00:00:00 --> 00:00:03
			As salaamu, alaykum,
warahmatullahi wa, Barakatuh

00:00:05 --> 00:00:11
			WA, Allah alihi wa, sahbhi ajma,

00:00:12 --> 00:00:16
			my beloved brothers and sisters,
when we watch what is happening in

00:00:16 --> 00:00:22
			Palestine and we see our brothers
and sisters being killed, it hurts

00:00:22 --> 00:00:27
			us, and indeed, we would like to
see a stop to all of that. Not

00:00:27 --> 00:00:32
			only do we pray, but every single
one of us is meant to do whatever

00:00:32 --> 00:00:38
			is in his or her capacity to stop
this warfare, this aggression,

00:00:38 --> 00:00:45
			this genocide, may Allah Almighty
grant us as an ummah victory, and

00:00:45 --> 00:00:48
			may Allah make it easy for those
who are struggling and suffering.

00:00:49 --> 00:00:53
			Similarly, there are others across
the globe who are suffering and

00:00:53 --> 00:00:59
			struggling, many of them being
killed, and sometimes the question

00:00:59 --> 00:01:04
			is, why does Allah allow this?
Allah is the Most Merciful. Allah

00:01:04 --> 00:01:09
			is the most kind. Allah is the
most magnificent. Why would he

00:01:09 --> 00:01:10
			allow

00:01:11 --> 00:01:14
			innocent people, men, women and
children to be butchered in this

00:01:14 --> 00:01:22
			particular way? Now, in order for
us to understand the murderer also

00:01:22 --> 00:01:29
			faces death, even if nobody
actually penalized him. Says one

00:01:29 --> 00:01:33
			person murdered another, there
would come a time when the

00:01:33 --> 00:01:39
			murderer, even if nobody caught
him, or if he did not face justice

00:01:39 --> 00:01:45
			on earth he will still die. He
might die at the age of 70, maybe

00:01:45 --> 00:01:49
			a little bit more or a little bit
less. He could die being murdered

00:01:49 --> 00:01:55
			himself, or he could die a death
that people might call natural.

00:01:55 --> 00:02:00
			But he also has to go so it is
foolish to commit murder in the

00:02:00 --> 00:02:05
			first place, because the one who's
murdering is also going to die at

00:02:05 --> 00:02:09
			some point. It's just a little bit
delayed. So those who are

00:02:09 --> 00:02:12
			perpetrating the crimes in
Palestine, it's not like they are

00:02:12 --> 00:02:17
			going to live forever. They too
are going to die, even if nobody

00:02:17 --> 00:02:22
			actually manages to get back at
them, they are going to return to

00:02:22 --> 00:02:26
			Allah, and ultimate justice will
always happen on the Day of

00:02:26 --> 00:02:30
			Judgment. In this world, there are
so many people who get away with

00:02:30 --> 00:02:34
			murder, both literally and
figuratively.

00:02:35 --> 00:02:39
			They get away with crimes in this
world, sometimes you might take a

00:02:39 --> 00:02:44
			person to court, or the court may
pass a ruling to say, in this

00:02:44 --> 00:02:48
			particular case, for example, that
this land actually belongs to the

00:02:48 --> 00:02:53
			Palestinians, or that a genocide
is being committed, even if the

00:02:53 --> 00:02:57
			International Court of Justice has
passed that judgment, sometimes

00:02:58 --> 00:03:05
			the perpetrators might get away,
and sometimes a court can pass a

00:03:05 --> 00:03:09
			ruling that was wrong. How many
have committed murder in this

00:03:09 --> 00:03:11
			country, South Africa,

00:03:12 --> 00:03:17
			and they got away scot free, and
the people felt short changed, and

00:03:17 --> 00:03:20
			they felt there was no justice,
but ultimate justice will

00:03:20 --> 00:03:25
			definitely come on the Day of
Judgment, so it's just a matter of

00:03:25 --> 00:03:31
			time. That's what it is. Don't
despair. Now, going back to the

00:03:31 --> 00:03:36
			issue of why Allah would allow
this to happen. Remember, he

00:03:36 --> 00:03:41
			created us in the first place, and
we have to return to him anyway,

00:03:41 --> 00:03:46
			no matter how you die, you have to
die. That's what it is. And death

00:03:46 --> 00:03:51
			is not a bad thing for a believer,
because ultimately, what a

00:03:51 --> 00:03:55
			connection with your maker teaches
you is that you should just

00:03:55 --> 00:03:59
			prepare for the day you're going
to return to that same maker, and

00:03:59 --> 00:04:01
			that's what death is all about?

00:04:02 --> 00:04:06
			Mean, il mautu, the gift of a
believer is actually death. Allah

00:04:06 --> 00:04:10
			promised you when you pray, I will
give you this reward when you do

00:04:10 --> 00:04:13
			charity, I will give you that
reward when you do good, I will

00:04:13 --> 00:04:17
			give you this when you stay away
from sin, I will give you that.

00:04:18 --> 00:04:21
			Where are you going to get all of
this you need to go into the

00:04:21 --> 00:04:26
			hereafter to see the reward that
you are going to achieve. Right?

00:04:26 --> 00:04:30
			So, if you are not prepared to go
into the hereafter, how are you

00:04:30 --> 00:04:34
			going to go to paradise? And in
order to get to the hereafter, you

00:04:34 --> 00:04:39
			need to die. And if you look at
death as a negative thing, then

00:04:39 --> 00:04:43
			how are you going to get into
receiving the most positive thing,

00:04:43 --> 00:04:46
			which is paradise when you don't
want to go through that death.

00:04:47 --> 00:04:51
			That's why we are taught
almotubane, wakullu, Nasi, dahi

00:04:51 --> 00:04:55
			luhu, death is a door, and every
human being shall go through that

00:04:55 --> 00:04:59
			door. In fact, it goes beyond
humankind to all the creatures of

00:04:59 --> 00:04:59
			Al.

00:05:00 --> 00:05:05
			Allah, Subhanahu wa taala, every
soul shall taste death. Colon of

00:05:05 --> 00:05:05
			sin.

00:05:12 --> 00:05:17
			Wa injure. Allah,

00:05:19 --> 00:05:24
			says, Every soul shall taste
death, and indeed, you shall be

00:05:24 --> 00:05:29
			given your rewards on the Day of
Judgment. Allah wants you

00:05:30 --> 00:05:35
			to understand that you were with
him prior to your birth, and you

00:05:35 --> 00:05:40
			will return to him after your
death. That's why, in another

00:05:40 --> 00:05:41
			verse, Allah says,

00:05:42 --> 00:05:45
			thum Elaina,

00:05:47 --> 00:05:53
			every soul shall taste death, and
then you will return to us. Allah

00:05:53 --> 00:05:59
			says, in fact, if you hear of the
death of anyone, what is the first

00:05:59 --> 00:06:03
			thing you are taught to say as a
believer, don't we say inna

00:06:03 --> 00:06:08
			Lillahi wa inna Ilahi Raji on why?
Because it is impactful in its

00:06:08 --> 00:06:13
			meaning, and it is filled with
great meaning. And that is a

00:06:13 --> 00:06:18
			summary of your existence and mine
in a nutshell.

00:06:20 --> 00:06:25
			Indeed, we belong to Allah, and we
are all going to return to Allah.

00:06:26 --> 00:06:28
			Now, when murder has happened,

00:06:29 --> 00:06:35
			there is a level of death that
occurred that may well determine

00:06:35 --> 00:06:37
			the future of the person killed.

00:06:38 --> 00:06:39
			If I tell you,

00:06:40 --> 00:06:43
			Look, my brother, you struggled in
this world. But don't worry,

00:06:43 --> 00:06:46
			Allah, will reward you in the
Hereafter, don't we hear that it's

00:06:46 --> 00:06:50
			difficult, because we are human
beings. It's easy to say it, but

00:06:50 --> 00:06:53
			difficult to live through it. I
need to suffer and struggle on

00:06:53 --> 00:06:58
			Earth. Allah says, Look, we
created you on earth. We did not

00:06:58 --> 00:07:01
			guarantee you that you going to
have it smooth sailing. In fact,

00:07:01 --> 00:07:07
			we will test you one after the
other. Wala Abu, nuwan akum, every

00:07:07 --> 00:07:12
			time we repeat this verse where
Allah says, We will indeed test

00:07:12 --> 00:07:17
			all of you. Life is not going to
be smooth. You will have a day

00:07:17 --> 00:07:20
			when you suffer and you think to
yourself, when is this going to

00:07:20 --> 00:07:25
			end, if that happens, Allah says,
with the patience that you endure,

00:07:25 --> 00:07:31
			we will give you a good death, and
we will give you eternal bliss of

00:07:31 --> 00:07:38
			paradise. So when you die, is your
Lord happy with you or not? If he

00:07:38 --> 00:07:42
			is pleased with you, you have died
a good death, and if He is not

00:07:42 --> 00:07:47
			pleased with you, no matter what
luxuries you had on earth that was

00:07:47 --> 00:07:51
			not a good death, how can you die
and your Lord is not happy with

00:07:51 --> 00:07:56
			you? Allah is not happy with you.
So Allah says, when we put

00:07:56 --> 00:08:00
			hardship in your life, it is in
order to bring you closer to us

00:08:01 --> 00:08:04
			and in order to realize the
temporary nature of this world,

00:08:05 --> 00:08:08
			people will take you for a ride.
People will rob you. They will

00:08:08 --> 00:08:12
			steal from you. People will do all
sorts of things to you. Sometimes

00:08:12 --> 00:08:16
			you make poor decisions in your
life, as a result of which you

00:08:16 --> 00:08:20
			suffered and struggled. ALLAH
says, take it in your stride and

00:08:20 --> 00:08:24
			use the situation to come closer
to me.

00:08:26 --> 00:08:30
			Use the situation to come closer
to me. Moments ago, I was seated

00:08:30 --> 00:08:34
			in the front a youngster comes to
me with a very good question. And

00:08:34 --> 00:08:35
			he says,

00:08:36 --> 00:08:40
			How do I ensure that Allah listens
to my dua?

00:08:41 --> 00:08:44
			And I said, Well, develop a
relationship with him. That's in a

00:08:44 --> 00:08:49
			nutshell. Obviously, the answer of
it is long, right? But you want

00:08:49 --> 00:08:53
			Allah to listen to your DUA. Build
a connection with him. So how do

00:08:53 --> 00:08:56
			you build a connection with him?
You need to make sure you fulfill

00:08:56 --> 00:09:00
			the duties that he has asked you
to fulfill. You know what they

00:09:00 --> 00:09:04
			are, and stay away from that which
he told you to stay away from. You

00:09:04 --> 00:09:08
			know what it is, and because you
are a human, you are going to

00:09:08 --> 00:09:12
			falter. And when you do falter,
seek forgiveness instantly,

00:09:12 --> 00:09:16
			immediately, and keep seeking
forgiveness. And then you see how

00:09:16 --> 00:09:18
			Allah will answer your DUA.

00:09:19 --> 00:09:23
			Get close to Allah, not only at a
time of difficulty, but even at a

00:09:23 --> 00:09:28
			time of ease. You know the Hadith
says, Tara Raf, Illa, lahir, Raha

00:09:28 --> 00:09:30
			e ya, Arif, Kafi, shiddhi,

00:09:32 --> 00:09:36
			get acquainted with Allah during
your times of ease, and Allah will

00:09:36 --> 00:09:41
			be acquainted with you during your
times of hardship. But when Allah

00:09:41 --> 00:09:45
			loves you, sometimes you've turned
away from him, he'll create

00:09:45 --> 00:09:49
			hardship. He wants to bring you
closer and closer to him.

00:09:50 --> 00:09:55
			You know, I give you an example of
sport. In sport, whether it is

00:09:55 --> 00:09:59
			swimming or football or whatever
you like to participate.

00:15:00 --> 00:15:04
			Battle. If a person is fighting
because he is defending Islam and

00:15:04 --> 00:15:08
			the Muslims and the cause of
justice, he is considered a

00:15:08 --> 00:15:10
			Shaheed if he is killed.

00:15:11 --> 00:15:16
			So now comes the reason why Allah
allows all of this to happen for

00:15:16 --> 00:15:20
			those people to have eternal bliss
of the highest degrees of

00:15:20 --> 00:15:25
			paradise, because, trust me,
ultimately, we all have to die.

00:15:25 --> 00:15:30
			I'd rather die in a condition that
my Lord was pleased with me and

00:15:30 --> 00:15:35
			that I can have eternal bliss of
the Hereafter, than to die on my

00:15:35 --> 00:15:39
			bed where my lord was not pleased
with me, but I had the luxuries of

00:15:39 --> 00:15:44
			the temporary world for 60 to 70
years, even though I did not face

00:15:45 --> 00:15:47
			any opportunity for me to become a
martyr.

00:15:49 --> 00:15:50
			Now, sometimes

00:15:51 --> 00:15:55
			you and I know that there might
not be such warfare. In the case

00:15:55 --> 00:16:00
			of Palestine, it is it is there.
It is true we see people being

00:16:00 --> 00:16:03
			butchered. Any one of them who
have passed on is called a

00:16:03 --> 00:16:04
			shaheed.

00:16:05 --> 00:16:08
			They are called shaheed. They are
martyrs. They bore witness for the

00:16:08 --> 00:16:12
			cause of justice and truth. Allah
gives them a rank if they were

00:16:12 --> 00:16:16
			truthful to Allah. Allah gives
them a rank that is far higher

00:16:16 --> 00:16:20
			than the rank of the ordinary
person out there, even among the

00:16:20 --> 00:16:20
			believers

00:16:22 --> 00:16:32
			for Allah, ikama, Alaina was
Siddiqui. Now da

00:16:34 --> 00:16:37
			was Ali hin waha, suna, Ula,

00:16:39 --> 00:16:43
			ikarofika, Dali kal fadlu,
dalimina,

00:16:44 --> 00:16:47
			Waka, fabila Yama,

00:16:49 --> 00:16:54
			Allah is sufficient, as the all
knower, Allah says those, when he

00:16:54 --> 00:16:57
			mentions those who believe and do
good deeds and seek forgiveness of

00:16:57 --> 00:17:02
			Allah, and Allah loves them and
grants them a high rank. What is

00:17:02 --> 00:17:07
			the rank? Allah speaks about in
the Quran. He says they will be

00:17:07 --> 00:17:11
			with the prophets in the
hereafter. Nabi Yin was siddiqin,

00:17:11 --> 00:17:15
			those who were truthful when I say
I'm a Muslim, it's easy to say I'm

00:17:15 --> 00:17:19
			a Muslim. Are you really a Muslim?
Are you truthful? Are you prepared

00:17:19 --> 00:17:24
			to sacrifice today, our sisters in
many countries are being

00:17:24 --> 00:17:28
			prohibited from putting on a hijab
when they sacrifice and they are

00:17:28 --> 00:17:32
			truthful to the fact that they are
Muslim and they face persecution

00:17:32 --> 00:17:35
			because they are putting on a
hijab every moment of that

00:17:35 --> 00:17:40
			sacrifice, their status is being
elevated and they are being

00:17:40 --> 00:17:44
			rewarded just for standing up and
doing the right thing.

00:17:45 --> 00:17:49
			The same applies to you and I as
men. We face persecution at times

00:17:49 --> 00:17:52
			simply because we're Muslims. It's
becoming more and more apparent,

00:17:52 --> 00:17:56
			even though we're in the 21st
century where we would never have

00:17:56 --> 00:18:00
			believed that it would degenerate
to this level. But in so many

00:18:00 --> 00:18:04
			parts of the globe, people are
suffering only because they are

00:18:04 --> 00:18:09
			Muslim, and Islam is a pure faith,
and it is growing as the fastest

00:18:09 --> 00:18:13
			religion, and so therefore they
will face persecution. People

00:18:13 --> 00:18:16
			don't want that. Something
overtakes them. You have a

00:18:16 --> 00:18:20
			business, and another man opens up
a business that's quite similar,

00:18:20 --> 00:18:23
			and he's doing better than you,
shaytan, will come to you and make

00:18:23 --> 00:18:27
			you feel jealous. May Allah,
Almighty grant us goodness. So

00:18:27 --> 00:18:31
			when you face persecution and when
you have stood you are known as a

00:18:31 --> 00:18:36
			truthful person. You were true to
the Shahada. What is the Shahada?

00:18:36 --> 00:18:39
			You know we say, are you ready to
say your Shahada? Shahada means to

00:18:39 --> 00:18:43
			bear witness. Are you ready to
bear witness? That term shahada,

00:18:43 --> 00:18:47
			Shahid, Shahid, it's all from the
same root, shahidah. It means to

00:18:47 --> 00:18:51
			bear witness. What is the shahada
ash, hadu, Allah, ILAHA, illAllah.

00:18:51 --> 00:18:54
			I bear witness. There is none
worthy of worship besides Allah

00:18:54 --> 00:18:57
			adu anna muhammadan, abduhu or
rasuluhu or ashadhu. Anna

00:18:57 --> 00:19:00
			muhammadan, Rasulullah, I bear
witness that Muhammad, peace be

00:19:00 --> 00:19:03
			upon him. Is His messenger. What
are you doing? You are bearing

00:19:03 --> 00:19:07
			witness. Allah says, Did you
really bear witness? You say, Yes,

00:19:07 --> 00:19:10
			I did. So. Allah says, Okay, we're
going to test you so someone comes

00:19:10 --> 00:19:13
			and persecute you a little bit.
You gave up. What witness Did you

00:19:13 --> 00:19:17
			bear? You didn't really bear
witness. Someone came and

00:19:17 --> 00:19:20
			persecuted you or swore at you or
shouted at you. You've got to

00:19:20 --> 00:19:24
			smile and say, Oh, Allah, I'm
still a witness. They can do what

00:19:24 --> 00:19:28
			they want to me. I'm a witness
that is called Shahada. Now you

00:19:28 --> 00:19:32
			are bearing witness if you die as
a result. Guess what? You are

00:19:32 --> 00:19:37
			called a Shaheed, a martyr. And
that's why Allah says the prophets

00:19:38 --> 00:19:40
			and those who are truthful,

00:19:41 --> 00:19:45
			the companions were truthful to
their word. Abu Bakr, RadiAllahu,

00:19:45 --> 00:19:50
			an he was known as a SID because
he was truthful. When the Prophet

00:19:50 --> 00:19:54
			salallahu, Sallam came and said
that, I've been to miraj and I

00:19:54 --> 00:19:57
			went up to the heavens and I've
returned, he said, If he said it,

00:19:57 --> 00:19:59
			I believe it. Subhanallah, he's a
truthful man.

00:20:00 --> 00:20:04
			If he did not lie about worldly
matters, he will never lie about

00:20:04 --> 00:20:07
			the matters of the hereafter. If a
person is a liar, he's going to

00:20:07 --> 00:20:11
			lie, to con you, to dupe you, to
cheat you, to make you think that

00:20:11 --> 00:20:15
			he's a good person, etc, in this
world regarding the hereafter, why

00:20:15 --> 00:20:19
			should they lie? Why should the
Prophet of Allah lie? May Allah,

00:20:19 --> 00:20:23
			Almighty grant us goodness? So
nabiina was Siddiq in was Shuhada

00:20:23 --> 00:20:26
			and the martyrs. Look at the
martyrs. They are being mentioned

00:20:26 --> 00:20:30
			with the prophets and the
truthful. What a rank of Allah? If

00:20:30 --> 00:20:33
			Allah wants a rank for you, he
puts you in a quota.

00:20:35 --> 00:20:40
			What's the meaning of a quota? Did
you know that Allah has a certain

00:20:40 --> 00:20:44
			number of people, which he will
definitely make sure that they

00:20:44 --> 00:20:49
			earn the rank of martyrdom. He has
that number. Leah, Allah, Allahu

00:20:50 --> 00:20:51
			Minh,

00:20:52 --> 00:20:56
			Allahu Akbar. Allah says he wants
to know the believers from among

00:20:56 --> 00:20:59
			you, the hypocrites from among
you. He wants to distinguish

00:20:59 --> 00:21:03
			between the two. You said you
believe? Do you really believe? Or

00:21:03 --> 00:21:06
			you are filled with hypocrisy?
Allah says, We'll test you one

00:21:06 --> 00:21:09
			after the other, if you are
truthful. Allah says, why?

00:21:14 --> 00:21:18
			Allah allows certain things to
happen. Allah allows certain

00:21:18 --> 00:21:23
			people to be killed in order for
him to fill his quota of martyrs,

00:21:23 --> 00:21:26
			who will have the highest ranks,
some people need to give their

00:21:26 --> 00:21:30
			lives for a cause. That's when the
cause will move forward. When the

00:21:30 --> 00:21:35
			battle of Badr took place, what
was at stake? The whole of Islam

00:21:35 --> 00:21:39
			was at stake. There were 313
Muslims. They were prepared to

00:21:39 --> 00:21:43
			give their lives in order for the
message that there is none worthy

00:21:43 --> 00:21:47
			of worship besides Allah and
Muhammad, peace be upon him. Is

00:21:47 --> 00:21:51
			the final messenger to go forward
in order for that message to come

00:21:51 --> 00:21:52
			to you and I today, 313

00:21:53 --> 00:21:57
			people were prepared to give up
their lives. Some of them lost

00:21:57 --> 00:22:02
			their lives as a result, Allah
loved them so much that Muhammad,

00:22:02 --> 00:22:07
			sallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam says
in one narration, Wama udrika la

00:22:07 --> 00:22:12
			Allah, Ali, Badr, fakala, malum,
mashaytum, fa ini, qafar, tulakum.

00:22:13 --> 00:22:17
			How do you know Allah Almighty
looked at the hearts of the people

00:22:17 --> 00:22:21
			who participated in the Battle of
Badr, and Allah told them, do what

00:22:21 --> 00:22:24
			you want from today, Allah is
pleased with you. It's okay. No

00:22:24 --> 00:22:27
			matter what you do in your life,
you are going to be successful.

00:22:27 --> 00:22:31
			That's why some of them, if and
very few who may have done some

00:22:31 --> 00:22:34
			things that were questionable, the
Prophet sallallahu, Sallam says,

00:22:34 --> 00:22:38
			Be careful what you say about
these people, no matter how much

00:22:38 --> 00:22:42
			you spend. It will not equate
anything that they spent, even if

00:22:42 --> 00:22:45
			you spend a mountain full of gold
in the Cause of Allah, and they

00:22:45 --> 00:22:50
			spent one handful of gold, one
handful of anything, theirs is

00:22:50 --> 00:22:53
			better than yours because they
were prepared to sacrifice. They

00:22:53 --> 00:22:56
			lost their lives. Look at the
Battle of why did they fight? Look

00:22:56 --> 00:22:59
			at the Battle of the Trench. Why
did they fight? If you look at all

00:22:59 --> 00:23:03
			of this, you realize it's for a
cause, someone, somewhere is going

00:23:03 --> 00:23:06
			to risk their lives in order for
the rest of the people to live in

00:23:06 --> 00:23:10
			safety. And those who lose their
lives, Allah says you will have

00:23:10 --> 00:23:14
			the rank of martyrdom, even if you
did not lose your life. And even

00:23:14 --> 00:23:16
			those on the other side, there
will come a day when you have to

00:23:16 --> 00:23:21
			die anyway. Khalid Ibn Walid Ibn
muhira Radi Allahu anhuma. He was

00:23:21 --> 00:23:26
			a great man. He was a warrior. Do
you know what? He died on his bed,

00:23:26 --> 00:23:30
			even though there was no spot on
his body, there was not an inch on

00:23:30 --> 00:23:36
			his body that didn't have marks of
daggers and spears and swords to

00:23:36 --> 00:23:40
			prove that he was a warrior. He
says, Falana, jubana,

00:23:41 --> 00:23:46
			all of those cowards out there who
think that I'm not going to stand

00:23:46 --> 00:23:49
			for a cause because I might die,
let them know I fought in every

00:23:49 --> 00:23:54
			battle and I didn't die. Here I am
dying on my bed, a death that is

00:23:54 --> 00:23:59
			not even on the battlefield,
subhanAllah, they say, and just a

00:23:59 --> 00:24:03
			point of interest. Khalid didn't
Walid, RadiAllahu, anhuma. He was

00:24:03 --> 00:24:07
			known as safe Allah, the sword of
Allah. If he had died in a

00:24:07 --> 00:24:11
			battlefield, the enemy would be
able to say, we broke the sword of

00:24:11 --> 00:24:15
			Allah. So part of the wisdom of it
is, he did not die in the

00:24:15 --> 00:24:18
			battlefield. He died on his bed.
Nobody could ever say, we broke

00:24:18 --> 00:24:22
			the sword of Allah. That's that's
an interesting point, an

00:24:22 --> 00:24:25
			interesting factor that some of
the scholars have made mention of.

00:24:25 --> 00:24:30
			Nonetheless, when Allah has chosen
for people to pass away in a

00:24:30 --> 00:24:34
			certain way, it might seem very
demeaning and ugly to you and I,

00:24:34 --> 00:24:38
			but in the eyes of Allah, it might
be the most blessed death. I want

00:24:38 --> 00:24:42
			to quickly go through certain
people and certain of those who

00:24:42 --> 00:24:46
			pass on when they die, they are
granted the rank of martyrdom, the

00:24:46 --> 00:24:51
			highest possible rank, because
they died for the for the correct

00:24:51 --> 00:24:56
			cause. You know, those who die in
an army in a nation to defend the

00:24:56 --> 00:24:59
			nation, they are draped in the
flag of that particular.

00:25:00 --> 00:25:03
			Nation, they are given a 21 gun
salute, I don't know if you know

00:25:03 --> 00:25:06
			about this, and they are made they
are sometimes given a national

00:25:06 --> 00:25:11
			heroic burial and so on. Why?
Because they died for a cause, to

00:25:11 --> 00:25:14
			defend the nation. When you die,
to defend the deen of Allah

00:25:14 --> 00:25:20
			subhanahu wa grants you way beyond
that. Those who passed away

00:25:20 --> 00:25:24
			because of someone trying to steal
their wealth, are considered

00:25:24 --> 00:25:25
			Shahid

00:25:26 --> 00:25:29
			if you if you die, if you are
killed, because you are protecting

00:25:29 --> 00:25:34
			your wealth, your family, your
dignity and and your own life you

00:25:34 --> 00:25:39
			are, you are granted the rank of
martyrdom immediately. So you see

00:25:39 --> 00:25:42
			murder happening. Even here in
South Africa, there is a lot of

00:25:42 --> 00:25:45
			crime. You and I know that many
people say I don't want to go to

00:25:45 --> 00:25:47
			South Africa because of the crime,
but they don't realize you're

00:25:47 --> 00:25:50
			living in America, there's more
crime there. May Allah Almighty

00:25:50 --> 00:25:51
			grant us ease.

00:25:52 --> 00:25:56
			Nonetheless, if a person dies
being shot dead because of a cell

00:25:56 --> 00:25:59
			phone because of something,
obviously we don't want that to

00:25:59 --> 00:26:03
			happen. But the consolation for
the family of those who of the one

00:26:03 --> 00:26:06
			who was killed is that this person
died a martyr. They are shaheed.

00:26:06 --> 00:26:08
			They have a high rank. Similarly,
when you die with

00:26:10 --> 00:26:10
			in a plague,

00:26:12 --> 00:26:15
			those who died in Corona, for
example, they died a martyr. Why?

00:26:16 --> 00:26:18
			They bore witness. They were
meaning. They bore sovereign and

00:26:18 --> 00:26:22
			patience upon the deen, they
didn't lose their faith in Allah

00:26:22 --> 00:26:26
			when, when they were on the point
of death, they kept it going.

00:26:26 --> 00:26:30
			Those who died because of any
ailment to do with the belly,

00:26:30 --> 00:26:33
			those who have drowned. And there
are so many categories that I

00:26:33 --> 00:26:37
			probably would not mention today,
there are more than 20 categories

00:26:37 --> 00:26:37
			of martyrs.

00:26:38 --> 00:26:42
			So remember something, it's not
about how you died. It's about

00:26:42 --> 00:26:45
			whether Allah is pleased with you
at the point of death, and what

00:26:45 --> 00:26:46
			you're going to get thereafter.

00:26:48 --> 00:26:52
			The people who died on the wrong
side of the battle, even though

00:26:52 --> 00:26:54
			they were killed, they are not
martyrs. Why? They were not

00:26:54 --> 00:26:57
			witnesses for the right cause.
They were witnesses for the wrong

00:26:57 --> 00:27:01
			cause, the enemy today, when they
are killing and butchering our

00:27:01 --> 00:27:04
			brothers and sisters. If some of
them were butchered or some of

00:27:04 --> 00:27:08
			them died or were killed, where do
they go? That's why Allah says

00:27:10 --> 00:27:14
			we have ijdalah. We have one of
the two good things, either we are

00:27:14 --> 00:27:17
			killed and we will go to Paradise,
or we win and we get victory on

00:27:17 --> 00:27:22
			Earth. Win. Win. Situation,
always. And as for you, O enemy,

00:27:22 --> 00:27:25
			you're either going to die at our
hands or Allah is going to take

00:27:25 --> 00:27:29
			you away anyway. So it's not like
you're going to live forever. So

00:27:29 --> 00:27:33
			my brothers and sisters, do not
despair. Do not despair. There are

00:27:33 --> 00:27:37
			so many people who are granted the
rank of martyrdom by Allah. Ask

00:27:37 --> 00:27:42
			Allah for a good death, an easy
death, where he is pleased with

00:27:42 --> 00:27:42
			you.

00:27:43 --> 00:27:47
			I mention another quick point
before I end and that is, do you

00:27:47 --> 00:27:51
			know Allah loves you, and I so
much that he doesn't allow you to

00:27:51 --> 00:27:54
			taste pain beyond the degree.

00:27:55 --> 00:27:59
			If you are in pain, you can only
taste pain up to a point after

00:27:59 --> 00:28:03
			that, it goes numb after that, for
example, you might die. So if

00:28:03 --> 00:28:06
			you're losing blood after a few
minutes, seven, eight minutes,

00:28:06 --> 00:28:10
			depending on how much and which
where you're losing blood from few

00:28:10 --> 00:28:12
			minutes later, your body goes
numb, and you're gone. You're

00:28:12 --> 00:28:15
			actually dead. People say, but he
lost so much blood, he must have

00:28:15 --> 00:28:19
			suffered. No, no, no, no. Allah is
so merciful. He said, beyond this

00:28:19 --> 00:28:22
			point, I won't allow you to
suffer. I'll just take you away.

00:28:22 --> 00:28:25
			You can be happy here. People
might think, Oh, you did this and

00:28:25 --> 00:28:27
			you went through this. They don't
know you are happy with me.

00:28:27 --> 00:28:32
			Subhanallah, you know, when you
get sliced, Allah's way of

00:28:32 --> 00:28:36
			creating us is so unique that the
central nervous system is

00:28:36 --> 00:28:41
			something mind boggling. I always
am baffled by those who don't

00:28:41 --> 00:28:44
			believe in the Lord and a maker
that can't you look within the

00:28:44 --> 00:28:48
			body, it will help you to
recognize the fact that there is

00:28:48 --> 00:28:51
			definitely a maker behind all of
this. May Allah grant us goodness,

00:28:51 --> 00:28:55
			my brothers and sisters, you and I
know as an ummah, we are

00:28:55 --> 00:29:00
			struggling. We need unity. We need
a good respect amongst each other.

00:29:00 --> 00:29:03
			We need to stand up for each
other. When the enemy comes, do

00:29:03 --> 00:29:07
			you know what he does? He makes us
into small groups so that he can

00:29:07 --> 00:29:08
			tackle one at a time.

00:29:09 --> 00:29:13
			And that's why, whenever there is
anyone who is trying to fragment

00:29:13 --> 00:29:17
			the Muslim ummah, knowingly or
unknowingly, that person is an

00:29:17 --> 00:29:20
			enemy of Islam. Remember this, no
matter who they are, sometimes

00:29:20 --> 00:29:23
			they don't know they are innocent.
They think I'm a big scholar. Let

00:29:23 --> 00:29:27
			me tell the people, all those guys
are kafirs and we are Muslims.

00:29:27 --> 00:29:30
			Those people are astray. These
people are hypocrites. That person

00:29:30 --> 00:29:34
			might be a scholar, unknowingly,
he's an enemy of Islam, because

00:29:34 --> 00:29:38
			the only way this ummah is going
to go forward is when we are

00:29:38 --> 00:29:41
			together. I'm standing on this
pulpit today in front of you to

00:29:41 --> 00:29:45
			tell you, please, learn to respect
each other, stand for each other

00:29:45 --> 00:29:50
			as a Muslim, and understand there
will be differences in the ummah.

00:29:50 --> 00:29:54
			We may not be exactly the same. We
are all members of la ilaha,

00:29:54 --> 00:29:59
			illallahu, Muhammad, Rasulullah.
The victory will only come when we

00:29:59 --> 00:29:59
			can forge a.

00:30:00 --> 00:30:04
			Be an understanding and the unity
to fight the cause together,

00:30:04 --> 00:30:07
			because separately, we are not
going to win at all. The enemy has

00:30:07 --> 00:30:13
			a divide and rule policy from the
beginning. Wala Vina ka fauna

00:30:16 --> 00:30:21
			to feel. Phil

00:30:22 --> 00:30:28
			the disbelievers, they all stand
up for one another, support each

00:30:28 --> 00:30:32
			other against you. That's what
Allah saying. If you are not going

00:30:32 --> 00:30:36
			to stand together and support each
other and protect each other, then

00:30:36 --> 00:30:39
			there's going to be chaos and
facade on Earth. Hence, we are

00:30:39 --> 00:30:45
			witnessing the chaos today. If we
were together and united, nobody

00:30:45 --> 00:30:49
			would dare lift a finger against
us. They would know as soon as you

00:30:49 --> 00:30:53
			mention a name, the whole world
will come after you. May Allah

00:30:53 --> 00:30:57
			Almighty grant us goodness and
understanding I fulfill the duty

00:30:57 --> 00:31:01
			of mine today. May Allah Almighty
truly grant us the ability to

00:31:01 --> 00:31:05
			appreciate and to work towards
that which is pleasing to Allah,

00:31:05 --> 00:31:09
			akulu, kauliha, sallAllahu,
assalamu, araka, ala Nabi na

00:31:09 --> 00:31:10
			Muhammad.
