There are some certain things that we are

allowed to do, during the day of Ramadan,

and they don't invalid in the fast. And

because I hear the questions all the time,

so it's better to share the answer with

you.

Brushing your teeth is okay. The prophet used

the miswak several times when he was fasting.

So you can use a toothbrush or the

miswak while you are fasting.

It is recommended

not to brush your teeth or use the,

you know, to change the smell of your

mouth and all that because it's been in

the sight of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala than

the smell of musk and this is in

the hadith.

But if you get close to Asr or

after Asr and your mouth the

smell is very bad you start to smell

like a dragon right and people are falling

down when they smell you. In this case

you need to change this smell and nothing

is wrong but make sure that nothing goes

inside your throat, you don't swallow anything.

Also,

ear drops,

insulin shots,

and eye drops and so on and so

forth.

And also,

giving blood samples, donating blood, receiving blood, if

they fix your teeth, if they stop your

all these things, they don't invalidate your fasting,

but make sure that nothing goes through, the

throat.

Yes, when you are fasting, you can shave

your head, you can trim your fingernails,

they have nothing to do with fasting. Also,

if you get angry, it has nothing to

do with fasting. I get these questions all

the time. So as long as nothing goes

through your throat like food or drink and

as long as you don't have intermitilations

during the day your fasting should be valid

inshallah.

The last thing inshallah, this coming Friday we

will have our annual fundraiser

to support the masjid inshallah and the community

so make sure inshallah you bring some money

with you bring your checkbook make sure you

make a good donation inshallah the sisters and

the brothers and even your children if they

have some savings make sure inshallah they make

a contribution

to to keep the Masjid and the community

running. And as I said before, you can

contribute from your Zakat to help the Masjid

through the fundraiser.

And if you receive a, tax receipt from

the Masjid and you get some tax returns,

this is part of the reward in this

dunya because Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala gives you

the reward in dunya and Atha. The Atha

of the reward in dunya will give you

Barakah in your money and your salary. And

also if you get some tax returns, it's

also part of the
