Muiz Bukhary – The Power of Bismillh

Did you know that there is a simple

phrase, a simple statement that can transform

every action

of yours, every action that you do into

a source of huge blessings?

That is something that many of us, we

say very lightly without even realizing its immense

power. So stick around till the end of

So what is this statement?

The phrase is

Bismillah,

in the name of Allah, in the name

of God Almighty.

It is not just words. It is a

game changer. By starting anything with Bismillah, whether

it is eating,

working, working out, or even something as simple

as leaving your house or going to the

washroom,

you are inviting Allah's blessings and protection into

your life. Alayhi Bin Abi Taarib radiAllahu anhu

he reports, the prophet has said,

a screen will be placed between the eyes

of the jinn

and the nakedness of the children of Adam

if one of them says as he or

she enters the washroom,

Bismillah, in the name of Allah. So you

say Bismillah,

a screen is placed to protect you. Hadith

is recorded in the book of Imam al

Thirmidi Rahimahullah.

Another narration, Abu Hureyra radiAllahu anhu narrates the

prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, his report wrote,

and the narration goes along the lines of

these words.

Every

important word or matter

that does not begin

with the remembrance of Allah, the mentioning of

Allah

is maimed, is is

disabled, or becomes incomplete. Hadith is recorded in

the book of Imam Ahmed

Rahimahullah. So if you look at Bismillah,

it is not just a phrase.

It is not just a statement.

It is a powerful

reminder

that we are placing our trust in Allah.

We are seeking his help. We're seeking his

blessings in whatever

we do. When we say Bismillah before starting

something,

whether it is as simple as eating or

as significant as beginning, let's say,

a new project,

we are acknowledging

that all success,

all blessings,

all assistance, and all

boons,

good fortune, everything comes from Allah alone. The

prophet, sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, he taught us

to begin every action of ours with Bismillah.

And, subhanallah,

it is such a powerful way

to purify our intentions, to recalibrate our intentions,

to invite Allah's help into our lives. When

we start with Bismillah,

it is as if we are asking Allah

to protect us from harm,

to guide our steps

and to bless each and every one of

our efforts. Imagine even the smallest of tasks

like drinking water

or putting on your shoes can become acts

of worship

simply by saying Bismillah before doing them. It

is a reminder that nothing is

insignificant

when done with the right intention

and in the name of Allah, remembering Allah.

And it doesn't stop there.

Starting with Bismillah

also

keeps us mindful and conscious

of our actions.

It helps us to avoid

anything that might displease Allah

because

how can we say his name

over something that is bad, over something that

isn't good?

So, therefore,

let us make it a habit to start

every action of ours with Bismillah. It is

a small phrase with immense power as you

can see, bringing blessings

into our lives and also keeping us

connected to our maker, to to to Allah
