Mufti Menk – Don’t Worry If Someone Plans Your Downfall

			correct relationship with Allah.

			And if you are true believers, you should

			lay your trust in Allah. So what's the

			beginning of the verse? Allah says, oh, you

			who believe,

			remember

			the favor of Allah upon you.

			When there were a people
		

00:00:20 --> 00:00:21

			who were
		

00:00:21 --> 00:00:24

			who had intended to harm you, and they
		

00:00:24 --> 00:00:27

			actually planned it and had started the execution
		

00:00:27 --> 00:00:28

			of the plan.
		

00:00:28 --> 00:00:29

			You know, they
		

00:00:30 --> 00:00:33

			they wanted to stretch their arm of harm
		

00:00:33 --> 00:00:36

			against you. And Allah says, we blocked that
		

00:00:36 --> 00:00:38

			arm. We stopped it. We
		

00:00:38 --> 00:00:39

			we caused
		

00:00:40 --> 00:00:41

			it to cease
		

00:00:42 --> 00:00:44

			exactly there. So Allah says,
		

00:00:45 --> 00:00:48

			we stop their hands from reaching you with
		

00:00:48 --> 00:00:49

			any harm.
		

00:00:49 --> 00:00:51

			Allah says, think of that favor.
		

00:00:53 --> 00:00:55

			Imagine how what type of
		

00:00:55 --> 00:00:58

			comfort that gives me, what type of hope
		

00:00:58 --> 00:01:01

			that gives me, that Allah has my back.
		

00:01:02 --> 00:01:04

			Allah will look after you
		

00:01:04 --> 00:01:06

			behind your back.
		

00:01:06 --> 00:01:07

			Allah will protect you.
		

00:01:08 --> 00:01:11

			Allah will make sure that those who are
		

00:01:11 --> 00:01:13

			planning your downfall will never succeed.
		

00:01:14 --> 00:01:16

			They won't succeed. In fact,
		

00:01:17 --> 00:01:19

			when someone makes a plan
		

00:01:20 --> 00:01:21

			against you,
		

00:01:21 --> 00:01:24

			or when someone curses you,
		

00:01:24 --> 00:01:25

			the justice of Allah
		

00:01:26 --> 00:01:26

			is such
		

00:01:27 --> 00:01:30

			that he doesn't allow an unjustified
		

00:01:30 --> 00:01:31

			curse
		

00:01:31 --> 00:01:32

			to go through.
		

00:01:33 --> 00:01:35

			you're actually plotting your own downfall.

			Allah says,

			You know, the evil plot
		

00:02:01 --> 00:02:02

			will not,
		

00:02:03 --> 00:02:06

			surround or will not grip and catch, you
		

00:02:06 --> 00:02:06

			know,
		

00:02:07 --> 00:02:09

			it will not grip the neck of
		

00:02:11 --> 00:02:12

			anyone besides
		

00:02:12 --> 00:02:15

			he who who deserved it, who did it
		

00:02:15 --> 00:02:16

			in the first place.
		

00:02:17 --> 00:02:19

			You know, the 1 who is the owner
		

00:02:19 --> 00:02:21

			of it, the 1 who started it. So
		

00:02:21 --> 00:02:23

			don't plan the downfall of others
		

00:02:23 --> 00:02:26

			because you're actually planning your own downfall.
