AI: Summary ©
Continuing with the speech of Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala where we spoke about the frail
nature of the arguments that people begin to
present about the weakness of their belief and
their conviction what they rely upon.
This theme continues throughout the Qur'an and
in today's parable as well showing the frailness
of people what they believe in.
As we mentioned that Islam is something simple
and easy to understand.
There's nothing difficult to understand what the teachings
of Islam are and the main core message
of the Qur'an is nothing but tawheed,
the oneness of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Rather most if not all of the Qur
'an is speaking about Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala whether it be the ahkam is only
speaking about that which Allah legislated upon us.
Indeed rules and regulations belong to Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala.
So even those things that may not be
directly that we think are speaking about Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala are actually speaking about
him because you're going to enact that which
he tells us to do inside his speech
inside the book of Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala.
The whole Qur'an as we mentioned is
nothing but tawheed.
Right from the beginning of surah al-fatihah
is speaking about Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
all the way to the end as we
mentioned to surah al-nas.
That's why Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah begins to
make this relationship between surah al-fatihah and
surah al-nas.
That surah al-nas is just a mirror
image of surah al-fatihah and surah al
-fatihah if you look at these seven ayat,
these seven off repeated verses of recite at
least 17 times a day.
It is an introduction to manillah.
Who is Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala?
Whereby we begin by making the statement alhamdulillah
rabbil alameen.
That all praises and thanks and glorification belongs
to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala lord of
the worlds.
This is the beginning of Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala introducing himself.
That's why you follow through the Qur'an
in great detail those ayat that speak about
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
That we should home in and focus upon
those verses to see how Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala describes himself.
Whereby ayatul kursi of surah al-baqarah verse
255.
The greatest ayah inside the Qur'an.
The greatest ayah inside the Qur'an is
ayatul kursi.
10 sifat speaking about Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala.
You traverse further that you find inside surah
an-nur ayat an-nur.
Allah an-nur al-samawati wa al-ard
inside the 24th chapter Qur'an.
Another great ayah speaking about Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala.
All the way to surah al-hashad the
end.
Speaking about the names of Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala and in the khulasa in surah
al-ikhlas.
Al-ikhlas is thuluthul Qur'an that speaks
about Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
That's when Allah begins the Qur'an.
He highlights to mankind.
First commandment, first teachings that's addressed to the
whole of the world.
All of mankind worship
only Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Then Allah highlights that which Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala does for the creation.
Flatten this earth for us to use this
earth.
Place the heavens as a canopy of protection
upon us and from the rain that comes
down from the heavens that we find, we
take out all extracts of benefit of fruits
and vegetation are given to us.
Then Allah mentioned
So why do you ascribe partners to
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala when you know
that this is Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala?
That's why the end of Surah An-Naml
speaking about Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Surah Al-Waqi'ah, the end speaking about
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
All giving this reminder to the creation, the
human beings that the greatest thing that we
need to focus upon is Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala.
Have knowledge, understanding and none has
the right to be worshipped except for Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala.
That's why the journey of Tawheed, how many
ulema, that's why some people find it trivial
that while we continuously speaking about the oneness
of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Or some people say the opposite, maybe some
hidden agenda about speaking about belief in Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Allah says in the Qur'an وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ
Who is the best of
people, best of mankind, who calls to Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala وَعَمِّلَ الصَّالِحًا and carries
out righteous actions.
That belief in Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
is then coupled with action throughout the Qur
'an.
Those who believe and carry out righteous actions.
You can't separate the two that's beginning to
take place inside our society.
That as long as I believe in Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala, Allah knows what my
And you don't
do anything, your Iman is concealed within yourself
and we find these flamboyant statements inside our
society, don't judge me, Allah knows what's inside
my heart.
Does
not Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala know what
he has created?
He's the most subtle, the most aware and
I laid out prohibitions, legislations, commandments, teachings, what
to do and then I say for myself,
I know what's best for me to do.
I'm an intellectual, smart individual.
I know when it's the best time for
me to submit to Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala.
I know when it's right for me to
obey Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
I know when it's right for myself to
make Ibadah for Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Trying to take yourself as a
deity besides Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
The believer is the one that submits to
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, submits to his
teachings even though we all will fall short.
All
of us will fall short.
That's why Ibadah and our worship doesn't weigh
anything under their judgment but Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala wants to see the effort of
the believer, wants to see the effort, the
struggle that we make inside this dunya in
trying our best to become observant and committed
to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Thus we find a plethora of ulema speaking
about At-Tawheed, endless works that ulema presented
speaking about our belief in Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala that we need to hone in
inside our lives, that the greater journey of
every form of success for this Muslim ummah
will be what is our belief, what is
our belief structure and our commitment towards Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala and that's this today's
Muthalith parable is all about a struggle that
is Muthalith in Surah Al-Ankabut, the 29th
chapter of the Quran, a Makkan surah you
find 69 verses, it's a surah of struggle.
The surah itself it begins by highlighting Alif
Lam Mim Is
this what this Muslim ummah thinks today?
That we're going to, you're going to say
I believe in Allah and you're never going
to be tested, you're never going to be
trialed, there's never going to be obstacles, there's
never going to be any hardships.
Is that what many of us Muslims that
we think?
Allah mentioned another verse inside the Quran Do
you think you're going to stroll into paradise?
Do you think you're going to walk into
paradise?
Has not the Muthalith parable come to the
people that came before you?
Afflictions and adversities and difficulties came upon them.
The earth began to shake underneath them, just
like in Philistine at the moment, they're shaken
but their iman is resolute, they're committed to
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Just like in Surah Ahzab where it describes
that enemies come from Ahzab, what is the
meaning of Ahzab?
All of the tribes, all the tribes of
the Quraysh and Ghatafan, all of them they
came to overcome the Prophet to wipe him
out on that day.
But what did the believers say?
This is what Allah, this messenger promised us,
this is what he promised that there's going
to come moments inside our life we're going
to be tested, we're going to be trialed
inside our lives and a person needs to
make himself resilient to prepare themselves.
That's what Ibn Kathir mentions after quoting this
verse, in the introduction of this verse, he
said I believe the most tested of individuals
are the Anbiya, then those who follow suit
of the Prophets, then who follow suit of
the Prophets and a person be tested according
to his according to the strength of your
iman.
If your iman is strong then your test
will be strong, if your iman is weak
then your test will be weak test that
manifests that we falter inside our lives.
But the more strength inside your iman, the
more Allah wants to test that individual, test
that community.
There's a ulama blogger speaking of what is
me'ani al-fitnah, what is the meaning
of fitnah?
Amongst me'ani al-fitnah is to purify
gold.
The more you burn gold, the more you
liquidize, you heat gold, the more pure it
becomes in its form.
The more you test the believer, the more
stronger the believer becomes and for us just
looking at that furnace, looking at that heat
of Philistine, it should awaken us.
It should awaken us to think that this
trial and tribulation that we should be thanking
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that this trial
and tribulation isn't upon us, isn't upon us
at the moment, it's upon these people and
we should learn from it.
These are all amthal.
These are amthal of the Quran of resolution
but this living amthal, that's why Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala brings certain times, certain moments
throughout this Muslim ummah will show certain things
to show the rest of this Muslim ummah
to do what?
To awaken us, to come out of our
passive sleep, our ignorance, our involvement inside this
dunya, say there's a greater goal, there's a
greater objective and thus we find that worship
of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala when it's
good.
That's what many of us Muslims are unfortunately.
We're on the edge in our life.
That's what Allah describes inside Surah Al-Hajj.
Allah describes these individuals, There's people who worship
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala on the edge,
right on the edge.
Then Allah describes what it means.
If some goodness comes to the person, person
is content.
Person is relaxed about it.
But if some fitna comes upon the person,
turns away on their heels.
When some trial or test comes, then a
person turns away from Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala rather than turning to Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala.
That's what it means that many of us
Muslims, when everything is flowing in our life,
everything is good inside our life, when I
have money, when I have wealth, when I
have power, when I have children, when I
have good health, when I have everything, I
have position, I have a status, I have
everything, I'm happy, I'm content.
But the minute that Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala wants you to see that am I
really committed to him subhanahu wa ta'ala,
then what's my statement then?
Why am I being tested?
Why am I going through this difficulty?
Why is my wealth being lost?
Why are my children suffering?
Why is my health suffering?
Why is my life suffering?
Why am I going through this hardship?
That's cliche statements of many Muslims today.
That why am I going through this?
What have I done in my life?
What have I done wrong inside my life?
That's another misunderstanding.
What have I done wrong in my life?
I don't harm anybody.
I don't trouble anybody.
So why am I going through this inside
my life?
I'm a peaceful person.
Allah wants to develop peace upon the earth
via struggling to show that commitment.
To show that you are truly committed to
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and your obedience
to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
The only people who understand all these amtal
and these parables of Imam Tabari and Qurtubi
that I mentioned.
People of knowledge and understanding, they see these
parables.
They see these amtal and they begin to
relate to them and understand this is what
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is trying to
relate to us and tell us to carry
out inside our lives.
That's the whole beginning with Surah Al-Ankabut
that we find.
Then Allah addresses all these people been destroyed.
That what is your belief?
The frameless of your belief and what you
believe in?
The parable of those individuals who take awliya
protectors besides Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
But before we proceed it's appropriate to mention
they are awliya of Allah.
They are rightful friends of Allah that Allah
protects.
Allah mentions that Surah Yunus.
Friends of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
No fear, no grief upon them.
That's every time we mention.
Everybody who's pious becomes a friend of Allah.
There's no special weird, there's no special dhikr,
there's no special dress, there's no special actions.
You do as we began whatever Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala tells you to do inside
the Quran and avoid what it tells you
to avoid.
You become a muttaqi.
You become a pious person.
You become a friend of Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala.
You come close to Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala.
For them is glad tidings inside this world
and inside the akhirah.
That's why Allah mentions that Surah Al-Baqara.
Allah is a friend.
The protector of the believers.
He takes them out from the realms of
darknesses.
The darknesses of kufr and shirk.
The darknesses of hardships and difficulties.
He brings them out to what?
To the noor.
That's why person of Ibn Taymiyyah speaks about
it.
To make this excessive dua.
The dua of Yunus alayhi s-salam is
the most greatest dua inside the Quran.
Be excessive in that dua.
He called out in the realms of darknesses.
Yunus alayhi s-salam implored, called upon Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Glorifying Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
I'm the one who's done wrong inside my
life.
I made that ghafla.
I made that wrong decision and Allah responded.
We responded to him.
We took him out of his hardship, his
difficulties, worries, his sorrow.
Then look what Allah gives us this blessing
to the rest of us.
And likewise we're going to rescue believers as
well.
Allah said inside the Quran it's upon us
to give victory to the believers.
Victory isn't always what you see on face
value.
It's not always what you see on face
value.
That's how we begin to count victory.
We are your awliya, we are your protectors,
the angels who come there to greet these
people, to greet these children.
The children who've died, the majority of you,
they're not even going to be tested.
Even as one would exist amongst the works
of Aqa'id.
But Allah has pushed you to view that
the young, these young children, innocent children, is
a direct ticket into paradise for them.
That's what it is.
Straight into paradise.
And then they were going to be dragging
what?
If they're classified as martyrs, they're going to
be given the right to intercede.
Who will they intercede for?
They're going to intercede for their parents, their
loved ones, their family members.
So we can't understand not the hikmah, the
hikmullah, the wisdom of Allah.
That Allah is opening up the doors of
paradise for these people.
He's opening up the doors for them to
find their way, a quick and a swift
way to enter into paradise, to return back
to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Likewise Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala mentioned about
the wrong concept of taking awliya, friends and
allies, or having over-reliance upon them.
Allah mentions at the beginning of surah al
-a'raf Follow that which has been sent
down upon you.
Don't follow your friends and allies.
Meaning that don't over praise people.
Don't take human beings as people going to
come and intercede and do things for you
inside your life.
Follow that which has been revealed for you
to do, to carry out inside your life.
Lesson is that you pay heed.
Pay heed to the verses of Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala.
That's why he mentioned time and time again.
There's no harm except Allah allows it by
his leave.
There's no removing unveiling of difficulties except for
by the permission and the leave of Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala.
That's what life is.
What can a person do to a person?
What can another person do?
What's the most they can do?
As we mentioned, is that the end of
the life of the person?
That's not the end of the life.
It's the beginning of the life.
It's the beginning of the real life of
the human being.
Of returning back to Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala.
In the same surah mentioned, indeed the wali
of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is those
individuals Allah has given the book to these
people.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is one who
protects these people.
And takes care of the righteous people.
That is what Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
does to these people.
And then Allah mentions, Those you call besides
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala cannot help you.
Rather they cannot even help their own selves.
Then Allah mentioned, The parable of those individuals
who take allies and helpers besides Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala is like the spider who
takes the web as his home.
Just we began with the Quran describes the
most frailest of arguments.
The most frailest of parables.
That those people commit shirk with Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala.
This is what their belief is.
Because Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala describes a
human being, When Allah speaks about a human
being, Gave you nobility, gave you rank.
In the best mold, the best structure.
But when Allah wants to show the derogatory
nature of the human being, Describes as we
mentioned previously.
All these derogatory parables to awaken the human
being.
The human being doesn't like to be given
a symbolic gesture that I'm like an animal.
The human being is superior to that.
But this is to awaken us for us
to begin to reflect.
How Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is giving
these lessons for us to reflect upon inside
our lives.
The most flimsiest
and the most weakest of homes.
Is the home of the spider, the spider's
web.
The most weakest.
The weakest of homes is a spider's web.
That's why a whole lot of ulema, they
begin to discuss.
He says they think that it brings them
closer to Allah.
They think that committing shirk,
This is what
the Quraish say.
We don't worship these idols.
They only bring us, they're intermediaries that bring
us close to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Just like in today's world, the people say
that.
I don't worship these saints.
I don't worship these graves.
They're just intermediaries.
They're just a pathway to help me get
closer to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
If it's forbidden to face the grave of
the Prophet ﷺ, أَفْدُلُ الْخَلْقِ وَأَفْدُلُ الْبَشَرِ To
face his grave and to raise your hands
and to make dua towards him.
Less people may think that you're making dua
to the Prophet ﷺ.
When you're making dua for him.
It's forbidden for you to face his grave
and do that because someone may think you're
making dua to him.
You go to any grave that has a
fuqaf mentioned.
Even your own parents, deceased people.
You need to be vigilant around you to
see that people may think you're making dua
to the dead people.
People may think it's an exaggeration.
But you can see the truth because people
actually believe that.
People actually believe that when they come to
a shrine or a grave or they travel
to a grave or a shrine, that if
I stand there, there's more chances of my
dua being accepted by Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala.
This is associating partners with Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Creating the أموات, dead people as a barrier
link between you and Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala.
Call upon Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
whoever you are, whatever type of Muslim that
you are.
Your Lord said,
call upon me, whoever you are, call upon
me, I'll respond to your call.
You don't need to come to shrines and
graves.
Yes, we respect these individuals, we make dua
for them.
That's the most that we do.
But we don't become over-reliant.
Even a spider's web, the spider thinks it's
comfortable.
The spider thinks, this is my home, it's
going to protect me.
Shirk protects me.
But when the wind comes, the rain comes,
the dust comes, the turahib comes, it dismantles
the web.
It shows that the web is weak.
It shows that shirk is weak.
It's not going to help the person, it's
futile.
It will not help you or bring you
closer to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
If only they could begin
to understand this.
There's a whole plethora of ulema who will
begin to speak about that these individuals, they're
ignorant.
They don't understand Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
That's why they begin to attribute this to
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and it doesn't
bring them closer to Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala.
Allah knows that what they try to
call upon besides Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
doesn't help them.
And he's the almighty.
The all-wise, that is Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala.
Ulema begin to discuss, why does Allah say
وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ Because here Allah says إِنَّ
اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ الخطاب is speaking about Allah has
the knowledge.
So it will be fitting according to Arabic
syntax and the language that Allah will finish
the ayah by saying that Allah subhanahu wa
He's all-hearing,
the all-knowing.
That's why
ulema begin to discuss to show he's al
-aziz.
Because some of these people who worship these
statues and these idols they think it's going
to give them help.
It's going to give them izzah.
It's going to give them victory.
That's Abu Sufyan, what did he say?
What did he shout out on the day
of battle of Uhud?
May Hubal be glorified.
Izzah and dignity be given to Hubal.
That's we find that when they were standing
Abu Sufyan they're asking about the Prophet ﷺ
before Abu Sufyan became a Muslim.
And the Prophet ﷺ advised his companions to
remain silent.
Kept on asking, Is the Prophet ﷺ, is
he alive?
He told them don't respond.
But when they began to say
When he began to say glorify be Hubal.
So that's when the Prophet ﷺ announced that
Allah is greater.
Allah is greater and to be
magnified.
So even for the Prophet ﷺ he could
have been killed on that day.
They don't know.
He doesn't defend his own self.
He's a messenger of Allah.
He'll come and go.
There was some companions
drop their weapons on the day of Uhud.
They collapsed.
They said there's no point carry on fighting
anymore.
There's no point.
If the messengers left us now, there's no
point carrying on.
That's what you call real Iman.
They dropped their weapons at that moment because
they thought now there's no point carrying on
inside their lives.
You know that's what I read about the
companions.
Unique individuals.
Read about these lives
or these people Allah selected to be around
the Prophet ﷺ.
They're never weakened in their faith.
They're never lessened in their faith.
They remain committed to the Prophet ﷺ.
Strong men.
Strong resolution.
Never changing the slightest.
Even a return back.
They only had one conviction
inside their life.
Is to defend the honor, the dignity of
the Prophet ﷺ.
To be their all expenses.
By here Allah says that announce.
The Prophet ﷺ announced them that Allah is
greater.
Announce the greatness of Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala.
That's what a believer should be doing.
The greatness of Allah.
This is what worries them.
That's why we find that Takbirat.
Just Allahu Akbar.
Allahu Akbar sends shivers down their spines.
It sends shivers down their spines.
That's why they don't want to hear the
Adhan.
That's why at the moment they're desecrating the
masjids.
Desecrating the houses of Allah.
Destroying them.
Dismantling them.
They're symbols of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala huwa al-a
'la.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is the most
powerful.
Al-Aziz, Al-Hakeem.
He's wise in all of this that's taking
place.
These are parables that Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala throws down.
And only people of intellect will be able
to understand these parables.
That people are ignorant and people mock at
the parables and mock at the Quran.
They're not going to benefit.
Those people don't really approach the Quran with
the understanding that's going to benefit them.
They're never going to benefit from these amthar,
these parables that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
places inside the Quran.
Another place in the Quran, Allah mentioned these
parables, a place for us to begin.
For us to begin to reflect
and to ponder upon these signs.
Then Allah once again begins to speak about
His greatness.
That He's created the heavens and the earth
That what can these idols do?
What can they create?
Is there anything that they can create?
Anything that can do?
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is one that
created everything in its due proportion and placed
it there.
Once again, these are signs for the believing
individuals.
And then we find at the end of
this, Allah begins to mention how to correct
one's belief.
Just as we began to find the right
belief is to find the right action inside
our lives.
The action, the commitment change inside our lives.
Allah mentions
Narrate that which Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala sent down upon you from the book.
When we go to the meaning
of tilawat isn't just to recite the Quran
as some of us that we think today.
That's one meaning.
Some have gone to the meaning that tilawat
carries the deeper meaning of action.
That we find not to undermine the Quran
reciters, Quran world at the moment.
But that's what some people just focus upon.
That has become a fun, it's become a
science, it's become an art, it's become a
skill.
But it's a deeper concept of the Quran.
It's changing oneself.
That we find.
So that's why ulema here based upon this
verse is saying to recite your due portion
of Quran on a daily basis.
It will help change the person's life, help
them come closer to Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala.
And establish the salah.
Establish the
prayer.
And to establish the prayer, the dhikr of
Allah takes you away from الفَوَاحِشِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ That's
when Allah said to Musa a.s.
In the beginning of surah Taha
that we find some verse 14 or so.
When Allah spoke to Musa a.s. Musa
a.s. made that journey to meet Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala.
After Allah speaks
When Allah
speaks to Musa a.s. He introduced himself
to Musa a.s. Once again the introduction
It is me the one and
only Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
What should you know that now you know
that I'm Allah?
Worship me.
Establish the prayer for my
remembrance.
To remember Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
That's the second or third thing that we
need to carry out inside our lives is
this Salah that we find.
That's Ibn Kathir he mentions that what is
the impact of Salah.
He narrates that the Salah has three principles
inside there.
For the Salah to become beneficial for the
person based upon this verse.
The first thing is Al-Ikhlas.
To have sincerity because Ikhlas يَأْمُرُ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ When
you have sincerity it will lead you towards
that which is good.
It leads
you Salah if your Salah is Ikhlas sincere
inside your Salah Allah will lead you to
carry out good things.
The second thing is Al-Khashiyah
If you have fear of Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala your Salah develops that you're
going to try to stay away from prohibitions.
As we mentioned time and time again it's
not checking in and checking out.
It's not a formality.
Salah is changing the person changing their perception.
That's why we have Salah five times a
day.
Why five times a day?
Why so many times?
Because continuously the individual especially the male members
they need that reminder they need that because
their Iman can falter and waver more than
the women folk because they're not exposed to
the things that the men exposed that's why
the person who frequents the masjid if I
should know Iman testify that person has Iman
to strengthen Iman.
Why inside wudu does it mention that you
perform wudu that your minor sins whatever you
looked at whatever you may have touched or
glanced upon are washed when you perform wudu.
Why such wordings there?
To encourage the individual when you're living inside
society there's going to be things that you
come across and so Salah, wudu will purify
the person Salah will wipe away the minor
sins of the person bring a person closer
to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and the
greatest thing inside Salah is the remembrance of
Allah that if those Quran if those Imams
are reading those verses those ayat of the
Quran they have a powerful meaning and sometimes
they're reading it with a powerful meaning but
a slackness is from us we don't understand
those words we don't understand what Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala is telling us we just
come out and say oh what a marvelous
recitation what a good recitation that was oh
I wonder why the Imam was crying for
why he was weeping for why a grown
man weeping for when they read the Quran
have you ever thought about that in your
lives?
Why do they weep?
Why are they weeping for?
Because the power of the words of Allah
because the words of Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala bring mountains to dust turn them to
powder That's the power of the
Quran the power of the speech of Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala what it does to
a person so the fault is with us
we can't relate to these verses of Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala the third thing he
mentions is Dhikrullah Al-Quran when you read
the Quran you study the Quran it will
prohibit you and encourage you certain things that
you find certain narrations that ulama have dissected
and criticized their sunnah and the chain of
narration and the text as well that a
person's salat it doesn't bring them close to
Allah it brings them drifts them away from
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala even a discrepancy
inside his narration of the wording but the
meaning is there that if we're not coming
to Salah and trying to change ourself and
inside our graves that you find Salah which
is authentic either Salah will be Nur As
Salah to Nur Salah is Nur Salah will
come in the grave of the person as
light will illuminate radiate our graves Nur inside
our graves or come in a form of
a human being with beautiful clothing beautiful smell
beautiful fragrance person say who is this?
who are you?
they say I'm your prayer just like you
used to preserve and guard so when Allah
said Wa Aqeemu Salah Allah didn't say Wa
Addu Salah that many of us with all
the technical understanding at least I prayed Allah
says Wa Aqeemu Salah Qabla Salah Wa Fi
Dakhli Salah Wa Ba'da Salah Tuhafidhu Salah Hafidhu
Salawati Wa Salatil Wusta Wa Qumu Lillahi Qanitin
preserve all elements of the prayer so this
person will be rejoicing and likewise the opposite
a person with a foul stench foul dress
foul face will be coming towards the person
person say who is this?
who is this?
I'm your Salah I'm your prayer that you
wasted in this dunya this is you this
is your prayer now entering inside your grave
with you at the moment in time may
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala grant us all
the tawfiq and ability to reflect upon these
parables inside the Quran to better our own
selves because on that day we stand with
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala all of us
on our own we have to respond to
our own self that what I do inside
my life to better myself to come closer
to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
