Mufti Menk – Cut The Slander

But sometimes,

we take for granted how serious

a sin is when you backbite

about someone.

You think it's light. When you slander,

you know what is slander, you lied about

them behind their backs, in front of their

backs. You lied about someone.

Allah Almighty says regarding the slander against our

mother,

Allahu Akbar.

They started saying bad words

against our mother.

Aisha radiAllahu anha. Allah says, you think it's

light. In the eyes of Allah, it's a

very serious statement.

So watch your tongue. Sometimes you and I

say things we don't realize. We think it's

okay. You know, I just forwarded a message

on WhatsApp.

Allah says, maybe that's your deed. You are

going to go in the wrong place because

of that. Don't just forward anything and everything

you'll find. If it is slanderous, delete.

That button of delete might be the button

that will get you to Jannah possible because

you cut the slander.

It didn't continue from you.

It's easy. It's so easy.
