			Bismillah

00:00:03 --> 00:00:08
			Alameen wa Salatu was Salam ala Sayidina Muhammad. He was

00:00:10 --> 00:00:15
			a lot of them are aluminum and Fernando and finally marlington I was even some Anika Lachman

00:00:17 --> 00:00:24
			came along on my own health outcomes are connected, but I didn't What I didn't know about the law
was

00:00:26 --> 00:00:30
			respected brothers and sisters for Salam aleikum wa rahmatullah heeta Allah.

00:00:32 --> 00:00:35
			I would like to welcome all of you

00:00:37 --> 00:00:43
			to this webinar, organized by Albula. Academy

00:00:44 --> 00:00:50

00:00:53 --> 00:01:03
			Hamdulillah this webinar is a very important webinar, loving the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam peace and blessings be upon him.

00:01:04 --> 00:01:17
			In which we want to learn how to love the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him in order to
achieve contentment, tranquility and success in this world and in the hereafter. Inshallah, so this

00:01:18 --> 00:01:24
			webinar is a very important webinar. And hopefully we can discuss some very, very important issues.

00:01:26 --> 00:01:38
			I don't want it to be, it's a lecture there's no slides, but not just, I want to talk about certain
things from certain aspects that are probably like important in our day to day life.

00:01:41 --> 00:01:42
			Now,

00:01:43 --> 00:02:34
			this webinar is more or less a introduction, or prologue to a course, on the spirit of the
messenger. So my name is Salim, and this is why this is like introductory lecture, initial
introductory lecture to talk about this topic, and why it's important to learn about the messenger
sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And how we can connect the love of Allah's Messenger sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam, with our day to day life, and specifically, how we can acquire and achieve contentment
and tranquility in our lives. To start off with, there's a saying, in English. I don't even know if
this is saying same, but it's the same. What I mean by that is that, I don't know if this is a

00:02:34 --> 00:02:44
			proper saying somewhere, but I made it up many, many years ago and you might actually be someone
saying, I don't really know but I kind of ended up so maybe I started somewhere I'm not sure but

00:02:46 --> 00:02:55
			the thing is, knowing him is to love him. And loving him is to follow

00:02:56 --> 00:03:12
			knowing him is to love him and loving him is to follow him. Repeat time. The time knowing him is to
love him and loving him is to follow.

00:03:13 --> 00:03:27
			I mentioned three things love, sorry, no love, follow. Knowing him is to love him loving Him is the
following. If you take number three, the final ultimate part of the same.

00:03:30 --> 00:04:04
			We all know as Muslims, that we are duty bound by Sharia by Allah subhanaw taala and His Messenger
SallAllahu sallam, we are responsible that we have to follow the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam, what we call in Arabic it DEVAR or ITAR. The Quran tells us in clear terms on more than one
occasion, you Alladhina amanu clear Allah Rasool O you who believe, obey God, obey Allah, or they
have Rasul and obey the messenger.

00:04:05 --> 00:04:21
			And many other verses are my youth are a la hora Sula, who, actually another verse Rama ut Allahu
Allah Sunova called PhaZZer Fosun Avi Vemma. Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, will, indeed
attain success.

00:04:23 --> 00:04:34
			Great success. And great success includes success of this life and success of the next life. And
success of this life is actually to do with the brain and the mind and the internal more than
anything else.

00:04:35 --> 00:04:47
			I mean, elaborate on this part later. That is to do with more with the mind in the brain. Because a
lot of people have misunderstood what success of this life is. I'll just mention this briefly now
and then elaborate on it later on.

00:04:49 --> 00:04:57
			If I say to you, for example, that you want to be successful in life, or anyone says, be successful
in life

00:04:59 --> 00:04:59
			you want

00:05:00 --> 00:05:16
			To be successful brother, sister, you want to be successful, make something out of your life, be
successful in your life. Most people, if not all of us, 99 point 99% of us. What comes to our mind,
success, something that's physical.

00:05:18 --> 00:05:54
			If we're saying successful in terms of your earnings and wealth, you think success means I have a
good paid job. I earn a lot of money, I'm able to provide for the family. That's what success is. I
have a car, I have a job I have, you know, like a house and earn lots of money, success in
education, I've got a degree, I'm a lawyer, I'm a doctor, I'm a barrister. I'm a philosopher, I'm an
accountant and whatever, whatever whatever, or success, I'm a scholar. Success. I'm not saying
that's not success. But it's not restricted to that that's not the only success.

00:05:56 --> 00:06:10
			Because success has a lot to do with the internal and specially the brain. And now modern research
is telling us a lot. How many people are externally successful, but their brains are messed up.

00:06:11 --> 00:06:29
			How many people are multimillionaires and filthy rich, but they are depressed at the lowest point of
their lives that they can ever imagine. The person earns so much money, but he commits suicide.
There was so many sports players. They were in there's been some in,

00:06:30 --> 00:06:31
			in the news in the media

00:06:32 --> 00:06:35
			had a professional sports career.

00:06:37 --> 00:06:49
			And what that entails in terms of earnings, like the person was earning and had earned something we
can't even imagine and think and see in our lives. That's how much they earn in a week.

00:06:51 --> 00:06:55
			They earn 250 to 300,000 pounds a week.

00:06:57 --> 00:07:02
			And many people don't even see 300,000 pounds in their entire life. This person is committing
suicide.

00:07:04 --> 00:07:07
			To cry successful, what's happened? Why is he committing suicide.

00:07:08 --> 00:07:16
			He's got family, he's got children, he's got all the things in there. It's gone. Internally, there's
no peace, there's no tranquility.

00:07:18 --> 00:07:30
			So we have to realize that success and salvation and goodness and prosperity, prosperity success or
prosperity

00:07:31 --> 00:07:41
			in this world is not restricted to the external. It's not restricted to what job you've got
externally how much money you're earning,

00:07:42 --> 00:07:46
			what position you have in society, what status you have

00:07:47 --> 00:07:48
			historic structure that

00:07:49 --> 00:07:55
			rather on the country, sometimes some people are actually poor.

00:07:56 --> 00:08:08
			Yet internally, they are more prosperous. Their internal is more prosperous. As someone who's very
rich, but can't sleep at night. He has to take 10 tablets, and medication to sleep.

00:08:09 --> 00:08:15
			distressed, super stressed, anxious, anxiety, mental health issues, all sorts of problems.

00:08:16 --> 00:08:50
			And as another person learned the basic minimum wage like so less money, but the guy goes home and
eats his nice Chowpatty and Wood and his vegetables and then as a cup of tea after that goes on his
bed and sleeping like eight hours okay, just relax wakes up in the morning pays for your summer has
a nice banana, you know and in the morning for breakfast and some fruit and then as a nice omelette
and egg and then it goes work and relaxing comes on as rice and afternoon. Just relaxed life, like
any learning small amount of money, internally is happy.

00:08:52 --> 00:09:18
			So prosperity and success does not necessarily mean external prosperity. And I was saying I'm going
to elaborate on this topic a bit more because we're talking about loving how the loving of the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam could lead us to achieve contentment and tranquility and success
in this world in the Hereafter. Remember, hereafter is there anyway. So that's going to be
elaborated later on.

00:09:20 --> 00:09:21
			But I was saying,

00:09:22 --> 00:09:23
			if you remember

00:09:24 --> 00:09:59
			I was mentioning the phrase, knowing him is to love him and loving him is to follow him. And I was
talking about following him. And I said everyone knows that in Islam we are responsible to follow,
obey the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi salam and I mentioned the verse of the Quran and this
is how I talked about this issue. I said, Allah says in the Quran, warmer you to Allah Havasu for
Codfather Fosun are Lima. Whoever obeys Allah and obeys His Messenger whoever follows his messenger
who

00:10:00 --> 00:10:48
			Over emulators, messenger, whatever follows in the footsteps of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam whoever loves the messenger of allah sallallahu sallam, then that person shall attain
prosperity and success. And this is what I meant. That's a success and prosperity here means the
mind prosperity, that if you obey Allah is messenger, you will have some peace in your heart. You
will have tranquility in your heart, you will have contentment in your heart. You will have so rule
internal peace. This is what you'll have. You might not have 2 billion pounds you might not have
100,000 pounds, you might not earn as much as someone else. But what you will have is internal

00:10:48 --> 00:10:58
			richness. You will have internal richness wealth of the knifes This is why the Hadith says basil
Elena and Catherine when Akindele arena has in enough's.

00:10:59 --> 00:11:03
			real richness is not richness in quantity of love.

00:11:04 --> 00:11:18
			real richness is a linen knifes so you you are rich in your soul, you are rich in your heart. And
that's what people are missing today. And they're missing the point. Because nowadays, the

00:11:20 --> 00:11:26
			you know how success and prosperity is measured is completely messed up.

00:11:27 --> 00:11:37
			That's what's happening. Because people have got their priorities wrong. They've misunderstood.
Everything is about numbers these days. It's all about quantity, external quantity.

00:11:38 --> 00:11:57
			Success means I've got this many followers on Facebook, on Twitter, this many fans on Facebook. This
many it's like it's crazy. What's that going to do to you? Like, that's got nothing to do with
success. So the Quran says yeah, Allah Munna Valhalla, manorhamilton, dunya. Apart, we look very
superficial, we're looking at a parent.

00:11:58 --> 00:12:16
			And we restrict and not saying these things are not important. They are important, of course, to an
extent, earning a livelihood and all of these things. But that's not prosperity, and sorry,
prosperity and happiness. And success is not restricted to that. That's my point. So anyway,

00:12:17 --> 00:12:24
			knowing him is to love him loving us to follow. So number three, I said, everyone knows that we have
to follow the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:12:26 --> 00:12:28
			But to follow Him is not easy. It's not.

00:12:32 --> 00:12:54
			It's not easy to follow anyone. We are stubborn beings as it is anyway, human beings, we are
stubborn. We all like to just do what we want to do. We have these character traits that we don't
want to listen to anybody else. We want to make our own decisions. The most difficult thing for a
human is to follow someone else and obey someone else.

00:12:56 --> 00:12:58
			You know, that's one of the most difficult things for human beings to do.

00:12:59 --> 00:13:06
			This is why nobody wants to listen to the parents. Children don't want to listen to the parents and
nobody wants to listen to anyone.

00:13:07 --> 00:13:27
			Nobody wants to take the opinion of other people, especially in this these times we're living in
where everybody is self opinionated, everyone's stubborn. What makes sense to me, makes sense to the
world. What makes sense to me is correct, regardless of the whole world where they say whatever
makes sense, what I understand that this is correct. And that's it, this is only correct, nothing
else is correct. So

00:13:28 --> 00:13:41
			for us, because religion is all about a Buddha, religion is all about slave hood. This is what faith
and religion is. Religion makes you humble, supposed to make you humble. Religion is basically

00:13:42 --> 00:14:27
			making a person such that being from being self opinionated, from being a person of stubbornness
from being somebody who's selfish, who only thinks about him or herself and just does what he or she
thinks and wants to do. To someone who says no, actually, I depend on someone else. That's what
religion is. You become an ardent slave of Allah subhanaw taala. Islam means submission. So Islam
means that you stop becoming self obsessed, self opinionated, stubborn, and you stop doing what you
want to do. And do what Allah wants you to do. This is what religion is. There's lots of things we
want to do. We might want to steal. You might want to commit Zina, you might want to bank bank, you

00:14:27 --> 00:14:59
			might want to do this. A lot of things. This feels good and drink a beer, whiskey, drink alcohol do
this and do that and swear at someone killed someone be jealous, you know, hate someone. I want to
do these things. And this is why when someone doesn't practice religion, what we call half love
applies you just don't care about Allah, you just do what you want to do, basically, that's
heedlessness hafla. Like you just live a life of whatever your desires, whatever you feel like
doing, you do it that's called disobedience to God and obedience to God is you do that

00:15:00 --> 00:15:31
			Which you don't feel like doing because of God, I want to do this. Now I can't do this because I am
a slave of my god and Allah, I am a slave, I submit to Allah. So, at every point of my life, I am
not someone who makes his or her own decisions. I see what God tells me. I am dependent on Allah and
His messenger. sallallahu alayhi salam. So this is what Islam means. That's the meaning of Islam
submission.

00:15:32 --> 00:15:32
			So

00:15:34 --> 00:15:39
			following him, so following the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam emulating Him,

00:15:41 --> 00:15:49
			obeying Him. That's a requirement in Sharia. So I was saying that it's very difficult for a human
being to follow someone else.

00:15:51 --> 00:15:54
			If someone tells us that you know what, this is a person, obey this person.

00:15:55 --> 00:16:37
			Normally people you will say, Okay, why should I obey him? Does he pay me wages? Normally, in Santa
Fe, good. So there's only two times when someone will submit. In Arabic, there's a saying in son
habito Lexa human being becomes an ABD see you become an avid, same word out of someone who does
favours on you. There's only two ways. There's only two ways when people are going to submit to
another, or listen to someone or obey someone, or be submissive towards someone, there's only two
reasons. One is worldly. When someone does favors on you know, you get a person who's always giving
you money every month, and whatever, you know, you try to suck up to them, you will do things you

00:16:37 --> 00:16:55
			try to make them happy, you will do you will go and do things for them. Because you know that every
month 500 pounds are coming. Some rich person is giving you a lot of gifts. So you, you do a lot of
things that they want to do, or you will do it for your employer because they're paying you anyone
doing something giving you something in return,

00:16:56 --> 00:17:12
			you will submit to them and follow them and obey them. And the other reason is you obey again, even
in the other reason is also because of Exxon, but the other Obadiah is to God because God gave you
life.

00:17:14 --> 00:17:37
			Every Nirma that we have, we're breathing, we're drinking water, we are living. Everything around us
is an AMA gift from Allah subhanaw taala we are slaves of Allah. So there's only two reasons why
someone would listen to someone else. Either because there's some favors being done, or because you
think this person is my Lord and this being is my Lord and Allah and you know am submitted to my
God.

00:17:38 --> 00:18:08
			So, it is very difficult normally for human beings. So if some random person if I tell you that, you
know this brother here, whatever he says, to just follow, you will say why is it giving me wages? Is
it giving me gifts? Like why do I have to follow him for him like, well, who is he? Why do I have to
follow him? He's not my god. He's not my messenger, so there's no reason why you would follow. You
might say, Okay, I'll see if there's something good I like about that person, then I'll obey Him and
follow His ways. Something I don't like then I won't.

00:18:11 --> 00:18:29
			We have been told to emulate the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam follow his sunnah in
every aspect of life, everything that he does, but Canada conference hula hoops when Hassan for you
in the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi salam is a perfect role model and example.

00:18:31 --> 00:18:37
			We have been told to emulate him and follow him. Now the question is, why would we do that?

00:18:39 --> 00:19:25
			Impossible. We are not prepared to obey and follow anyone. Here we are being told to emulate and
follow and obey. Somebody called Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, we don't even see him now. At
least this person you're saying to me that you know I'm telling you follow this brother here or
listen to him or whatever he says. At least you can see him and you can see okay, this guy that
sound looks okay talks. Okay, guys, since we've been Skye, maybe I'll follow him. This is someone
that you can't even see. You might dream of him, but you can't see him in real life. You're not
interacting with that person. The Sahaba of the Allahu Anhu they were told, Oh Sahaba nobody's gonna

00:19:25 --> 00:19:33
			look confused or Sula who sweat on Hassan. Oh companions for you in this messenger Muhammad
sallallahu alayhi salam is a practical example.

00:19:34 --> 00:19:45
			But who who follow him follow him. For them. It was easy, because for them it's like in real life.
Okay. Oh Allah, Who are you telling us to follow and obey and emulate

00:19:46 --> 00:19:59
			Muhammad? SallAllahu Lucena ah, who is there? Okay. Let's see. When he wakes up, what is he doing?
Okay, how does he sleep? How is he buying? How is it selling is going to the market. Whoa,

00:20:00 --> 00:20:18
			Um, this is amazing Assadi Amin so truthful so trustworthy. Look at the way he is buying look at the
way he's selling. Look how gentlest Look how he's treating small children. Look how he is with other
people. How is entering the Masjid? Look how he's talking to somebody else when they come with a
problem. How does he exit demolition?

00:20:20 --> 00:20:28
			Look I was eating Oh, that's an amazing way of eating. We're going to eat like that. So how did easy
because they saw Him every day

00:20:30 --> 00:21:02
			in Santa Monica and see they saw Him every day. This is a leopard Kyra comfy Rasulillah hippos,
water and a hustler for Sahaba meant something else. For us. It means something else which I'm going
to explain. But for them. It was a practical, visible, day to day role model. Oh, companions. He is
the role model every day, spend time with him. Go to the mosque with him, go to his house. Go in the
market with him. Talk to him, eat with him, sit with him.

00:21:03 --> 00:21:18
			Interact with him, converse with him, communicate with him. Give him a gift. Take a gift from him.
Ask him how to take a gift and how to give a gift. Talk to him about siblings and wives and parents
and children. Ask him about everything he is for you.

00:21:21 --> 00:21:25
			We have been told to obey this messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:21:26 --> 00:21:33
			okay? We have been told to obey this messenger Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.

00:21:34 --> 00:21:43
			But he does not exist physically amongst us. We don't see him in the morning. We don't see him in
the evening. We don't see him in the masjid. We don't see him in the market.

00:21:44 --> 00:22:02
			Okay, but we've been told him told to follow Him and obey Him and emulate him. So it's even more
difficult for us to answer what I'm trying to say there's two issues. What number one, we're already
stubborn as it is, we're not ready to follow anyone. And then if we say okay, it's a messenger. He's
not even we can't even see him.

00:22:03 --> 00:22:06
			Now, this third,

00:22:07 --> 00:22:15
			follow following him, this, this injunction, Allah is telling us that obey Him and follow Him and
emulate him. Because very, very difficult.

00:22:16 --> 00:22:27
			Because very difficult because we don't see the person number one and number two, we don't we're not
ready to prepare, we are not prepared to follow on obey somebody else. Why would why would we?

00:22:29 --> 00:22:32
			So it's a problem, isn't it? Therefore,

00:22:33 --> 00:22:54
			in order for us to be able to follow Him, in order for us to able to follow Him, we need something
before that. And that is what will make us follow and obey and emulate Allah's Messenger SallAllahu
Diana, it was said and what is that?

00:22:56 --> 00:22:57
			loving him?

00:23:00 --> 00:23:06
			loving Him now this is what we talk we're talking about this seminar is

00:23:07 --> 00:23:20
			what is it loving the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him? I was actually going to
talk about this part in the last half an hour and then you know, it's okay it's the other way around
now. Because this is the way how it's

00:23:22 --> 00:23:22
			appeared.

00:23:24 --> 00:23:25
			loving him

00:23:28 --> 00:23:55
			so we need this loving pot first. Why? Because even in today's world, I said we're already stubborn
we don't want to follow anyone because we're human beings. And you know we don't normally follow but
I said that you do follow someone with a couldn't we could have added another reason that because we
said we only follow someone because if someone's doing this favors, or another reason is when we
love someone.

00:23:56 --> 00:24:01
			Why do we love that person? Whatever reason, someone's in love with a girl some guys love with a
girl right?

00:24:04 --> 00:24:14
			We'll try to copy or imitate that girl and just try to make her happy and just do whatever she
wants. And we'll do that. Let's not say a guy with a goal husband wife had our relationship.

00:24:15 --> 00:24:17
			He must have all heard of this

00:24:18 --> 00:24:25
			famous two people, Madonna Leila. In our history, much known.

00:24:26 --> 00:24:40
			This much known his name was not much known by the way or people think his name was much don't much
no literally just linguistically basically means insane. crazy mad for the love of Leila. And Leila
wasn't also her name.

00:24:42 --> 00:24:47
			It's like Romeo and Juliet. So any two lovebirds

00:24:48 --> 00:25:00
			who become like, intuitive, you know? Start loving one another. They just call Madonna Leila.
Majnoon is anyone who goes crazy and mad. You could be the magician of the dunya you

00:25:00 --> 00:25:31
			could be much known of a woman you could be actually Leila then started becoming used for anything
that people obsess over. So it's not really a woman doesn't have to always be a woman. Leila could
be the dunya. So they say the dunya is the Laila for somebody. If someone's obsession is the wealth
money dunya then that person's Leila is the dunya. So Leila is referred to any one or any thing or
any item of the world that people crave for and is obsessed over.

00:25:33 --> 00:25:46
			So this person was known his name was emerald paste, actually, he was madly, madly, madly in love
with a woman. And then she was called Leila. And he would just go and circulate her house and

00:25:47 --> 00:25:52
			do anything for her. He used to go and even kiss the building

00:25:54 --> 00:25:56
			or the house that she was residing in.

00:25:57 --> 00:26:14
			Somebody asked him why do you do that? Why are you kissing the bricks and the stones? He said, A
Maru. Maru Allah Dre, Dre, Leila will Kabiru the legendary whether Judah or Marshall Gu Dr.
Schaffner Collopy. All I can hug bow and second idea.

00:26:15 --> 00:26:17
			I pass by

00:26:18 --> 00:26:21
			the walls of the house of Laila.

00:26:23 --> 00:26:35
			And I kiss this stone and I kiss that stone, I kiss this brick and I guess that brick will be to the
GRE whether Jada won or who Dr. Schaffner can be

00:26:36 --> 00:26:40
			the love of these bricks and these walls have not overtaken my heart.

00:26:42 --> 00:27:04
			I'm not in love with the building with the bricks were lacking hope woman second a Dr. Rather I am
in love with the person who dwells inside of this building. So what happened to this machine guy? He
even started loving the house the dwelling place of Leila.

00:27:05 --> 00:27:06
			So anyway,

00:27:07 --> 00:27:17
			I was saying loving someone. So if you love someone, you will do anything for them, you will obey
them nobody has to tell you to follow.

00:27:19 --> 00:27:27
			Nobody has to tell you to follow. So therefore, I was saying that we have all been commanded to

00:27:28 --> 00:27:57
			obey Allah's Messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam but as human beings is difficult because number
one our nature number two, we don't see him within us day to day life. So the only way that's going
to make us follow Him and follow the Sunnah and follow His ways and have love for and emulate him
and obey him is that we have this extreme deep love for Allah's Messenger sallallahu alayhi
wasallam.

00:27:59 --> 00:28:44
			Once we have this love, then we will not require anyone to even tell us that you know what you need
to follow the Sunnah. We will not require anyone to tell us that you need to obey the messenger of
allah sallallahu said, we all need a talk encouraging us to follow the sun now. We all need a Jumar
hooked by the Imam to tell us that you know what it's important to bring Sunday in your life the way
you eat, the way you eat, drink, sleep, walk, talk everything you do, do it in accordance with the
way of Allah's Messenger Salallahu Alaihe Salam because you already love that person. Nobody. You
don't, you don't need anyone to tell you. So loving Him will automatically make you fun of him.

00:28:44 --> 00:29:04
			loving Him will automatically make you obey Him. loving him entails emulating the messenger
sallallahu alayhi wasallam and this is why in Sharia loving the messenger sallallahu alayhi salam in
itself is a separate obligation. Following him is an obligation, but loving him in itself is a
separate obligation.

00:29:06 --> 00:29:20
			Following him is an obligation but loving him is also for the aim. The Quran tells us to love the
messenger SallAllahu Sallam is part of a it's personally obligatory upon every human being to love
the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:29:23 --> 00:29:35
			will encounter Abba okongwu Abner Okuma as Roger Kumar Shira to come one word, after the Jarrah
transaction okasada on the circuit or have been have been a common Allahu wa sorry. So

00:29:38 --> 00:29:59
			you know, loving the messenger SallAllahu Sallam is for the Ain. Just like we have to pray our five
time prayers. We have to love the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, just like we have to pay
zakat, just like we have to fast just like we have to perform Hajj. We also have to love

00:30:00 --> 00:30:25
			I have this loving the heart more than anything and everything. The hadith says you may know or
haidakhan had Hakuna or have that delay he may have already already when nursing edge married, you
cannot be a complete believer, you shall not be a complete believer until you do not until I do not
become more beloved to you

00:30:26 --> 00:30:30
			than your own parents, your own children and the whole of humanity at large.

00:30:33 --> 00:30:36
			Now, the question is just like we had a question here.

00:30:37 --> 00:30:43
			can't follow him because I don't see him. And number one, I'm a human being and I'm stubborn, so I
can't really follow and

00:30:44 --> 00:30:45
			so we need love,

00:30:46 --> 00:30:52
			then we automatically would follow. Question is, how do I love him then?

00:30:54 --> 00:31:04
			Because loving him is important for us to be able to follow him. So the question is, how am I going
to love him? Again, the same question arises

00:31:06 --> 00:31:16
			the same example. I said to the person, follow this, brother here. And if you want to follow Him
love him. Now if you see this brother

00:31:18 --> 00:31:42
			Well, this human being in front of you, you see him Wow, this is an amazing human being occur, how
gentle how kind, considerate how generous. He is so nice to me so nice to everybody knows this is an
immaculate amazing human being. Yeah, I think I actually quite like this person mashallah amazing
qualities, I'm going to follow, I'm going to live a life like this person's life.

00:31:44 --> 00:32:24
			It's easy to love someone or to have a like likeness for someone. If that person is in your midst,
again, the sahaja companion had it easy. They loved Amara the Allahu Anhu said, O Messenger of
Allah, I love you more than anything and everyone except myself. And then the messenger SallAllahu
alyssum said, No, you have to love us, we mean more than even yourself. And then afterwards he said,
O Messenger of Allah, I love you more than even myself and the messenger, some love, I use an
immense and earn Yama, one of the meanings of that is now you've become a complete believer. So the
Sahaba they saw him, why wouldn't they love this is why you see Sodom in the battles and everywhere,

00:32:24 --> 00:32:48
			anything anything would come, they would never compromise their absolute crazy love, insane love for
the messenger Sallallahu moneysense You know, in history, there is no example like the example of a
people a group who are absolutely devoted, A to Zed like crazy devoted.

00:32:50 --> 00:32:55
			Even non Muslims have said this, that you don't find examples of such

00:32:57 --> 00:33:15
			intense devotion, such deep following and emulation and devotion and submission and love and like
likeness. And you know, this connection with the reader or the ruler like the Sahara and for the
messengers

00:33:17 --> 00:33:19
			can find examples. Why?

00:33:20 --> 00:33:22
			Because they saw Him everyday day to day life.

00:33:24 --> 00:33:32
			The Companions mentioned in the books of Sierra, whoever saw him or had the who fell in love with
him, man or who had been,

00:33:33 --> 00:33:39
			you had no choice but to fall in love with him? Because they saw the qualities

00:33:40 --> 00:33:50
			that this person this messenger of Allah, the way he is, is just so unique. He's a human, but he has
superhuman qualities.

00:33:51 --> 00:34:03
			Hamedan by Sharon Melissa conversion. The poet says he's a human but he's not like other humans. So
he's a human being by nature, but he's superhuman, his qualities are superhuman.

00:34:06 --> 00:34:32
			He's still a human being but some of the things are like to be exactly like him. It's not possible
we try to emulate him but it's not possible. Like some things like for example we find in the Sierra
and it's been Malika the Allahu Anhu says that according to an Obeah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
Ashura. Seanie I served the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam for 10 years from our
colony fill

00:34:33 --> 00:34:49
			in 10 years, never did he say a word of contempt to me. When we hear this hadith, someone say, oh,
okay, hamdulillah great, amazing. Just imagine someone working for you. You've got a person who
you've employed working for you for 10 years. Every day they're working for you.

00:34:50 --> 00:34:59
			outside the office or in the office, they're working for you. They're bringing food for you and
they're doing this for you and that for you are going to the market for you. In 10 years. You are
human

00:35:00 --> 00:35:03
			You would not be a human, if you just slightly showed a bit of you know,

00:35:05 --> 00:35:08
			should have done this. It's normally just part of being a human.

00:35:09 --> 00:35:23
			And he said, Never did he say to me for something I was supposed to do, why didn't you do it? And
nothing? Never did he say to me for something, I wasn't supposed to do it, why did you do it? And I
must have made those mistakes, but never did he say it.

00:35:25 --> 00:35:30
			This is only the domain of the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, only he could do that.

00:35:31 --> 00:35:35
			So this was only the domain of the messenger sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:35:37 --> 00:35:39
			So the Sahaba, the Allahu Anhu. They

00:35:40 --> 00:35:51
			had intense love for him. And because of the intense love, I will send this number to their
following, and the obedience was intense as well.

00:35:53 --> 00:35:57
			This is why I said there's a connection. The more you love him, the more you will follow.

00:35:58 --> 00:36:08
			They followed him to the letter like in an intense way. There's examples where once the messenger
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was given a hot bath,

00:36:09 --> 00:36:25
			or a sermon in the masjid. And there were people who are standing up the door, the back in the
masjid. So he was trying to tell them that, you know, don't stand around, sit down, everybody should
sit down, basically. So during this hood while he said,

00:36:26 --> 00:36:31
			all of you standing, take your seat sit down, everyone should sit down. Don't just stand around
everyone sit down.

00:36:33 --> 00:36:39
			So there wasn't one companion who was coming to the masjid walking and he was just outside the
Masjid.

00:36:41 --> 00:36:43
			He hadn't entered the mosque yet.

00:36:44 --> 00:37:01
			And once he was just outside the mosque and he was walking towards was on the street on the road. He
heard the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi salam, his voice, he heard him saying in the masjid,
in the sermon, he said, him saying, everyone sit down, please.

00:37:02 --> 00:37:05
			As soon as he heard on the middle of the road.

00:37:06 --> 00:37:10
			You might think this is crazy, but he's not using his brains.

00:37:11 --> 00:37:43
			But that was in that particular case. Of course, right now, if someone said this, we wouldn't do
that. Like he's not trying to tell me like, let me go and find out do you mean sit down? Even if
you're working for someone? Is it hazard, you know, cause coming of course, you know, some people
might think that means you just even if there's a car coming, you just sit down and let the car come
and get an accident and give your life away. It's time is a practical religion, but we have to
understand each issue in its proper context. Like with balance, this was the messenger of allah
sallallahu anism number one, number two, we can understand the love the intense love

00:37:44 --> 00:38:12
			because they used to see him day to day and then probably he saw that this row even this row,
there's no you know, call coming or something. For some of you reading these kinds of things. Oh,
never did anything like how can you sit in the middle of the road? Like, okay, you're living 400
years later, if you were there, and there you saw it, then you made that judgment, and that's
another case. So the message is that Allah who listen afterwards told him said, Why did you sit down
on the road like I wasn't telling you to sit on the road? Look at his response.

00:38:13 --> 00:38:15
			He said, O Messenger of Allah,

00:38:16 --> 00:39:06
			I whatever you meant, and maybe you were trying to tell the people in the nursery that sit down, but
when my ears I forgot what his name was, which company was, but when the ears off, you know, this
person is talking about himself when when I these ears of mine, heard the messenger of allah
sallallahu listens, sound and voice and command. Sit down there, it was virtually impossible for me
to move even one centimeter or one feet forward. I can't I hear him sit down. And then I will find
out whether he wants me to actually come into the masjid or not. This is how the Companions followed
the messenger. sallallahu alayhi wasallam. Why did they follow him in this way? Because the love was

00:39:06 --> 00:39:17
			intense. They loved him a lot. Why did they love him so much? It was because they saw him, they
interacted with him.

00:39:20 --> 00:39:30
			So the question for us is that we have to love him to be able to follow him. But we can't see him.
The Sahaba Radi Allahu Adam the companions.

00:39:32 --> 00:39:45
			They were fortunate and had an advantage in that, in this regard, that they saw the messenger
SallAllahu Sallam every day in their life. So it was easy for them to love.

00:39:47 --> 00:40:00
			How can we love Him we are being told in the Quran, in the Hadith, in the sunnah to have love for
the messengers that Allahu alayhi salam, but this is someone that we've not seen we've not met we've
not interact

00:40:00 --> 00:40:02
			To begin with, not suddenly this gathering, we don't see that person.

00:40:04 --> 00:40:12
			You're telling us to love someone that lived the world 14 140 years ago? And we don't see him.

00:40:13 --> 00:40:17
			We don't interact with him. How is it possible to love him?

00:40:20 --> 00:40:22
			So the answer to that is that yes,

00:40:24 --> 00:40:27
			if we want this loving stage, then there's a stage before that.

00:40:29 --> 00:40:30
			There's another stage.

00:40:31 --> 00:40:34
			And that stage is knowing him.

00:40:35 --> 00:41:10
			And this is why I said, Knowing him is to love him, loving him, is to follow Him, knowing him, of
course, we can't know him, or recognize him, or learn or identify him, as the companions did. So the
companions did have an advantage. And therefore maybe like, you know, who knows, you know, how was
struggle is greater than the companions. And I think there's a hadith as well, that's mentioned that
people will come after they'll be more rewarded. And that doesn't mean we're better than the
Companions, companions or companions or the a lot, of course, but

00:41:14 --> 00:41:20
			if you can't beat them, join them. You can't be like the Sahaba what's the next best thing? Because
they

00:41:22 --> 00:42:01
			had it easy. They were able to love the messenger, sallallahu alayhi salam because they saw Him.
They met him the interaction with him. We don't live in that time. We are not living in you know,
first century. Madina, Munawwara. We're living in 2019. In United Kingdom or America, wherever you
are, we're living somewhere else. We're living 14 140 years after the messenger sallallahu alayhi
salam. So how can we love him? The answer is that we have to know Him and we have to recognize him
and we have to learn about him. And this is why it is so important.

00:42:02 --> 00:42:45
			To learn the Sunnah, the Syrah the biography of the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, the only
way we can love him is to recognize him. If you learn about him, then you will automatically the
Companions fell in love with him because they learned about him. They saw Him, we can't see him, so
we have to learn about him from the books from the courses, we have to read the books and Syrah we
have to learn the books of Syrah, we have to study in detail, the biography of the messenger
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, every single day of our life. Some of the scholars say, just like we
recite the Quran every day in our life, that's to build our love and connection with Allah subhana

00:42:45 --> 00:42:49
			wa, witness another topic as well because Allah is well we don't see him

00:42:50 --> 00:43:21
			because we have to love Allah. And we have to love the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi salam we
can't physically see Allah subhanaw taala with our these eyes of this life in the Afra inshallah we
will, but in these in this world with these isolated recall up so we can see on Ma, but we have to
love him. So that's a topic on its own that how do you love Allah and loving Allah is by building a
connection with him. How do you build a connection with him thinking about all his Nerima and his
boundaries and gifts and all the things that lead you to Allah and it's a topic on its own.

00:43:24 --> 00:43:26
			So with the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:43:27 --> 00:43:41
			by learning about him by reading his characteristics by studying his life. In detail, I was saying
that some of the scholars say that just like it is important for a person to read the Quran.

00:43:42 --> 00:43:44
			reading the Quran daily in your life,

00:43:46 --> 00:44:00
			makes you have a connection with Allah. One of the reasons how you build love for Allah. One of the
reasons how you build a connection and relationship with Allah subhanaw taala reading the Quran. And
if you read the Syrah

00:44:01 --> 00:44:27
			and Hadith and Sira the biography of the messenger Salallahu Alaihe Salam, then that makes you have
a connection, a relationship with Allah's Messenger Salallahu Alaihe Salam makes you love the
messengers of Allah. Therefore it's, I think we should make it a habit of ours that every single day
of our life we should read the book of Allah Quran recitation of the Quran, and we should read and
study the seer. This is

00:44:29 --> 00:44:53
			This is in addition to studying his zero as a course but then after that throughout our life, even
if it's repetition, differently from books just read every single day, maybe as a family, read the
seer of the messenger Salallahu Alaihe Salam, every day we read the Quran and read the Sierra we
will have love for Allah for the messenger Salallahu Alaihe Salam, when you have love for both of
them, we will obey and follow both of them.

00:44:54 --> 00:45:00
			So the first knowing him is to love him or you can say no

00:45:00 --> 00:45:11
			obeying Him leads to loving him and loving him leads to following him. Or you can say knowing him
results in loving Him, loving him results in following him.

00:45:13 --> 00:45:20
			It's easy to love someone, when you know that person, you know, there's an incident I just
remembered, mentioned.

00:45:21 --> 00:45:26
			Those a person who sent his son to study somewhere far

00:45:27 --> 00:45:30
			from India or from the subcontinent somewhere,

00:45:31 --> 00:45:56
			his son was younger teenager, he sent him to some western country to a big university to go and
study. So the child, the son left, studied there for good 1015 years, etc. After what 15 years, got
his degree and his PhD and postgraduate degree, whatever, wherever. And he qualified as a doctor or
a lawyer, whatever, something.

00:45:57 --> 00:46:20
			And then he started working there as well for a bit and started his work and his profession and his
career. And he's got now a lot of connections and acquaintances, and he has all these relationships
and links, business links with people in his profession, and he's become a very important person.
After good 1520 years,

00:46:21 --> 00:46:57
			he made plans to go back to his hometown, his village, back somewhere in Pakistan, India, or
whatever, to go and visit his family and his old father, he told you to go and visit. So he went
when you went there. Now, here's an important person. So even in his hometown, there's people who
use his part of a massive, you know, corporations, and there's people who work for that same
industry or the company, even in his home country. So they also knew that he's coming from London or
wherever. So, at the airport, lot of different people came to

00:46:58 --> 00:47:00
			receive Him and meet him and greet him.

00:47:02 --> 00:47:07
			Some people from the company and some important Fuger figures and personalities of people came to
see him.

00:47:09 --> 00:47:17
			And in amongst those people, his own father from the village also came. So when he came out of the
airport and from the terminal and came out

00:47:18 --> 00:47:51
			from the arrivals to so many people came to greet him, and he recognized some people and reaching
us. Hello, mister, sir, this is I'm less than this. And I work for this company, and it's okay. And
his meeting everybody. And his old father who's a villager looks like simple guy. And you know, just
like the wearing simple clothes, was trying to see his son and he didn't know he was his father. So
he just, he just completely blanked him and avoided him. And I didn't give him attention to old man,
wait a minute, you just need to meet this person.

00:47:53 --> 00:47:54
			Somebody then just suddenly told him.

00:47:56 --> 00:48:39
			Mr. That's your father, actually. So that's my father. He left everybody and he, you know, embraced
him and he made with him and then kissed his forehead and held him and then kept his father next to
him. A few minutes ago. He was saying, you know, old man can you just can just move I just want to
meet somebody. And the moment someone told him that that's your father, he left everybody and he
went to matches one reason being was until he didn't know recognize that was his father, who was
just known to man, the moment he recognized and he knew that that was his father gave him all the
attention and started loving him. So knowing someone results in attention and love recognizing

00:48:39 --> 00:48:48
			someone and this is why the Quran says MLM, Yari fool Rasool lovin don't they recognize the
messenger the Quran tells us that recognize the messenger.

00:48:50 --> 00:49:37
			Know the messenger, what are them one if you come rasool Allah, it's really really important for you
to recognize the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Therefore, the first obligation lecture on
the third obligation the first obligation is our roof. It is recognizing the messenger sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam to identify him to recognize him to know him to learn about him. To know his learn
about his qualities, His character traits know about his virtues. Rote learn about all the amazing
character traits he had, the way he spoke and the way he is? He ate his a HELOC is amazing character
traits or his

00:49:38 --> 00:49:41
			perfect command and his perfect

00:49:43 --> 00:49:49
			character traits. It's important to learn about them and once you learn about them that you will

00:49:50 --> 00:49:59
			surely fall in love with the messengers that are not by yourself. I once asked a brother in America
I think this was in Chicago many many years ago.

00:50:01 --> 00:50:03
			I remember I think it wasn't Chicago

00:50:05 --> 00:50:07
			that somebody became a Muslim.

00:50:08 --> 00:50:32
			No, actually an imam in Chicago. He was an Egyptian Imam and one of the mosques. I was having a
discussion with him. And he mentioned this to me, he said that he wants met somebody, or somebody
from Chicago. Somebody he knew, he asked him, he became a Muslim, that other person so he asked him
that why did you become Muslim? What made you accept Islam? What made you embrace Islam?

00:50:34 --> 00:50:46
			So the person said, he asked him that you become Muslim, because you know, someone gave you Dawa, or
somebody gave you a copy of the Quran and you read the Quran and you studied the Quran or because
you saw the Muslims, etc, etc.

00:50:47 --> 00:51:12
			And because you saw some amazing Muslims, and that's why, you know, you thought, wow, I need to
become Muslim. Rather, probably nowadays, somebody who's thinking about being a Muslim sees the
Muslims probably stops, you know, the thought and idea of being a Muslim, not everywhere, inshallah
we'll try to be positive. But he said, It wasn't because I saw Muslims or someone invited me towards
Islam or gave me that, well, I read the Quran.

00:51:13 --> 00:51:31
			I came across once a small booklet about the character of the Messenger of the Muslims, the Prophet
of the Muslims. Somebody maybe just handed that to me. And I was just reading, I was like, thinking,
wow, this is an amazing human being is this how he was really.

00:51:32 --> 00:52:09
			This can't be just some some normal human being. And then he said, that led me to want to read more
about him and more about him. And then eventually, I just fell in love with this person. And then I
fell in love with the religion that he came with. And that's how the Sahaba became Muslims. The
Sahaba Radi Allahu Anhu. Why do they embrace Islam? Omar Radi Allahu Anhu you know, he's going to
kill his domestic your Salah Allahu alayhi wa sallam, and then he's going this way. And then he's
seeing his sister and his brother in law and all these people like suddenly they left everything.
Why did they accept Islam because they fell in love with the person who brought Islam. That's what

00:52:09 --> 00:52:48
			they made him then become Muslims. It wasn't that they had a connection with a law and like, you
know, they felt and they studied and, you know, they, you know, looked at all the pros, pros and
cons and they looked at all the theological you know, DeLisle, on the existence of God, maybe that
was secondary, you know, they thought, okay, the sun and if the God exists, because who, you know,
they suddenly had this whole, you know, sophisticated theological discussion about the philosophy of
everything and the creation and the stars and it's an okay, God exist. No, they just fell in love
with this person, who is a super human being who is a human body, but he has and possesses

00:52:48 --> 00:52:55
			superhuman qualities. And that just made them just fall in love with him. And because of him, they
embraced Islam.

00:52:57 --> 00:53:30
			So the way to embrace Islam and the way to be practicing Muslims, is to fall in love with this
person, but you can only fall in love with this person if you know about him. And this is why it is
so important. I personally feel probably the most important alongside studying the Quran recitation
of the Quran. The most important thing for a person's Eman for a person's Islam is to study the
sword sear on the Sunnah. And this last part of this discussion in the next 1520 minutes

00:53:32 --> 00:53:48
			it's important not just for your Islam and your iman and your faith, but also like what I was
talking about, for success and salvation, for success and for prosperity in this life as well. And
this was the part of the talk that

00:53:50 --> 00:54:10
			how loving the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam could lead to achieve contentment, tranquility
and success in this world in the Hereafter, and the hereafter hamdulillah others, we don't need to
explain that. There is success in the Hereafter, but even success in this life, and tranquility, and
peace.

00:54:11 --> 00:54:13
			So, even that's a benefit.

00:54:15 --> 00:54:29
			Why? Because once we have these three things, not just loving the messenger SallAllahu sallam, but
all three things become becoming a package, knowing him and loving Him and

00:54:33 --> 00:54:59
			follow Him just trying to do this thing, knowing him loving him and following him comes in a
package. This all of this as a package, the Quran said to occurred further, bosun Alima like I
mentioned this in the beginning and I just touched upon it and I said I will later elaborate more on
it. Not just that is good for the next life and it's good for our iman and our Islam.

00:55:00 --> 00:55:22
			Our connection with Allah and all of that, that's there without a doubt. But it's also good for
success in this life. But like I was saying, success in this life is not what we consider a success.
Looking at the external, it's to do with the mind the in the internal peace tranquility.

00:55:24 --> 00:56:06
			When we start having this whole package of following the loving and knowing, remember, we need the
whole package. So not just loving, because someone who loves and doesn't follow is actually not
loving. Because when we say the whole package, each part of this package, each component is
connected to the other, you can't separate. You can't say I follow the non love, if you follow you
love him. And you can't say I love him, but you don't follow because if you don't follow, you don't
actually love him. And you can't really love him without knowing him because you just don't know why
you love him. So it comes as a package. So this whole package of knowing, loving following this

00:56:06 --> 00:56:22
			whole package in itself. This whole package will give this success in this life, but spiritual
success in this life. How will he give you success in this life? Is because once you've got this
package, and remember this package includes

00:56:24 --> 00:56:40
			following him. This is why somebody came to me this is why I'm saying this is because we're saying
here, how loving the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, we need you to achieve contentment. But if
you say you've got love, but not following, that, it's not going to give you contentment. That's why
I said,

00:56:42 --> 00:56:52
			loving the Prophet salallahu Salam will give you peace and tranquility. But if it comes as a
package, the package of love contentment, sorry, the package of no love, follow,

00:56:53 --> 00:57:37
			not just love on its own because loving on its own is not love. You can't even say you're loving Him
because we don't follow him. It's not love. It's something else or you're deluded. If someone says I
love him, but I don't follow him, then it's actually a delusion. You think you're loving him but you
don't love him. So we can say that the real love which actually includes following him, Give success
gives tranquility, give peace. Why? Because that love entails following once you follow and you
emulate the messengers of Allah and Islam, once we emulate the messenger sallallahu alayhi salam we
follow in his footsteps and we follow his sunnah his ways, everything he did from beginning to end,

00:57:37 --> 00:58:27
			then without a doubt, you will have a life full of peace of tranquility, of internal internal
happiness, because you will look at the teachings of the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, you
will implement you those teachings in your life. You will inwardly embrace the ways the practices
the methods the Sunnah of the messenger SallAllahu sallam, when we say the Sunnah of the messenger
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. It's not just the Sunnah of prayer, how he performed salah. It also
means and includes the Sunnah of eating the Sunnah of drinking the Sunnah of conversing, the Sunnah
of talking, interacting, the son of dealing with your children, the son of dealing with your

00:58:27 --> 00:58:58
			parents, the Sunnah of dealing with your spouse, you know, someone's married, but they're having
marriage problems. And I mean, a lot of people have marriage problems, and sometimes more problems
are part of marriage. But then, internally, how can you be at peace in your marriage? You can only
be at peace in your marriage. If you make your marriage in accordance with no love follow the
messenger. Nowadays, people they're married, but they're not they're not happy in their marriages,
why they're not happy in their marriages. Why don't they feel this peace and tranquility in their
marriage because they don't have that package of no love, follow

00:59:00 --> 00:59:04
			in their marriage, their marriage has to be built on no love and follow

00:59:05 --> 00:59:46
			the actual marriage itself before marriage engagement has to be based on no love follow. The period
between engagement and marriage itself has to be based on that. You start off on the right foot, you
Nygaard, the marriage has to be conducted based on no love, follow and ultimately follow is it in
accordance with the Sunnah? Are you conducting and carrying out your marriage based on the way of
the messengers of Allah? And after marriage? Are you living like a husband should live? Have you
studied the zero? If you look at the seer of the messenger SallAllahu? How did he deal with his
wives in marriage? Is the man dealing with his wife like that? Is the wife dealing with her husband

00:59:46 --> 00:59:59
			in a way taught by the messenger? salAllahu alayhi salam? If you do then you will have that peace
and tranquility, buying and selling as well see, how did he buy? How did he take a loan? Actually,
he very rarely took a loan

01:00:00 --> 01:00:41
			Taking a loan he actually warned against taking a loan, the messenger Salallahu Alaihe Salam is
famous your eyes actually Allah Khomeini, I will become in 100 a day. Oh Allah, I seek protection
from being overcome by debts and loans. And this is why it's actually not recommended in Sharia.
It's permissible, it's halal. But if you don't need a loan, a debt free life is a stress free life.
That's another thing as well, it's my thing. I've tweeted this once before a debt free a debt free
life is a stress free life, how many people are stressed? Why because this world is such that
they've overcome with loans, you've got 75 million credit cards in your wallet. And every credit

01:00:41 --> 01:01:01
			card is this credit card and that credit card loan there, that loan there and car loan there and
house loan there and the mortgage there and 200 pounds borrowed, borrowed from that person. And it's
just like, you just, you don't have the peace. If you read the Sierra, or you loved the messenger,
Muhammad sallallahu alayhi salam, and you follow his way.

01:01:03 --> 01:01:15
			He says, You know what, I don't take loans unless it's absolutely necessary to live a life which is
debt free life, then you'd have that peace. Also, you look at his teachings, which is that

01:01:17 --> 01:01:19
			achieving tranquillity is

01:01:20 --> 01:01:33
			looking at people below you not looking at people above you, but looking at below you in life. The
messenger sallallahu alayhi salam is way was that although 11 Who are for

01:01:37 --> 01:01:51
			Latin Whoo, sorry, Latin Guru 11 Yeah, sorry, Guru Illa. Man who is flamenco Latin Guru 11, who are
folk in worldly matters. Look at the people above the sorry, look at the people below you.

01:01:52 --> 01:02:18
			If you earn 10,000 pounds, think about look at and consider the people who are poor, who earn 1000
pounds, people who are very less in life. People who just about make ends meet. Stop complaining,
you know, we are ungrateful beings, you know, what happens is that we are always complaining because
we always look at things we don't have. And we forget that we've got two eyes to see. Imagine, you
know, close your eyes and think you know, if I imagine if I was blind,

01:02:20 --> 01:02:21
			I normally say

01:02:22 --> 01:02:31
			personal thing that try spending at least once a week or once a month, 15 minutes without opening
your eyes. Just to realize how great Nirma

01:02:33 --> 01:02:39
			the eyesight is. Breathing is such a great Nirmal. I'm not recommending spending 15 minutes without
breathing. But

01:02:42 --> 01:03:06
			you know, okay, I'm going to spend 15 minutes without breathing. Just carry on breathing. But just
imagine, like, try doing that I've tried it. I think I need to do it more like every week at least.
Just try to do your normal day to day activities. 15 minutes, I'm going to close my eyes. I want to
try to do one lecture like that. No one's just I can't see the audience. I'm giving a talk. There
was some shoe who immigrants in great demand from the past, we taught Hadith with our eyes.

01:03:07 --> 01:03:12
			There was one scholar who passed away from Pakistanis to give lectures and he was completely blind
and when our talk is today,

01:03:14 --> 01:03:54
			just imagine great and EREMA thinking about this net amount of Allah subhanaw taala. The messenger
salAllahu alayhi salam is telling us look at people who are less fortunate you are human beings,
you're ungrateful. We think about oh, I don't have this and I've got a look at my earnings or look
at this person. Look at that person. No. Look at people below you. There's people, orphans, poor
people, people in hospital, people who have one hand, one foot, one leg disabled. There's all sorts
of things that even if you have a disability, you still have you know, you've got an ear you've got
a hand you've got so many different things. So, the messenger SallAllahu sallam said look at people

01:03:54 --> 01:04:05
			below you don't look at people above you, this will make you grateful to Allah subhanaw taala which
will make you have tranquility I will mention one thing here that look

01:04:07 --> 01:04:16
			there's two different things here one is means of happiness and tranquility and actual happiness and
tranquility itself. A lot of people confuse the two

01:04:18 --> 01:04:22
			means of tranquility and happiness and tranquility and happiness itself.

01:04:24 --> 01:04:27
			As Bob would Russia and Russia itself.

01:04:30 --> 01:04:36
			Russia means tranquility. As Babu Raha means means of tranquility. What's the difference? The
difference is

01:04:38 --> 01:04:38
			that we think

01:04:39 --> 01:04:58
			there are certain things that are means that give you happiness, like what money call house, job,
Korea, friends, good friends, good family members, all these external things. These are means of

01:04:59 --> 01:05:00
			happiness.

01:05:00 --> 01:05:03
			means of convenience means of

01:05:07 --> 01:05:22
			success or basically means of being tranquil. I've got a good wage and I've got a big house and I've
got a nice car and I've got my degree and I've got everything remember, in the world, you will never
be satisfied. But anyway, so these are means,

01:05:23 --> 01:05:27
			but that's different to actual happiness and tranquility itself.

01:05:28 --> 01:06:08
			People have confused the two we think car itself is actual tranquility, the money that's coming in
the wages, the earnings, they themselves are tranquility and peace, that the house all these things,
which are means of tranquility, we actually consider them to be tranquility themselves, which is not
the case. Tranquility is something else, means of tranquility is something else. Sometimes you might
have the means of tranquility and tranquility, both sometimes you might have the means but not
tranquility. And sometimes you might not have the means but you might have the tranquility, how many
situations

01:06:10 --> 01:06:18
			and the last one for sometimes the worst case scenario, you don't even have the means of tranquility
and not even tranquility. But how do you sorrel herba?

01:06:19 --> 01:06:36
			Can I repeat them again, for situations. Sometimes you have both. So you've got a lot of money, car
house, all the means of happiness, tranquility. And Allah has blessed you internally with peace and
tranquility. So you've got both great hamdulillah

01:06:38 --> 01:07:17
			sometimes some people they have. The second probably best is they don't have the means of
tranquility. But they have tranquility, so they don't have a lot of money and riches and a lot of
items of the world. But internally, mentally, they're stable, they're happy, they, they they feel
good within themselves. This is a narrative that only comes from Allah, Raha and Tama Nina and
tranquillity only comes from Allah subhanaw taala. It's a NEMA that Allah grants to people he wants,
and only those people get that Nirma and receive and acquire and obtain the Nirma to actually have
that package of no love and follow. Allah gives it to them. So if you've got a lot of money, and you

01:07:17 --> 01:07:27
			have no love and follow, then you'll also get that as well. So some people they don't have the
wealth and the means of happiness, that they have the tranquility. third situation is the opposite
of the second,

01:07:29 --> 01:07:43
			which is quite bad, which a lot of people are involved in, where people have the actual means of
happiness. They've got a big career job, income, wages, cars, properties, but they're depressed.
There's no peace in their life.

01:07:44 --> 01:07:51
			Majority of people because they haven't been blessed by Allah with this narrow amount of
tranquility, because they don't have that no love and follow.

01:07:53 --> 01:08:10
			And lastly, the worst case scenario. The worst is a person who doesn't have none of the means of
happiness. And neither that person has actual tranquility in their life. May Allah protect us. May
Allah grant us maybe the first situation or the second situation.

01:08:11 --> 01:08:12
			So

01:08:13 --> 01:08:42
			there's a difference between actual happiness, tranquility, and the means of tranquility. Actual
happiness is an aroma and it's a gift from Allah subhanho wa Taala it's Saru called the Raha. It's
Itami Allah It's a gift from Allah, it's okay for you to call. It's an institute situation
circumstance of the heart. And that only comes when somebody follows the ways of the messenger
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

01:08:44 --> 01:08:53
			one of the one of the things that is really important, which I will end with of acquiring this
achieved achieving this tranquility

01:08:55 --> 01:09:38
			on the prophetic supplications. Again, study the Sierra and I normally say that it's really
important to study this aspect of the Sierra and the Sunnah. And maybe we need to do lots of courses
on this. I think every mosque should have a course and maybe you guys are listening. I think you
should arrange a course on prophetic supplications that area that do ask the supplications of
Allah's Messenger Salallahu Alaihe Salam, which are established from the Sunnah, the authentic two
hours, because these dollars are so applications are seriously so relevant, so important.

01:09:40 --> 01:09:59
			You might say a course on them. Yes, of course. I know children learn it, but these do ours are so
deep. They have so much oceans have meanings in them, that each dua we can talk for half an hour in
and trying to understand these applications. Some of the early scholars said that these do these

01:10:00 --> 01:10:12
			applications and other area a thorough they themselves are a Mirage is a miracle of Allah's
Messenger SallAllahu sallam, they show an indicate that these are divine words

01:10:13 --> 01:10:14
			oceans of meanings

01:10:17 --> 01:10:25
			you know, as soon as you wake up in the morning Alhamdulillah hymnody a Jana Turner we live in new
shoes.

01:10:26 --> 01:10:41
			We learn them when we are children but these applications need to be learned not just the Arabic but
the translation and the deeper meanings I can explain this to is taking about half an hour or 20
minutes at least. There's so many so many aspects to understand

01:10:43 --> 01:10:51
			there's no time for right now but just sort of understand just one point that we say all praise for
Allah who gave us life after death

01:10:53 --> 01:10:55
			so firstly, you wake up in the morning

01:10:57 --> 01:11:00
			before taking your mobile phone and looking at WhatsApp

01:11:01 --> 01:11:09
			you know all the night messages are this group that do first thing nowadays that's what people do.
First thing is Peep next to the phone as well as WhatsApp

01:11:10 --> 01:11:16
			twitter facebook, you should just off your phone and put it away downstairs or in another have to go
there.

01:11:17 --> 01:11:42
			So in the morning, you don't touch your phone first thing first thought of the morning when we wake
up, maybe the phone maybe work maybe job maybe the office maybe the car or all these worldly
thoughts come into our mind straightaway. The way of the messenger sallallahu alayhi salam was that
as soon as you wake up first thing in the morning, what do you do?

01:11:43 --> 01:11:45
			You wake up first thing

01:11:46 --> 01:11:51
			and hamdulillah would praise for Allah. I love my God.

01:11:53 --> 01:12:05
			What did he just do? He gave me life. Am I awake? Let me just check no check. Yeah, I am I'm alive.
Let me just double check. I'm not dead am I? Am I dead? Am I in my grave?

01:12:07 --> 01:12:40
			I'm alive. Allah has given me a new fresh date. Jana Merton. After I had died at night I was dead.
because sleep is a sister of death. And the Quran cools sleep death. Allah who your powerful enforce
Hinomoto will let you learn Tamil few monomial for your security acaba Allah Helmut will Silla so we
are dead at night from Wake up a new day, a brand new day. Look out the window.

01:12:42 --> 01:13:09
			You breathe hamdulillah Allah's blessing of air is still here. Beautiful sunny day, even if it's
rainy day, beautiful fresh rain, whatever, whether it's a dull day, or rainy or sunny day, by them,
I'm actually not sure one day I'll be going back to Allah. But today Allah has given me a new fresh
day, fresh opportunity to be successful in this life. Allah has given me I could have died. I could
have woken up like I couldn't have I could have not woken up.

01:13:11 --> 01:13:28
			This morning. I had a close shave with death. I was like so I was like half dead but now I've been
given. Okay, today I'm going to spend it in these activities for the sake of Allah. You think all of
these thoughts come in the mind then you go to the washroom to the bathroom.

01:13:30 --> 01:13:38
			And when you do a loving India or becoming a hobo, they will have a translation for that as well.
But when you come out I will just explain this dua.

01:13:40 --> 01:13:46
			What do you do? As soon as you exit the bathroom? You make a dua who Ferghana

01:13:48 --> 01:14:01
			forgiveness to Allah there's a reason why you do that. But there's no time. After that you say
Alhamdulillah Allah the other Harbor, annual other wild funny again all Praise to Allah who removed

01:14:02 --> 01:14:21
			all the filth and dirt and harmful things from my stomach. Now this is a DUA to understand that you
know what if I am you, we were not able to go to the toilet in the morning to the washroom to the
bathroom and relieve ourselves. We would die would end up in the hospital.

01:14:22 --> 01:14:54
			Some people have to have a bag on the sides because it has to leave What's basically happening we
wake up in the morning we don't realize that you know what at night I ate chicken biryani meat,
kebabs, burgers, healthy unhealthy junk food and even the bones. I ate everything gobble everything
up. And then all the fizzy drinks and whatever everything had a big massive meal, no problem.
Everything was ate and went to sleep. Seven hours.

01:14:55 --> 01:14:59
			Allah saying to us, no worries, my slave myself. You

01:15:00 --> 01:15:02
			Have a relaxed sleep, you just sleep.

01:15:03 --> 01:15:07
			Don't worry, you've got a nice pillow. And you've got a nice bed and you can sleep

01:15:08 --> 01:15:18
			six hours, seven hours, eight hours, whatever hours you want to sleep, have a nice comfortable
sleep. But you don't know whilst you are sleeping.

01:15:19 --> 01:15:24
			This bit people in your stomach working this Allah's machine is working in your stomach,

01:15:25 --> 01:15:30
			the machine, there's a whole night shift. Night shift is taking place like proper

01:15:32 --> 01:15:39
			machine machines are at work, there's proper work taking place as a big massive like a faction.

01:15:40 --> 01:16:21
			But the point here is that, that Allah is so kind to us that this whole massive machine is working,
but not disturbing us. We want to serve you you just leave, let them do. Allah says you know what I
won't, like disturb you you carry on sleeping will the work will carry on taking place in your
stomach. So we won't disturb you. And this work is important for you. Because all that food that
you've eaten, protein is being derived from that food for your body, blood is being derived, healthy
elements are being derived, and you know, different parts and all the different functions are taking
place from all that food and the impure or the harmful effects. That's all being sifted and being

01:16:21 --> 01:16:44
			stored into just going one corner. So in the morning when you go just go and remove that. So that's
gone from your body. So that work is really important. You will other work you will die so that work
is important. But then if that works takes place and there's so much noise and sound and you're not
going to go to sleep so they'll say you know what, don't worry, you kind of sleeping you just rest
we won't disturb you but we will carry out the work. We just ask you one thing just wake up.

01:16:46 --> 01:16:58
			Only Fajr that's it, we won't disturb you have your six hours. Just wake up and offer your pleasures
Allah will do all the work for you at night so that in the morning, it's ready to go into the toilet
and just flush it down shot.

01:16:59 --> 01:17:06
			That's the only thing you have to do. That is the meaning of Alhamdulillah higgledy hubba Anil other
work.

01:17:07 --> 01:17:50
			I've just given two hours as examples and like the summary of this 3040 50 prophetic supplications
each one of them has deep meanings. This is from the Syrah from the Sunnah. And there should be a
dedicated course with translations and the meanings of every single dua of the messenger sallallahu
alayhi salam, when you live a life where you are reciting this two hours you wake up in the morning
when you entering the washroom you decide to do with the meetings, you exit the toilet with the DUA
with the understanding. You sit in the car or in the plane transportation you received the two hour
with the meaning you know you eat you read the DUA before eating after eating. Your Salah is with

01:17:50 --> 01:18:09
			thought with mind with crucial with devotion, your thoughts your brain is always there. You are
mentally spiritually connected with the messenger of allah sallallahu sallam, then you will have
peace, you will have tranquility and you will have contentment and you will have happiness in your
life. Inshallah, may Allah grant us all of this because I can

01:18:13 --> 01:18:21
			see there's so many Cetyl books, it's difficult to recommend one, all of them are written in from
different different angles. There's one

01:18:22 --> 01:18:30
			you know the one by Sheikh moulana Idris Candolim Allah he was a scholar from subcontinent but it's
translated into English in three volumes. What is

01:18:31 --> 01:18:34
			Sierra Mustafa English?

01:18:38 --> 01:18:40
			See, no, I don't have that there

01:18:42 --> 01:18:45
			was any collusion? This is if you read Arabic

01:18:51 --> 01:18:53
			what's good sort of most of us there.

01:18:55 --> 01:19:00
			This one if you see is called say you don't know Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

01:19:02 --> 01:19:05
			Their policy was really lucky, isn't it? It's a camera.

01:19:07 --> 01:19:09
			Okay, our Master Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam

01:19:11 --> 01:19:48
			written by somebody called chef de la salle Roger de la como la was a scholar from Gallup, Syria has
passed away. But it's been translated into English called our Master Muhammad, I think two volumes.
Somebody could hide it. Bill Williams, I think translated it to very, very good book. It's not just
theory. It's more like characteristics and Shamal and UCLA and the ways of the messengers of Allah
Islam. It really makes you love the messengers of Allah. Allah. Imam tell me the Shama Illa
mohammedia is very good. Some other books in terms of CRR in Arabic we have seen of him and his
Sham, which is probably the translation to English or heckle Maktoum, the seal nectar also in

01:19:48 --> 01:19:52
			English, which is good. What else is there? I have done that.

01:19:56 --> 01:19:59
			You know, the second there's more valuable the duniya czar

01:20:00 --> 01:20:03
			under my head, there's what's what's what else is there?

01:20:04 --> 01:20:05
			Okay

01:20:10 --> 01:20:15
			there's some Arabic ones that I have I don't have 20 English ones with the old Arabic ones that I
have.

01:20:16 --> 01:20:20
			Okay, but yeah, so you can there's quite a few ones you can read in shall love dial

01:20:22 --> 01:20:22
			tone in that section

01:20:28 --> 01:20:36
			he's wearing a jukebox. So now was it a culture of the people at the time? One second before that?
Is it correct to say that maybe Salallahu Alaihe Salam is alive in his grave?

01:20:38 --> 01:21:02
			Look at who's asking this Fatima Fatima. This is a superficial? It's a non important question, to be
honest, seriously. The problem is that we you know, all these controversial kind of questions that
people like to discuss and argue and debate about are they taking this far away spiritually from the
messenger SallAllahu salah. Now, with this question, is it correct to say that he is alive in his
grave?

01:21:04 --> 01:21:39
			The answer of that there's two things one of one is that what's that going to do to us in terms of
like practical life? Number one, it doesn't do anything to us like we are not required to know that
from a Sharia point of view as well. It's not in the books of Akita Muhammad How is appended to how
he doesn't say okay, believe in one Allah and believe in the messenger and believe him to be the
final prophet and believe him like you have to be alive or not alive, whatever. That's not a point
of upheaval anyway. So you will not be questioned about that. You will not be questioned on your PMO
in our graves won't be like, Do you Do you know that he was alive in his grave? No one will be

01:21:39 --> 01:22:12
			questioned about do you recognize a man other Rogers? Did you follow him? Did you follow his sunnah
was your whole life based on his teachings, not whether you could believe that he's alive. But if
your life is not in accordance with how he was when he was in Medina, then it's of no benefit. So we
will not be questioned about number one. Number two, it doesn't practically it doesn't practically
affect us, we have to love him. Regardless, we have to send blessings and Salawat on him.
Regardless, we know our deeds are presented to him. Regardless, we have to read salawat and route
every day as much as possible. We have to love him, we have to follow him, regardless, whatever, it

01:22:12 --> 01:22:24
			doesn't affect us. So it doesn't, will not be question about that. It doesn't affect us practically.
And the third issue is that even if you believe either way,

01:22:25 --> 01:22:33
			there's no way anyone knows the exact details. Majority of the reasonable Jamar scholar said that
you believe generally that he's alive.

01:22:35 --> 01:22:40
			Not just him, even the Shahada. The Quran says the marches are alive. But I hear

01:22:42 --> 01:22:47
			you think they are dead? You don't even realize but they are alive. So the prophets are alive.

01:22:48 --> 01:23:26
			But that's the only thing we're required to believe. Alive. Nobody ever has gone into the details.
And nobody in this world knows the details. Does he mean that he's sleeping? Does he have a pillow?
The Is he breathing? Is he waking up in the middle of the night and having some coffee? Is he having
tea? Is he having bananas? Is he having pity Ernie does He probably likes Asian food right? Is he
What is he eating now there? Is he offering salad on there? Is it sitting in his grave? And and you
know, looking at everybody, nobody knows we don't need to know who's alive End of story. Allah knows
the best we will not be questioned about it. And we don't it doesn't affect us and our story

01:23:26 --> 01:23:27
			understand of the matter.

01:23:30 --> 01:23:33
			Okay, not too many questions, because we've gone over time and I need to go actually

01:23:34 --> 01:23:48
			is wearing a Jew Barsana not necessarily what's important. The principle of dress is that you have
to there's about six seven principles of dress, that's a topic on its own. You have to wear a dress,
which is

01:23:49 --> 01:24:21
			loose, which is not tight, which is not like the feminine for a male especially I don't even female
if you're going outside. It's not stuck like most of these clothing right now. I mean, I know they
just make so tight clothes, you're our like your thighs or beings exposed or so they're not see
through, they're not tight, you don't see the figure of the body, they lose the loose fitting,
they're not specific to a particular religious symbol, etc, etc. Then it's all fine and there's no
problem then you can wear whatever you want to show

01:24:25 --> 01:24:27
			all belong so my question

01:24:28 --> 01:24:42
			how can we increase the chances of seeing the Prophet Muhammad salah, loathsome in dreams, brother,
sister, whoever is asking this. The objective of life is not to see the messenger SallAllahu Ellison
in your dream. That is that this is another problem that we

01:24:43 --> 01:25:00
			sadly, we've completely, you know, we've completely missed the point. You know, in the early times,
early scholars, seeing him in a dream was like the side issue as a result as a benefit of living the
law.

01:25:00 --> 01:25:40
			I've in accordance with His teachings. So somebody said, how can i The question would be, how can I
follow in his footsteps? How can I make my marriage exempt like his sunnah? How can I buy like him?
How can I sell like him? How can I talk to my children like him? How can I take a loan like him? How
can I rent a car like and how can I? Even though there were no cars, but how can I rent? How can I
hire like, how do I drive a car? Like it was the message that I'm driving? How do I do every aspect
of my life? Like, that was the question. As a result, wow, I saw him in a dream. By the way, I saw
him to dream. Okay. That's it. Move on. That's the real place of dreams. Nowadays. Some times it's

01:25:40 --> 01:26:01
			presented to us. Okay, I'm going to what can I do to see him in a dream? Should I do this in the
morning? That's not the objective of Bucha Hula, hula, hula forget dinner, dream this way with his
eyes. I will challenge him every day while he was alive for that dream, yet ism, the viral help. You
could see the messenger SallAllahu less than 100 times in life, you could still end up in parallel,
nothing you like the person

01:26:03 --> 01:26:46
			and somebody could never see him in his dream or his life. But it could be in general for those
objective is living a life in accordance with His teachings. Not just seeing him in a dream if you
see him hamdulillah great. It's like a bit of salt. monks have a bit of icing on the cake. The cake
is living a life according to sunnah. A bit of icing, maybe singing a dream. If you go for the ice
and no cake, then that's not the objective. So you know to actually to answer this question How can
we increase the chances I think I can answer this in a good way. How can we increase the chances of
seeing the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him in our dreams? You know how to increase live your life

01:26:46 --> 01:27:22
			at that in accordance with this will automatically happen you don't have to do anything else. From
the moment you wake up sooner in your life till the moment you sleep. And when I say so not just the
way you dress is everything. When you go to someone's wedding, when you give a gift. The messenger
Salallahu Alaihe Salam used to give a gift with sincerity not for a reason how you talk how you deal
how you deal with your relatives do you fulfill do we fulfill the the hook the rights of our
spouses, our children, our family members? All of these no fights no disputes we do all of this then
inshallah we'll see you in our dreams

01:27:26 --> 01:27:50
			to what extent should our love for Mohamed Salah CNMV. There are some people who take it too extreme
like we know them as somebody we have extreme love. Like what was asking this question? It depends
what you mean by extreme. You know, like I'll give you this book. For someone this is extreme. So
this is not extreme. Someone this is extreme. So this is not extreme. It's it's a word in the air.
Extreme.

01:27:52 --> 01:27:54
			Okay, you know for someone you tell them

01:27:55 --> 01:28:00
			don't eat too much don't go to extremes length of eating. You know what that person means? He eats

01:28:02 --> 01:28:11
			one potato in 24 hours. So if you eat into potatoes it's extreme for your your extreme eating you
haven't two potatoes.

01:28:12 --> 01:28:21
			Because for him, his yardstick is one potato. One bread. You two two pieces of bread. You extreme in
your eating.

01:28:22 --> 01:28:32
			Somebody might think five is okay, so the sixth read is extreme. So it's just in the air don't go
don't go into extremes in loving life. From what is extreme.

01:28:34 --> 01:28:36
			For someone's like you just about don't swear at him.

01:28:37 --> 01:28:42
			Then if you if you just say one good thing or message Salamone Islam was amazing. That's extreme.

01:28:43 --> 01:29:02
			For someone that might be extreme. So this whole thing that what is extreme? I can't answer this
question unless someone goes to extreme it's not this word this type of question should not be
there. What the question should be is this particular thing permissible to do or not? Is this an
innovation?

01:29:03 --> 01:29:14
			So if there's something specific that can this be done then you we can have a clear answer that this
is not right or this is right or this is a no this is better than an answer panic

01:29:18 --> 01:29:24
			please tell us more about the structure of the course okay, how detailed will it be the people below
will tell you inshallah

01:29:29 --> 01:29:36
			this is off topic question braces okay hygiene I'll leave that because we need to go we have watched
this live class okay

01:29:38 --> 01:30:00
			what is the wisdom of the professor Melissa I'm not participating in this area. Okay not actually
Jihad Surya because this you can read this in this history Sierra but look what a person cannot be
partisan participant in everything. So the major battles he will be will be part of it but then he's
sending different different he can't be like, I'll be in that sorry. And I'll be in that Surya and
that one there and they're even integrated that is logical and
