Assalamu, Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh
Bismillahi, alhamdulillahi wa salatu wa salamu ala rasulallah
Ali, he was habihi ajmain. I am super happy to be here again in
Bali, and I thank Allah for bringing me back here to meet with
you. And many of you may not have been here the last time, but
Alhamdulillah, all good, my brothers, my sisters, I want to
tell you something very interesting. One of the biggest
favors of Allah upon you is that He has mercy on you. It's called
Rahmatullah, azza wa jal, the Mercy of Allah. What is the Mercy
of Allah? Do you know if Allah Almighty has mercy on you, you
have succeeded. You have succeeded. Rahmatullah azza wa
jal, if Allah has mercy on you, you have succeeded. So always ask
Allah to have mercy on you, Allahu, marhami, you know, when
someone passes away, we say ahmadullah, may Allah have mercy
on him, or alayhi, may Allah have mercy on her, because mercy is
what will get you to paradise. You and I. Where were we? Before we
were born, we were with Allah. Where are we going to go? After we
die, we will go back to Allah. That is the verse of the Quran in
lilahi, wa in Ilahi. Raji on it translates as a dua as well. We
belong to Allah and we are going to return to Allah. It is a
reminder where you are going to go. I could die now, if I were to
die now, if I go to the Mercy of Allah, I will get Jannah, no
matter what I have done or what I did not do. If I have the Mercy of
Allah, I will go to Jannah. That is why the question asked by the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
and the question that was answered by the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa
sallam,
what will take you to paradise? Your deeds or the Mercy of Allah?
It's the Mercy of Allah. Anyone who thinks that my deeds will take
me to paradise. Has made a mistake. Now, when I spoke about
this some time back, one of the young boys, youth, he came to me,
he said, Sheik, you told us that we will only go to Jannah by the
mercy of Allah and not by our deeds. So why do we do deeds? Good
question, right?
Your Salah alone will not take you to paradise. Your zaka alone will
not take you to Paradise,
but the Mercy of Allah will grant acceptance to those deeds, and
that what, that's what will take you to Jannah. That's what will
take you to paradise. A person who fulfills prayer, if Allah has
mercy on him, he will do it properly. That's why we use the
word alone. Salah alone will not take you to paradise. You need the
Mercy of Allah.
Right? So Salah is important. It's a pillar of the deen, but alone,
if you do Salah on its own, without anything with it, you have
no concentration, you have no sincerity, you have no you know
you are not even doing it properly. You didn't learn about
it and so on. That is a waste of time.
But when you do it and you ask Allah, Oh Allah, accept it from
me. I give you a quick example. When Ibrahim alaihi salam was
instructed by Allah Almighty to build the Kaaba, he built it. But
when he finished, he didn't say, right? I did what you told me.
He said, Rabbana, takabal, Min Oh, Allah, accept it from us. Oh
Allah, accept it. And he says, Oh Allah, have mercy on me and my son
Ismail, have mercy on my family and so on the issue of mercy, may
Allah have mercy on us. May Allah, Almighty have mercy on us. So when
I am a believer, I need to have hope in the Mercy of Allah. In
order to get the Mercy of Allah, I need to fulfill my deeds. That's
the answer of the question to the young man who told me, if I am
going to enter paradise only with the Mercy of Allah, what's the
point of my deeds? The point of your deeds is that your deeds will
achieve the Mercy of Allah, and the mercy of Allah will get you to
paradise. No deeds. How are you going to get the Mercy of Allah?
So if I have not done deeds, how do I get the Mercy of Allah? Start
off with seeking forgiveness.
Is when you say, oh, Allah, forgive me. Allah has mercy on
you. In fact, I want to tell you one more when Allah loves you, for
some reason,
he gives you the acceptance to seek his forgiveness. You see, you
do things that are wrong. I am a human. You are a human. We are
human. We are full of faults, we are full of sin, we are full of
negative things as well, and we try to do good things as well. So
being a human is a mixture of so many things. I know I am a good
person. Sometimes I do something wrong. What do I say? Astava,
Allah, Oh, Allah, forgive me. I love you. I still love you. I know
that I did something wrong. I will always love you. You made me so
what happens when Allah, when Allah loves you, He makes you seek
forgiveness. He makes you say, Oh Allah, forgive me. I did something
wrong. You know, earlier, I was speaking to one of my colleagues,
and he's very hard regarding the issue of smoking. And some people
might say it's light. It's light. Why? Why is there a difference
that some people say smoking is like this and smoking is like
that, and some people take it lightly. They say, brother, talk
about more important things. No, your body is not actually yours,
right? If I ask you, how old are you, and you say, I'm 49 right?
The
brother looks like he's 49 mashallah, okay, 52 I gave you a
discount, but I was close, right? So
if you are 52 okay? And I ask you, for example, this body. Who owns
it? You say, I own it. How do you own it? Where was this body, 55
years ago? Can you explain to me, where was it? It is Allah who gave
it to you. And if Allah gives you a life of how many, ever years, I
ask young people, how long do you want to live for? I visited a
school in India two weeks ago, and I asked the kids, how long do you
want to live for? Do you know what someone said, 200 years? I said,
Well, Allah, when you are 8090 you will say, Oh Allah, please take me
away. Have mercy on me. Because you can't walk, you can't talk,
you can't hear, you can't see, you can't smell, you don't enjoy
anything. Say, Oh Allah, give me life for as long as you know that
life is better for me and, oh, Allah, take me away when you know
that it is better for me to go, right? That's a good dua, right?
So say, for example, I'm going to die at 80, right? It's a decent
age 90.
Where will I go back? What will happen to my body? Wallahi, your
body is going to go back to the soil. Min Hala, kona kumua,
minhai jokum,
we created you from this soil and dust, right?
We will return you to the soil and dust, and we will resurrect you
from the soil and dust. So when you have this body, it came from
soil and dust from Allah, and it will go back to the soil and dust
by the power of Allah, and he will take you back out of that by His
power, in a way that he knows. It shows that you do not own this
body of yours. When I want to give back an Amana, a trust, entrusted
to me. I need to give it back in a proper way. You know, before I
came in this room, I had two phones in my hand. I told a
brother, can you hold my phone for me, please? So he said, Okay, so
he has it in his pocket when I go out, if he made phone calls,
deleted my photos, took other photos, I will be upset, right?
I'd say, Brother, I gave you my phone to hold for a few hours, and
now look, you changed the cover, you changed everything, and you
did this, and you used it, and now my bill is going to be so big
Wallahi, that is so easy to understand, because it's yours,
but when it belongs to Allah, it's a little bit more complicated to
understand. But if you're a believer, you can quickly
understand the body doesn't belong to me. Let me do only something
which I know the owner will be proud that I did this.
The owner so who is your owner? Allah. Allah owns me. Wallahi,
that's why I put my head on the ground, only for Allah. He owns
me, man, he owns me. When I put my head on the ground, what am I
trying to achieve? I'm achieving the Mercy of Allah. Rahmatullah.
Why I love him? He made me I'm going to go back to him. I have no
option. I have to go back. I have to go back. This is something that
people fail to understand. I am here today. I am energetic. Where
did I get the energy from? Allah, when he starts taking it away, who
took it away? Allah,
and I don't realize when death comes.
To me, I cannot stop it in
when the fixed time of Allah comes, it is not going to be
delayed. Nothing can delay it,
if only, but you knew
so I am today energetic. I have the ability, I can see, I can
hear, I can smell, I can eat. I can enjoy the food. Here in Bali,
we can enjoy the view, the scenery, by the way, the halal
view, right, not the Haram view, okay,
may Allah protect you. See, everyone is laughing, which means
they know, right? Allahu, Akbar, may Allah forgive all of us so we
enjoy that which is halal. Wallahi. Every time you lower your
gaze, you are earning the Mercy of Allah.
Every time you lower your gaze, you are earning the Mercy of
Allah. And every time you look at what Allah has created, again in
terms of that which is beautiful, halal, the ocean, the mountains,
the greenery, the beautiful nature that Allah has made. And you say,
Masha, Allah, Tabarak, Allah, SubhanAllah, or praise, is due to
Allah. Allah is the Greatest you get the Mercy of Allah. Why you
are relating the creation to the Creator? That is what will get you
the mercy of Allah to relate the creation to the true Creator who
created entire creation,
while akin the creation of the skies and the creation of The
Earth, is far bigger than the creation of man. But many men do
not know. Many people don't know.
You look at the mountains. You look at one tree. This is Masjid
Muhammad, right, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. This is Masjid
Muhammad, named after the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam. You
see the tree outside. It is old. How old is it? Maybe 200 years,
right? How old are you? 5060,
right? When will you die? 8090, right? And the tree, the tree is
alive, 300 years still there, right? It saw you, your father,
your grandfather, and your great grandfather, the tree is still
there. Who lived longer you or the tree, the tree, when you look at
the tree, you think, I can chop it off. You can, technically, you can
cut it off, but Allah will allow it to stay, if it were to remain
for longer than your life, no matter what you do. Similarly, the
mountains have been here. The people have things have been
around for a long, long, long time. Allah says, look at it. Who
are you? Man? You are coming, you are passing. You are passing. You
are passing. I came, I passed, I went, I came, my children came.
They passed, they went. Your children came, they passed, they
went. Grandchildren, great grandchildren. Kunfid, Abu Asmaa,
salallahu Sallam says, live in this world as though you are a
stranger or a passerby. Don't amass too much. You see, when you
amass a lot and you become greedy and you want it all for yourself
without spending it, then you will not get the Mercy of Allah, and
you won't benefit from it today if you earn spend a bit of that in
the course of Allah. Let me tell you. Let me read the verse Allah
says, warahmathi, washihad kulasha, Allah, My Mercy
encompasses everything. Warahmatullahi, washay, My Mercy
encompasses everything. Don't lose hope you did something wrong. Turn
to Allah. No problem. Allah will forgive you. Your Salah is not
absolutely up to scratch. Try your best. Leave it in the hands of
Allah. Some people come and say, you know, I don't know if I'm
clean or I'm not clean. I was in the bathroom for one hour
cleaning, and I don't know, my brother, you are wasting your
time. Do your best and move on. Allah, is merciful. It's okay if
there is one or two small mistakes, no problem, minor
issues, is forgiven. You will never be 100% because you are a
human being. You understand OCD happens because people, sometimes
they overthink about, I'm not clean, and you are a human. Don't
forget, you are a human. You are trying to be an angel, but you
won't be an angel, even if your mother says, My angel, right, you
will not be.
An angel. I said, Mother, because I didn't want to say something
else. You know, nowadays, when people look at you and say, my
angel, normally is a haram person, saying that,
may Allah forgive us, but to be to be honest with you, you are a
human. Have an understanding. Allah is my Lord. He made me
imperfect. Why? Because perfection is for Paradise. Perfection is for
Jannah. It is not going to happen in the dunya. No matter how
beautiful Bali is Wallahi in paradise, they will be way beyond
Bali. Don't you agree? That's why, look, I show you one thing. People
ask me, you travel to many countries, which is the most
beautiful place, which is the best country? Good question, can I tell
you?
What do you think?
Ah, say it.
No, it's not. Zimbabwe is my own country. Mashallah, okay, here is
the when I was younger, I used to give a name, because why I first
time I'm going to Bali, Oh, wow. Subhanallah, Masha, Allah, then I
will go to Malaysia. I find the place. I go to Nigeria, I find I
went to Pakistan. I saw some beautiful things. I said, Oh, wow,
wow, wow, wow. Then I realized, as I grow older, every place has plus
and minus, every place has good and bad. Every place has some
beautiful gift of Allah and something that they will have to
tolerate. Look, you come here, for example, there is beautiful
scenery, lovely. Sometimes it's a little bit too hot and humid for
so many people, like for me, if I go to the Maldives, beautiful. I
come to Bali, superb. But sometimes for me, it might be too
humid and too hot sometime of the year, right? Sometimes they might
be maybe it's not technologically advanced, maybe it might not be
infrastructurally modern to a degree that I might be accustomed
to. Different places are different, but every place has a
gift positive, and every place has a test that is negative. It's up
to you to decide which positives are uncompromisable, I need them,
and which negatives are tolerable. I can live with them. Then you
decide the place you want you want to stay
if there is something negative and I really cannot tolerate it. Allah
says, go to another place. Go somewhere. Go to Jakarta, go live
there. See go to pandum, right?
Or go to what's the other place? Lombok, right? It has its own
beauty, am I right? When we go somewhere, we want to see certain
things that we do not have in our place. If we all had everything,
it would be a waste. So Allah Almighty has given a gift for to
everyone but in paradise, all that you have seen on Earth, and you
thought it was wow, it will be nothing compared to what you are
going to have in paradise
now to prepare for that, Allah says, Enjoy, enjoy on Earth, on
condition that it is within what I taught you and within what I want.
So if I want, for example, to earn money, I need to earn but without
stealing, without deceiving, without cheating, and I will earn
work hard. Try again the minute you cheat someone, no mercy of
Allah, the minute you deceive someone, no mercy of Allah, and so
on. So that's why work hard. Seek the forgiveness of Allah. Pray and
pray hard to Allah. Be strong.
If you missed a prayer, pray it as soon as you can. If something has
happened then you were far away from Allah, please come back,
because you have no option. When you go back to Allah, you have to
go. They are not going to ask you, okay? Do you want to still live a
few more years? No one. They are not going to ask you listen. When
Malakal mouth comes, the angel of death, when He comes, He will take
you. Ask Allah, Oh Allah, Allah, Ummah, inni as Alok, a husnal,
khatima, Oh Allah, I ask you for a good ending, a good death. Ask
Allah, no matter what you are doing, ask Allah, Oh Allah, give
me a good death, easy death, take me away. Quick, quick, so that I
can be in your mercy. Talk of the Mercy of Allah. Ask Allah, Oh
Allah, keep me alive for as long as you know life is good for me.
Take me away when you know it is better for me to go away. This is
Allah's favor. This is the Mercy of Allah. So Allah says, My Mercy
encompasses everything.
You led a life far away from Allah. Allah will have mercy on
you.
You did something major wrong. Allah will have mercy on you when
you seek forgiveness. So seeking forgiveness is key and.
When you seek forgiveness, remember this verse, wa rahmathi,
wa Siyad Kun lashey, My Mercy encompasses everything. Don't
think Allah won't forgive me because that is shaitan. That is
shaitan. Allah will forgive me. He is merciful. He is the Most
Merciful.
He is the Most Merciful.
Allah has only released one segment of mercy from 100 segments
he has kept 99
with himself for the Hereafter.
And Allah is more merciful upon you than your mother. Allah is
more merciful upon you than those on earth who might love you and
care for you. Allah has more mercy. So trust Allah if something
happened in your life that is so difficult, no problem. Oh Allah,
help me to go through this. I know you are merciful.
You will find a good thing coming out of that. I know a guy who went
through a divorce, and he went through a divorce because his wife
went through his phone, and on his phone, he had some messages that
he was not supposed to have, and the woman, she decided, I'm going
to interpret it in a certain way. I don't want to live with this man
anymore. And, you know, they tried hard and so on. And he went
through this divorce, and he says, Wallahi, I love my wife so much.
I'm ready to do anything for her. The wife says, it's enough. I'm
done. I'm gone.
He was depressed. I saw him. I told him, brother, I know what
happened was bad. You are also to blame for what happened, because
when you use your phone, use it carefully.
He says, Yeah, I didn't put a security lock. I said, No, no, no,
no, we're not talking of a security lock. We're talking of
not doing what you're doing. You see how man thinks my wife will
catch me, so I put security lock. No, no, no, no, no. The solution
is not security. My wife will catch me. Allah will catch me. Let
me not do what I'm doing. Stop it. It's over, right? So I told the
brother. I said, Brother, you know what?
Allah is merciful. Inshallah, something good will come out. He
said, What? How? Who's going to marry me? Do you know what? Two
years later, he married someone, and he became so happy, and he was
so excited, and he was super, super. He still is very he said,
You know what? It's the Mercy of Allah, Mercy of Allah. So I said,
why? He said, I don't want to say anything bad about my first ex
wife, right? But the person I have now is so good for me. I'm much
closer to Allah. I'm so happy and Masha, Allah, tabarakallah,
whatever he was saying, Alhamdulillah, right? It shows you
that sometimes you go through something Allah says, SABR. SABR
in Allah said, Wait, you lost your job. I want to give you a big and
better income, a bigger and better income, maybe not with a job. I
want you maybe to do business. There was a brother who was who
lost his job, and as he was driving away,
he's thinking, what's going to happen and whatever. Then he told
himself, I don't need my car anymore. I don't need my car
anymore because I don't have to go to work and come back. Let me
advertise and sell my car. So he advertised, and people show an
interest in his car. So many people phoned him. We want the
car. So he sold it. But he's still he's still getting what phone
calls, he told me, because of all those phone calls, I started
buying the same car and selling it to this guy buying it and selling
he became a car dealer.
He became a car dealer. Why? Because people were interested in
his car as soon as one job finished, Allah says, Don't worry,
your wealth is on me.
Your sustenance is on me, not only you
feel her,
anything that is moving on earth, Allah has promised that he will
provide for it,
Allah. I always say, if Allah provides for the ants that you
cannot see, do you think he missed you? He can see you even more
clearly. For Allah, it's the same, isn't it? Allah provides for
something you can't see
you. He knows come come closer to Allah, Allah will give you, Allah
will give you enough, and Allah will keep you happy, but it's the
Mercy of Allah. So when you seek forgiveness, don't doubt it.
When you made your ablution, wudu, don't doubt it when you go to the
bathroom and you clean, don't doubt it. Do your best and move
out. It's okay.
Something you might find out. Oh, it wasn't 100% no problem. It's
okay. You did your best, isn't it done? You did your Salah. Don't
start doubting. Doubting. Do your best and Move. Move. Allah does
not need your act of worship. You need it in order to get the Mercy
of Allah. To get the Mercy of Allah, you don't need to be
perfect. You just need to try your best. That's all.
You will never be perfect. You want the Mercy of Allah. Try your
best. That's enough.
I want to go to paradise. I will try my best. I will go on holiday.
When I go on holiday, I try my best. People asking me, I'm going
to Bali. You are going? Are you sure there is halal food there? I
said, Yes. MashaAllah, Abu Nawaz is down the road, right?
MashaAllah, may Allah, bless you.
MashaAllah. Masha Am I right or wrong? You see, everyone knows the
place. MashaAllah, so people say, but we didn't see I said, if you
search for it, you will find it. Right?
You have so many, I can name you a few more. Can I name another one?
Have you visited Ratu, Timur?
You see, I know the names, right? Subhanallah, because we are all
interested. Where is the halal food? Where is this place? This
place? And we know what it is. You're on holiday. What do you do?
You try your best. I always say, don't miss your prayer. Don't turn
away from Allah subhanahu wa don't do haram just because you are on
holiday. And if you fall quickly, come back. Quick, quick, quick.
You don't know when you're going to die. You don't know when you're
going to die. You know, I fly every other week. I'm in the
aircraft. I was coming here to Bali as well. MashaAllah,
beautiful journey we had. Now the plane begins to move right. It
starts moving. You know, nowadays, because of the weather, there is
more turbulence. I notice it from before, and now, now there is more
movement of the plane, going up and down. Inshallah, the plane,
generally is made to handle that. But man the heart,
maybe who knows, who knows, right?
So that level of iman, it becomes something where you know, I might
go back to Allah, Subhanahu wa anytime you might your death might
be written anywhere. Just prepare. How do you prepare? I want the
Mercy of Allah. I want them going to try my best if I swerve, come
back, if I did something wrong, come back and don't doubt Allah.
Allah loves you. You're a believer. Today we are sitting
where in the house of Allah, in the house of for me to be here
talking in Bali is a big deal. For me, it's a very big deal. What are
we trying to do? We just want to say, Guys, let's come closer to
Allah. We want the Mercy of Allah. So let me finish the verse that I
was reading, because we started off by saying, Allah's Mercy
encompasses everything what Amati was here at Kula, Shay, FASA, act
to buhali, Levy, tuna, Zakah,
WA Levina, whom you
mean,
amazing My Mercy, Allah says, he's encompassing everything. Who will
I write it for? Who deserves my mercy the most? Who Allah says,
Allah, those who have Taqwa, those who build a relationship with me.
You want the Mercy of Allah, build a relationship with Him. How's
your relationship with Allah? How do I build a relationship with
Allah? Do what he told you to do and don't do what he told you not
to do. Simple,
right?
Allah. Toon zakah, those who give, when you give, Allah says you are
going to get my mercy. Give what give from what we gave you? What
do you have? I have a salary. How much do you get? So many 1000 US
dollars. Because, you know, when I was landing, they made an
announcement in the plane that you are not allowed to bring more than
how many million
rupiah, right? And I'm thinking, How much is that? I don't know,
because it sounds big figures, big figure. When I was in Zimbabwe,
not too long ago, there was
currency crash, 100 trillion Zimbabwe dollars. I was a
trillionaire. Someone says, Who here has made 1 billion? I put up
my hand straight away. Why? Because
you didn't say, US dollars.
I have, I had more than
300
quadrillion.
How much was it worth? Five US dollars?
Five US dollars. May Allah forgive us. May Allah forgive us. So the
point here is, when Allah gives you give from that
spend, oh son of Adam, I will spend on you. You want give. I
will give you more. Give. I will give you more. Allah does not want
you to attach to the worldly material items, because your
eternal abode is not this world. It is coming later on. To earn it,
you must give here. Don't be attached, right? A la Vinaya
takun, WA Yu tuna, Zakah, walaina Hum bi Aya, Tina yum Minun, those
who believe in the verses of Allah and the signs of Allah. So many
signs you think about today. We spoke about some of them.
I asked you the question, Where do you come from? Where were you
before you were born? Where are you going after you die? Think
about it carefully. All Allah is telling you, prepare. Prepare for
this. And then in the same verses, Allah says,
Allah, Vinaya, tabi una Rusu, LAN Nabi alum, tu bud na hum, fita
roti, well in Jill, ya murum, bilma, aruvian. Ha Hu manil, Monk,
WA Yu hin Lula, hum, ubati,
Ola
Alika,
amazing. I'm going to leave you to do the homework to check the
meaning of that verse, But let me give you a quick gist of it. Allah
is telling us you follow the Prophet sallallahu sallam,
the one whom who brought to you the instruction of Allah, anything
he said is prohibited, it's because it is not good. Anything
he instructed to do, it is because it is good. Anything he asked you
to eat or to consume or consider halal, it's because it is pure
anything he said that you should not consume or partake of. It is
because it is impure. Halal is for a reason. Haram is for a reason.
When you follow that Prophet whom they find in the Bible and in the
Old Testament, the Torah, Allah Almighty, says, When you follow
him to the T those are the ones who are successful. What did he
bring? He brought goodness. So I end by saying, when Allah tells
you your do's and don'ts, don't look at it as a burden. Don't
drink alcohol. Don't intoxicate yourself. Don't gamble. Don't get
into *. Don't do, for example, drugs and so on. Don't do
the casinos and what have you
why so many rules? Young people say, Come on, guy, I just want to
enjoy life. You know, I just want to enjoy life, my brother. I want
to enjoy death.
I want to enjoy life and death, not just life. So to enjoy life
and death, let me be balanced.
Is my life going to be added value to when I'm intoxicated? When I'm
intoxicated, there was a brother drinking one day,
Muslim guy,
and he saw me,
are you Zakir Naik? I said, come on. You
understand what I'm saying?
Why? Because the man is whatever I just looked I said, Wa Alaikum.
Salaam.
First, you start with Salam, right? The man has he's drinking.
He's intoxic He doesn't know who's in front of him. Imagine he
doesn't Wallahi, why do this? For what Allah says, don't drink.
Don't intoxicate. When you see someone I know, Brother, how are
you? Mashallah, so on. I know who you are, or whatever you want to
say. That's a small matter, but the bigger matter is abstention
from haram. Similarly, two days ago, I received a call to say, You
know what one of my family members is gambling money,
and we lost so much money. Please, can you help us to give zakat to
us? I said, No way. No way. Why should zakat be given to someone
to oil the bad habit they have every time they will say, go to
gamble. We will get zakat from that organization. Don't just go.
It's okay. My brother. Pay the Price. Feel the burden. You must
taste the negative of it. Because you know, what you did is
terrible. Allah already told you, haram. I can give.
Zakat to someone in debt. But why should I give zakat to a gambler
who's lost his money through haram
Allah says, Give, but give in a nice way to those who are in need.
Yes, if the man has made tawba And he really nothing's going to
happen again. You want to put some strings in place and assist the
family, maybe. But my brothers and sisters, the example is absolutely
amazing. When Allah instructs you, so many rules, so many
regulations, please understand these rules and regulations are
there
so that you can achieve the goodness of this world and the
next,
so that you can achieve the goodness of this world and the
next, Allah did not make rules in your life so that you can suffer.
When Islam first came and the Prophet Muhammad, sallAllahu,
sallam, was telling people, don't do this, don't do that. Don't do
this, don't do that, the Arabs at the time in Mecca, they started
saying this, Quran that is coming. It is bringing about a lot of
distress for us, distress
Omar ibn Khattab, Rabbi Allahu Anh was one of them.
They used to think too many rules, too many regulations coming one by
and that was just the beginning. That was only the beginning
when he went to murder the Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wa sallam, that
was the intention he had. He ended up at his sister's house, and he
ended up reading verses of the Quran. What was the first thing he
read?
Allah
says Taha, we did not reveal this Quran to you. O Muhammad,
sallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam, for it to be a means of distress. No,
it is a reminder for those who have the consciousness of Allah,
the fear of Allah,
immediately he knew this answers my question, right? It answers
what his question. The same applies to many of us. Many people
think, ah, too many rules. Follow those rules and see what it does.
Follow the rules, and you will earn the Mercy of Allah. If you
have the Mercy of Allah, you have absolutely everything. May Allah
bless you and bless all of us. Grant you goodness and ease. I
look forward to coming to Bali for a longer time Inshallah, so that
we can interact one by one. And I look forward to spending a few
moments inshallah to meet those who are here by the will of Allah,
Subhanahu wa Allah, if He allows us. But for now, I hope you have
benefited by the few words we are trying only to bring ourselves
closer to Allah. We respect all the creatures of Allah, all the
other people as well, those who are Muslim. Those who are non
Muslim, we offer them respect. We will be strict on ourselves. For
me, I need to worship Allah, and I need to make sure I do things to
the best of my ability. Keep trying improve, improve, improve
until the last day on earth will be the best day that you ever had.
And Inshallah, you and I go to Jannah in the companionship of
Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu, alayhi wa sallam, Amin yarbal alameen,
Abu kawlihala, Nabi na Muhammad wa sallam, Ali Kumar, Ahmed Allah.
