Mustafa Khattab – Allahs Generosity II

The akhlifru. And we said that Allah

is not happy with you when you don't

ask Him, but if you ask Him, He

is pleased with you.

But humans, it's quite the opposite. If you

ask them,

okay, they smile to you, they put this

screensaver on their face, they're happy, but inside

there's fire, and they always make God that

Allah would take you and all that stuff.

So they're quite the opposite.

Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. Allah

subhanahu wa ta'ala does not like the kuffar,

and he doesn't like the ungraceful people, and

he doesn't like the unjust.

He said it in the Quran in many

places.

And human beings, if they like you,

they are generous with you. If they don't

like you, they don't give you nothing. Okay?

So this is another difference.

And

by his justice, no one of us will

make it to Jannah.

But if he judges us with his grace,

there is a big hope that none of

us will go to the hellfire.

This is what the scholars say.

So

the prophet says in this authentic hadith and

Bukayi of Muslim, none of you will go

to Jannah by his good deeds.

So the Sahaba said, what about you, oh,

Prophet of Allah? How will you go to

Jannah? He said, I don't feel safe, or

I don't think I will go to Jannah

except by the grace of Allah Subhanahu wa

Ta'ala, not by my actions.

And we said, when you pray and fast,

this doesn't necessarily take you to Jannah. This

is a way of paying the debt back

to Allah Subhanahu. He created you. He gave

you eyes and ears and nose and heart

and liver and kidney and all that stuff.

So when you pray, you pay him back.

Then at the end, he will give you

the Jannah as a bonus.

You didn't pay for it. For example,

So if you buy a car by installments

from someone, you pay them,

a a $1,000 every month. So you pay

off in 2 years.

Then after you finish all the payments,

then he gave you a house,

a $300,000

house. So don't say that I paid for

the house. No. You paid only for the

car.

When you pray, fast, give,

you only pay back the debt, the price

for your life, and all the organs and

the nam you have in your life. But

Jenna is an extra bonus.

160 of them. The joints of the bones

in the body, 360.

So every day when you wake up, you

have to give salatah on behalf of these

36,

360 joints in your body. And by joints,

when I say joints on you, 360

joints on you, I'm not talking about wheat,

k, or drugs. I'm talking about the joints

of the body. Some people get me wrong

sometimes.

Yeah. They do. So yeah. So the prophet

said

to pay back

Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, for this debt,

the

of the body,

you make the kabeer and the and the

remembrance of Allah.

Okay? Then he said, if you wanna do

all this at once, pray to rakas dua,

then you pay for the 360

joints you have in your body, and you

get 360

Also, in this,

we mentioned a long time ago, the prophet

used to pray until his feet were swollen

and Aisha said,

oh, prophetullah, you don't have to do this

because

everything is forgiven. You don't have to do

this.

He used to say, should I not be

a grateful servant to Allah?

When I pray, I show gratitude to Allah

So when Allah

gives you gender at the end,

you didn't pay for it, but he's giving

it to you out of his grace.

Another

way of looking at the generosity of Allah

Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is He covers for you

every time you do a mistake. Nobody knows

about it. And He gives you time to

make them. And remember, if every time you

do something wrong, you get a slap on

the face or you get a blast of

fire,

so that is an immediate punishment.

Then, okay, Allah

Again, out of his mercy, he gives you

time.

The last thing I wanna say,

So the scholars say, every

time you do a mistake or a sin,

and this sin is associated with a bad

smell. Say, for example, if you lie, you

start to smell like a scampi,

or if you steal, you start to smell

like,

rotten sauce. Okay? Which is the worst smell

in the world.

So,

the scholars say, if people smell

in a different way every time they do

a different mistake,

people will not walk in each other's Janazah.

If someone dies and we know by his

smell or her smell that she's a liar,

she's a thief,

we will leave the person in his house.

Nobody will come to his salat or Janazah.

We'll never take them to the graveyard. And

this is out of the mercy

of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. Plus,

imagine

if for example,

you live with your wife and today she

realizes that you lied

or your boss at work or your friends.

Your life will be miserable. So out of

the mercy of Allah

and his captain, his generosity is that he

covers for you, and he gives you more

time to make dawg. So take advantage of

this great namma.
