he came
to talk about people.
We don't know so much about his life.
How he was raised up, and how he
left, and how he lived his life, and
and so on and so forth. Most of
the stories about him,
they come from,
you know,
folklore and
and tradition, and so on and so forth.
But there is no authentic recording of his
life for the most part of his life,
and so on and so forth. But Muhammad
salallahu alayhi wa sallam, great details are recorded
about him in the sunnah,
in the hadith, in the fu'a, in the
narrations of the sahaba, and these are authentic
narrations.
We'll continue next week inshallah.
We ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to give
us the shafa'a of Muhammad salallahu alayhi wa
sallam and to give him, to give us
his good company in janatul firdawsia rabbalalameen.
And ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to give
us the love of Muhammad SAW Alaihi Salam
and Al Bayt in the Sahaba Qalam and
ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to give us
the best in this life and the best
in the life to come.
