A couple of announcements before we begin.
In the summertime, inshallah, after Ramadan, in August
September, the Maingate Islamic Academy, which is the
Anatolia Islamic School,
they have a summer camp for the students.
So inshaAllah, if you'd like to register your
students, you can check with the school downstairs
inshaAllah during the weekdays. It's a fantastic
program, so make sure inshaAllah,
you, register your children.
The other announcement,
2 days before Ramadan we had the school
graduation,
and,
brother Salahalli, Jazalullah Syron, he made a generous
contribution
on behalf of his mother. She was
in,
Jordan at the time,
and she was in a critical situation.
So we have the graduation,
and we named the classroom after her, that's
2 days before Ramadan. The next morning,
she passed away. So that was the last,
good deed that was done on her behalf.
So we ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to
accept that as Husnu Khawatin from her, and
to accept that as Sadaqa Jariyah, and give
her the shifa of Muhammad
and janatul firdaus, Ameen Ameen. So shalaqta your
sala'ik and offer aza to, to brother Salahuddin
Ali. He came from Jordan, recently. Jazza wa
Laffay.
Do you have any lawyers in the room?
Lawyers?
No? Okay, Alhamdulillah.
So,
so you are either in, if you are
in the Muslim community there's like
an unwritten Sunnah, you are either a doctor
or a realtor.
So half of the realtors, not half, I
would say 95% of the realtors in Mississauga,
they are Muslim. Actually in Canada, in general.
So if you pass by homes, you'll always
see the signs in front of the homes.
It's always Muhammad something, Ibrahim something, Ali something,
and one time I met a real tour,
Chinese,
and I said Niha, and the guy said
Alhamdulillah.
So it turned out the guy was Muslim
too, Laa Hawla.
But anyway, so,
one thing we know for sure about lawyers,
they can't lie. It is the last thing
they can do, and a lot of politicians
are lawyers. Right? So there is this story
of a lawyer who came from overseas,
and he came with his family, his wife,
and 7 kids.
So
for 2 weeks, 3 weeks, they're trying to
find a house in Mississauga.
They call someone up, what's your job? A
lawyer come, when they go they see the
kids,
they prob.
They say, we allow only up to 3
kids. It happened with me before, right?
So if you have more than 3, more
than 2 or 3, they say, no we
can't give you the house, your kids will
tear up the house, and you know, we
can't give you the house.
And I remember asking them last year, what
about the pet policy? How many pets do
you allow in the house? They say, unlimited.
But we allow up to 3 kids, so
I looked at the youngest one and said,
Consider this young one a dog. Will that
work for you? They said no. Okay.
So he visited several homes, they said no,
you have many kids, we cannot allow this.
At some point,
someone had to leave, they got a job
overseas, they have to leave, their house. So
they wanted to rent the house before they
leave.
So the lawyer, he said to his family,
I'm gonna take one kid with me. The
rest, the 6 kids and their mom, please,
you know, go for a walk in the
cemetery. There was a cemetery close by the
hotel where they were staying just go for
a walk there, you know, they have a
garden and flowers and stuff go there and,
you know, there's a, you know, soccer field
next to you play there.
So he went to the guy, so everything
was good, your job is a lawyer, you
can afford to pay the rent, Alhamdulillah, no
problem. Now the landlord said, How many kids
do you have? How big is your family?
So the lawyer said,
Well,
you know, I have 7 kids, and and
their mom, I got only one with me,
you know, the mom and the kids, they
are in the cemetery.
So, the landlord started to cry, and he
said, You will get the house.
So, and he left after that, so he
didn't know how many people were living in
the house. The point is, today InshaAllah, we'll
talk about Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, Hal Alim.
You cannot play tricks with Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala. Yes, you can do tricks with us,
and trick us, but with Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala, it doesn't work. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
One of his qualities in the Quran,
You Alamosirwa
wa'afa. He knows the secret, and what is
even more hidden than the secret. And the
ulama is saying, what is even more hidden
than the secret, is the secret before it
becomes a secret. Before you have a secret,
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala knows that you are
going to have this secret.
You cannot trick Allah
He knows everything. You Alamu Sirla Wa Afa.
You Alamuulhayibu
shaha. He knows what is open and what
is hidden. What is done publicly and what
is done secretly. So Allah
knows everything.
And yawmul qiyamah, everything will become public, there
are so many things that happen around us,
and SubhanAllah, some innocent people, they go to
jail,
and they are blamed for things they didn't
know, and and we need to, very quickly
inshaAllah, we need to make the distinction
between the fact and the truth. Now,
to say for example,
Lee Harvey Oswald
killed John F Kennedy in 1963.
This is the fact.
Is this the truth?
Most likely not.
Some people believe that God is more than
1. The Trinity, for example, this is the
fact. Is this the truth?
Allah is only 1, even Isa alaihis salam
said Allah is 1, and so on and
so forth. September 11th,
there are facts. What is the truth? We
don't know because
we only know
what they allow us to know. So we
will live, we will die, we don't know
the whole truth.
So, today inshallah I'm going to talk about
the quality of Allah Subhana Wa Ta'la, Al
Alim.
Al Alim,
He knows even the intentions.
You Ala Musirahu wa rajwa.
He knows their secret talks, and he knows
their,
their even their thoughts, their thoughts and evil
talks.
Secret talks. You cannot judge people's intentions,
because intentions are in the heart, and this
is why the Aleman say, even if when
you stand for Salahi don't say nawayituosalli15
raka No no, you don't do that. Because
Niyyah is in your heart, and if this
is the fact, no one knows your intention
except Allah Subh'anaHu Wa Ta'ala, why should we
judge people?
There's an example in Surah Tawba,
The Mushrikoon, the Munafiqoon at the time of
the Prophet
If they see someone like Uthmar ibn
Nafar giving liberally,
tens of 1,000 or 100 of 1,000 they
say, Ah, showing off!
And if they see someone like Bilal
giving $5
Ah, he's very cheap!
So either way, they have something to say,
and they are very, they are very judgmental.
They judge people based on, you know, you
don't know the intention, how come you judge
people? We should not be judgmental.
You should not say who is going to
Jannah, and who is going to Jahannam.
We don't have this light. Allah
is the Judge, and He is the one
who is judging the intentions.
We have limited knowledge. We don't know everything.
We'll talk about our knowledge tomorrow InshaAllah, but
today,
we should not judge our other people because
this will lead to problems. We don't know
all the facts, we don't know what is
hidden in the heart. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
knows everything.
To illustrate, I'm gonna give you a quick
example.
I need a short guy, someone shorter than
me. Can I get this brother here? Yeah.
Tal.
And I also need,
someone has 2 100, $300, can I get
that money? I'll give it back. I promise.
So help me God.
Zaraqulaha. Alright.
Can we bring the money from, like,
Yeah. Can we get 2 fifties?
1? Okay. 120?
Okay.
I love you. I love you. So,
what happened
I'll give you back.
So,
do you have insurance?
No? Okay. No problem.
So we're walking in the street. What's your
name again? Yasir. Yasir. Mashallah. Mustafa. So we're
walking in the street,
and if I push you, you fall on
the floor. Okay? Push you like this, fall
down. No, no, fall down.
Come back, come back. You know, I push
you, fall down, like,
like, fall down,
like this. Masha Allah. Now come back.
Now, I give you a sandwich, something, you,
do you like shawarma?
Okay, this is shawarma. Take this and eat
it. Thank you, you go there. So, when
I pushed him the first time, for everyone
here this is a terrible thing, how can
you push a little kid? This is so
bad, And when I gave him a sandwich,
this is something nice, Basha'Allah.
It turned out there was a car coming
his way, in the first example that was
about to hit him, I pushed him to
save his life. It turned out to be
something good.
And in the other instance, when I gave
him the shawarma,
I know this guy is allergic to spices,
and chili, and peppers, and dust off, and
I filled it. I stuffed it with chili,
and he ate the sandwich, and he started
to swell,
and lack, so he had to go to
the hospital. Turned out to be something terrible.
We should not judge the intentions because Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala knows what is in the
hearts, and this is the point for today.
I'm gonna conclude insha Allah
with the story of the money, that I
got from the brother here.
There was a Masjid, now we'll talk about
the intentions. If you do something with a
good intention you will get the reward.
But, if you don't have the intention to
do something good, even if you do it,
you are not getting the reward. You have
to have the good intention
for your good deed to be accepted. I
will illustrate.
This is a true story.
Jum'at time, and they had a fundraise for
the Masjid.
So the Imam was collecting funds for the
masjid, sadaqa jariyah, everything. So everyone was donating
Alhamdulillah,
someone gave 20, someone gave 15,000,
$10,050,
everyone gave whatever they could afford.
We had a brother who was named, ironically,
as Kareem,
and this brother
was the cheapest person in the world. He
didn't want to donate anything. Kareem Ahabi means
generous, but he wouldn't pay anything to the
masjid. So the Imam was begging people for
the money, you know, we have this loan
on the masjid, we have to pay it,
everyone was paying, except for Karim. The boxes
were going around, Karim wouldn't give anything,
and Karim just pretended that he was not
listening.
He took his cell phone out of his
pocket,
and he started to play with his phone.
There was a Huja, a Huja Ansaman, an
elderly brother, a senior citizen behind him. He
handed him $500
so, Brother Karim, he took the money and
he put it in the box.
And mashAllah, the money was a lot, like
100 of dollars and stuff. It could be
like $2,000
easily, $3,000
So, Karim turned to the elderly brother behind
him and said, MashAllah, this is very generous
of you. May
this is a lot of money for the
masjid.
Thank you. And the elderly brother said, No,
thank you. Because when you took the cell
phone out,
the money fell out of your pocket, and
I give you the money back, you put
it in the box.
So brother Karim,
if you know where, Trillium is, the hospital,
you can visit him. He's in the intensive
care unit.
Did he get the reward for his sabbathah,
the $2,000?
Nothing, because he didn't have the intention to
donate.
For the elderly brother behind him, this is
a sadaqa, but for Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
it is not, because Karim didn't have the
intention. So we shouldn't judge anyone's intention. JazakAllah
Khair. So your money back?
MarakAllah Khayla Thank you. So a question for
last night, in the Quran it says a
day with Allah is like a 1000 years,
in another place it says a day with
Allah is a 50 1000 years. A regular
day for Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, and a
day does not mean a 24 hour day,
it it it means a period of time.
I created the heavens and earth in 6
days, it does not mean 6 days our
time, it's His time.
So the regular day for Allah is a
1000 days of our calculations, but yalmuqiyamah
is 50,000 days, which is a totally different
day, and the calculations are different. And this
is why 1 is 1,000, 1 is 50000,
because it talks about totally, 2 totally different
days, and the winner is brother Javed Iqbal.
Javed Iqbal.
I'll take out for prayer. Okay, inshaAllah. ShazakAllah.
Now the question very quick.
In the Quran,
in one place it says the Kafir, on
Youmul Qiyamah, they get their book with
their left hand, but in another place it
says that they will give their book behind
their backs.
You know, is it to the left or
behind their backs?
So which one is which, you know? If
you know the answer, immediately before tomorrow Asat,
Imam Mustafa at the Notorious Center. That's the
age, Jazak Allahuha. No way.
