Mustafa Khattab – Closer to Allah 19 Deeds Not Raised Ramadan 2011

So sometimes

you do all different Ibaals. You go to

the masjid 7 times a day.

You circle the Kaaba

9 times

in the home.

You fast

set 37 days in Ramadan.

You do more than what is necessary,

but your actions are not raised to Allah

Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. And the reason is

the Prophet SAW Alaihi Wasallam is telling us

Allah

Subhanahu

Wa

Ta'ala.

So

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will accept them and

forgive your sins except for those who are

boycotting one another.

They're cutting off each other.

They don't have good relations. They're not talking

to one another. Then Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

will say, turn back

the deeds of these 2 until they reconcile,

until they make peace with one another.

So if you are by cutting someone,

usually for no reason, try to make peace

with them. And the prophet says

that the best of the 2 who are

by cutting one another are those who start

making peace.

This is the best of the 2.

By cutting

your brother, I'm talking about your biological brother

and biological sister, or by cutting your aunt

and uncle, and you never talk to them

for something

trivialities.

So if you are by cutting someone for

a good reason, like someone

is is a thief, you are by cutting

them or someone is not praying, there is

a good reason to boycott them. But if

you are by cutting someone

for refusing to pay for your Tim Hortons,

I didn't disrespect come on, man.

So by cutting your uncle, your aunt, your

brother, your sister, this is even worse. And

the worst of my cutting is

The people who care for

you when you were young, you were helpless,

and they took very good care of you.
