			Salam Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatu

			Buddy brothers and sisters in Islam as always we begin by praising Allah Subhana Allah Allah, we ask
him the almighty to send his choices of blessings and salutations. Upon the final messenger, our
beloved prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa alayhi wa sallam, his family members, his companions,
and all those who tread upon his path with utmost sincerity until the day of the AMA.
		

			So in my part of the world, tonight is the 27th
		

			night from the month of Ramadan, and certain other parts yesterday, or last evening was the 27th
night. Now, as per the teachings of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa alayhi wasallam. We find out
that it is from the signs of Laila to cuddle,
		

			the night of power, the Night of Decree, the night that is better than 1000 months 83 odd years
Subhan Allah, it is from the signs of this night, that there is a possibility, a high possibility
that it can occur during the odd nights of the last 10 nights of Ramadan. Now, that does not mean
and I have stressed on this before as well that does not mean that we rule out the event nights and
only strive during the odd nights. No we need to strive during the event nights as well because this
night is hidden within the last 10 nights of the month of Ramadan. Now that is established, and
every year it keeps hopping. So last year, it could have been during a certain night, and this year,
		

			it could or will be during a certain night. So like I said, we are not supposed to only focus on the
odd nights you're not supposed to only strive, you know 21st 23rd 25th 27th You should also strive
during the even nights having said that
		

			there is a possibility that tonight could be later through the night of power. May Allah Subhana
Allah Allah bless each and every one of us to attain later to attain the night of power The Night of
Decree the night that is better than 1000 months rabada worship during this night is multiplied
across 1000 months in other words, 30,000 nights panela and these are not our words. These are the
words of the maker himself the multiplication factor, the words of Allah subhanho wa Taala What does
he say? In other words,

explain in other words, the virtue of this night is is that it is better than 1000 months in other

			I would like to remind ourselves in regards to a very important concept in our theme.
		

			So for tonight's reminder,
		

			I would like to touch on the word Toba.
		

			Not only Toba is an Arabic term. You have a literal definition for it. And you have a technical
definition. The literal definition of the term Toba
		

			when you say taba in a law

			The meaning of it literally is another in the Arabic language, either in the Arabic language, or
Raja in the Arabic language, which means to return.
		

			Beautiful return to turn back to come back. So this is the literal definition of Toba, the literal

dear brothers and sisters in Islam is to help us understand this concept of tober because you have
to bear in mind that the entire Dean, the entire Dean comes under Toba Allahu Akbar. You might be
wondering the entire Dean coming under the concept of Toba? Yes, because if you look at the
definition now of Toba, the technical definition the technical definition of Toba is to turn away
		

			from everything to turn back to turn away from everything that displeases our maker that displeases
Allah, outwardly and inwardly,
		

			towards that which pleases Allah subhanho wa Taala, outwardly and inwardly.
		

			And you might be thinking, can you repeat the definition? Yes, let me repeat it again, so that we
internalize this definition, so that we reflect on the definition of Toba, because for some of us,
we think that tober is merely a statement. We think the Toba is a prayer that is performed on the
27th night. And then with that it's done. It's like a ritual, a mechanical ritual that's supposed to
be done once every year. And once we are done with it, you know, you know, that's it. We don't have
to think about Toba. Again. as we as we delve further into the content by the brothers and sisters
in Islam, you will realize that Toba Toba is a central teaching of the Drina central concept of the
		

			deen where the entire Deen Islam, a man and a son. All these important areas come under this concept
known as Toba. So in a nutshell,
		

			in a nutshell, it is to turn away from everything but if we say early in terms of the literal
definition, Raja to turn back, to come back. So this is to turn away to turn away from everything
that displeases Allah, and you know, make a mental note at this point, everything outwardly and
inwardly, outwardly and inwardly, and to turn towards that which pleases Allah outwardly and
inwardly. Now, why did I highlight the word inwardly?
		

			A lot of us have this misconception in regards to Toba, where we think that Toba is supposed to be
something that we do only for the outwardly. And we say outwardly at this point, we mean the
outwardly since the outwardly vise that we commit. We rarely think about Toba in terms of the inward
aspects in regards to the matters related to one's heart.
		

			Last evening, we spoke about the heart. And we mentioned that there are lenses of darkness that
cover the heart of an individual in the form of sin, in the form of disobedience in the form of
trance.
		

			aggression in the form of breaching the commandments of Allah. And likewise in terms of breaching
for kukula, about the rights of the creation of Allah subhanho wa Taala.
		

			You see, we don't think of Toba when it comes to elements like jealousy. We don't think of Toba when
it comes to elements like envy, anger, looking down upon others, these are all in wordly things that
need to be addressed, that need to be purified, and washed with the pure waters of Toba, my dear
brothers and sisters in Islam. So towba is not only restricted to the outwardly aspects of an
individual, it governs the outwardly and the inwardly. So look at this definition in a nutshell, it
covers it's upon Allah, it is to turn away from everything that displeases Allah outwardly and
inwardly, and to turn towards that which pleases Allah, outwardly and inwardly. And that's why we
		

			said that the entire Deen comes under this concept of Toba and that is why my dear brothers and
sisters in Islam, when you turn to Toba when you hold on to Toba,
		

			you win the love of Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah subhanho wa Taala he says in the Noble Quran in
now long hair you hate but don't be you know, you hate boil one Mota Haiti in Indeed, Allah loves
the ones who tend to Toba, the ones who turn to Allah subhana wa Taala, the ones that are being the
ones who excessively indulge in Toba.
		

			The ones who excessively turn to Allah the ones who excessively turn away from the things inwardly
and outwardly that displease Allah and turn towards matters inwardly and outwardly that please Allah
subhanho wa Taala. My dear brothers and sisters in Islam, during this night, I would like to remind
myself and all of you all in regards to the kindness of our maker, in regards to the mercy of our
maker, in regards to the magnanimous nature of Allah subhanho wa Taala.
		

			The teachings of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam clearly illustrate the teachings of the
prophets that along earlier Islam clearly educate us, in terms of the mercy of allies have a look at
this hadith. Look at this narration. It took place during the time of the Prophet sallallahu, alayhi
wasallam, the prophet was with the companions, and they passed by
		

			a woman who was frantically looking for her child. So perhaps she had lost her child, okay?
temporarily, you know, because at times, you know, when you go to a crowded place, and if you miss
your child, for a moment or two panic grips you and you start scrambling looking around for your
child, right?
		

			Because you're worried now, so likewise, they could see worry etched on the face of this mother, and
she's frantically looking for her child, and perhaps they were about to help her. When they observe
her spotting her child, she finds her child. And now you can see the immediate change in her
demeanor. You can see relief washing down her face. As she rushes to the child. The mother is love
manifesting, she rushes to her child. She hugs the child relief washing down her face, she hugs her
child towards her bosom.
		

			The prophets are love it when he was looking at this beautiful spectacular. He asks the companions
or my companions, do you think that this mother would throw her child because now, at this juncture,
when so much of love is being manifested, love is being shown the spectacle of love. The Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he asks the companions Do you think this mother
		

			with love oozing from her? Do you think she would throw her child into a fire? Which the companions
all responded No, no sort of law. She wouldn't do it she wouldn't throw her child into a fire. Then
the professor along while he was in a mentor to respond and say that Allah is so many more times the
narration goes along the lines of these words and paraphrasing. A lot is so many more times more
merciful and to his creation, and to his slaves and to his servants. Then this mother is towards her
child, a law of Aqaba,
		

			the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala multiplied so many more times.
		

			the mercy of a mother towards her child.
		

			Think about it, my dear brothers and sisters in Islam. Think about it if on the day of karma, if you
were given the opportunity to be
		

			judged by your mother, would you not feel relieved?
		

			And pious scholars of the past go on to say that one, after hearing this hadith and knowing about
the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala you need to be even more relieved. That it is not your mother
who is judging you. It is a loss of Hannah who is Allah who is judging you and Allah? And why why
should you be relieved because Allah is so many more times more merciful than your own mother. If
you have so much confidence in the mercy of your mother, then you must have many more times.
Confidence in the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala because he as the virgin he Allahu Rahim, Allah
man, Allah dude is so many more times more merciful than our own mothers. This is the mercy of Allah
		

			subhanho wa Taala. I'd like to share a beautiful Heidi's at this juncture in regards to the whole
point of mentioning this hadith many brothers and sisters in Islam, especially during this night
during the last 10 nights of Ramadan is to fill our hearts with hope. There are many of us who have
lost hope. We think that you know what, I don't know whether to love and forgive me. I've committed
so many sins I've done so much of wrong. I don't know whether Allah will forgive me my dear brother,
my dear sister, you should know that Allah will definitely forgive you. Allah is the most forgiving
the Most Merciful. The kind the forgiving. R Rahman r Rahim Allah subhanho wa Taala. Now look at
		

			this hadith. The Hadith is recorded in the book of Mr. Muslim Rahim Allah in His sohei it's an
authentic hadith. Abdullah had been MSL od about one a famous Companion of the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam, he states that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, the last
one to enter Paradise will be a man who will walk once, stumble once and he will be burned by the
fire once and when he gets past it. So he'll walk once he'll stumble once he will even be burnt by
the fire a little bit. Allah protect us from the blazing fire of Johanna. When he gets past it, he
will turn to it, he will turn to the fire and he will say blesser de be the one who has saved me
		

			from you or fire. Allah has given me something that he has not given to the first or the last of
mankind, because he be so relieved that he escaped the burning fire and the tormance of of * of
jahannam that he will thank Allah He will exalt Allah subhanho wa Taala. And at this juncture, a
tree will be raised up for him a tree.
		

			And now this man will say, oh my lord, Oh Allah, bring me closer to this tree, so that I may take
shelter in its shade, and so much so that I may drink of its water. So there's this tree and there's
a there's perhaps a rivulet of water running. And this man, he cries out there Allah bring me closer
to the tree, so that I might shelter in its shade, and so that I may drink of its water. And then
Allah subhana wa dallah will say, oh, son of Adam, perhaps if I were to answer your,
		

			your plea, your invocation, if I were to grant you your wish, the narration goes along the lines of
these words, you will ask me for something else. Now, if I grant you this wish, then there will be
another request after this, to which this man will respond saying no yeah, Allah. And then Allah
subhanho wa Taala and the man will go on to promise and he will say that I will not ask you of
anything else, Allah will excuse him, because he has seen something that he cannot help wanting, and
he will be brought near to this tree, he will take shelter in the shade of the tree and he will
drink of its water. Then now another tree will be raised up that is more beautiful than the first
		

			tree in terms of its shade in terms of the water running beneath it. And this man will now cry out
there Allah
		

			please bring me closer to this tree so that I may drink of its water and so that I may take shelter
in its shade. And I will not ask you have anything else yeah, Allah. Now Allah subhana wa Jalla will
address the man Yeah, but Adam, Oh son of Adam, did you not promise me that you will not ask me for
anything else. And then the men will say perhaps Allah Subhana Allah will go on to say, perhaps if I
bring you near to it, you will ask me for something else. If your wishes are
		

			And if your request is granted, you will now ask me for something else.
		

			Now, he is not will excuse him because he has now seen something that he cannot help wanting. And
now this man keeps persisting in is asking and he will be brought near to it, and he will shelter in
its shade and he will drink of its water. Now another tree will be raised up for this individual, a
third tree, at the gate of Paradise at the gate of Jenna. And this tree that is more beautiful than
the previous to trees, this will be the most beautiful of trees.
		

			And the man now after seeing this, he will say, yeah, Allah, if you if you would allow me to get
closer to this tree, so that I might shelter in its shade and drink of its water and eventually
Allah will grant the request of this man at this juncture to and he will be given permission to be
by the third tree. And now why whilst he is by the third tree, he will be brought so close to the
gates of Jenna because the tree is by the gates of Jenna. He will hear the voices of the people of
Paradise and he will say your Allah admit me into Jenna please admit me into Jenna. Now Allah
subhanho wa Taala will ask the man Oh son of Adam, what will you what will make you stop asking?
		

			Will it pleases you? If I give you the world as an agenda equivalent to the world and as much of it
again, as in something similar to the world and its equivalent.
		

			The man will say Oh Allah, are you making fun of me when you are Rebecca Hannah mean, when you are
the Lord of all worlds ebms Rudra the alum, one who at this juncture was narrating the Hadith. He
smiled, and he asked his companions Why don't you ask me why I am smiling. Then they all ask when
was the last one Yeah, but Emma's rude Why are you smiling? So you've been the most rude or the one
who then says this is how the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam smiled, and when he
smiled, the companions all asked the Prophet salallahu rasulillah or messenger of Allah, why are you
smiling? And the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam responded, because Rabbil alameen The Lord of
		

			the worlds will smile. When this man says are you making fun of me? I love and you are the Lord of
all words. And Allah subhanho wa Taala will say I am not making fun of you. I am able to do whatever
I will allow Acrobat. Look at the mercy of Allah Subhana Allah look at the magnanimous nature of our
maker subhanho wa Taala. In terms of Toba, we need to turn to Allah sincerely. We need to turn back
to him sincerely adhering and fulfilling the conditions of Toba and even wondering conditions of
Toba. What are these conditions of Koba? Let me swiftly run through the conditions of Toba, from the
conditions of Toba, for Toba to be accepted by Allah Subhana. Allah, you have three conditions or at
		

			least three conditions condition number one, you should abandon the sin that you are in
		

			and does does it not make sense? What is the point of turning to align Toba? In regards to a sin?
Perhaps it's inwardly perhaps it's outwardly if you are not going to abandon it, if you're not going
to leave it How can you expect Allah subhanho wa Taala to forgive you, when you are valuing in that
sin when you are drowning in that sin? When you have plunged yourself into the into the into the
abyss of that sin, and when you're not willing to come out of that abyss? How can you expect your
Toba to be accepted by Allah subhanho wa Taala. So condition number one, you must abandon the sin
slash sins that you are in.
		

			When you do so, and turn to Allah, Allah will give you along with fulfilling the other conditions a
fresh and brand new slate. So you must ensure that this slate is not contaminated. So condition
number one,
		

			you must abandon the same condition number two in the Arabic language, you need to have sincere
regret in regards to the vise in regards to the sin slash sins committed.
		

			You see there's no point in turning to Allah subhanho wa Taala with no regret some of us like I
said, we have made this a mechanical ritual. We say you know stuff for a lot of stuff a lot of stuff
for a lot more be prayer Yella Forgive me my sense, but we don't mean it. There's no regret in our
hearts. We don't mean it. We
		

			Because right after that, we go back to our old ways. May Allah protect us. It is sincere regret if
they're sincere guilt and remorse, then you're going to turn away, you're going to feel this, this
feeling of guilt burning a hole in your heart. So this the sense of many brothers and sisters in
Islam,
		

			let your heart burn
		

			due to the guilt of sin,
		

			instead of having to taste the real fire of Johanna because of the same
		

			that your heart burn, let it burn out of the guilt because of the sin that you have committed.
		

			Because then that heart will be purified, that heart will be polished, and that heart will become
soft and soft returning to Allah subhanho wa Taala.
		

			So number two, never regret number three Isom, so number one, you must abandon the same. Number two,
there must be sincere regret in your heart. Number three, you should resolve never to go back to
that same aisle as a firm determination that you're not going to go back to those ways of
displeasing Allah subhanho wa Taala inwardly and outwardly. So therefore my dear brothers and
sisters in Islam, turn to your maker, before it's too late to fulfill rule in a law, flee unto
Allah. Use these last 10 nights to secure the forgiveness of Allah to secure the pleasure of Allah
subhanho wa Taala. Use these last 10 nights do as many good deeds as possible to scrub your heart
		

			clean to polish your heart clean like a mirror, make it shine like a radiant lamp, with the light of
faith with the light of a man with the light of the knowledge of the Dean of the Quran and the
teachings of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa alayhi wa sallam. With that I conclude this reminder.
And as we conclude, we pray unto Allah subhanho wa Taala. And we ask you that you keep this new
virus from continuing to spread. We begged and we plead that you give our government officials the
ability to safely handle people and to help them to bring in just measures to mitigate the spread of
this virus. We pray unto you that you forgive us of our sins of our shortcomings and that you
		

			protect us from all shapes and forms of evil, that you protect us from the traps of the devil, from
the whisperings of the devil. Allah help us to do as much good as possible. And during this global
pandemic, help people decide to stay home to stay safe. Instead of traveling or going out needlessly
and exposing themselves and others, you're allowed to take away the fear, the anxiety, the
negativity and the feelings of isolation from people receiving treatment, or, or under quarantine,
give them a sense of purpose in pursuing good health and protecting others from exposure to the
disease. Like what like likewise gives us a sense of purpose, to protect ourselves and protect our
		

			loved ones, or Allah protect our families, protect our friends, and bring peace to all who love
them.
		

			Allah we pray for those who lost their lives to this pandemic. We pray for their families. We pray
that they be blessed with patience to go through these trying times to go through this chaos. We
pray that you help them during the loss of their loved ones.
		

			We pray that you ease their affairs we pray that you open those of goodness for them.
		

			And likewise, we pray that you ease all of our affairs. Yeah, Allah, you are the most generous,
you're the generous Lord whose treasuries are far wide and infinite. It is daunting at this
juncture. It is overwhelming, it is frightening and it is scary, not knowing how bills are going to
be paid, how commitments are going to be met, how we're going to provide for our families. And as so
many people feel the financial crunch the financial strain during these times of uncertainty, bring
them comfort and peace, give bring them comfort and ease. Remind them that you are there for them
and that you are there to provide for them in their times of need. There are logistics how you get
		

			that all of us virtually across these platforms, unite us and gather us in your beautiful and lofty
garden and grant us the beautiful and lofty companionship of the messenger Muhammad sallallahu
alayhi wa alayhi wa sallam. I mean I mean we're after the wire, and in hamdu Lillahi Rabbil
aalameen. With that I conclude this reminder, I look forward to talking to you all in another video
