9 Step Strategy to Attain Jannah

OBJECTIVE : OUR PRIMARY PURPOSE

A personal link with Allah
“And I did not create the jinn and mankind
except to worship Me”
Ad Dhariyat 51:56

FOCUS ON THE PRIORITIES

Abu Hurayra reported that the prophet (s) said Allah says :
I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a pious
worshipper of mine, and the most beloved things with which
My slave comes nearer to Me is what I have enjoined upon
him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through
performing Nawafil deeds till I love him. Then I become his
sense of hearing with which he hears and his sense of sight
with which he sees, and his hand with which he grips and his
leg with which he walks and if he asks Me I will give him and
if he asks My protection I will protect him.
Bukhari

SPECIAL INVESTMENTS (ALMOST) THE HEAVIEST: SALAH

“The first thing the people will be accountable for
on the Day of Judgement is prayer, Allah will say
to His angels (even though he already knows) :
“Look at my servants prayers. Were they complete
or not?” If they were complete It will be written as
complete

If they were not fully complete Allah will say:
“See if my servant has voluntary prayers, If he has
them Allah will say: Complete his obligatory prayers
shortage with his voluntary prayers.” Then the rest
of his deeds will be dealt with in the same manner.”
{Reported by Imams Ahmad, Abu Dawood, An-Nisa’i, and Al-Hakim}

SIMPLE AND CONSISTENT THINGS

Short cuts to Jannah

Compiled by Sheikh Muhammad West (Imam at Masjied Boorhaanol Islam)

  1. A sincere intention. Indeed actions are but
    (rewarded) by intentions and every man shall have
    that which he intended.’ [Collected by Bukhari and
    Muslim]
  2. “Whoever recites Ayat Al- Kursi immediately after
    each prescribed Prayer, there will be nothing
    standing between him and his entering Paradise
    except death.” [an-Nasa’i and Ibn Hibban]
  3. Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu ‘anhu narrates that Nabi
    Sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam said: “Indeed, there is a
    Surah in the Qur’an having thirty verses, which
    intercedes for its reciter until he is forgiven. And
    that Surah is: Tabarakalladhl biyadihil mulk (Surah
    67).” (Tirmidhi)
  4. Two words which are light on the tongue but will
    weigh heavily in the Balance and are beloved to the
    Most Merciful: Subhaan Allaah il-‘Azeem, Subhaan
    Allaahi wa bi Hamdihi (Glory be to Allaah the
    Almighty, Glory and praise be to Allaah).” (Narrated
    by al-Bukhaari, 6406).
  5. “Whoever supplicates Allāh to exalt my mention
    (i.e., send ṣalāh), Allāh will exalt his mention (i.e.,
    send ṣalāh) ten times and remove from him ten sins
    and raise him ten degrees.” [Muslim]
  6. Prophet (salallaahu ‘alaihi wassallam) said:
    “Whoever says when he enters the morning:
    Radeetu billaahi Rabban, wa bil-Islaami Deenan,
    wa bi-Muhammadin nabiyyan, (I am pleased with
    Allaah as the Lord, and with Islaam as a Religion,
    and with Muhammad as a Prophet), then I am the
    guarantor that I will take him by his hand until I
    enter him into Jannah.” As-Sahīhah Al-Bani
  7. Whoever declares there is no god but Allah, He is
    one without partner, to Him is the sovereignty and
    praise and He is powerful over everything (La ilaha
    ila allah wahdu la shrike la lahu almulk wa lahu
    alhamdu w ahu ala kuli shayin qadeer) one
    hundred times a day, then he will have the reward
    of emancipating ten slaves, a hundred good deeds
    will be recorded for him, a hundred sins will be
    erased from his record, and he will be guarded
    from the devil during the day until evening. No
    one will exceed him except one who recited these
    words more often. Whoever declares the glory of
    Allah one hundred times a day, his sins will be
    erased even if they are like the foam of the ocean.
    Source: Sahih Muslim 2691, Grade: Sahih
  8. “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of
    Allaah be upon him) said: ‘There are two qualities,
    no Muslim man acquires them but he will enter
    Paradise, and they are simple and easy. He should
    glorify Allaah (say Subhaan Allaah) ten times
    immediately after each prayer, and praise Him (say
    Al-hamdu Lillaah) ten times and magnify Him (say
    Allaahu akbar) ten times.’ I saw the Messenger of
    Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
    counting this on his fingers. He said: ‘That makes
    one hundred and fifty on the tongue, and one
    thousand five hundred (hasanaat) in the scales. .
    When you go to bed, glorify Him and praise Him
    and magnify Him one hundred times: that will be
    one hundred on the tongue and a thousand in the
    scales. Who among you does two thousand and five
    hundred sayi’aat (bad deeds) in one day?’ They
    said: ‘How could we not count (our sins)?’ He said:
    ‘The Shaytaan comes to any one of you whilst he is
    praying and says, Remember this, remember that,
    until he finishes his prayer and does not do (this
    dhikr), or he comes to him when he is lying down
    and makes him sleepy, until he falls asleep (without
    doing this dhikr)…” (Abu ‘Eesaa said: This is a hasan
    saheeh hadeeth. Sunan al-Tirmidhi, 3332).
  9. Abu Hurayrah from the Messenger of Allaah (peace
    and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “Whoever
    glorifies Allaah (says Subhaan Allaah) thirty-three
    times immediately after each prayer, and praises
    Allaah (says Al-hamdu Lillaah) thirty-three times,
    and magnifies Allaah (says Allaahu akbar) thirtythree times, this makes ninety-nine, then to
    complete one hundred says Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah
    wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahu’l-mulk wa lahu’lhamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer (There is
    no god except Allaah Alone, with no partner, His is
    the power and His is the praise, and He is Able to do
    all things) – his sins will be forgiven even if they are
    like the foam of the sea.” (Reported by Muslim,
    939).
  10. “Each of [the following] three has a guarantee with
    Allâh – that if he lives, he is taken care of, and if he
    dies, he will enter Paradise: One who enters his
    house with ‘Salaam’ has a guarantee with Allâh
    ‘Azza Wa-Jall (The Most Mighty and Exalted); One
    who goes out to the Masjid has a guarantee with
    Allâh; and One who geos out in the way of Allâh has
    a guarantee with Allâh.” [1][1] Al-Adab Al-Mufrad
    (1094). Al-Albaanee said, “Saheeh.”
  11. Sayidul istigfar : O Allaah, You are my Lord, none
    has the right to be worshipped except You, You
    created me and I am You servant and I abide to
    Your covenant and promise as best I can, I take
    refuge in You from the evil of which I committed. I
    acknowledge Your favour upon me and I
    acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none
    can forgive sin except You.’Allahuma anta rabi la
    ila ha ila ant. Anta kalaqtani wa ana abduka wa
    alaa ahdika wa wahdika mastatahtu. Aaoothubika
    min shari ma sanahtu. Abuoh laka binimatika
    alayah wa abuoah bithumby fagfirly fa inahu la
    yaghfiru thunub ila ant. “If somebody recites it
    during the day with firm faith in it and dies on the
    same day before the evening, he will be from the
    people of Paradise and if somebody recites it at
    night with firm faith in it and dies before the
    morning he will be from the people of Paradise.”
  12. I swear by the one in whose hand lies my soul that
    you will not enter paradise until you believe. And
    you shall not believe until you love one another.
    Shall I tell you something, that if you practice it you
    will love another? Spread the (salaam) Islamic
    greeting amongst yourselves. [Muslim]
  13. Best times to make Duah : Solah before tasleem; In
    Sujood; Between athaan and iqama; last third of
    the night; While fasting; Just before breaking fast;
    An hour in Jumuah.
    Things to make your duah more acceptable: Praise
    and thank Allah; Apply the most appropriate of
    Allah’s names to the duah; Mention the good deeds
    you have done for Allah’s sake; Make duah for
    others; Make salwat on the Prophet (s).
  14. Abu Huraira reported that Allah’s Messenger (sal
    Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said to Bilal: “Bilal, tell me
    which act you did at the time of the morning prayer
    for which you hope to receive good reward, for I
    heard during the night the sound of your footsteps
    before me in Paradise?” Bilal (radi Allahu anhu)
    replied: “I did not do any act in Islam for which I
    hope to get any benefit, but this, that when I
    perform complete ablution during the night or day I
    observe prayer with that purification, what Allah
    has ordained for me to pray.” [Sahih Muslim]
  15. If any Muslim servant (of Allaah) prays for the sake
    of Allaah twelve rak’ahs (of Sun’an) every day, over
    and above the obligatory ones, Allaah will build for
    him a house in Paradise, (Muslim Book #004, Hadith 1581)
  1. A’isha relates that the Prophet (Allah bless him and
    give him peace) said, “The two [sunna] cycles
    (rak`ats) of the morning prayer are better than the
    world and what it contains’ [Muslim]
  2. Abu Dharr: The Prophet (saws) said: “In the
    morning every single joint of yours must pay
    a sadaqa. ..and all this is accomplished through two
    rak`ats one can pray in Duha (salatul duha is two
    rakah Sunnah from after sunrise to zawal.”
    (Muslim)
  3. “He who prays ad-Doha, fasts three days every
    month and does not abandon Witr neither
    travelling nor at residence, will have the reward of
    a martyr written for him” [atTabarani in
    Muyamma’ azZawa’ed (241/2), declared saheeh by
    sheikh al-Albani (rahimahu Allaah) in sahih atTarghib wa Taarhib, no. 595
  4. Whoever does Ghusl on Friday and causes (his wife)
    to do Ghusl, and sets out early, and comes close to
    the imam and listens and keeps quiet, for every
    step he takes he will have the reward of fasting and
    praying qiyaam for one year.” (al-Tirmidhi, 496)
  5. “I saw a person enjoying paradise simply because
    he had chopped from the road a tree that was
    annoying the Muslims.” [Muslim]
  6. Fasting on the day of Arafah forgives the prior year
    and forthcoming year sins. Fasting the day of
    Ashura (10 Muharram) forgiveness for prior year
    sins. [Muslim]
  7. “The Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed the
    Fajr prayer and then left the apartment of his
    wife Juawarya. He stayed out until forenoon
    and then came back while she was still at her
    place of prayer. She told him,‘I have stayed
    here since you left.’The Prophet (peace be
    upon him) thereupon told her, ‘I have recited
    four words three times after I left you and if
    these were to be weighed against what you
    have recited since morning, (then) these words
    would outweigh them and (these words) are,
    ‘Praise be to Allah according to the number of
    His creation and according to the pleasure of
    His Self and according to the weight of his
    Throne and according to the ink (used in
    recording)His words (for His Praise).” – Muslim
  8. Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on Friday, it will
    act as a light/protection for him from one
    Friday to the next. [Bayhaqi]
  9. whoever prays fajr (morning prayer) in
    congregation then sits remembering Allah until
    the sun rises, then prays two units of prayer
    has the reward like that of Hajj and Umrah.
    [Tirmidhi]
  10. The Prophet (pbuh) said that Smiling is a
    charity. He also said having intercourse with
    your wife is a charity.

REOCCURRING RETURNS

Abu Huraira (RadhiAllahu ‘anhu) reported: Allah’s
Messenger (s) saying:

When a man dies, his acts come
to an end, but three, recurring
charity or knowledge (by which
people) benefit, or a pious son,
who prays for him (for the
deceased).

GOOD CHARACTER

“I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah
be upon him) say,
‘There is nothing that will be placed in the
Balance that will weigh more heavily than a good
character. The one who has a good charity will
attain thereby the status of one who fasts and
prays (a great deal).’”
(Saheeh Sunan al-Tirmidhi, 1629)

It was narrated that Abu’l-Darda’ (may Allaah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“Shall I not tell you something that is better than the status
of (voluntary) fasting, prayer and charity?”
They said: “Yes.” He said:
“Reconciling in a case of discord, for the evil of discord is the
shaver.”
Al-Tirmidhi said: It was narrated that the Prophet (peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“It is the shaver, and I do not say that it shaves hair, but that
it shaves (i.e., destroys) religious commitment.”
Narrated by Abu Dawood, 4273; al-Tirmidhi, 2433. classed as hasan by al-Albaani
in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi

AVOID NULLIFIERS

And it was already revealed to you and
to those before you that if you should
associate [anything] with Allah , your
work would surely become worthless,
and you would surely be among the
losers.
Az Zumar 39:65

“Do you know who is the one who is bankrupt?” They said,
‘The bankrupt is the one who has no money and no
possessions.’
He said, ‘Among my Ummah, the one who is bankrupt is the
one who will come on the Day of Resurrection with prayer
and fasting and Zakah (to his credit), but he will come
having insulted this one, slandered that one, consumed the
wealth of this one and shed the blood of that one, and
beaten that one.
So they will all be given some of his hasanaat, and when his
hasanaat run out, before judgment is passed, some of their
sins will be taken and cast onto him, then he will be cast
into the Fire.'”
(Muslim: 4/1998, Hadith no. 2581)

AVOID MAJOR SINS

“If you avoid the major sins which you are forbidden,
We will remove from you your lesser sins and admit
you to a noble entrance [into Paradise].”
An Nisa 4:31

COMPENSATORS

“No tiredness, exhaustion, worry, grief, distress or
harm befalls a believer in this world, not even a
thorn that pricks him, but Allah expiates some of
his sins thereby.”
[Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

HOPE IN THE MERCY OF ALLAH

…They will say, ‘O Allah! (Save) our brothers (for they) used to
pray with us, fast with us and also do good deeds with us.’
Allah will say, ‘Go and take out (of Hell) anyone in whose
heart you find faith equal to the weight of one (gold) Dinar.’
Allah will forbid the Fire to burn the faces of those sinners.

They will go to them and find some of them in Hell (Fire) up to
their feet, and some up to the middle of their legs. So they will
take out those whom they will recognize and then they will
return, and Allah will say (to them), ‘Go and take out (of Hell)
anyone in whose heart you find faith equal to the weight of
one half Dinar.’

They will take out whomever they will recognize and return,
and then Allah will say,
‘Go and take out (of Hell) anyone in whose heart you find
faith equal to the weight of an atom (or a smallest ant), and
so they will take out all those whom they will recognize.”

The Prophet added, “Then the prophets and Angels and the
believers will intercede, and (last of all) the Almighty (Allah)
will say, ‘Now remains My Intercession. He will then hold a
handful of the Fire from which He will take out some people
whose bodies have been burnt, and they will be thrown into
a river at the entrance of Paradise, called the water of life.
Sahih al-Bukhari 7439

Tribute to Imam Hashim Salie
The Boorhaanol Islam Movement deeply mourns the
passing of al-marghoom Imam Hashim Salie. Imam
Hashim played a pivotal role in the administrative,
constitutional and religious affairs of the Boorhaanol
for many years. Beyond the Boorhaanol, Imam
Hashim was involved in a founding or leadership role
in many other organizations, be it religious, cultural,
professional, socio-economic or sporting.
An accountant by profession, Imam Hashim saw no
dichotomy between the secular and the religious,
frequently blending the two with wisdom,
intelligence and insight that smoothed the progress of
those individuals and organizations. He was a man
that touched the lives of a very wide spectrum of
people, and society has today lost a servant of
humanity par excellence.
May Allah the Merciful grant him a high place in
Jannah, fill his Qabr with Noor and place sabr in the
hearts of his family, Ameen.

Are languishing on rajim Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil aalameen or salat wa salam ala COVID mursaleen syedna Mohammed Allah Allah He was a Marine, my beloved brothers and sisters of Saira Malik Mohammad Lani. Obrigado Alhamdulillah. Allah me and always we will we begin with the praise and the thanks of Alanna, should of Allah, Allah in Allah, we have a witness that is not worthy of worship besides Allah subhanaw taala and we send our love greetings salutations to beloved Nabina Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam to spice up your family, whose companions and all those who follow and look upon you sooner until the end of time. May Allah subhanaw taala police us to be

00:00:30--> 00:01:09

amongst them. I mean, I mean, hamdulillah Al Hamdulillah these past few weeks have been a very tough couple of weeks. For me personally, from a work perspective, it was our financial year in them last week and Hamdulillah, our company, we released our set of financials. And during this process, you know, with all the blood, sweat and tears, I was amazed and thinking about how much effort and how much time goes into scrutinizing how well a company is doing every number is assessed, and it's audited externally, and we measure the company on different levels to to determine is this company successful? Is it achieving strategy? Is it returning value to shareholders? And I wonder if we were

00:01:09--> 00:01:46

to do a similar kind of assessment if we were to give a person a set of KPIs, a set of key performance indicators measures and to assist us as Muslims or as our so how well would we do how well can we say we are at achieving our strategy? And what is the plan that you will put forward to attain that? Is there a way we can strategize? Because ultimately, you know, in a nutshell, life is simplified. Allah either has placed each of us on the dunya. And he's given each of us a different set of tests and challenges and blessings, ups and downs of life, some of us will have long some of us will have short, some of us will have money, some of us will be poor, whatever it might be, that

00:01:46--> 00:02:21

is in the discretion of Allah Subhana Allah, but ultimately, we all have an objective, and that is to come through life and at the end of the day, to intergender to theodosian, Melba grant all of us to attend Jenna and Olga and all those who have passed away to attend genital Amin. So how do we get the answer there? I thought if we were to give a strategic plan to get to Jana, what are the key performance indicators are the key objectives would need to achieve to attain gender and so this workbench Allah is a nine step strategy to attain gender. And step number one, and this is a very clear and this is the primary it is the foundational step of our religion. It is La ilaha illa Allah

00:02:21--> 00:02:55

that is none worthy of worship besides Allah. When Allah says when Mahara project I will insert a linear balloon that I have not created men engine exhibit, you should worship me. And this is the ultimate theme of Islam and it's the ultimate theme of the Quran. And it's something that we don't reflect on very often. I had a class this week with new students. And before we began the class I asked him, you know, what is the Kadima mean? You know, before we learn anything, the first thing you do I mean a revert before they enter into Islam. First thing we do is the Kadima. And we sometimes never fully reflect on the kalama. The key appreciating matter of Islam is this concept of

00:02:55--> 00:03:32

though hate all religions believe in one creator. Now, the Christians, the Jews, folk religions, they all believe in one supreme creator, one Supreme Lord of the universe. So believing in one creator is not something new. It's not something unique to Islam. What is unique to Islam is that La ilaha illa Allah means that there is none worthy of worship besides the Creator. And so, you know, if we use our Christian friends and colleagues is an example, that they believe in one creator, but when times are difficult, when they are in hardship, you know, in the hospital, or when they are happy, who do they turn to, in pray and in worship with Jesus, and you know, other groups, they will

00:03:32--> 00:04:06

believe in a creator but they will turn to the ancestors, or the spirits, or the saints, or certain objects, you know, idols or statues or, or things that they wait for prediction. All these things are worship other than Allah subhanaw taala. And what Islam came to, to bring mankind is to say that there is none that you need to worship besides your Creator, there is nothing that can benefit you or harm you. None that can save you, none of that can forgive you other than your Creator, and you have a personal link with your Creator. You don't need to go through an Imam or chef oily way, grave way karma, you don't need to go through any of these things. You all you need to do is raise your

00:04:06--> 00:04:42

hands and Allah subhanaw taala is connected to you. And so your number one objective in life is to have a personal relationship with you know, to speak to him, and to worship Him. And if you are living your life, no matter how much success you have, but you do not worship your Creator, you do not acknowledge Him is a part of your life, then you failed at life. And so this is the number one primary objective of life to worship Allah and Allah alone. The next priority the next step on our strategic plan, unless pantalla tells us there's a hadith called the Hadith of the valley, the highlight of those who are closest to Allah and Allah Subhana. Allah says, In this long Hadith we

00:04:42--> 00:04:59

just basically mentioned this one part of it. He says, Allah himself says this, the most beloved thing with which my slave comes near to me, is through that which I have made compulsory upon him. So Allah tells us that the things that we need to focus on all the primary for

00:05:00--> 00:05:39

The things which are compulsory, our five pillars after the kalama, the four pillars and those things which are compulsory after that. And then Allah says, and then of course, my servant comes closer and closer to me through performing more now I feel deeds until I love him until I love him. And so for us, it is very clear that after worshipping Allah alone, the next primary focus are the pillars of Islam. And perhaps the one that we need to work on the hardest is that of of surah in the Hadith, the prophet is in tells us that the first thing the people will be accounted for meaning the believers after after he passed the test of the kalama, who is that your worship, and if you worship

00:05:39--> 00:06:18

any besides Allah, then we know that gender is made prohibited for you to protect us, but for those who are Muslim, meaning that they have accepted the kalama then the first thing will be tested on the first, the first important measure, the first KPI, the Muslim will be tested on is, Allah will say, look at my servants surah where they complete or not, did we complete our praise on time, Allah Subhana Allah will look at our Salah, and we will have be answerable, if we have fulfilled those surah and if they will complete it will be written like when you have been completed, and if they were incomplete. In other Allah's mercy, Allah will look at how much extra sooner Salah they are to

00:06:18--> 00:06:57

make up the deficiency in Salah. And then also Prandtl himself says that all the problems is that if he Salah is complete, and if he saw that is deficient, then the rest of his deeds will be dealt with in the same manner. Meaning if you're able to pass the question of Salam and fkm the rest of the questioning will be made easy, you'll pass the sub exam and if you fail, with Allah subhanaw taala in your Salah. Then the rest of the question, it becomes very, very difficult to mount la protect us and so Salah is really a measure of how successful we are in terms of our of our image if we are punctual and our salah and we make make them on time when hamdulillah Al Hamdulillah. That's good

00:06:57--> 00:07:30

that for those who are very special, Salah is part of their life, they enjoy Salah when we get to that level when Salah is the most important thing in the daily routine, everything stops and Salah takes priority Alhamdulillah that's good. There's some of us that, you know, we put Salah in just on time just before the water was out, you know, as long as it's on time, that's good, but we have work to do. There are those of us who missed one or two work every day. And for those we need to work very, very hard, we are failing in something which is of primary importance to Allah. And then of course there are those of us who are very negligent with our Salah. And if we are in that bucket,

00:07:30--> 00:08:06

then Alhamdulillah we have time, we'll start with one, you know, if you don't perform any Salah at all, this is a very dangerous area of territory to be in. In fact, the Sahaba are very clear and the orlimar them formula very clear that someone who completely neglects Allah, the theoretical Sarah, the one who doesn't perform in Sora. In such a person, it's really questionable whether you even a Muslim whether you are even eligible to attain gender, even the law. So if you are not performing your Salah on time you're missing them regularly, when at least stop with one or two or three and make it part of your life. Don't focus on anything else. But focus on perfecting your Salah on time

00:08:06--> 00:08:46

and insha Allah it will become part of your habit and your life. So that is the second most important part or strategic plan, making sure out of Hades in tech. The second thing is to make sure our Salah is our Salah, and the other four are, are intact. The third part on the strategy to attain Jana is now to do beyond the basics. And the one who really once you go beyond this is we almost pantalla becomes close to us and Emma loves us is when we do that extra above the Ferrari and the Prophet Sonam says so how do we mean when we start there's so many sooner to do there's so many extra fasting extra charity extra Salah to do extra because he knows panela when you take a book of

00:08:46--> 00:09:21

two hours you think how do I how can I be so seldom recite all these two hours in the day it's it's it's mind boggling. And so then once I start to become overwhelmed, we only can emulate his lifestyle as much as possible. And then a B sub c is that the most beloved de to Allah the deeds which Allah loves the most and the ones that are going to count the most are those that are done regular and consistently even if they are little so don't take on a lot of sooner a lot of now I feel that we can only do for you know a few days or a few weeks and the spiritual high and then everything gets lost off there after a few weeks and span Ramadan is maybe like that we decide so

00:09:21--> 00:09:54

much for and during Ramadan after Ramadan Very little is carried over. But what we should be doing is we should be doing one action. So look at the sooner Sudan an abuser Look at his you know, different acts of worship and say, you know, I'm going to take one action, and I'm going to make that this is going to be my sooner that if it's charity, you know, maybe finally you might say look, I'm going to make sure that every day I'm going to give someone a slice somebody and I will do that every single day. No matter how tired I am no matter if it's weekend or during the week where I have exams. This is going to be my sooner and I'm going to be steadfast on that one. I'm going to take a

00:09:54--> 00:10:00

certain chapter of the Quran or certain surah certain page and I will recite this all the time.

00:10:00--> 00:10:37

And of course, within the pseudonym, or in the tradition of enemies of Islam, there are certain habits, which we know are small in deeds, they, they take a little time, but they have big rewards. And we shared this many, many times and I shared regularly. It's called the shortcuts to Jannah simple deeds that give massive returns, you know, and so for example, that very famous Hadeeth when we saw that went out for budget, his wife joy area, or mother, she was sitting on the masala and she was making cider. And then when I came back just before the word, she was still on the masala making the kind of making soda. And so then I said to her, were you sitting like that all the time? Were

00:10:37--> 00:11:15

you basically on the masala this entire time since I've been gone? And she says, Yes, I've been like this all the time. So then a visa Salaam says Should I not tell you about something which if you recited this, you know if you decided these three things, it would have been better for you when spending all this time on the masala and so he said I recited four words that is more rewarding than all these hours you spend on the masala and so he said those words are Subhanallah behind the other holiday he was in Adagio with Erica you might say Praise be to Allah equal to the number of his creatures, I praise you Allah equal to all your creation. And I praise you a lot equal to the weight

00:11:16--> 00:11:52

of your arch. And I praise you Allah equal to the ink it will take the amount of ink it will take to write your words. And I praise you Allah equal to the amount of majesty and pleasure that you have with yourself for words takes you 30 seconds. He said, I said these four words and Allah gave me more you would then you sitting here all these hours doing other Africa. And so then Ibiza Salaam wants us to look at the quickest, easiest, most successful shortcut to gender, and social shade those lists that those list of shortcuts for you. Again, it's not about doing all of them, how many of you can do all of them, but it's rather take one and to say this is going to be my my sooner that

00:11:52--> 00:12:29

I'm going to uphold every single day and I'm going to be consistent in that. And that is really what is what the reason is is encouraging us. So that is step number. So after the tauheed surah. Number three is trying to do something extra, regularly and consistently. Number four is about reoccurring returns or reoccurring, the sooner a reoccurring actions, one realizes that even you even other most pious of the earlier, there's only so much Salah that you can do on how much they can you can do how much charity you can do before you pass away life is finite, eventually, we will die and our books will be closed and there's no more solid that you can use. And so it's almost like we have a limit

00:12:29--> 00:13:07

by which we cannot go beyond the ease however certain needs and and this is where we'll talk about Sonico jharia, there are certain rewards that continue even after we pass away. That is a perpetual, we've left something behind in the dunya that continues to live on after we pass away. And recall that as we see this article Julia, in the very famous Hadith that evisa salaam basically categorized this article God He said, when a man dies, all of his deeds come to an end except three things, a charity, and there's something physical house, MSG, a well something physical a hospital that he left behind, by which people animals, anything of creation benefited from it the three, then he gets

00:13:07--> 00:13:42

a reward so long as that sadaqa pertains, or he left behind some knowledge, you know, he taught somebody something, and someone then continue to use it and that person taught someone else. And that continued off the men's panel up of a simple select majority, I share with you the shortcuts to Gen. Now, you know if even if you don't follow those shortcuts, cheat with a friend, share it with somebody that might make benefit. I mean, you might not do any of those things on that list. But someone takes that list and they do something good. And you get rewarded just by passing on that knowledge, rather share some beneficial knowledge. When you know things that we mature about. Like

00:13:42--> 00:14:10

we said last week thing that we are not we don't know if it's truthful or false. We know all those things where if you don't share it, you're going to spend 20 years 20 million years and Jana and I don't share those kinds of things. So she beneficial knowledge. And of course, if you can't bolt something that will be a circle Giardia you can chain knowledge and at the very least as the abuses a pious child who continues to pray for you, and be a good parent, and May Allah grant our kids to continuously to remember us, and they do offer us even after we pass away, I mean

00:14:11--> 00:14:49

and so this is the fourth strategic plan is to have in your, on your account some kind of cyclical progeria, and everybody needs to think about that, that if I were to die today, you know, how did I even if I lived the good life, does my account come to an end today? Or is the something that will outlive me, and so make a point to be part of something that will continue after you pass away with Neela if you look at the last four things, these are all things between you and Allah subhanaw taala you know, though hate worshipping Allah alone, making Salah doing more Vicar in our field than a visa Sam tells us that part of being a good Muslim and part of your successful strategy to attain

00:14:49--> 00:14:59

gender is not just you and Allah. It's how you treat the creation and your character. In fact, the resources there is nothing that is heavier on the day on the scale on left gamma, liquid characters.

00:15:00--> 00:15:36

Allah, meaning, the one who has good character will attain a status by which the one who forced and praise the novices or even more than that, that you can attain Jana, you can attain the highest levels of gender, just by being good to the people around you. In another Hadith says, The person with the most perfect of a man is the one who has the best character, and the best of them is the one who is best to his wife's panela. So instead of doing 1000s, and 1000s of cars, and giving millions and millions and charity, all you need to do is to be good and nice to your wife, speak to her nicely make her happy, have good character, the people around you to say that it's not just a

00:15:36--> 00:16:11

tweet to be seen. But for the your co workers, your colleagues, your your employees, your employees, to say that this man, this woman has never said anything hurtful against me, and they were genuinely a good person, there is nothing that's going to count heavier on your portfolio than being a good person in terms of your character, another Hadith, which, which really tells us the power of good character, and abuse instances, shall I not tell you about something that is even better than extra fasting and better than extra salt as soon as Sora and beta the extra sadaqa? And they said yes, yes. Well, what is it that is better than all of this? What is more rewarding than all of that? He

00:16:11--> 00:16:48

said, reconciling between people, in times of dispute, you are the one that brings peace, when things aren't the cases and people are fighting, you are the glue that keeps people together. When your family's falling apart. You are the one that means bridges, the swan Allah is something which is going to count, you know, not even like gold, it's going to count more than sooner good deeds that you could do, as Han Allah, make it part of your life to be to be a person with good, polite character speak to people well, even when they speak harshly to you, don't do it for them, do it for yourself. But this is going to attain my agenda, after we've done those things, and those are all

00:16:48--> 00:17:23

things that we should do you maintain your domain, you make sure that you do the follow it you do the Easter's you do select progeria, you know, you implement good character in your life, we should also be aware that there are certain things which can destroy our portfolio, there are certain things we must avoid, because if we fall into it, it can ruin our portfolio. And so there are certain things which are so bad, they completely nullify I call them the 90 fires, they wipe out all the good deeds that you do. And of course, the worst of them is shake when I was this, and it was already revealed to you and to those before you. If you commit to children rather than if you

00:17:23--> 00:18:02

associated any with worship besides Allah, then all your works will become null and void. And you will be among the losers Pamela there are people that just because of a little bit of shape, just because they wore some you know amulet around the neck just because they went to someone to ward off some evil, all the solder all the first thing that they did was wasted spinal, one little bit of Sheik Can you know Allah subhanaw taala will not admit anyone into Jana, if they have even the slightest bit of shape on the account. So avoid, she'll completely she is the one thing to worship in you and besides Allah to turn to anyone in worship, besides Allah will nullify all your good

00:18:02--> 00:18:34

deeds. And this is the biggest loser on the day of karma, the person who did so much of effort on the dunya, but he turned to others in a bit of worship. And so Allah nullify his account attached to that it's not just about chill, there are other things which can nullify your account. We know that Hadith of the man who is bankrupt. And this is the person really who did a lot of good deeds in terms of fasting and Salah, but he was a terrible person with the people around him. And so on the day of karma, there'll be a queue of people to have a count against him for all the harmful things he said to them added to them. And slowly he has to give up all his good deeds, until SubhanAllah.

00:18:34--> 00:19:10

All his good deeds, his or his life of good deeds is wasted, is used up is given away to pay these people. And then he still has people that he has harmed. And he's not taking lessons on why he takes the Zener he takes the How long have they used to do and the time that they need to spend in Jan number years in Jannah goes to him. And so don't be like the ruthless, the banker person who nullifies his good deeds because he looks down on others and he really is a danger to have a type of spiritual pride. And this is the son of a police that you have maybe a very close relationship with Allah in terms of your ibadah Masha Allah, but when you look at others, this in your mind, that's a

00:19:10--> 00:19:44

sinner, and that person doesn't wear hijab and that person's beard isn't long enough and that person you know, I never seen in the masjid so I'm better than them and I speak to them how I want to inspire Allah in doing so you are ruining yourself you are ruining yourself or you remind people of the good that you use. I know that's another nullifier that you got the one that gives charity, Masha Allah you do a lot of good deeds in the community, but you make a point of everybody knowing the good deeds that you do. And in so doing, you are like you're burning all your all your all your good deeds with Allah is being thrown away my Allah protect. So those are the modifiers they

00:19:44--> 00:20:00

completely wipe out the good efforts that you do. And of course number seven that we need to avoid our son. Now we can never avoid sin completely. We're only human beings and we all commit sin, but we can also pantalla a differentiated between the major sins and the minuses. Them

00:20:00--> 00:20:33

lessons are many. I mean, it's an endless list of minuses, but there are only a few some of them I have made it 70 and sometimes it's 50 some I've seen you know even less than that. There they are the Kaabah if the big ones and other ones that are you know, we can think about them We almost most of us know them already. They are mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah. Those ones that have a penalty attached to me Xena drinking wine, murder, stealing, you know, maybe some that we even overlook, like backbiting these are major sins and Allah says in which they will cover you know, Martin horn and Luca Frankel's the article that Allah says that and this is a really a gift from Allah. He says

00:20:33--> 00:21:12

that if you avoid the the major sins, so there's a list of 70 big sins, don't do any of those sins. And if you come to Allah with no major sins, that Allah says, we will remove completely all your minuses and we promise you indigena so this is an amazing strategy that for someone who doesn't do a lot of good deeds maybe you don't do all the XML often, but you say a lot I worship you alone, I do the compulsory things in terms of my Salah I don't hurt anybody. I'm a you know, a basic person. I'm not the best of people, but I'm not the No one can say I hurt them, you know, and I avoid the major sense I don't go out drinking, I didn't sleep around. I don't I'm still on my money is basically

00:21:12--> 00:21:48

Hello. I live a very basic life. This is a beautiful person. And Allah says if you come to Allah on the Deaf, gamma without any of the major sense, in all the little sins, looking at something Haram, saying something hot, I'm listening to something how you don't dressing appropriately yet, and they allow wipes out all those sins in the lab. We're not saying any of those things are small. We're saying and we don't belittle our sins, even the smallest of of sins are serious, but they are major sins. And if we avoid those major sins that Allah promises, he will wipe out those small sins, no matter how many they are out of his mercy. And so this is an important part of the of the roadmap,

00:21:48--> 00:22:24

ensure we have not committed any major sins. Now the next step someone might say, but I already committed a major. So maybe in my youth, I was a bit naughty, I drank something I shouldn't have I did some act, I shouldn't have. Allah subhanaw taala allows us while we're alive to compensate for those things, so the earth those things called you know, compensators that I call them, there are certain things even without us asking Allah Subhana Allah, Allah puts those things in our path that wipes out our sins. And we know that anyone who goes through hardship in life, the Hadith, whoever is tired, feels exhausted, depressed grief, any you know, anyone who has that Monday blues, anyone

00:22:24--> 00:23:01

who has any kind of harm or difficulty in his life, even to the point where you, you know, you pick your foot on the phone, then allow quality move your sense. So while we are committing sins, and we do wrong, Allah subhanaw taala out of his mercy, he removes our sins through the challenges in life. And so one of the beautiful ways of actually making your tuner your strategy, a passive kind of income, is a passive kind of rewards is whenever you go through some hardship in life, and we've been going through so much hardship, so much stress and, and difficulties this past few weeks and months, take it with patients and take it with chicken with Allah subhanaw taala. And that will wipe

00:23:01--> 00:23:34

away all those sins as we're going through those the hard days or less part of the Allah will compensate us for that. And so this is one way of getting closer to Allah. And the last thing and this is perhaps the most important thing of all, that no matter how good we do good deeds we do, no matter how much sun we avoid no damage, though, when is the fire we make, then it's still not going to be enough. We know the idea that no one is going to attain Jana, through the deeds or other will only attain Jana through the mercy of Allah. And ultimately, no matter how good our strategies and how good we execute that strategy, you will never ever be enough. But what we do put our hope in and

00:23:34--> 00:24:08

our faith in is in Allah's mercy. And there's many, many Hadith about the mercy of Allah one had a very, very long Hadith. It's a high piety and I asked you all to, to actually go and research the full Hadith about Allah speaking to the people on the deaf gamma, but one section of what's panatela it's mentioned, and maybe some mentions that, you know, people will be off to the question if someone goes to Jan Nam, when the believers will be crossing over the ciroc the bridge over jandals man, Allah protect us all of us will have to pass over this is very dangerous breach, and those who are very good, they will cross the bridge and they won't fall into Gangnam. As for some believers,

00:24:08--> 00:24:42

and many believers will protect us, they committed sin. And so they will have to spend some time in Ghana. And so many believers, many people who could wet the head in their heart, they will be in gentlemen, and then those who are saved. Now look at this. How do you know businesses, those who will save them are going to Jenna, before they get growth agenda. They say Oh Allah, our brothers in janome they are those people there are people in Ghana who are brothers and we I vouch for him that he used to make sola and he used to fast with us and they were with us and I used to remember him he the good deeds, you know, I'm always the in the in the in Jannah Yeah, Allah He says I'm a witness

00:24:42--> 00:24:59

for him. And then Allah will say to the believers, go into janam and take out anyone who's hot has equal to a gold Queen of a man go to janam and look for anyone that you can recognize as a as a good person and take them out of Jannah and so that will be done. And then Allah will say

00:25:00--> 00:25:39

again to them go in and take anyone out to as EMA equal to half a gold coin. And then Allah will say and then go in and go back again. Take out anyone who has an atom's weight of Imam, anyone who has any goodness that you can recognize he did one good deed in his life. Go and take him out so long as he did not come and check it again, goes all the way back to anyone who has no shake on his account, but he's done just, you know, it's one of the smallest of good deeds take him out off of janam. When that happens, the professor says, at that point, then abies the Gambia had interceded ask Allah for his mercy, the angels had interceded for the for the centers. Even the believers have now interceded

00:25:39--> 00:26:18

people have have asked Allah for his mercy. Then Allah will say, Now after all of you have interceded now remains my indecision. Now. Allah's mercy is what remains. And then Allah subhanaw taala in His Majesty in a way before His Majesty, you will pull out of janam a handful of people who also burnt they are, you know, unrecognizable and spawn. What if we think the previous group had an atom's weight of good in their hearts, Allah will take up people who had almost no good in them, they had a life completely committing of some, the only thing that we can say about them as perhaps they did not come a chick and then Allah will remove them from Jana. And so from this, no matter how

00:26:18--> 00:26:56

weak we are, how bad Our strategy is how deficient we are, we have a lot of hope in the mercy of Allah subhanaw taala that if anyone did any kind of good deeds with a lot, any little good deeds, and he did not come a chick, then the evening that Allah subhanaw taala will compensate that person with Jana mama grant as his mercy and His forgiveness and grace gentle for those before we conclude two announcements one very happy and one very sad. We started with the sad news that our mm hmm Hashem Sally was a longtime support and worried of the brand was our movement was the chairperson of so many, many organizations and men but mostly for many years he has passed away in LA when he

00:26:56--> 00:27:30

nailed it when he was very close to us. And we thank Allah for blessing him with a passing on your mojo Mr. manleigh admit him into general for those who pardoning will be sins and malice pantalla Grande, Southern to humanity's family. And then we also would like to announce that hamdulillah next week in sha Allah, if the curve continues to fall when the masjid will be open for our Juma of the many weeks of being closed as well Islam will be open for Juma and we remind you that there are of course protocols only 50 people will be allowed. 00:27:30--> 00:27:55

course you know by now that you need to come with your masks and you need to come that we do facilities are closed and you need to come with your masala and of course that if you are if you have any comorbidities or you have any symptoms of being sickly, please do not attend imagine and don't put anyone at risk.
