Mustafa Khattab – Allahs Generousity

So today's show, I'll continue our discussion about,

generosity.

And one example of generosity is not to

harm people.

Months,

almost 2 years, I've been talking about this.

And most of the time, I remind people

to force a lot to

put their phones on silent or vibrate or

whatever. And there's not a single salaam without

phones ringing or alarms going on. But

So before we give some, examples,

from the generosity of the Sahaba, we'll also

talk about the prophet

because he was you know, he he is

the one who told Sahaba how to be

generous.

And before we talk about the generosity of

the, prophet, we need to talk about the

generosity of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala because one

of the attributes,

there are 99

attributes of Sifa'atullah.

One of them is the most generous.

The generosity of Allah,

we always say in translation that he is

the most generous.

And that that the, the reason is when

you compare the generosity of Allah

to human beings,

number 1, Allah is happy when you raise

your hands and ask him. But human beings,

is happy when you raise your hands and

ask them.

But human beings, although some of them, when

you ask them and and they give you,

and they put a smile on their face

like a screen saver,

but from the inside,

they're inspired. You're not happy. And they make

God that if they give you money, that

maybe you would have an accident and you

would lose the money.

You would lose the money in any way

because they are not happy with you.

Human beings, they don't like the word

give. They like the word take.

So,

we have this, story back home.

This

this man is not happy with his wife

because she uses the word give all the

time. Give me money. Give me this. Give

me this. Give me that. So he says,

you always the only word you use in

the English vocabulary is give. You don't you

you never use the word take.

So she said

that our

refrigerator is broken. Take it and fix it.

God wants to use the word take it.

You gotta take the water. Take it and

fix it.

So Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, as he tells

us in the Quran, if you don't ask

him, he will be angry with you. The

human beings, if you don't ask them, they

love you so much. They love you to

death. If you ask something of them, they're

angry with you. Even if they don't show

you that this is the human nature.

He gives those whom he loves and those

whom he hates.

And Allah

hates the as he says in the Quran.

As we said before, the word and Allah

does not like. The

word could mean a disbeliever

in his message or a disbeliever in his

very existence.

Because there are at least a a 1000000000

people.

1 out of 6 people in this world,

they deny the existence of Allah It

doesn't exist.

1,000,000,000

people. Okay? They deny that the law

even

exists. But he still provides for them, day

and night.

Have guided.

And this also applies to Muslims. Allah

gives them everything,

and they don't say thank you. Okay? Either

by their tongue or by their actions, making

salah to Allah which is a way of

showing gratitude.

If you look at the favors of Allah,

subhanahu wa ta'ala, how much he has given

all of us.

I'm not talking about you personally, but I'm

talking about this whole world.

The fish,

the gold, the silver, the oil, the precious

minerals everywhere. And I'm saying if we distribute

all the, now, all the favors in this

world, their sources,

fairly

and equally, every single person among us would

be a billionaire.

So take oil for example,

then gold, silver, pearls, diamonds, all that stuff.

But human beings are greedy. They like to

take everything for themselves

and they deny everything other people. Even if

they have to kill their own brothers and

sisters

to take money. Some people do this. They

kill their own brothers and sisters just to

take money.

Some people throw out history, even Islamic history,

they killed their own brothers

so they become rulers and kings in their

kingdoms. And this happened in, Spain and in

other places.

The reward will multiply 10 times up to

700, and Allah

gives more.

But if you do an evil deed,

then once a good evil deed, it will

be recorded as 1, but the good deed

is recorded as 10 up to 700 or

more. The evil deed will be recorded as

1. If you intend to do something bad

and you don't do it, Allah will give

you one. So Allah

is very generous even when it comes to

So people commit sins

all over in this dunya and Allah

out of his generosity,

he covers for them

and he provides for them. And in the

next life, he will even forgive those who

believed in his existence.

So in this authentic one of the examples

of the generosity of Allah subhanahu wa'ala, I

will conclude with this. On the day of

judgment is his forgiveness.

Okay? For those who believe in it, even

if if you commit sense and try

to live a decent lives, but we make

sense here and there, but Allah, subhanahu wa

ta'ala, will forgive you and show our His

mercy on us on the day of judgement.

In this hadith, insunal albayha'adeen,

a man came to the prophet, sallallahu alaihi

wa sallam, and says, oh, prophet of Allah,

who judges people on the day of judgement?

So the prophet

says, Allah. Allah is the judge. So the

man smiled, and he said, we would be

saved. We are saved.

So the prophet

says, why do you smile and why do

you say we're safe? He said because Allah

subhanahu wa'ala is the judge, and he is

the most generous. And when the generous judges,

he forgives.

This is Allah

Also in this hadith

and the authenticity of this hadith is questioned.

Some people say it's authentic. Some people say

it is not. The prophet

says, Allah

will shower his forgiveness and his mercy on

the day of judgment so much so even

at least that shaitan will hope on the

day of judgment because of all the forgiveness

that Allah

will forgive him among other people.
