Respected viewers,
we bring to you episode 15. We discuss
the 15 Jews of Quran Kareem and perhaps
1 or 2 salient points that we can
take from this particular Jews of Quran Kareem.
In the opening verses of Surah Bani Israel,
Alhamdulbarahu Wa Ta'ala speaks about that amazing journey
of Isra wal Mi'raj.
When Alhamdulbarahu
Wa Ta'ala says,
glory be to the being who took his
abd, who took his slave.
Why the word slave?
In the eyes of Allah the more we
humble ourselves, the more we subjugate
ourselves,
the greater, the closer our position.
Our closer, closer our position with Allah Tabarakawa
Ta'ala. In the surah, Allah Tabarakawa Ta'ala speaks
about
this beautiful
amazing incident of Isra wal Me'raj.
It is our belief as the ahlusunna wal
jamaa.
This was a physical ascension,
the journey from Makkatul Mukarramah
to Masjid Aqsa, this is known Al Isra.
And from Masjid Aqsa up to the 7
heavens and beyond,
that part of the journey is known as
Al Mi'raj.
What was the Nabi of Allah blessed with
on this journey? He was blessed with 5
daily salah.
5 daily salah.
Salah is not a burden,
wallahi it is there to comfort the heart,
to comfort the soul. The Nabi of Allah
used to tell Bilal,
That O Bilal, call out the Adhan
and give us contentment
through the salah. Ibn Al Qayim Al Josi
says,
For the servant of Allah, there would be
2 opportunities when he stands before the Almighty
Allah. 1 is on the day of Tayama,
but the second opportunity,
the in fact, the first opportunity
is that when you stand before the almighty
Allah
in salah
and with the heart and the mind is
directly attentive to Allah. Like on Mi'raj,
every veil, every barrier
between Allah and his Nabi was removed.
Allah is directly attentive to him. You stand
in front of Allah
and you say Alhamdulillahi
rabbilalameen.
On every statement
Allah is responding,
The doors of Jannatah
open. So in the surah,
speaks about the amazing incident
of Mi'raj.
The after in
this in this Jews speaks about a pertinent
aspect and that is the obligation
that we owe to our parents. Allah in
great detail says that not only whilst they're
alive, but even after your parents have passed
on.
That, Omay Allah, you show mercy on my
parents
like they were they were merciful upon me
whilst I was young. Wallahi, this is a
topic
that requires much discussion.
Unfortunately today it's a splight in the ummah.
It's a sad reality
where children
are disobedient
to their parents. Once Sahabi came to the
Nabi of Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and he
said, oh Nabi of Allah, I've carried my
mother on my back for 6 miles.
In such heat that if someone had to
take a piece of flesh and throw it
on the ground, it would have melted within
seconds.
Have I perhaps done justice to the kindness
of my mother? Nabi'ari Salaam said, what you
have done is not equivalent
to a fraction of what pain your mother
experienced
when she had given birth to you.
What you have done is not equivalent to
a fraction of what pain your mother experienced
when she had given birth to you. So
respected viewers, we beg the almighty Allah, when
we study the narrations
on these great occasions whether it's the 15th
night of Shaaban,
whether it's Laylatul Qadr, this this blessed month
of Ramadan,
the Nabi of Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam the
famous hadith, he ascended the pulpit he said
Ameen.
2nd step, he said, Amin. 3rd step, he
said, Amin.
He said, Jibril made du'a. One of those
duas was, may Allah distant that person from
his mercy who finds either one or both
of his parents,
and he does not enter Jannah through serving
his parents. We beg the Almighty Allah
to grant us the ability that we could
serve our parents right up to the last
moments. Perhaps you may ask the question, if
your parents have passed on, what can we
do for them? The best thing to do
is initiate
Sadaqatul
Jaria,
some form of reward. Go to such a
place where people are living in abject poverty
and dig a well and make water available
to those who do not have water on
the name of your deceased parents.
Allah will grant them the reward. We ask
Allah to bless our parents and we ask
Allah to grant us the ability that we
could serve our parents and we could enter
Jannah through serving our parents. Insha'Allah, till we
meet you again tomorrow. Assalamu alaikum. Warahmatullahi.
