rescue the broader world from the mayhem, from the turbulence it is
experiencing. But Allah forbid, the formula is on our bookshelves.
The formula is on the tongues of orators. The formula is in our
masajid, if only you and I can stand up to the test of time and
revive the exemplary character of the NABI of Allah and manifest the
impeccable character qualities of the NABI of Allah, sallAllahu,
sallam, you will see what magnetic impact This will have on the
broader world, and this is what I want to speak about today. In a
few days, we will be entering into the blessed month of Rabbi UL
awwal, being the blessed month wherein we speak about the NABI of
allah sallallahu Salem. In this few minutes that we have, I just
want to share with you, in the light of Quran and Sunnah, some
narratives, by virtue of which I will narrate to you some incidents
to see how the life of the NABI of Allah had impacted on those
individuals whose hearts were the most hearts. He had managed to
change the hearts of those who used to bury their daughters
alive, and he made them guiding stars for humanity. Till the day
of payamah, the first Hadith I quote before you, appears in
tabrani, the rabbi of Allah, sallAllahu wasallam. He exits from
the room of one of his honorable wives, and with him was Ali bin
Abi a Talib Radi Allahu, talaan Ho for atahu, rajulun Allah,
rahilatihi kal Badawi. Suddenly, there was a person who advances to
the NABI of Allah. He was mounted on his conveyance, and he appeared
to be a Bedouin, and he looks at the NABI of Allah, and he said, Oh
Muhammad, sallAllahu, sallam, I have invited my nation to Islam.
They have accepted my message. I have promised them material
prosperity, by the will of Allah, Waka ASA Batum, sanatun, by the
will of the Almighty Allah, they have been gripped by famine and
drought. Do you have any funds at your disposal, by virtue of which
I could keep them in Islam for Aksha? A yah, ruju mean, Al
Islami, Tama, ah, kama, daha, lufi, Tama, ah, I'm afraid this
current condition of theirs must not have an impact on them. They
entered into Islam passionately. It must not happen. Then they exit
from Islam very quickly. Abu Muhammad, do you have any money at
your disposal. Nabi Ali Salam looked at alibi Nabi Talib Ali or
the Allahu Anhu salabi of Allah, the funds are depleted. We've got
absolutely nothing. Just then, there was a gentleman who appears
before the NABI of Allah, sallAllahu. He was salam na.
He was a Jewish rabbi. His name was Zayd ibn sochna. My brothers.
Listen to this. He says, O Muhammad Sallallahu, alaihi
wasallam, I see you are in need of money. I am prepared to loan you
money for a period of time on two conditions. Number one is, you pay
me back in the form of dates. Don't give me cash. You pay me
back in the form of dates. And number two, pay me on a stipulated
date, a date and a day, agreed by both you and I. Nobody. Ali Salam
said, it's a done deal. I will pay you back in dates and I will pay
you back on a certain day. He takes the money and he gives it to
the NABI of allah sallallahu. He was salam Nabi Ali. Salam takes
this money and he gives it to this Bedouin, and he said, distributed
with fairness and equality to your people and keep them in Islam.
This Bedouin then left zad Ibn sochna, the Jewish rabbi. He
parted ways. Time passed on. Fast forward the incident one day prior
to the schedule payment date. I gave you the reference, tabrani,
one day prior to the scheduled payment date, the Zayd ibn sochna,
this Jewish rabbi, he comes from the rear, and he harshly grabs the
garment of the NABI of allah sallallahu sallam. And he says,
You Quraysh, you have a reputation of prolonging payments. O Muhammad

because of your harshness and your attitude, you have compounded the
problem. You have exacerbated the issue. Take this man, this Jewish
rabbi, and give him what, what we owe him. Not only that, give him
an added amount. My brothers, where do you find this character
today? So Omar Radi Allahu, talaanu. He says, as I was
walking, this Jewish rabbi looks at me and he says, Omar, you know,
who am I? So Omar looks at him, and he says, I don't know you, and
I don't wish to know you. I don't know you, and I don't wish to know
you. A man like you, raises his voice in front of the NABI of
Allah, sallAllahu, sallam. He said, Oh, Omar, let me tell you.
Who Am I? I am Zayd ibn a sochna. I am one of the wealthiest
individuals in Madinah Tul munawara. Let me tell you. Who am
I? He says I have studied the biography of Muhammad Sallallahu,
sallam, and I've closely monitored his movements, I say, beyond a
shadow of doubt. I was convinced that he is the final messenger of
Allah, but I had reservations in two qualities. I actually came to
test those two qualities, which I read in the divine Scriptures,
yes, by kohel muho jahala, that is forbearance surpasses his anger.
The more you incite him, the more composed he becomes, the more you
aggravate him, the more calm he becomes. Our Omar, I have actually
come to test those two qualities. I say, By Allah, by Allah, he has
passed with flying colors. Ashadhu, Allah, ILAHA, illallah wa
ashadhu, anna Muhammad and abduhu wa Rasulullah. I recite the
Kalima, and he said, Oh Omar.
I am the wealth one of the wealthiest individuals in Medina

individuals. Take half my wealth and give it to Muhammad and tell
him, this is for Islam. I don't need one cent in return my
brothers and my sisters. What did it take to impress a Jewish rabbi
of the beauty of Islam? It was the character of Muhammad Sallallahu.

our ancestry. I want you to hear me out, and if you want me to

will continue. If you ask me to abstain and refrain, we will give
up those qualities. Nabi Ali Salam looked at him and he said, What
are those five qualities you have heard from me? He says, You have
commanded us. Anok, Mina, bila, wamala, ikati, Waku, Tobi wa
rasulli, waqadri, hayri wa Shari min Allah, you have commanded us,
we should believe in the Oneness of Allah, believe in the angels of
Allah, believe in the books of Allah, and believe that good and
bad is from the side of Allah. Nabi Ari Salam asked him, What are
the five qualities you have heard from my message from my
companions, he said, amartana, your companions have commanded us
an ill Allah, ILAHA, illallah, WA Anaka, Abdul, who are rasala, JAL
Bayt in his Tata, elegi, sabila, your companions have commanded us
that we should believe in The Almighty Allah except you as the
final messenger. Discharge, Zakah, go on Hajj fast in the blessed
month of Ramadan. Nabi arisalama asked him, What are those five
qualities that you have inherited from your ancestry? What does he
say? Number one, Ashoka, ainda Raha was sabro Angel, Bala was
said the kofi, mawati, nileka, wa Rada Abu, mural, kada water ke
Shama Tai Leta, Allahu, Akbar. What does he say? Ashoka in the

Hosea FA bin Yaman, Hosea far and his father al Yaman were migrating
from makatul mukarrama to Medina Tul munawara. This migration
coincided with the Battle of Badr so the NABI of Allah was leaving
from Medina. Josefa and his father al Yaman left from makatul
mukarrama On the way to medinawa. As they exited from Makkah, Joseph
and his father, aliaman, were intercepted by Abu Jahl. Abu jahal
looks at Josefa, and he says, If I release you, you will go to
Medina. You will join the ranks of the Muslims in Medina. You will
march towards Badr, and you will fight against us in the Battle of
Badr. Hence we will not release your periods. Hosea Fabin Yaman,
after much negotiations, he looks at Abu Jahl, and he said, I give
you my words that release me, and I promise you we will not fight
against you in the Battle of Badr. Abu Jahl, somehow he was
convinced. He said, Okay, Hosea far, I will release you on
condition that you do not join the ranks of the Muslims and fight
against us in the Battle of Badr. He said, done deal. Joseph in
Yaman. He is then released by Abu Jahl when he comes to the
outskirts of Medina, the NABI of Allah is walking towards brother,
Josefa bin Yaman, he said, O Nabi of Allah, can I join you? Nabi Adi
Salam says, by all means. And as they are walking, listen to this,
my brother, as they are walking. Hosea Fabin Yaman, he taps the
NABI of Allah. He said, Could I have a moment? He says, My father
and I were migrating from Makkah to Medina, and we were intercepted
by Abu jahal. Abu jahal feared that we will join the ranks of the
Muslims and fight against him in the Battle of Badr. And I just
gave him my word just to appease him and to release myself from the
clutches of Abu Jahl. Can I join you read the narration my
brothers? Nabi Ali Salam looks who was Abu Jahl. He was the firaoun

Any person who will take the names of the Shuhada of Badr and make

are given? Abu Jahl, it is binding. My Nabi said, Al Ida,
today, noon, when you give a man your word, it's like a debt on
your shoulders. So what did he say? The qualities that were found
in the time of jahiliyya, gratefulness, to be patient, to be
honest. What rather abimurril kada, happiness on the bitter
choices of fate. Many a times, things would happen in your life
which are not appeasing and striking but to accept it. This is
the will of the Almighty Allah And number five, never dare to rejoice
on the tragedy of any person in the world. Don't read.

looked at Al kama he said, What can I tell you? Fukaha, udaba,
Kadu ayaku No ambiya, those who possess those 15 qualities, they
possess the attributes of ambiya and prophets. Nabi Ali Salam gave
him a broad smile, and he said, O alkama, those are your 15
qualities. Let me give you another five, and you have the best of
both the worlds. Number one, la tejma, o malat, o
al Kamal. My first advice to you is, do not gather so much that you
would never live to eat. Number two, la tabanu Mala telun, don't
build so many dwellings that you will never live in and reside
there in. Number two. Number three, la Tena fasu, FEMA anhu,
Kadan te don't vie and compete with one another in things that
you would leave behind tomorrow. Number four, what the Kulla,
haladi, elehito Sharon, fear the Almighty Allah unto whom is your
ultimate return. And number five, incline towards those deeds that
will benefit you in your grave and the subsequent stages of deaths.
Allahu, Akbar, you know, Hassan Radi Allahu, talaanu, like we
spoke about peaceful coexistence, my brothers, we live in a non
Muslim country. We have co existed with other faiths. We live in
harmony. You know, the question we need to ask ourselves is, I
returned from the UK not long ago, and many a times you meet reverts
who come into the fold of Islam, and you ask them, What motivated
you, what inspired you, you know, to come into this beautiful
religion. You know, my brothers, my word Allah, Be my witness, my
heart cries. Many of them have said, I am grateful to the
Almighty Allah that I was first introduced to Islam before being
introduced to Muslims. I am grateful to the Almighty Allah
that I was first introduced to Islam before being introduced to
Muslims. If my first introduction to Islam was via Muslims, I doubt
I would have accepted this beautiful religion, my brothers,
my message to you is, if you cannot become an ambassador to
Islam, do not become an obstacle. If you cannot become an ambassador

Allahu, Tala Anhu, the beloved grandson of the NABI of Allah. He
walks into a garden and he sees a beggar, a slave, sitting on the
floor, and next to him is a dog. My brothers, we live on a common
planet. We share a common platform. The Nabi of Allah was
the NABI of not only the human kind, not only the jinn kind.
Today, they speak about animal welfare. My Nabi spoke about the
rights of animals. 1400 years ago, Hassan is sitting this beggar is
sitting on the floor, and the dog is next to him. He's got a slice
of bread in his hands, and this beggar takes the slice of bread
and he breaks it in two. He gives half to the dog and he eats the
other half. Hasan was moved. He looks at this beggar, and he said,
What prompted you, what motivated you to do this? You were hungry.
You could have eaten the slice of bread alone. What did he say?
Istahad ainaya mean Aina who he says, I had literally seen hunger
in the eyes of this dog. I could not, for the sake of me, eat the
slice of bread alone, knowing that there is another creation of Allah
that is going hungry. These were human beings. You know, Swan bin
omeya, the NABI of Allah, is herding a flock of goats and sheep
in the valley of Makkah. Sofwan bin umayya. He was very Muslim at
that time, and he was totally impressed. I mean, like, I always
say, my brothers, you know, somebody is driving a smart car,
and you find a youngster, you know, trying to walk around the
car. What do you tell him? Hey, listen, my boy, that's the
closest, don't touch. That's the closest you can get to my car.
Don't touch. You know, from a distance, he's fine.
Maybe. Adi salaam looked at Swan bin omaya. He said, you like what
you see. He said, Of course, I like what I see. Nabi. Adi salaam
said, don't just like it. You can have it. Don't just like it. I

how do you expect to fetch that price? He says, no, no one is the
price of the house. But more important than that, the man who
will move into my house will have the privilege of being the
neighbor of Abdullah bin Mubarak. When Abdullah bin Mubarak heard
about this, he was blown away. He comes to his neighbor and he said,
You know what, I'm impressed at your kind sentiment about me. I
mean, today, sometimes Muslims move into the neighborhood, the
prices go down, so Abdullah bin Mubarak looks at him, and he said,
How about me inviting you to Islam? He looks at Abdullah bin
Mubarak. He said, What can I tell you, the day you move next door, I
looked at your character. I became a Muslim.
The day you moved next door, I looked at your character, I became

a few narratives I will end shortly, the NABI of Allah
migrates from Mecca to Medina, the journey of Hijra. We all know this
narrative Nabi Ali Salam. It was a secretive journey with divine

journey was not the intention of dawah. It was a secretive journey,
very discreetly the NABI of Allah departed from Makkah to Medina,
but study the narrations every step of this journey, people were
attracted to Islam. They accepted Islam suraq, the man who was
tempted, would 100 camels as he approaches the NABI of Allah, the
earth split, and his animals started sinking into the earth.

me. Maybe arisalam said, You're forgiven. He then comes closer. He

Jahl, I promised you this man, Muhammad, accept Islam, accept the

of this ummah. At the conquest of Makkah, he flees from Mecca, and
he boards onto a ship. And the ship was about to sink, and peep,
he starts turning to his deity. So people on the ship tell him,
ikramah, here your deities won't help you. You have to turn to the
true Allah. Like they say in English, there is no atheist or a
sinking ship. Oh, my God, there is no atheist on a sinking ship. So
in the center of the ocean, ikramah, he picks up his hands, he
said, Oh May Allah, I promise you, if you grant me deliverance and
crisis, when I go back to land, I will pledge my allegiance to Islam
and to Muhammad. Ikramah was the son of Abu jahal was the firaoun
of this ummah. His wife comes to the NABI of Allah, and she said, I
want to be of Allah. My husband, ikrama, he fled from Makkah,
fearing that you will kill him. I have come to ask you forgive my
husband. Nabi Ari Salam. Do not say I will think about it. One
word, who Amin, I have forgiven him. I have forgiven him this.
Ikramah, when he comes back to shore, his wife embraces him, and
she says, don't delay the matter. Allah's Nabi has forgiven you.
Ikramah, he comes in front of Muhammad, sallAllahu sallam, and
he said, My wife claims to say you have forgiven me. Nabi Ali Salam
says, the claim of your wife is correct? He said, such wrongs I
have done to you and Islam. He said, Indeed, you are the NABI of
Allah. He said, Oh Muhammad, make dua for me. Nabi alaihi salam
picks up his hands in dua, Oh Allah, forgive this man for every
hatred he displayed to me and Islam. Forgive him every time he
tried to extinguish your light and the light of Islam, it comes in
the narrations the same ikramah. He started sobbing and crying. He
said, Oh, Muhammad, I've done such wrong to you, but still you have
it in your heart to forgive me. Indeed you are going to be of
Allah, my brothers, multitudes of examples we make dua to the
Almighty Allah. Allah grant us the Taufik and the ability that we
take lessons like I said, we coexist. Let us live in harmony
with one another. We share a common platform on Mother Earth,
in your home, in your marriage, in your business, in your workplace,
in your community, show people the beauty of Islam. If you cannot
become an ambassador, do not become an obstacle to Islam, we
make dua to the Almighty Allah. Allah grant us the Taufiq and the
ability that we imbibe these amazing advisors of Quran and
Sunnah. And once again, it's an absolute honor and a privilege,
you know, to visit you in this beautiful masjid. And I would just
like to thank the trustees and the board and the aim, you know, for
once again, inviting us Inshallah, if Allah grants us life, we will
visit you again. Wamba, ali na il al balaq.
