Allah guides, there is none to his guide.

by a story from Suhayman ibn Abdul Azad

If someone was strong in something or good

So, when we talk about physical strength, of

course, we need it if you want to

work and provide for your family and put

food on the table, you have to be

physically fit.

If you want to be able to do

pray,

then you have to be physically fit. It's

part of the religion to be shown. If

you want to take care of your family,

if you want to be a maintainer, and

if you want to

you know. We don't have a problem with

this. If you wanna be able to make

us feel fresh

and go through the difficulty in the winter

to be able to pray and confess all

the time and the cold weather, you have

to be physically fit. And this is something

that is committed in Islam. But we also

talk about this spiritual

strength

if you want money,

then we'll give you money, we'll make you

rich.

If you want a wife, we'll marry you

in the fight as women among us, and

so on and so forth. But we want

one thing from you.

Where a sister is grand for a couple

of years, no babies yet. They get frustrated,

devastated, and they live they lose hope in

the life of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. You

have to be physically so spiritual is strong.

You have to put your trust in Allah

Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and believe in him. So

this is what we mean by spiritual strength.

We talk about

patience

in dealing with people, and this takes a

lot of effort for the Lord's son.

If

hard it is for you when you are

an employee

or you go to school.

How hard it is for you to be

able to find a clean place to pray.

How difficult it is in Ramadan, and you

see people around you eating and drinking all

day long.

I know it's hard. It's very difficult.

And then work is fun. It comes in

accordance with the challenges and the difficulties you

go through.

Now, you leave school, you come back from

work, you go home, you open the door,

you go into the living room, and the

first thing you see,

your kids have drawn all over the living

room, the walls.

You know for sure that your landlord is

gonna kick you out and it took you

a long time to be able to find

a place,

and the landlord had a landlord who was

willing to give you your having his house

for rent, although you have several kids.

Okay. You leave the living room, you go

to the kitchen, they get sick and eggs

from the fridge and they throw them on

the floor. You go through your study, your

computer is right there, and how many times

you have seen this? They get sick out

So, you are it's easy for you to

snap and scream

and throw someone out of the window. It's

very hard to break someone's neck or give

you a black eye.

physically strong. The one who knocks people down,

but the one who controls himself in the

How many times you come from work?

And

well,

especially when you first get married, this happens

all the time. The food is burnt

all the time. And how many times you

wait for your your husband and talking to

the sisters, you're waiting for your husband to

come from work and you go to visit

your mom or go buy something necessary for

the house and he's 2 hours late.

Call him. Yeah. I'm going away. It's 2

seen with my own eyes that one time

I was with my brother.

So, when we come here we don't like

to get involved in any way. I'm not

talking about the majority of us, but some

a sizable number of us. We don't like

to get involved.

We live in a very traditional way.

There's life and this is how I think

about it. We have like,

I'm living sunnah.

That Muslims in Canada, they have to live

in a certain way. I'm living sunnah. So,

We need Muslim politicians. We need people in

the media to speak for us. They advertise

in

the parliament where politicians says something terrible about

Muslims. Yeah. Muslims are terrorists. Muslims are this

or that's fanatics.

They know they may criticize us all day

they want

think about it this way. If you just

take out the word Muslim and put the

word Hindu or the word Jew,

And they know that Muslims don't vote in

elections anyway. But if they know that Muslims

are active, and Muslims are proactive, and Muslims

get involved, and Muslims have a voice, and

they speak,

then they will be afraid because Muslims can

cause them an election.

We have 1,500,000

Muslims in this country or more, but most

of us won't even vote in elections. We

don't have people who speak for us and

for our problems.

And, this is why when something happens back

home nobody stands for our lives here because

we don't talk for ourselves.

Our voice is not heard in Canada and

most of Europe and the US

simply because we don't speak for ourselves.

We're happy that someone might say something good

about us in politics or in the media,

but we want you to speak for yourself.

We have 1,500,000

in this country or more. It's not the

2nd largest

thing in Canada, but still we have list

politicians, we still have list,

people in the media, then the Jews, and

the Hindus, and the sea put together.

And, we are more than all of them

put together. But why? Because we're not progressive

in our thinking. We're not thinking this way.

We don't want to get involved. We're not

staying to the side.

And when I say this to people,

I always get the same answer.

Because believe me that this style, what we

can make in this country is not by

who wasn't talking, but being successful.

the success regardless of their faith. If you
