To perfect your salah, one of the things

that's actually very important is to understand why

you are praying.

Who is it benefiting?

Now once we understand that Allah

is a samad,

He is independent

of our worship.

Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is perfect in every

way and he does not need us to

pray. So we ask mister helps the question,

why am I praying? And the answer to

that is because it benefits me.

The person who takes away the most from

salah is myself.

Now you tell yourself that if I pray

it will benefit me and if I don't

pray it will harm me.

This gives you the motivation.

It may be a little self centered,

but it gives you the motivation that this

is for my benefit.

It will help me. It will help me

be a good person to the people that

are around me.

So to perfect your salah, understand why you

are praying.
